Nice quiet property not too far from the built up Grace Bay Shopping and hotel area. Nice location across from Turtle Cove Marina. Staff was nice but was not much help when it came to advise or information on local activities or touristy type things to do. Our garden view was a view of the parking lot.

The place to stay was very clean and had all the things except for body soap, which was fine. The swimming pools are clean and are in a perfect spot for an amazing view into the ocean. The kitchen had all the items we needed for dining in and was easy to clean using a dishwasher. The building we stayed at had an elevator, which really helped us. We loved the tofu scramble and pancakes at the cafe. If you are a vegetarian, it's a must-try. I would go back anytime for that because it was that well-cooked. The staff were super sweet and helpful in answering our questions.

The establishment was great with a friendly staff. I would recommend making sure towels and sheets are clean because there were numerous stains. Other than that, the atmosphere was sensational with all major attractions easily accessible.

The property was pretty run down. The mattress was absolutely horrible, there were 8 inch gaps between the bed frame and the mattress would sink into those gaps. We left 4 nights into our stay to find another hotel because of this. What a waste of money

This is a really nice property. Clean and comfortable bed. It is not located directly on the beach but a short walk to it . The view from the terraces describe the name of the hotel - the marvelous blue ocean in the distance is quite a vista. I stayed in a queen suite which was a generous size and a large outdoor terrace to lounge in. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are 2 outdoor pools on the upper levels which are immaculate and a nice size. I did not rent a car for my short stay but would have in order to explore other areas (if you are comfortable driving on left side of road) I did attend the famous Thursday night Fish fry which was basically a party with food vendors, bars, music , DJ , lots of shopping. It was lively and the MC was energetic and entertaining. Not many places to sit down at the venue but didnt bother me. There is a restaurant with bar on site and a smaller all day breakfast and gelato place. The beach is easily walkable to Grace Bay area .

This appears to be a timeshare. Exterior well kept. Interior aged and outdated. Very few people there. Limited things to do nearby. One of two units no hot water. Shower heads in both units needed to be replaced; caked with debris and water not coming out. No telling if they had ever been replaced

I never write reviews but we had a terrible experience, We arrived early before check in multiple attempts to contact property to arrange a early check in or get options prior to arrival no response We were told we were too early by a very rude unwelcoming employee, we had to inquire as to where we could put our things and very reluctantly given minimal direction to the pool area, we arrived at 11:00am and were told we would be contacted when our room was ready by 4:00pm with no call we went to the front office where another employee let us finally check in after finally getting in our room we were greeted by an awful smell of fish in the room and a refrigerator that was beyond loud after speaking to we guessed a manager we were told there were no alternatives rooms available and the following day we could change rooms or they would fix the refrigerator needless to say none of the above happened, We tried to make the best of the trip but it is definitely not a walkable vacation spot at all you definitely need a car, never received any help from management we tried to air out the room to no avail, honestly a disaster i have never experienced such terrible customer service we honestly gave up and tried to enjoy but be aware very unfriendly environment live and learn, just writing this so others won’t be duped I could go on but simply put would never stay here again buyer beware

Self free parking is available at the property. The staff is not friendly at all. We had no room service for 5 days at all. We didn't need anything so it was ok for us, but if you are a family with kids and need anything its hard, the staff is not friendly at all. The property is good, well maintained and was clean as well.

The Hotel is nice and a close walk to beach. Make sure to not get towels too dirty with beach sand or you may be charged a fee for towels. Rooms had coffee pot and hot water but it's byo coffee and tea products. Also no full length mirrors in room. Food on property available for purchase but better options a short walk up the road.

The property is not a beachfront property, but it is less than five minutes from a beach and it is within walking distance. Turtle Cove Marina is literally 3 to 5 minutes away walking.

The facility is nice and clean. The rooms and balcony are a generous size! I was impressed!

There is no elevator so I had yo walk up five flights of stairs. Not easy with luggage. The room was large and clean with big balcony. The safe in the room was on the floor with no directions how to use it so I had to keep my valuables looked up in my suitcase. Because of this I did not have the housekeepers clean my room.
The beach is quite a distance away. Not good if you have trouble walking. There is a restaurant on premises which was ok. There are 3 others about a block away which were good. The grocery store is far away so you need to take a taxi cab to get there which cost me $28.00 .
Groceries were expensive.
I took a taxi $40.00 to Grace Bay to go shopping. All the stores for your souvenirs are expensive. Nothing cheap here. I would suggest staying in Grace Bay if you wanted to be by the beach and close to restaurants and shops.
My first time here and I would never go back!

I booked 3 rooms and all was spotless with no issues. My family and I enjoyed the property and staff. Great location that was within walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants. I loved the pool on the top floor, which was for adults only. It was so wonderful. Definitely will stay there again.

