I didn't like the fact that we were on the second floor and the whole time we was there the elevator didn't work. So if you had laundry or groceries you had to make multiple trips up and down the stairs. they only clean the room once a week and you have to go to the front office to get your new towels and toilet paper.

I have never worked so damn hard on a getaway like I did in Houston and Biloxi. The owners of these properties needs to be ashamed of themselves changing people for the filthy.I had to clean the refrigerator stove,showers,sinks,floors, microwave etc. I was not able to kick my shoes off and relax like most people get to do. I cleaned the whole room until midnight. They made a big deal about checking in 30mins early. But when you walk in the rooms are gross. I felt like I was in a third world country. Windows didn't work. You couldn't see out the windows. Shut the place down. A deposit for what they should have paid me for cleaning the joint. Bad experience wasted my money 💰 🤑

The shower water was leaking, water dripping very loud all day long .
We are 4 people , they left only 2 big towels and 2 small towels , so we have to share 1 big towel with 2 people, and we have to bring the used towels to the office to exchange for the same amount of used towels each time we need the new clean towels .
We also had 2 small thin soap bars , it was all we had .

Stove, microwave, refrigerator, working great .electric outlets not good for charging anything falling out the wall actually there was only 2 outlets buzzing didnt sound good dont think it should do that though. The phone was a joke looked like a 1990s office work phone too many buttons period that didnt work and where missing.. no charging cable ,cord for the phone jack found it underneath the bed didnt even work sad

Horrible manager asked me about changing rooms because of my complaint. I said no not right now due to being half asleep. Then the next day before i paid for my room around 9 or 10am i asked and was told no you would have to check out then check back in in 4 hours.

Every single piece of furniture in the room was either broken, damaged or missing pieces. I can’t believe they actually had the nerve to rent that room to someone. Shameful. The only good thing about the room was that it was clean.
But, it was supposed to be non-smoking and smelled of cigarette smoke and had burns on the nightstand from a cigarette.

First and for most important one chain smokers heavy smokers everywhere, they are smoking inside their rooms and outside at the walkways and Surrounding your room , so even if your room says it is None Smoker room it still smells and have a heavy Smoke effect, i couldn't sleep in my room so i checked out the 2nd day , i was feelings sick ! And the management/employees they know about it and Dont do/say anything about it because their long term stay customers are single old Man and women with disabilities heavy Smokers and they stay there they dont have a place to live.

Very poor, I would not recommend to anyone

I was unable to check in, once I arrived the entire place was dark, not one light. I was not able to find the front office. I called and called and got no answer. I don’t understand why a hotel would allow people in a stressful situation like having suffered a traumatic experience to book a room knowing there was no power. I have yet to speak to anyone and no one has offered me a refund for my money.

The property had no power after Hurricane Beryl. The only reason I booked a room was to escape from the blistering Houston heat after our home was also left with no power. I would not have booked this if I had known the place had no power. Obviously, we didn’t stay. I’m awaiting a refund.

On my second night there, a transformer had blown so we lost power in our room, no A/C or lights. They refused to refund me for my room and still haven’t refunded me the $50 deposit they took for the room! We left that night as I have a 4 month old and 4 yr old so we couldn’t be without electricity or A/C in this heat! They told me it’s not their fault it’s the cities so they couldn’t refund me, even though I left around 8pm (waited 2 hours to see if the problem was going to be fixed first).

This property has roaches, and gnats. I got a non smoking room that reeked of cigarettes. Curtains had holes in them as well as the chairs in the room. Paint was peeling off of the walls, cabinets, doors, etc. The only things that were even slightly upgraded were the fridges and microwave, but the environment itself makes you steer clear of even eating or storing food in the room. I didn’t use anything in this room, not even the shower, I barely used the toilet after attempting to hold my bladder . Honestly the whole experience with this property was pure cringe. This place is inhumane

The Property was very run down. The rooms were very dirty. The door did not even close properly, we were unable to lock the door the entire stay. The bathroom was very dirty and the door in the bathroom would also not close. We went downstairs to the property manager to ask for clean towels And a remote control as there were none in the room and we were only given one towel. We had to wait a long time to even speak to anyOne, finally when someone came to the desk, they were very rude to everyone who was there. Also, If you have any type of allergies, do not stay at this property. As the whole entire property smell like smoke, cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke.

They have floors but elevator is not working. As pregnant, I had to climb up to 3rd floor. Stairs are very dark without lights. Room is also very dark even with lights. The room door is shaky and doesn’t feel secured/safe even with lock on. Bathroom door couldn’t close properly. It’s supposed to be non-smoking room, it smells very bad inside the room. Blanket has holes on it, not sure if they washed/changed it. Noise canceling is not good either. I can hear people chatting outside, and cars drive by very loud. Will not come back again.

Arrived to check in at property and is run down. Pictures are way outdated of exterior. At check in I was told their washer was broke and our beds had no covers or pillows. I told them to cancel my reservation. Called expedia and had them refund my money. Good thing I prepaid based on other reviews I probably would not have gotten my money back without sueing them. Will never stay at any Red Roof looking at reviews of their other properties. Their 1-800 number was no help at all. Spend a little more and get a room at a better chain.

Her facial expressions confirms she has some some personal struggles. And one she had some mixed up with another person and caused an entire scene very negative environment. My Stay was Horrible. The upkeep was bad as well. The first room that I was given had a bashed in Flat screen tv on the wall. The 2nd room given had absolutely NO CURTAIN at the window. It took almost 30 minutes for the Front Desk clerk to bring one up. The floors were unmopped and the shower was dirty. The sides of the Commode was filthy and the stove didn't work, last but not least the Elevator was Out of Order. I Definitely WOULD NOT recommend this Hotel to stay at.

The place is old and rundown. It is a more of an apartment complex than a hotel due to long term residents. The room was clean, but the rest of the place was dirty, trash littered the hallways and it smelled of urine. People sat in the stairways smoking and blocking the way. They also required that I pay a $100 deposit in cash even though the room had been reserved and paid for through Expedia.No one was ever at the front desk and the main door to the office was locked. You had to ring a bell in the front and then walk to the side and deal with them through a window.

There were cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom, the room smelled musty, the doors and walls had all kinds of dirty stains all over it, and some guys were repairing their car and yelling until 5am. Security did nothing. I was certainly not going to speak to them and put myself in jeopardy. It was like being in the hood. Never again.

The stay at this hotel was interesting. I felt that I was a staying in a ghetto place when I first met the receptionist. She was behind glass window and I was outside. This is probably normal due to Covid. This place does have an elevator, but there's dog pees and trash everywhere. They don't seem to have good cleaning maintenance on their property. Very disgusting. Finally the room they had wasn't well cleaned. It had leftover food and drinks from the last tenant. It's like they gave me a room without doing any cleaning. So wrong. Makes be question whether they even clean anything at all.

I would pick somewhere else.

The experience at this hotel was horrible. The room had an overall smell, like a mildewy smell. The water wasn't working either it was too hot or wasn't hot enough and the rooms didn't really have a drain. This hotel also had roaches and my husband had to go buy some raid spray to kill them.

The room was filthy. Looks like it has not ever been cleaned properly. There were roaches and tiny blood spots on blankets. I normally do not leave negative reviews, if I do not like something I just won’t return but the filth in this case was especially egregious. Walls, floors, door handles all had obvious stains. It’s just unacceptable for humans to stay there. Very disappointed. Will never return.
