Can't complain about the price but the place was rough lol. The breakfast was just snacks laid out and the pool was closed but all I wanted was a place to sleep so it met that. The lobby reeked of Marijuana but not the rooms.

We were in town for the world baseball classic and for the Houston livestock show rodeo. To our surprise when we arrived at the hotel, they said that what we had booked was not available. They mentioned that this app seems to do this quite often where they allow bookings of rooms with two beds when there are none available. The woman at the counter did offer to provide blowup mattresses. We declined because we didn’t not want to sleep on the floor and the hotel grounds were pretty sketchy. It did take us a while to find a different hotel that wasn’t booked due to the events happening in the city. Do not stay here if you don’t want to arrive and have nowhere to stay.

I hardly ever give any reviews but this time im going to give my review on this jotel chain so initially i book my stay at the 2425 W Sam Houston Prkwy. I book there for the convenience but its been twice they send me to the other location on 3200 Westheimer Rd. Its not much of a difference but this was the second time I dont know if it because we are a damily of 5 and maybe they dont want children. Also their elecator wasnt working having an infant can be difficult to get around. But other than that my stay was decent. Could have been better.

I originally booked the location at Westchase, but they didn't have a room when i arrived and sent me to their "sister property" on Richmond. This location didn't have breakfast as advertised on the listing. There was a roach in the sink and one on the floor. The room was in terrible condition. There were holes and improperly repaired drywall holes in the wall. The bathroom sink faucet was corroded. There wasn't an ice machine available.

Horrible Experience!!! Unsanitary Room and Unprofessional Service
I am beyond frustrated with my recent experience at this hotel. I booked a deluxe studio at the Extended Stay America Suites, but upon arrival, I was told that my room wasn’t available and was moved to a different location just a few minutes down the road. What followed was one of the most disgusting and unsafe hotel stays I’ve ever had.
The room was in appalling condition:
Roaches on the bed and in the bathroom, which is completely unacceptable.
Stained carpets that made it clear the room hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while.
Multiple non-functional lights made the room feel even more uncomfortable.
The bathroom door wouldn’t lock, and the shower was leaking, causing water damage and making the room even more unsanitary and unsafe.
I immediately asked the front desk for a refund or to be moved to another room, but they refused, stating they couldn’t do anything due to policies set by Expedia. After contacting Expedia, I was told the hotel wasn’t willing to make any exceptions, despite the disgusting state of the room.
This is not just about a bad stay, it’s about a lack of professionalism and care for the safety and comfort of guests. I never even stayed in the room because it was uninhabitable, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m still requesting for a refund, but it’s clear that this hotel doesn’t take customer satisfaction seriously.
Avoid this place at all costs.

As you enter the hallway from the lobby, you can immediately smell the noxious odor of weed. The first room we were assigned to was not cleaned and contained a lot of painting materials. The next room had no sofa bed contrary to what was advertised. I tried asking the front staff if the room could be furnished with the sofa bed as there were 4 of us. However, the staff just took note and did not make a single effort to call maintenance. Further, the room did not smell fresh when my family came in. Only two pillows were provided for all four of us.
Certainly, “you get what you pay for”. I will never book with this hotel again.

Nowhere was it noted prior to booking, nor was I contacted by management after they received and confirmed my already paid for booking, THAT THEY HAD NO WORKING ELEVATOR, NO LOWER FLOOR VACANCIES, NO VACANCIES AT ANY OF THE OTHER NEARBY LOCATIONS AND, THAT I WAS ON THE 4TH FLOOR! And I have a handicap placard on my vehicle. I couldn't cancel because I wasn't informed prior to the check in time.
I have spinal stenosis, and need a knee replacement. My partner had to navigate four flights of stairs to carry our belongings a few items at a time. She's small. I noticed that certain doors leading into the building were blocked open with a rock so that people staying on that end of the building could enter and exit. Since there was no working elevator, there was no need to traverse such a long distance to exit and enter by the secure entrance and exit of the check out desk. Not a very safe building! God forbid any kind of emergency takes place. I will be seeking a return of some, if not all of my money.

I asked for a smoke free room, and this one is not!! The elevator was not working and my room is on the 4th floor! Big room and small tv, and the springs on the bed is horrible like a jail cell and the sheets and entire room smells like smoke! I need a refund as I am trying to make the best of it!

