They wanted to charge us for the sauna and swimming pool facilities, which they call it “spa”. However none of that was mentioned on the hotels.com listing. There’s no fridge in the room, which was a huge problem for us as some food needs to stay in the fridge. And the bathroom door was hollow, so it’s basically useless

I had a great stay at this hotel! The service was exceptional from start to finish. Big shout-out to Jay and Estelle for going above and beyond — they were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.

Room was very clean. Staff super friendly and helpful, all spoke excellent English which was a huge help. Only downside is the bathroom door is a wooden panel that slides across. It didn’t offer much privacy. Great location just seconds aware from Gare De L’est. Breakfast is a good selection of food.

I only stayed one night for a quick overnight in Paris. If you need to be near the Gare de L'Est or Gare Du Nord, it is a great option. The room was small yet comfy, the space was well utilized. I would definitely come back.

This is a 10 min walk from Gare du nord or one stop away on the metro. It cost me €7 in a taxi to get from the Eurostar to the hotel, I got the metro back which is €2.50.
The area is quite busy with lots of restaurants, cafes, shops etc, all within walking distance. The entrance to the metro station is literally outside the front door which is really handy.
The hotel is really beautiful and clean and the girls on the desk were very helpful. Shower was amazing and toiletries provided. Had a chair right near the window so you can open them up wide and watch the streets below while reading. There was two sets of windows so when they were both closed you couldn’t hear a thing from outside. Bed was comfortable and clean. There is a swimming pool but I didn’t have time to use it. Staff did knock the first day to ask if I would like it cleaned but I didn’t need it as only there for 3 days so they advised me to hang the DND on the handle so I wouldn’t be disturbed, which I wasn’t but I did ask for more coffee etc which they provided. You get asked to pay an €50 deposit when you arrive, this was refunded back into my bank the evening I checked out. All in all I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again.

The staff so friendly and the breakfast worth it. I wish they could allow the tv to have at least a YouTube feature, it will be great. You’re kinda forced to head out, because the TV options aren’t great. But would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location for a short stay, particularly if you're traveling on by train. The staff was very friendly and helpful!! The room was functional but small. We were only there for 3 nights so it worked well for us but may have been cramped for a longer stay. Would definitely recommend for short stays.

The location of this hotel is very convenient as a base for exploring Paris. It is right outside the Gare de L'est station, which is connected to several Metro lines too. There are many buses that stop right outside the hotel too.
The staff were friendly, helpful and professional and the service was impressive all round. I used the Spa for an additional fee of €30 for a 45 minute booked slot (Jan 2025) which was a lovely amount of time to relax, unwind and do a little swimming. The fitness area is free of charge to use I believe, I did not use it myself.
I was able to store my baggage with the hotel after I arrived early on the Eurostar to Gare du Nord, as its only a short walk or 1 stop on the Metro to the Hotel.
Right next to the hotel are several authentic cafes and small shops, there are less tourists overall in this part of the city, but with the great connections it felt more authentic. The breakfast was lovely, buffet but felt freshly prepared and a great selection of continental options.
The room was well laid out to not feel cramped, the windows opening helped as the aircon was centrally controlled. Noise was at a minimum in the evenings with the windows shut, and the room was cleaned well each day.
I will definitely be thinking of Hotel Este on my next trip to Paris.

Overall my stay at hotel este was great. I enjoyed the pool, room service, and the sound proof rooms very much. The location was great and very convenient. I did not try their brunch while staying but their options looked great.

This hotel was absolutely amazing from the service to the rooms and a lovely spa area. They have very spacious rooms and the birthday package was nice too.
The local area to the hotel looked like something from Top Boy but was only around a 20 minutes walk to the Louvre which wasn’t too bad.
I would highly recommend this hotel. If it was located closer to the main attractions then it would most likely cost far far more for what you get.

I loved how modern and sleek this hotel was. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was really nice. We stayed in the Deluxe room which had plenty of space. If I HAD to complain about something it would be lack of bathroom counter space but the room really was great. I did hear other guests complaining about how small the regular rooms were though. We didn’t eat there or use the spa cause we were out and about so I can’t speak to those things. The metro station is literally right in front of the hotel which was very very convenient. I definitely would stay here again if I went back to Paris.

The hotel is right across from the gare de l’Est, which is why we selected it.(We travel to the Grand Est from Paris.) It is new, clean, modern and nicely decorated. Our superior room had a lot of space, including a good size bathroom.Next time, I think we will try the deluxe room recommended by the front desk. All of the staff is professional and extremely nice and courteous.

Hotel Este was wonderful!! Service, cleanliness, space was modern, bed and pillows very comfortable, water pressure excellent, and great air conditioning. Metro stop is steps outside front door of hotel - and across the street from La Gare de l’Est train station. I highly recommend and look forward to my next visit already.

Close to 2 major rail stations for convenience but in an area with many cheap hotels, Hotel Este is a rare find. New rooms and incredibly quiet in the noisiest part of Paris! Staff were very helpful and empathetic to weary travelers.

Love this Hotel Este a lot. We loved the view from our window. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Pool and Sauna experience was very aesthetic. The room size was small but there was everything we needed. Metro station is right in front of the hotel entrance. Many shops and restaurants nearby hotel. We would go back to this hotel in next trip to Paris. Highly recommended.

My stay was enjoyable overall, with a lovely room featuring a charming terrace. The property maintained a high standard of cleanliness, and the service was generally satisfactory. However, my experience was marred by the inability to access heating in the midst of winter. Despite two calls for assistance, I initially received an additional comforter instead of heat, exacerbating my frustration as the room remained colder than the outdoor temperature. Eventually, after expressing my discomfort, I was assured that heating would be provided. Thissss place is stunning, from the outside you are not able to tell the oasis that is waiting for you in the inside. For a Parisian room it was quite spacious which included a few steps that separated the bed from the shower and toilet. I was just in awe with the way the room was laid out. I think the highlight is the staff, it was nice to see people that I could relate too and that spoke English working there. They really go above for their guest. Not to mention the train station is LITERALLY at the doorstep with a couple stops to Eurostar. 10 outta 10, I would recommend this place.

Beautiful hotel, modern, minimalist, and cozy. My room was facing the busy street, thought it would be a bother but the room had double windows so it wasn't no bother at all. The staff are super helpful and nice. They rotate shifts, and each person is cool. The only thing I had trouble with was the hotel entrance door, it locks so you have to press the button at the same time as opening the door. A staff member let me know. Another thing I learned was that the hotel key could not be close to a phone for so long, I had mine close to my phone in my fanny pack and was not able to open my room door. But overall experience was amazing, in the hotel and with the staff. Highly recommend it.

Great hotel, I really enjoyed my stay there. This hotel is relative new and put together very well. The staff are a credit to the hotel and all of them are very friendly and professional. Virgil and Raquel deserve a special mention. The area is very central, next to the Gare de l'Est Station.
My only issues were the breakfast did not have many options if you didn't eat pork. The should offer fish or turkey options. You have to pay extra to use the pool and only get 45 minutes, which I don't think is a great policy. Other than those 2 issues a really good hotel and no bed bugs!
