Ideal family stopover at a lovely hotel

Great family-run hotel that suited our needs perfectly as a family. Easy parking on arrival, helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Quiet area but well-connected by bus and tram with central Karlsruhe.

We stayed their at the start and end of our trip. Never seems too busy , even with the breakfast seating full there were soon tables free. At breakfast, staff quickly clean vacated tables and refill the food and drinks promptly.

This is an amazing hotel, the staff is outstanding. They would do anything to make your stay excellent. The breakfast is amazing it has all the options and varieties that suit all needs.
I would like to thank the reception personnel, specially the amazing Ms. Bianca who has a lot of experience and is so intelligent, helpful and wise. The outstanding Ms. Juluette who did her best to respond to our needs instantly and was always supportive and helpful. Ms. Bernadette, with her cherrfulness and willingness to help made us feel very comfortable. Ms.Denissa.
The breakfast staff works very hard also. Thanks to Ms. Nathalia and all the staff I really would like to thank them one by one.
I would definitely return to that hotel if I come back to Kalsruhe.

Great stay in Karlsruhe

The hotel is well situated out of Karlsruhe. Handy for the main roads. Really good to have somewhere to stay in the current crisis. The distancing and sanitation measures were well observed and very organized.

Great Weekend Stay in Karlsruhe

Great 3* hotel - Booked a family room for 5 of us, plenty of room for all of us - not the latest decor but perfectly adequate - Free Parking - Superb Buffet Breakfast with everything you can think of from smoked salmon to pancakes and waffles - Room nice and warm with little heating required even though it was -4c at night in January - Reception staff were always eager to help - Penny mini mart 100m down the road & McDonalds and a Shell petrol station opposite - Close to Karlsruhe City Centre - Room had TV, Fridge, Microwave & Kettle - Overall a great stay, my only criticism - hotel needs to invest in some new decent pillows.

Great for an overnight stay

Just one night while passing through. Room was clean. There were no additional pillows in the cupboard. Shower and toilet are separated from the room by a glass screen, not much privacy if you were sharing a twin room with friends rather than your partner.
Breakfast was included and very good, choice of hot or cold and plenty of fresh fruit cut and prepared. Pets are allowed, but they charged us €10 each for our two small dogs.

Overpriced.

Not a great hotel. Paid for a double room and got a single bed! There wasn't any parking on site despite advertising free parking. There was a fan in the room which was most welcomed.

Almost a great hotel!

This was a good value for money stop over point for us, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was small and clean, the choice at breakfast was incredible and fresh. The only thing that let down this stay was the shower was weak and the bathroom stank of cigarette smoke.

Not bad, standard business hotel

Easy to get to, no restaurant but a few decent local hosteleries. Room was clean, well presented with kettle, tea bags, bottles of waterand a microwave. We are a family of 5 in one room which had plenty of space. The main beds were fine but the fold out bed and sofa bed were bad. The sofa bed was pitted in the middle and gave me back ache. Bathroom was good but why put the bin so close to the toilet so you can't open your legs? Breakfast was good, unlimited.

Handy location, great breakfast

Was a little unsure on arrival the parking arrangements are novel and you may have to leave your keys at reception if your space blocks another, but there is road parking as an alternative. The fact the restaurant only served snack style food came as a surprise but since there was a fridge in the room and a Penny store close by it was easy to buy food and drink in for the evenings and have lunches out on our travels. However the restaurant provided excellent breakfasts, there was a wide range of alternative cold options and few basic hot ones so always felt very satisfied. The hotel was located on the outskirts of Karlsruhe and provided an convenient base for travel around the region. We visited Baden Baden and Merkur mountain by car and used the train to visit Strasbourg

Quiet Area and Large Rooms

We stayed for the night but left early in the morning for the airport before breakfast. The hotel was easy to find in a quiet location. Supermarket just a block away. The room was large and comfortable. Wifi was fast. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.

Quirky hotel, but clean, with great service.

The one issue for an American traveler is the bathroom. It is a glassed off space on one wall of the bedroom and everything is almost totally visible. Yes there is an orange band to cover the mid section if one is not too tall or short, but... if you are a single, or a double with true love, then it is ok. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff and the breakfast are great.

For an American, quirky but nice.

Very clean, modern hotel. Nice friendly staff that are always helpful. Excellent breakfast is served in the AM.

The quirky part is that the bathroom is very much apart of the room...just small glass dividers. It is not a good situation if there are two people unless you are REALLY together.

The hotel does not have AC. Also ask for a room on the upper floors otherwise you are very exposed to the street.

Have stayed a couple of times; will stay again.

Wij hadden een vierpersoons kamer met 1 extreem groot tweepersoonsbed en 1 heel klein tweepersoonsbed, handiger was het geweest als het 2 bedden van dezelfde grootte was geweest. De inrichting was wat gedateerd en de vloerbedekking was smoezelig. Het ontbijt was netjes. Voor deze prijs op zich prima, maar we hebben betere gehad voor dit budget.