I had an amazing stay at this place. The price was fair and reasonable for the amount of space and amenities onsite. I stayed in a studio unit because I was a solo traveler. I had everything I needed. There were plenty of toiletries, sheets, and towels within the unit. For convenience, there was also a washer and dryer. Cleaning service was great though they come at varying times during the day. The staff were nice as well. They safely kept my stuffs after check-out since my flight was way later in the day. I liked the convenience around. There were plenty of food places (I went to at least 5-6 different ones) and the beach near-by. I budgeted to eat out. But my unit came with a kitchen which I did not use, so I couldn’t tell you if there are actually equipped with necessary utensils (did not check for any). The nearest supermarket was a little bit of a walk (at least 20 min) but 5 min drive; so I took a taxi (costed me $20… would not recommend). I would suggest to make ride arrangements prior, which I did, but the trip to the supermarket was unplanned because I had forgotten a few things at home. I went by the pools a couple of times and they were well maintained. Honestly, I would stay there again.

Didn’t get my room until 4:30 & it wasn’t properly cleaned. When I called the front desk the lady told me the cleaners had already left(don’t know how that’s possible). Then she essentially said I had to just be in a dirty room and there’s nothing she can do… she didn’t even try to help. It was disgusting

The property itself needs some attention and updating. When we arrived the shower floor looked dirty so we went and got cleaning supplies and a brush to do it ourselves since the room had just been cleaned. The jacuzzi looked as if it needed to be cleaned or retiled so never got in it. Things in the room just kept falling apart like the toilet paper holder or the towel racks to the point we just stopped putting it back together and left it on the window. The smoke alarm went off twice. Once while we were asleep at 7 am and stayed on for about 20 mins. Horrible sound and the other for about 5 mins. The bed was horrible to sleep in. The mattress kept sinking in at the headboard so we'd wake up with a stiff neck every morning. We had to put the cushions from the couch under the mattress to keep the mattress from sinking into the frame. The washing machine kept breaking after each use. They had to come reset the machine since the red button would kept blinking saying the lid was locked. The gym equipment needs some attention. Only have 2 45 plates so could use some variety and the machines looked like something from a 70s workout video. The location is about 10 mins away from everything so you definitely need to have a rental car. The grocery store is about 7 mins away and there are some good food spots close by. Go to MaMa's Island Kitchen. Jerk chicken and festival were so good. For a long stay it came in handy having kitchen and washer & dryer.

Hello. My recent stay at the Hotel La Vista Azul was fantastic. Very quiet and extremely clean throughout the whole grounds. There are 2 main accesses to the beaches, within a 5+ minute walk, to Smiths Reef for snorkeling and long walks on Grace Bay beach. There are also 4 bar and grill establishments for eating out close by. The Turtle Marina is right there as well for all your fishing, parasailing and snorkeling tours adventures.

The room was fine. Clean and large but the view was to an alley and not the \"courtyard\" as advertised. The nearest back is 8 minutes away. The restaurant and ice cream/ all day breakfast were five and the staff working there friendly and customer oriented. The reception staff was professional but she can't across as someone who didn't not want to be there. Perhaps my imagination. The taxi (multiple passengers to different hotels) from the airport was $20 and the hotel was a 10 minute downhill walk to the marina, convenient for me.

Do not ever eat at the restaurant in the hotel. You will get food poisoning that can kill you. They will even argue with you when they get your order wrong instead of fixing it. They will literary poison you so that you don’t get to enjoy anything on your vacation and end up spending unnecessary money treating yourself at the hospital or clinic. You’ll be laid out and stuck in your room for 4 to 5 days and come back still sick and weak. This is serious. Customer service is 1 point out of 10. The front desk or check in person will literally shout at you when you ask for directions. Extremely rude. You’ll be told that is how she is. Her mood is always like that. Will definitely not be recommending this hotel. Very bad experience indeed. They couldn’t even give me back my hospital expenses but only the refund for the food after much explanation and insistence.

This hotel is big and it was almost empty but they don’t let you in until last minutes ( 4 PM )!!!!, you get there 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM have to leave all your belongings in the office and wonder around in the hit weather which there is nothing close, they get your number to call if room is ready before 4:00 PM just for Show!!!

This is a nice hotel in a quiet location near Turtle Cove marina. There are a few restaurants nearby within walking distance. The beach access is 8 minutes but the beach isn't as nice as Grace Bay. Be aware that taxi rides into Grace Bay are began $20 and $25 for 2 riders. Most taxi services only accept cash. The swimming pool is nice, cold, but nice. The hotel is in the process of remodeling and reutilizing some of its office spaces. Overall, the experience was great, but if you are aiming more when it comes from a resort like beach access or amenities more than a kitchen or pool, you might need to reconsider this location. But, if you are looking for a quiet location, with a nice clean room, then this is your spot.

