The room was big, but hygiene was bad. The bed sheet had a brown stain and the washroom and tub had stains. I’m not sure how it goes unnoticed when it makes people grossed out.

I find them bit dodgy as I booked room for 4 (2Adults+2 Kids) and they provided only single bed. As standard 1 bed apartment no plates, iron and stand was available and provided on request.

The staff was super useful! Very polite and nice.

The staff were very Professor and respectful but the condition of the property is not good, very old and horrible smell even if the clean, the smell in the hallway and rooms. Dusty windows and poor WIFI connection.

I am a regular visitor to this hotel. The rooms are large and affordable. and the location is convenient for me. There is a magic view from the balcony. I extend my thanks to Mr Nityandan for his dedication and friendly service in ensuring the rooms are clean.

good location, pleasant staff

It was a really lovely stay, the view from the pool and the gym is stunning.
Housekeeping staff and Front Office team are super amazing helped me check in early as 6am.
I would suggest that they put in basics like dish washing liquid, dish towels and table mats.
lots of restaurants around and 2 min from Wafi Mall and close to main attractions.

This property was horrible! We booked a non smoking room for 4 people. We were given a smoking room and with 2 single beds. I complained about the bed on the first night and the front desk staff said that single beds are fine for 4 people and we should Adjust! I asked for a roll away bed and they said that I will be charged 120 per night, then they said they can reduce the change to 60. Finally they agreed to giving us the bed at no cost. As for the smoking room, they cleaned it the following day but the sofa still had the smell.
The TV did not work for our entire visit and there was no one to come fix it.
The pool was not heated and was basically useless.
Breakfast was at the restaurant below called Spinzer. On our first day, we saw a cockroach near the bread basket.
Every other day or so, I had to request towels and water bottles...somehow they forgot to leave them during cleaning.

I was given a horrible room on my first day. Weird noise like banging the table within the room every 30 to 40 mins thru out the night. Unable to catch my sleep at all. Requested for room change. Was given reply that room change can be done on availability. Demanded to speak to manager. Again a lot of reason like manager not around, attending briefing in other property. Front desk staff Shahid was very helpful and smart. He delivered as promised to do room change and handled my needs till checkout. Potter, IILad or Lihad can t remember his name was very helpful too.

Wrost Feedback I Have Ever Given

We were visited the same 3 years back and it was very good that time in term of service and cleanliness but this time it was pethetic and will not recommend anyone to stay in this Appartment even if they offer you free.

Nice clean hotel with very friendly staff

I spent 6 nights in Dubai and booked this hotel. Hotel rooms were clean and staff was very helpful. Hotel has a small swimimg pool and gym that was nice. Hotel has a mosque nearby that was very useful for prayers etc.

The pillows were washed and not comfy. Despite Keepnig the room service sign, the staff did not keep the soap or shampoo. Useless to call the reception, it takes ages for them to answer. The towels looked suspecious and dirty!! Prepare your self for Uber Taxi service as no taxis around the area. I found a cockroach one night, they need pest control.

Large 1 bedroom apartment

Large apartment with balcony. Ensuite and separate toilet. Room was clean and tidy. Furniture a bit dated and had a lot of staining, but otherwise good. Kitchen a good size. Staff always on hand, happy to help.

PS - as of march 2017 Lamcy Plaza is shut after fire and we couldn't benefit from 'Mall next door', however there are supermarket and dining places around. No one could confirm how long it will be shut for

A place to rest your head

I would stay here again based on the price.. but if you're looking to have fun or go on a vacation and you're from the west I wouldn't recommend staying here. I wouldn't say this is a 4 star hotel... my room was dirty upon arrival, I was tired after a 12 hour flight to Dubai that I fell asleep as soon as I checked in. When I woke up in the morning I showered and saw hair in the shower. While booking I ignored reviews about the lack of cleanliness and I wish I hadn't. It wasn't a totally bad experience but I don't think I'd stay there again, about 15-20 min walk to the metro station but there are a lot of taxis around the area if you need.

room service was quick with location and Wi-Fi. When I arrived, the washing machine wasn't working. we called to change it. they also changed it but after a while it stopped working. please make sure that when you provide anything, make sure it's working and is in good condition.

Staff are fantastic including Omer. Requests are responded to promptly. We found the fan in bathroom did not work. Also pool closes at 6:00pm which is too bad.

Nice hotel nice area, good service

A nice hotel, facilities are average but dont be put off. Wifi is slow and intermittent at times.
Basic gym. Good response whenever we needed the staff.