Passing trough Germany we stayed for 2 nights. 2 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space in the room. Room is basic, but clean. Breakfast was included in the price and extensive.
You can reach the city center within 10 minutes by car. McDonalds, Aldi Sud & DM around the corner. Staff friendly. Pleasant stay. Especially considering the price.

Wanzen Käfer im Zimmer / Rest schrecklich

Im Zimmer gab es Wanzen / Käfer. Ein abgetakeltes Stadthotel. Alles sehr alt und schmutzig im Aufzug hatte ich Angst das der Boden durchbricht. Parkplätze gab es 10 Stück am Haus und die waren reserviert. Ich verstehe überhaupt nicht das andere Gäste das Hotel gut bewerten. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Personal beim Empfang war nett. Das ganze Hotel schmutzig in den Fluren helle Flecke von Hunde Urin fürchterlich! Die Zimmer sind alt und stinken. Das Badezimmer ist aus den 70ern Jahren die Dusche hat einen Durchmesser von 60 cm. Der Toiletten Deckel vergilbt und lose. Gardinen stinken nach Qualm und das alles für über 100 EUR die Nacht. Da gibt es sicherlich bessere Hotels in Karlsruhe. Die Bilder in den Portalen täuschen! Bitte aufpassen !!!

Wir hatten ein 3-Bettzimmer gebucht und erhielten ein Doppel- und ein Einzelzimmer mit Verbindungstür. Dadurch hatten wir genügend Platz und 2 Bäder. Frühstück ist sehr vielfältig. Lage ist etwas vom Zentrum entfernt, jedoch gut mit dem Nahverkehr erreichbar.

Gut mit Verbesserungspotential

Ich habe kürzlich in Aviva Hotel im Rahmen einer Geschäftsreise übernachtet und möchte meine Eindrücke teilen.

Service: Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den Aufenthalt angenehm gestaltet hat.

Zimmer: Das klassische Zimmer war eher klein und etwas abgenutzt. Eine Renovierung wäre wünschenswert, insbesondere im Hinblick auf den Teppichboden und die Beleuchtung. Zudem fehlt eine Klimaanlage, was an heißen Tagen ein deutlichen Nachteil ist.

Badezimmer: Das Badezimmer war sehr klein, es war schwierig, die Toilettenspülung zu stoppen. Hier könnte ebenfalls eine Modernisierung von Vorteil sein.

Frühstück: Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Der Buffet war umfangreich und abwechslungsreich, was einen guten Start in den Tag ermöglicht hat.

Zugang und Parkmöglichkeiten: Das Hotel ist gut erreichbar und bietet ausreichende Parkmöglichkeiten.

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, jedoch gibt es in einigen Bereichen Verbesserungsbedarf.

Abbiamo soggiornato 1 notte con i ns cani, le camere sono più ampie dei soliti hotel, ben fornita di frigorifero, asciugacapelli ed un ventilatore. Parcheggio interno alla struttura. Zum größten Teil komfortabel

Alles war so wie beschrieben. Das Zimmer war überraschend groß, was meiner Familie sehr gefiel. Aber das ausziehbaren Schlafsofa war nicht gerade gemütlich. Dazu hatten wir dem Personal nach einem zweitem Ventilator gebeten, der aber nie ankam.

Ansonsten war alles gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich und lecker.

Como nos quedamos en un feriado el precio era muy alto. La habitación muy pequeña para 4 personas. El personal súper amable!!
La comida muy bueno, incluso el desayuno.
La ubicación un poco lejos del centro pero se puede ir a pie. Como el hotel estaba lleno se complicó encontrar estacionamiento.

Parkmöglichkeiten zwar auf dem Grundstück vorhanden, aber ein wenig \"chaotische Parksituation\". Es sind aber ausreichend Straßenparkplätze vorhanden. Im Zimmer ist das Bad/die Toilette mit einer Schiebetür aus Glas vom Schlafraum getrennt (daher ist's nachts nicht möglich, mit Licht ins Bad zu gehen...). Leider befand sich keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer.

Ansonsten eine tolle Unterkunft mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Gute Unterkunft. Leider keine Klimaanlage, aber man hat uns mit einem Ventilator ausgeholfen. Einziges Manko war die Dusche.

Den Duschkoof konnte man nicht einstellen, es kam ein \"harter\" Strahl raus und die Abtrennung war nicht in die komplette Breite angebracht. Das Bad stand komplett unter Wasser. Das müsste verbessert werden.

Die Zimmer sind recht minimalistisch eingerichtet. Die Lage im Souterrain, also tagesbelichtetes Kellergeschoss, war nicht besonders schön. An den Fenstern befanden sich nur weiße Stores; Rollläden oder Übergardinen zur Verdunkelung des Raumes waren nicht vorhanden. Das Fehlen ist sehr lästig!