The property was very clean and well kept. Very private, and quite daily. The staff was friendly and helpful daily on where to eat, which activities the island had to offer daily. It’s easy to get a taxi within minutes. The Wave was across and it offered a very reason home style breakfast.
Only downside was the water pressure was a slow drip. Good luck on a shampoo!

Room stay was as expected. It’s been years and I can’t believe they haven’t fixed the hot water situation in the showers in the room at the back of the property. The water gets hot at the faucets but can’t get pass cool in the shower and I absolutely hate that. The floors could’ve been mopped better as well as my feet got dirty after walking barefoot in the room.

My husband and I celebrated our 16th anniversary at this location. There were no working elevators, which meant we had to walk 11 flights of stairs just to get down to the first floor and of course back up once we were done for the day. The room we stayed in was ok, but I think the room they gave us was the room that they do laundry in. They were doing laundry in our room upon arrival and the day before we left someone knocked on our door to do more laundry while we were in the room resting.

Overall, it was nice. I felt safe there and the hotel area was very pretty. Staff was awesome, super kind and went above and beyond. The rooms had an oven, microwave, stove, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and laundry washer and dryer in unit. Two pools and hot tub which were very clean and quiet.
Cons: the bed was uncomfortable. My husband and I woke up with back aches each day. The shower water pressure was bad. No pan for the oven so we could not use it. Did not have dish soap or detergent for laundry/dishwasher. However the maid service was awesome and did our dishes and some laundry for us. We bought all the stuff at the store though. No paper towels or napkins or body wash. It did supply shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion though. As long as you bring those things from home you’ll be fine.

The views were wonderful. Short walk to the beach and a reef close by. Pools and hot tub were in wonderful shape and always clean. Staff was so nice. Simone’s restaurant and gelato place was reasonable and right on property. Walking distance to Turtle Cove restaurants.
Our room was clean but lacked some items that would have been nice like a blender. It had one pan which was being used to catch a drip under the sink!!!! We did use the one skillet to cook with, however. Overall, we loved staying here and made do with what we had.

Relaxing trip to Turks & Caicos

We'd never been to Turks & Caicos and beachfront (on the water) accomodations were a bit pricey. As it was just us, no kids, the need for instant beach access every day (kids like to roll out every available moment) wasn't so important. La Vista Azul sits tiered, into a hill with oustanding ocean view rooms. Of course you have to specify that otherwise your choices include garden view or whatever the jargon. Lots of steps if you're staying in the Ocean View rooms... 82! If you arrive from the airport by van, reception is at that lower street level. If you've rented a car, you now motor back up to the upper road to access the Ocean View rooms... otherwise you schlep your baggage up 82 stairs to your room! Ours was a 1 room efficiency, w/ balcony overlooking a large beautiful deck and views of the ocean. Just a few steps down and we were poolside. We were in Building 3 and our area was restricted to no kids under... I think it was 12? Net, no kids frolicking in the pool... in fact, only a few adults the entire week. Full bath, full kitchen, washer/dryer, 50\" or so tv with all the channels... though we only watched the Super Bowl and turned it off for the rest of the week. We bought a few breakfast groceries and snacks but otherwise tried a different restaurant every night. We borrowed beach chairs + umbrella from the hotel and, while you could walk to the beach (I'd say 15 minutes) we drove to a different point every day... great experience, rent a car.

We are visited Provo many times however, as this was a last minute trip we did not have many options hence chose this property. We would NOT recommend it. Upkeep on the units is not good at all, I almost feel sorry for investors who are paying monthly fee to this resort to manage it as units are in shackles. We had to take 2 suits as we were 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) of us and ocean view suite’s only accommodate 2 people. Washer and stove in one unit was broken the entire time and the people pretty much relied on our second unit for all the usage. Also, air conditioning in one unit was not working on arrival but we were given another unit for a night. Beds are not comfortable, dishes and glasses are chipped, shower is really bad(can share pictures). You don’t go to Provo for this kind of an experience, please avoid if you can. We were in Building 2, ocean view suites. Pool was nice and mostly quiet, outside is decent but this property is about a 15-20 drove from most things you would like to see or enjoy. Handful of restaurants are in walking distance and are decent.

This property was underwhelming. They didn't even offer breakfast. The property is extremely dated. I felt I was living in the 90's. Extremely disappointed. I would never go back to this hotel and also will never recommend this hotel to anyone as well.

Good amenities - pools and hot tub, big balcony, comfortable and clean rooms. Would absolutely recommend. Easy walking distance to beach, nearby restaurants, and vendors on-site. Easy 10-15 minute taxi to the excursions we did and 10 minutes from the airport.
