Wow, what an amazing experience! Me and my partner had the best time here. The room was absolutely lovely — super clean, cozy, and way more private than the others we saw. The location was brilliant too!

Mario, the host, was just fantastic. He honestly couldn’t do enough for us and made sure our stay was one we’ll never forget. He even helped my partner plan the perfect proposal, which made it all extra special — something I’ll remember forever!

We’ll 100% be coming back. Highly recommend this place — five stars all the way! 🌟

Amazing! I booked the same day and Mario was super helpful, pickup from the airport and brought my bags down to the room which is down some steps. The room was AMAZING! The views were beautiful and the room was very large and spotless! Huge outdoor patio with a hot tub. I would definitely stay here again.

The host of the property was fantastic, from picking us up and carrying our luggage down to the property to scheduling a boat ride for us. The property was beautiful and we could see the blue domes from our balcony. I recommend a dehumidifier for the rooms, as it's quite damp in the caves.

Overall experience

As the name implies it is a cave , it is clean and nice and unique. The reason i gave it 3 stars is because of the bathroom, there seemed to be a sewage problem and i was instructed not to flush toilet paper in the toilet, but the real problem was it's smell, to be fair i stayed only one night and i didn't have time to discuss it with the staff.

Spectacular views.

The property was amazing. Just beware there are a lot of steps you have to walk down to get to your room (88 to our room to be exact). Some of them are very uneven, but it was worth it. The view was spectacular. Very comfortable unique property. Also, there are a bunch of stray cats, but they were not a problem, just entertaining.

Had an absolutely fantastic time! Mario was extremely helpful and not only did he come meet us to help us find parking, but he carried a suitcase down to our room. He also stayed in touch during the stay to answer any questions that came up. The location itself is fantastic - it is right at a very popular photo site so many tourists are there but it's still secluded as you go down and down the stairs. the view from the hot tub is incredible. the room was fun and very decently sized. there are many good restaurants nearby and much to explore. Lovely all-around!

The private hot tub was a perfect way to end the night. Located in the heart of Oia, right by the infamous blue domes. Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend.

This property is very beautiful, you room is actually a cave with window- beautifully decorated and with a beautiful view however cant see the sunsets from your room - they dont serve breakfast and if you have difficulty with climbing stairs then the access can be rather painful
However the view is worth all the discomfort

Excellent cave building, clean, spacious and decent views(not the sunset). Property is quite a few steps down and the guy from hotel carried the luggage.

Overall, highly recommended, only issue (if it’s even one) is cats … lots of them. We decided to sit on terrace for a cup of tea and within 10-15 minutes we’re surrounded by 5-6 cats that jumped from alleys and terraces above the property looking for food.

We stayed at Virginia's Cave Villas for 2 nights, and the property was absolutely amazing. We rented the Deluxe Villa with the outdoor tub, and we were not disappointed at all. The Views, the cleanliness, the service, the accommodation was just top notch. Albert was extremely helpful with everything. He made all the arrangements for us, including the transport to and from the property. Be ready for some steps to get to the property, but that would be with most of the accommodations in Santorini. Overall, a fantastic place and hospitality. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with a nice view of the Caldera.

The suite, the view , the staffs and the service are amazing! Mario is very kind and helpful. He arranged the transportation for us not only to/ from the airport but also to / from the beach. The staffs carried all the luggages for you with consideration for the number of stairs to climb in order to get to the villas. The suite has everything you need including the welcoming bottle of wine. Very clean with beautiful view of Aegean Sea and part of the caldera and blue dome church! Everything just so perfect! We truly enjoyed the stay and I strongly recommend this place!

Amazing! We could have stayed on the balcony with the hot tub the entire vacation. Secluded and honestly, just perfect. We will never forget the view! Note: refrigerator but no stove in case you want to cook. We explored restaurants so it wasn’t a big deal to us but I thought it would be good to know. Overall just amazing!

The room is nice and clean. Very private and the view in our room is spectacular. The only problem is the stairs going up and down. It’s 120 steps to up and down it’s very tiring. Also, they don’t have creamer or milk for your coffee. Otherwise the staff and the property are great

Junior suite couples stay

We stayed for 4 nights and had the most amazing time. The junior sweet is everything you could ask for and more. Mario is on hand for everything, from organising boat trips, table reservations and even prosecco on our door step in the morning. All amenities were there, from towels, slippers and robes to shampoos and toothbrushes. The views are sensational and there was nothing we didnt love.
Be prepared to walk a lot, and if you have breakfast included this is a short walk up to the main street but the staff are so friendly and catered for my coeliac food requirements. This was by far the best holiday.
Id recommend the junior suite to anyone looking for a private holiday with a gorgeous view of the sea.

