I was allocated a Disabled Room on Arrival, after 30 minutes I was then allocated a standard room, then at approximately 11pm someone entered my room with a door key and said that it was his room. After another 30 minutes had passed the receptionist was banging on our door saying why are you in this room.

I would like a full refund for this stay as I did not sleep all night and had a 4 hour journey in the morning

Very easy check in/check out, plenty of parking, very close to the A2 (which you can't hear because the hotel is quiet and well soundproofed. Nice staff and a comfy stay, next to a Co-Op for essential snacks/food, and seemingly tennis/football pitches being built next door (not sure if hotel guests will be able to use them, but worth noting!). A great stay at very competitive prices; we'll be stopping here again on trips down to cross-Channel ferries or Eurotunnel.

The room was clean, warm witha comfy bed. Tea and coffee facilities in room with a basket of tea and coffee sachets at reception if you need more.
Only issue was that the shower wasnt the best, not very strong flow and didnt stay hot for long.

Also, it would be good if you could get plates and cutlery for takeaways in the hotel rather than having to walk over to the restaurant.

Also, the towels always smell like paint. It’s like the laundry is adding a small amount of white paint to their process.

This was a really difficult one to rate. We specifically like that this room had a sofa bed, but there were no linens or blankets provided for that, and when we asked at reception, they seemed bewildered as to why we would ask for something like that. Eco-friendliness was top notch; you needed to insert your key into a reader into the wall to activate the power, and they collect recyclables at the end of your stay. Tea kettle and tea bags/instant coffee were provided. The parking lot is big, and parking was included. There is a family restaurant/pub associated with the hotel, and the food for dinner was really good. Luckily we didn’t pre-pay for breakfast, as the one time we tried it, it was pretty bad. The hotel chain website advertises “cooked to order” as well as continental options, but this place was doing a buffet that was… not good. We went once and regretted it. The location was good if you’re exploring with a car or needing to use the train. I can’t really think of anything else to say. It was completely average. But, if you’re going to have a sofa/trundle bed, please include the linens for it, or at least make them available at the desk.

This property does what it says on the tin. Comfortable stay and clean rooms however a bit outdated. We got a room on the ground floor facing out to the car park and it was loud (not the traffic just general noise from the car park - people chatting right outside our window). I would request staying further up. Our tv remote didn’t work but this was rectified during our stay. Overall all ok but it is just a 3 star hotel - nothing special.

Room was a good size for 4 people. Cockroach seen in one of the two rooms. No iron in room. No laundry facilities located onsite. Breakfast was good at restaurant associated with hotel but we needed to pay extra for it. Lobby has a door that locks if you don’t have your room key. The door was annoying especially with kids who don’t all have keys. It didn’t seem like a dangerous area so seemed unnecessary and annoyance for guests.

I recently stayed at the Springs River Hotel in Ebbsfleet and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The room was spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning was a welcome touch—especially during the warmer evenings. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from check-in to check-out.

One of the highlights was the adjoining pub, which made grabbing breakfast and evening meals super convenient. The food was tasty, and it was nice not having to venture far after a long day. For the price, the hotel offers excellent value, especially considering the amenities and location.

There were a couple of minor drawbacks: the mattress was quite firm, which might not suit everyone’s preference, and there was a bit of dust due to nearby construction. However, these didn’t overshadow the overall comfort and convenience of the stay.

If you’re looking for a well-priced, friendly place to stay in Ebbsfleet with good food options and clean, cool rooms, Springs River Hotel is a solid choice.
