Everything good. Staff and the hotel were wonderful. Only downside was the allowance of to use their mobile phones in the swimming pool area and changing rooms. It was half term and the kids being allowed in the hot tub also was not right. . Allowing mobile phones in that area is not right at all

Nice hotel, liked the welcome cookie. Parking was a bit sparse and found it odd that I was out in a disabled room when this was not requested or required. I would have thought that a disabled room should be left available for those that may require it, and I certainly should have been told I have been allocated this room beforehand. Stayed in the “suite” room is nice and spacious. But the couches were so stained and dirty. The towels were all frizzled out on the edges hanging like strings from them. Not impressed as a 4star rated hotel with cleanliness. Breakfast was below average. Only saw people afterwards ordering omelettes. We were never made aware that was an option.

I have stayed at many Hilton’s but my experience at this one was really poor.

I was disappointed by the staff when I tried to order room service and was told it was not available. I made the journey back to the front desk asking for some ice. I was told they cannot get it for me and I should go to the bar. The same bar they are hosting a Christmas party at. The place looked like a carnival street party, no class. 2/3 members of staff vs a small bar space. trying to serve disorganised drunks with no manners or decorum. People pushing in. I had to wait 15 mins for ice?? What a joke.

To top it off. One idiot next door has his alarm going off at very early hours, probs left the room and it went on for 45 mins despite me messaging the manager to sort it out. She didn’t even reply.

Only saving grace is the rooms were up to double tree standards. Staff definitely were not.

We arrived to find that our reservation had not been amended as promised following my contact with Hotels.com on Tuesday. On arrival, the hotel staff could not locate our booking, and it took 15 minutes—plus me producing a receipt—to confirm it, after we had already driven an hour to get there.
The suite we had been assured was still available was, in fact, no longer offered, and we were downgraded. As an apology, the hotel provided complimentary breakfast and two bottles of Coca-Cola.
I cannot fault the young lady at reception, who did her best to help and was apologetic throughout. However, the room itself raised concerns. The window on the fifth floor was broken, with the handle practically hanging off, leaving it unsecured—a clear safety risk. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities: no coffee sachets, only two glasses with no mugs for tea or coffee, and no bottled water provided.
Overall, while the staff member was courteous and tried to resolve matters, the experience was disappointing and fell short of the standards expected, both in terms of reservation management and room safety.

A chicken burger and a pint of fizzy drink to the room = £40, Additional cost for Parking beside a Motorway this is not a City Centre, charge non overnight guests if you need to but if your staying overnight you shouldn’t pay to park in this type of location. Brilliant experience at the double tree in Dartford, staff were pleasant, hotel is in great condition and was super comfortable, I would definitely book to go again. The afternoon tea was lovely, my family enjoyed and the bar staff serving were very attentive to our needs. The in house restaurant was such pleasure to be in.

Second time staying at the hotel due to the customer service, location and the room size suitable to family of four. The receptionist that welcome us had great customer service and the kids wanted to give him a 10 star. The breakfast staffs were lovely but breakfast itself was basic and no variety no option for vegetarians either. Coffee machines need to be replenished at all times as on 2 separate days chocolate powder ran out and only had 2 options for juices and they run out pretty fast so shouldn’t be the case because it’s a busy peak period so need to have stuck available but was told they are waiting for delivery. Restaurant Menu was also basic and pricy so wasn’t able to eat in the hotel just ordering takeaway daily. Swimming pool doesn’t get cleaned regularly because there were same items/particles in the water for 2 days straight.

Checkin Staff member needs additional training - he mumbled words when asked question about going for a swim. He didn't charge me for parking when he asked me to enter my car. Good thing I asked about it at checkout otherwise I would have received a fine.

The room itself and facilities were good but the service left a lot to be desired. The reception staff were extremely unhelpful, our room wasn’t cleaned despite staying for 2 nights and we had to negotiate with the front of house to get it cleaned. Despite being out all day, when we returned the front desk sent a cleaner up when we were getting ready for dinner and requested we leave the room so they could clean it. It was just a total joke and ruined what was a decent hotel for a short stay. We also requested robes and slippers to go to and from the spa facilities with and they said they didn’t offer these yet we saw multiple guests with them. Really disappointing.

Air conditioning is hit and miss depending on the room you are staying in, only 1 lift working currently and staircases between floors poorly signed

Terrible stay

Air con was not working. Called the staff to fix it but they never came to have a look. Room temperature was 26 degrees, couldn’t sleep for all night, soaking in sweat. Really dissappointed

The first room 521 had a leaking ceiling and second room air con was faulty and kept turning to high fab at 28 degrees so it was like a sauna. We were offered a fan bit fan did not blow out cold air snd was faulty. Evie the manager was made aware and replied at 3am.

The key to a lot of people’s room was not working. So you needed a staff member to take you back and forth and that meant waiting sometimes. It was very annoying. However, it was not a bad place to stay. Spacious room and I liked the swim pool

Check in was quick and easy but our room key didn’t work which was frustrating having to go back to get that sorted.
The mattress was quite hard and the pillows very flat, just not to our comfort, but everyone’s different. The room was very spacious and clean.
For the standard of the hotel it’s a real shame the coffee available in the room was very low standard instant coffee. Would have expected a small coffee machine in the room, but as they have a paid for coffee machine in reception that seems a money making trade off.
The pool area was great and a very nice addition to the stay.

Worst 4* I’ve stayed at with no robes could bite ant £12.50 per robe. No room slippers. air conditioning was not working had get fans, pool staff were rude. Children wanted to leave. Had to pay for water £2.50 per small bottle.

Our stay with 3 children was amazing. The Queen bed room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The children couldn't stop gasping at how great the room was as well as the softness of the pillows and bed. Even though we only stayed for one night to attend a birthday parry in the hotel on the Friday, the experience was top notch and we would be back for sure.
Also, great breakfast that's absolutely worthy of the additional price. There are great full English options. My children don't always enjoy hotel breakfast but they couldn't stop going for more as things like tje scrambled egg was a great noble meal.

Very underwhelming for the price we paid, and for the Hilton brand. The pool area didn't look like it had been cleaned for weeks and was very run down. The breakfast was far from fresh and quite limited on hot food. I had to put in an order for vegetarian sausages, they came out over cooked and stone cold, which reflected the rest of the food.

I liked that as i had forgotten to bring a wash cloth i was able to ask for a wash cloth and it was delivered to my room dinner of fish and chips on the first night was delicious and a generous portion however we chose to use uber eats as we didn't see anything else on the menu that we fancied for dinner overall we'll definitely visit again many thanks to the staff for making our visit very pleasant

On arrival the carpark notices displayed astronomical fees and only in small print said that these did not apply to guests.
Checking in the machines to make the room keys did not work so we had to be escorted to our room to be let in. This took a while as one of the lifts wasn't working.
Although we booked a double room for 2 people there was only one towel in the bathroom, one bathrobe and one camomile tea bag.
We requested a second bath robe but it never arrived

The room was large and the bed was comfortable

The lift was broken. We didn’t get our room card, we always had to go to the reception to get someone assist us to our rooms as they have informed us . We also had to pay £10 for pay for parking ! So if we had stayed for more than 5 days that would have been £50-£60! On just parking! Breakfast was overpriced and was average . Our room didn’t have two towels and a robe. I had to contact reception for this and it took them 3 hours to bring this. Overall very dissatisfied, poor service , very inconvenient