Mario and the team were fantastic from start to finish. Responsive and easily contactable. They helped us with our bags and have us a mini tour on the way to the apartment.

The view was insane, open your door to the entire bay area, something out of a movie!

The apartment itself had aircon, a safe, a fridge and coffee machine. All the amenities were provided, including for the shower and it was perfect for what we needed. The only gripe, if you can call it that, is the fact the shower would run out of hot water after 10 minutes, meaning if 2 of you are to shower, you needed to be quick!

It was cleaned as and when we wanted and the cleaning lady did a fantastic job. The private jacuzzi and sun bed area was brilliant and we had a very relaxing time. A small seat and table set in that private area would have been good for eating outside, but we did have a small bench outside the apartment.

The location was incredible convenient, right in the middle of Santorini.

Would go again and a definitely 9/10. One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed.

Santorini is Wonderful

The cave was wonderful...the people were exceptional. Since it's early season, being in the middle of IOS was perfect...apparently the rest of the island wasn't open yet. Getting lost on the crazy stairs brings you to wonderful off path shops...throw away the map and go for it.

Location was beautiful!! Amazing view of Oai. The staff was so helpful, Mario was available whenever we had a question and the other staff member carried our bags all the way from the taxi drop off point! SO generous. Mario arranged a great boat tour for us. There is ton of shops and dining nearby, close to the sunset view spot. The jetted tub on the balcony worked well and was perfect to relax and see the town all lit up at night. The room was very cute and clean. I would recommend this hotel!

Perfect location. Not sunset view but very secluded and amazing night view. We loved our suite with outdoor hot tub. The stairs can be a little tough which may be something to consider but likely something to think about when staying in this area. They will help with luggage so that’s nice. Lots of amenities and Netflix on the tv. The perfect place to wrap up our stay when we were hopping around Greece! Would recommend.

amazing views of the Caldera, steps away from oia's famous sunset spot.

Mario was amazing, he took care of everything for my wife and i during this 2 night stop at virginia cave. Very welcoming, easy to get a hold of via whatsapp. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

The property is quite an experience! We absolutely loved it and would definitely come back. The only thing we noticed was a slightly odd smell between the front door through under the stairs (entryway), but nothing to completely turn us away. Mario and Riki were very welcoming and helpful! They’re wonderful people! We highly recommend this property.

Incredible. First of all, if you come to Santorini, you come for the views and to relax. If you don’t have a view of the caldera, then why are you here? To souvenir shop or take photos of the caldera? That’s fine but that wasn’t our plan. Our place had the view and the quiet. Top end finishings inside the place. GREAT view of the caldera from the hot tub and our daybeds. Our manager Mario secured us reservations at top of the line restaurants in Amoudi Bay with seafront tables.

I booked the honeymoon villa, the hot tub was not overlooking the sea as the pictures represented when I booked the Villa, I stayed at 3 hotels during my 7 days on the Island, only this hotel demanded that we not throw any toilet tissue in the toilet. Uncomfortable.

Incredible property with views out of this world. The staff were amazing. Mario Could not have offered to do more for us. There are a lot of stairs. Thank heavens they carried our luggage down and up! We’ll be back and highly recommend it to our friends.

Amazing villa, fantastic service, perfect locatIon

We have just returned from almost a week at Virginias Cave Villas and had a great time.

The Villa is gorgeous; the hot tub, facilities, room, bathroom were all top class however the location was the most amazing part for us.

You couldn’t have asked for a better location - close enough to the hustle and bustle of Oia but far enough away for seclusion and privacy - the views are spectacular!

Perfect for a long weekend or full holiday, immaculate villas; Mario and his team looked after us so well, took our suitcases to/fro the taxi meeting point and was on hand to answer any questions via WhatsApp which was great.

We had the best time in Oia and will return to Santorini in the future...when we do, we will definitely stay at Virginias Cave Villas !

Wonderful location and service, tough mattress.

The apartment and the location are outstanding. The service was great too... the only thing that we particularly did not like much was how hard the mattress was. We had a hard time falling asleep on it, and is was not only me, but my wife too. Besides that, everything was excellent.

I feel like we choose the best property in Oia, the balcony and private spa was perfect. The staff were lovely and so helpful, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and our bags were carried down the stairs for us. The room is very spacious and cleaned every day. Highly recommend.