The stay was horrible. We had reservations for 3 adults there was no mattress on the sofa couch so 3 adults had to squeeze in one bed and the receptionist was no help and had no solution. We wve had to go buy our own cover and roaces was everywhere. I will not be recommending this place. I will be contacting corporate. Plus the website doesn't let you upload your pictures.

Unfortunately, my expectation of this Suite was not met. In my room there were three bulbs missing from three lamps, so lighting was limited. Also, there were roaches in the room which really disgusted me. The elevator smelled like smoke and there were some interesting characters in and about the property while I was there. Also, loud music was playing at times down the hallway from a guest room, kids crying, and someone was setting off fireworks outside which sounded like gunshots. I never spent a single night at the hotel that I paid for; my trip was from Feb 17th - 19th. I never stayed the first night and actually checked out on the 18th, a day early. I just felt too uncomfortable, I should have read the reviews from previous guest, so that was my fault. I really was expecting something different based on the photos, but I got everything I did not want. Sorry Extended Stay, but this was disappointing.

Due to the smell inside the property and in the room, my son got breathing issues and cough, we did not even check in and have to cancel the stay immediately at the counter and leave the hotel. It was a terrible experience overall as there were people smoking illegal drugs around there and room smelled really bad of smoke and cigars. Very unhealthy and caused breathing issues.
I am asking for full refund from Orbitz since we did not even check into the hotel and had to cancel due to health concerns

It was very very filthy. Roaches everywhere. And i mean i kill 10-15 a day roaches a day and im out most of the day. I also reported a broken phone the first 5 mins i was there and they said they would fix it. Until I left a week later it never got fixed. I would have left that first day, but I paid and there was no refund. I moved over to the Fairfield next door and spent the rest of my stay there. Much better, cleaner, No Roaches and free breakfast.

Travelocity and Extended Stay America should be embarrassed by this property and remove it from listings immediately. The hotel is filthy with stained and torn carpets, heavy odors of smoke and curry throughout the building, roaches in closets and cabinets, stoves not working at all, refrigerator will not cool, no extra linens available for the extra pullout bed in the suite, building occupied by more homeless families than travelling guests, hairdryer in bathroom broken, low water pressure in shower, flooring in bathroom separated away from tub edge and lined with what appeared to be mildew/mold, only one way access/egress from very busy service road because second entrance is chained closed, elevator had trash and cigarette butts on floor, bathroom door is warped and did not close, staff at front desk are slow to respond to customers at desk and appear disinterested in their job, the only extra chair in the room had cracked and torn naugahyde, and the surrounding area appears to be a high crime and police/EMS response area due to the continual presence of law enforcement and fire/EMS vehicles responding with sirens throughout the night.
This was probably the worst hotel location I have visited ever. Future travelers should avoid this location and this chain entirely. DO NOT book at this hotel.

this hotel room that I booked to fit our party of six was not available when we arrived, I was offered another room that would only accommodate 4 people, I was stranded in Houston with my husband & 4 children with nowhere to stay, had to pick a different random hotel & pay double the price.
I can't rate anything besides the staff that gave my room away, & the exterior and lobby because we couldn't stay there.

Very dirty, the key doors never worked and some of the staff was very rude. After two nights we finally got some clean linens and extra pillows for the pull out sofa. There was no towels in the bathroom, we found them wet,smelly, and dirty in the closet. The floors were so sticky and filthy, my white socks went in the trash after that.

I give this hotel a ZERO star. I’ll tell you why. Horrible experience, extremely dirty and smelly. Very old amenities, ripped couch and shower head didn’t work. I also had a broken light in my room. Cockroaches came from the bathroom. And my kids were terrified.

I would not recommend anyone stay in this hotel. This was my first and will be my last time staying with Extended Stay of American. I booked 3 nights there, but I couldn’t even stay 1 night. No one could sleep because the room is so stinky. I moved out the next morning and forfeited my stay.

I booked on Travelocity during the storms in Houston and got a confirmation. But when I showed up for my reservation 30 minutes later, they were CLOSED. But they CHARGED ME!!!!!!!!!

Checking in was a breeze and the staff were attentive and friendly however there is a serious roach infestation there and that grossed us out. I'm taking into account that people live here and that's reason pest control should be taken more seriously. For this reason I will not stay here again. I have video and pictures of the roaches.

Dislike The housekeeper service is ,1 housekeeper and wellbeing of how the sofa bed mattress protector wasnt clean and no sheets and the queen size mattress protector wasnt zipped up and the sheets had stains on them.comforter had an oil smell.but the front desk staff gave us new sheets and conforter that was replaced by us.