Rooms are nice and big. A bit old though so not the cleanest and needs touching up.
For example sofa was dirty and a few cracks in places here and there but overall decent for like a 3 star.

Apartment hotel next to a mall

The hotel is nice in a good location. There were some issues within the apartment. The water temperature in the bathroom was hot. Hot water was coming out out the cold faucet and when we asked why we were told that it's hot in Dubai and they cannot cool the water down. I have never heard such thing. We couldn't properly shower as the water was hot. The washer had a broken door, that had to be replaced. The fridge and freezer wasn't cooling at all, that was finally fixed on our 4th day there. The breakfast selection was pathetic; it was a big disappointment. The swimming pool closed at 6 pm so we could never use it as we were out on the town exploring and not in the hotel during the day. It would've been nice to use it after a long day out in the heat. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was huge and the staff was accommodating so those are all positives.

Stayed in Delux 2 bed apt.

The rooms are spacious and the furniture is very good, except the main room carpet is not clean and the shower head have to be replaced and the sink in second bathroom hole is broken and the bathroom fan is very noisy u can't turn it off.
Towels are not clean

Felt like home!

I stayed there for 6 nights with my mother. Staff was humble and helpful and services were great. The hotel was easy to locate. A lot of restaurants and grocery stores were just around the corner. Lamcy plaza and cinema right across the hotel is such a treat. would love to go there again for longer stay.

2 night stay, my room was very quiet & restful. Check in was pretty quick & was given some juice to drink while the receptionist completed by booking. Studio room was very large, with a balcony. I could have cooked in the room, but choose to walk 5 minutes to the food court at the Lamcy Center Shopping Mall. Overall I had a quiet plesant stay.

Exceptional value. This is indeed a palace. Will definitely stay here again. Been staying in Dubai Hotels for 10 years and this hotel is my best find. Great location, supermarkets, restaurants a few steps away. The free wifi was really free and fast. Love this place.

Horrible stay with bad service

We requested a non smoking 2 twin bed, but once we arrived we got a smoking and one king bed, so i called them and asked for room changed, they said it was only as preference. The next morning we asked again, they said they would change the room for us, then we left the hotel. We came back at 8:30pm and the receptionist said they have no rooms, unless we asked in the morning (but didnt we request already in the morning?) plus when we turned on the stove with a cooking pot, suddenly the stove exploded and i was in the kitchen. The receptionist refused to change the room and said it was us cuz the stove to explode and we need to pay for 350 dollars to the damages. This is a horrible stay in the hotel.

Nice and conveniently located hotel.

A great conveniently located apartment hotel. We enjoyed the apartment well. It has some aging signs especially in the bathrooms but overall OK. The room closets have no hangers or iron. The kitchen had no soap.
Overall, the hotel was nice and these trivial issues can be handled using nearby shopping.

convenience plus comfort

This hotel apartment suited our needs perfectly. We wanted to break the long journey home from Europe. The apartment was spacious meaning we were able to relax in comfort. There were many small restaurants and a mall within easy walking distance. It may not be the most glamorous hotel in Dubai but it certainly made the grade in terms of cost and comfort.

Apartment Hotel in Midle of Dubai

This hotel was in a quiet area. The hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly. We checked at (PM on Sunday night. April,the desk clerk, was very friendly. She greeted us with a fine smile, completed the check in process quickly. Our rooms were apartment rooms. Living room, bed room and the kitchen were large and clea. Bathroom was clean and was stocked with, towels, tissure roll, bath soap, lotion, etc. The hotel was three minutes away from Limcin Plaza Mall. The mall had food court with KFC, Pizza Hut, Subway and many local fod parlors. There were many restaurants near the mall such as Chillis

Overall, we were vey pleasd with the hotel, its staff, and the location.

In with the local

Located 5 to 10 minutes of tourist destinations makes it a great getaway. I always have enjoyed my stay here. After several visits, I am automatically given the larger suit upon arrival at no additional cost. The rooms are very large and the hotel offers a wonderful bowl of fruit (in the room) and a free drink at check-in. I will stay here again. There are four other apartment hotels but I have not been to them. After being here, I could not stay in a regular hotel and pay the same price.

I enjoyed my stay at Al Waleed. The hotel does not nickel and dime with extra fees like internet or printer services. Lamcy mall is around the corner and so is an american hospital. It is located near many restaurants. guests are welcomed as well.

Nice Hotel/Apt.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay and even got a nice upgrade to a one bedroom with a nice city view. Taxis were easy to find and hotel is in a nice central location. Metro station( train/tram) was a 10 minute walk, not far ,but seems long in the heat of Dubai.
