I chose the property because it had a heated pool and spa. Unfortunately the spa was not working and the heating did not seem to be on in the pool.

Property was great. Staff were very kind, only minor complaint is that pool area was mediocre. We stayed in June so possibly not pool season for selling we’re Canadian and kids were excited for pool, but it and spa were pretty dirty -lots of bugs and leafs. I suspect it’s in better shape summer season when more than the odd Canadian use the area :) rooms were clean and well stocked.

East on Byron was perfect for our family of four. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Amenities and the pool were fantastic. Wished they hired bikes as the walk was probably a tad too long for our liking. Walking on the beach was fine when the tide was out but otherwise we had to walk on the street. We eventually hired bikes from the main street and rode them everywhere, which was much more convenient. Treehouse next door was a fantastic venue for food and drinks. Belongil beach at the door step was just glorious.

Nice large apartment. Good location and condition. Quiet and relaxing. Would stay again. Has everything you need. There are stairs to access, so not great for prams or wheelchairs. Garage and carport which is nice. It was really cold at night, slept with 2 jumpers in early May.
Could have done with two towels for the shower rather than one. Bit of a pain you have to take your rubbish out at the end of your stay when you’re juggling kids, but that’s part of the rules. Overall great experience.

Restaurants right outside, nice walk to the main beach or you can just walk straight down to the bengali beach. Night life is really good and everything is near by. Definitely recommend for families.

Booked through Expedia in October for a December/January four night peak stay. Paid in full and had all relevant receipts and confirmation details which were correct. Arrived to be told that the reservation could not be honoured and they did not have a room for us! Reservation was visible on their Expedia portal but did not translate to their internal booking system.
Thankfully Ian was so helpful in finding us alternate accommodation in the busiest week of the year but had there been nothing available we would have been on a flight home!

Big and spacious but clearly not cleaned. A bit disappointing as it’s a serviced apartment so they give you the keys and that’s the last you see of them.. Covered in sand and long hairs so not great to enter somewhere that you’re staying for 3 days and find mess from previous guests. Neither bathrooms had exhaust fans that worked so it was like showering in a sauna unless you left the bathroom door open. Very dated tv did have some Foxtel channels which was nice but tv was so old you couldn’t use a memory stick or other device on it. Laundry door was broken. Just an unloved property unfortunately. Expensive per night in off season so we expected a little more..

We had a lovely enjoyable stay in the 3 bedroom penthouse above reception. A note to consider - if you like to sleep in a dark room, I suggest you bring something to cover the windows, as the shutters do not block out the light, so it is very bright, very early. This did not bother us however as we have young children who are up early - but may others who are looking for a sleep in.

The location to the beach - access is directly across the road is fantastic and having two options right outside the accommodation for meals was great.

Nice place opposite belongil beach. Perfect pool to chill out at. Tiny bathrooms though and a few things were about to kark it such as bathroom racks about to fall off its hinges and a shelf in the kitchen. Overall a pleasant stay.

The place is in a lovely part of Byron away from the busy part. There are two lovely cafes nearby to grab a bite or a coffee and the beach is just across the road.

Loved the location and how lovely our villa was. The bed was super comfy and I loved the shower. The heated spa was lovely and we would definitely be back to stay here next time.

Only con I would say was there were tons of mozzies and we got bitten so much, just wished there were insect screen which prevented them from coming in the villa when we opened our doors.

Byron still has the vibe

As visitors to Byron for around 40 years we still love the vibe. East on Byron was a very comfortable base to enjoy the local attractions. Friendly staff - thanks to Ian and Ryan.
Being across the road from Belongil beach was convenient ( despite our daughter getting a bluebottle sting).
The Treehouse was fun for dinner a couple of nights and the cafe was good for lunches.
Overall a very pleasant stay in one of our fave places.

The proximity to beach was perfect, just walk back barefoot to your apartment when you get hungry, then head back over! We could also still walk into town if you wanted but it was out of the hustle and bustle of the town, it had great cafe out front so you could grab a morning coffee and sit by the pool while the children swam; great spacious living area so the whole family could chill in the air conditioning after a long day at the beach without crowding each other. This is the second time we have been and plan to go back again for sure!

Absolutely glorious and relaxing stay at the quiet end of town. Stones throw from beautiful Belongil Beach where I walked each morning in my slippers and PJs to watch the sun rise. Walk along the beach to town, dip in the pool, walk two steps to lovely cafe and restaurant. Will definitely be back. Very clean and fresh apartments. Loved it, thankyou!

Pleasant stay despite the rain

I wanted to do something special to celebrate a \"milestone\" birthday. It was great that we had a lovely place to stay at East on Byron as it rained most of the weekend. The Villa we had was very comfortable, well appointed and clean with pool views and a terrace. Great location across the road from the beach, sufficiently far away from busy Byron CBD yet within walking distance, especially nice going via the beach.

Reception close at 5pm we arrived at 11pm with 2 kids (6 years old) and the owner refused to open!!!! Nothing was specified on your website about the opening hours of the reception.
But Hotels.com asia was great on this situation you find us another hotel that was excellent Elements on Byron. Thank you for that.

The place was lovely and a nice space for hanging out if the weather isn't great. Open plan living area and nice bedrooms and baths.
Just across from the beach with easy public access. Nice restaurant just in front and a pub 1 block down. The main town of Byron is about a 20 minute walk on the beach. We loved it!

We stayed in East on Byron for four nights. It is a really nice apartment/hotel in a great location. It has a lovely pool and it is just a short walk to the beach. Byron itself is a busy town so it suited us to be iabout a five minute drive from town as it was a quieter location.

The accommodation was fine, but to be honest, my expectation from the photos online was more. Not as spacious as anticipated.
Also. the WiFi was very poor and the shower leaked badly.
I know Byron Bay is expensive, have had better value for money at other locations on the North Coast.

We stayed in one of the penthouses which had everything you need, and so much room which is great for families. It’s a great place to stay if you want to be close to the town but not in the middle of all the hustle & bustle, and a short walk to the beach. The staff at the residence were lovely and happy to accomodate guests and their needs. I would definitely stay again although more cautious of the booking system. The room rate for a 3 bedroom apartment changed when we added 2 children and was charged extra. I had booked a 3 bedroom apartment/penthouse for 2 adults & 2 children then charged an extra person fee for the 2 children. I’m still confused about how this happened and the price changed and never really got to the bottom of it. Overall it’s a beautiful place and I would stay again.

It was a nice place, 3 bed rooms, outdoor pool for our use. Found it a bit weird that the tv was small and they had a DVD for use. You had to get movies from the main office but the main office is only open until 5:00pm and 3:00 pm on Sundays.

Close to the beach, couple great restaurants close by. Weather was great.

Is about as far away from the center of the town and lighthouse as you can get. You can either walk the beach to get into town or drive and park. We often drove as we were usually getting food or going to the lighthouse.
