The place was clean and cozy, we love the view from the terrace which is facing the caldera. You'll get an uninterrupted view of the sunset as well. Plus it's close to everything, to the castle and the blue dome church, etc.
Mario is the best host, he allowed us to checked in early and very helpful with all our queries. We would love to stay in this place again.

The property has no washing area if your property gets flooded from rain. On our second day we got flooded and it takes them 30 minutes to reply and help with the customers. All of our clothes were wet. At 5 -8 am they have construction above the property. Overall the stay was bad. There is a high chance of flooding on rainy days because they have terrible storm drains. Every night it rains we had to worry all night long. Our flood was 5 inches of water. Lastly we requested a room change and they told us that all the room were booked but when we let them know we were unhappy they offered us a room far up the mountain. This showed dishonesty in the property managers, and the stairs going up is very steep and narrow. Highly dangerous for the elderly. We wouldn’t be going back to this property ever again.

It was a great experience staying at this Villa. I was a bit skeptical staying here because of luggage transport knowing it’s a walking path up and down. However the host was very helpful in providing guidance and helping us all the way during our stay. I lost my way on the path but the host guided me through FaceTime and was always available for any questions. Kudos to our host Ardiit.

The villa was clean and had all the basic necessities. I would definitely recommend staying here as it’s also close to pic areas and u can view sunset directly from the villa terrace.

As a generic comment, It was a good idea to rent a car and drive to various places in the island.

We had a wonderful stay. The place is a 5 minute walk from the free car park (if you can find a spot). Place was clean and in good location with good views. This place was comfortable for the 4 of us, clean, centrally located, and had the most amazing views, we could see the perfect sunsets from our terrace. Mario and his brother were very helpful, gave us lots of information about the island, activities and restaurant recommendations. Mario helped us coordinate to rent a car for one day to explore the rest of the island. Overall it was a fantastic holiday and we would definitely stay here again.

We had an incredible stay at this amazing villa, with the best view offering breathtaking sunsets Santorini is known for. The location is perfect with easy to shops & restaurants. Marios was incredibly welcoming and responsive, from organising transfer to having our suitcases picked up (Def would rec that as there were quite a lot of steps from the closest drop off point). I would highly recommend this place to anyoen looking for a comfortable and convenient base withe exceptional view and hospitality.

Cute little place on the heart of Oia. If you want to be in the heart of everything, with the famous sunset view right from your room at a VERY good price, then this is a great option. I will say, though you have to be prepared for a rigorous type of walking from here (up, down, left, right, all directions), so it's not for everyone. It is also VERY crowded in-season at Oia (particularly near this part of town, and particularly at sunset and in the morning when the cruises let people off in Fira to come to Oia, but everyone should already know this. Yiannis and Marios took very good care of us, they arranged for luggage carry and airport transfers at a VERY reasonable price. The apartment was very cute, clean, and functional with amazing views of course. Bravo Ariadni!!

Wonderful place. The location could not be better. They arranged for a very comfortable ride to bring us to and from the port at a reasonable rate. Gave us wonderful advice on how to spend our time. Easily helped us sort out our luggage storage. The boat cruise they recommended was absolutely amazing. We could walk everywhere in Oia.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The location was perfect, in fact it’s where everyone comes
to take pictures. Our host Marios was very available and helpful. It was four of us in the house, my husband and I, and my 2 teenage daughters, which, since we were out and about most of the time, was fine, but longer term probably would be too cramped for that many fully grown people. The bathroom
Is very small and you have to hold the shower head yourself, but for a few days, it’s totally fine. Oia is just so beautiful and the house was a comfortable and cool refuge from
the heat. We also had a very large patio that was just for us with incredible views.

Do not stay here! We had 2 rooms, first room- bathroom had a sewage smell for a day. Air conditioning didn’t work for a day as well.

Room 2-my room- there were cockroaches in the room and bathroom. Each day we had to kill at least 3 of them.

They told us from day 1 there were no other rooms to move into so we had to stay there. We would like a refund but seems we won’t get it!! Zero compensation from the property.

While the staff came immediately when something was not working, it’s still not a property I’d recommend. Absolutely a no!

The best thing about this hotel is its location, which is incredible.
The views out the windows and from the balconies are breathtaking. It is right in the heart of Oia, so perfect for walking to restaurants, shops and down to Amoudi Bay.
Mario was very helpful - reaching out ahead of time to help with arrangements for transportation to and from the hotel for us.
Our main concern was the lack of shade in the outdoor spaces. There are two beautiful patio areas but we were only able to use them very early and very late because of the full sun exposure and heat. Most other hotels looked to have canopy coverings or patio umbrellas.
Our only other observation would be that the beds are not particularly comfortable.

Mario was very responsive to any inquiries during our stay, which was appreciated. They arranged transportation for us to and from the port which was appreciated. Although the amount we paid differed each time, between 50 and 55 euros.

The wifi didn’t work in all areas of the apartment/room and was a bit spotty at times. There were also several large roaches that we had to kill, which made it stressful when you had to check the bathroom before the kids would use it, or the beds before heading off to sleep. However, when I reached out to Mario, he sent someone right away to apply a spray around the door and windows to prevent the bugs from coming in.

Overall, the views from your outdoor space was amazing. You can’t quite see the sunset from that space, but you can see the colours change in the sky. Oia is beautiful, without question but the amount of tourists especially around sunset hour is insane. You have to battle the crowds to get to your room.

Cute room right in the midst of all the action, with a nice outdoor space to use.

A Dump in a Great Location

The location of The Wind House was amazing!

However, the air conditioner wasn't working. We complained several times and each time we were told it was fixed, which it wasn't. It was so hot that even with the windows open we couldn't sleep. We complained again and again they told us it was fixed. Then it started leaking so much that it flooded the kitchen. That is when they finally replaced the unit and we had one day of cold air.

The shower head holder was also broken, along with the shower seal, which caused a flood every time we showered. The window cover in the bathroom window was missing, so anytime someone walked by they could see you in the bathroom.

Not once did they offer a refund or even an \"I'm sorry\". Unacceptable!!

Loved the location and the room itself! We were in the wind room.

However...the air conditioning wasn't working. They kept telling us it was fixed but it wasn't. It was so hot in the room that even with all the windows open we couldn't sleep. We complained again, and they stated again that it was fixed. Then it started leaking so bad that it flooded the kitchen. At this point, they replaced it, so we had one day with the air working.

The shower head holder was broken, the seal on the shower doors was also faulty, so the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower, and the wood cover for one of the bathroom windows was missing, so anyone walking by could look into the bathroom and see you in there.

We were very disappointed given the money we paid, and not once were we offered a refund or even an \"I'm sorry\". Unacceptable!

The place was breathtaking! Unparalleled views, Mario was so kind and helpful. Set up everything from airport pick up and drop off, the boat tours and restaurants, the luggage up and down the stairs. He was always available to answer any questions. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone that gets the chance to visit Santorini should take advantage of the amazing hospitality and experience they provide. And we were traveling with our 4 and 6 year olds. It was without a doubt perfect as perfect can be.

Very good location and responses to questions on WhatsApp was very good. Some toiletries were missing but overall a very good stay at Santorini Greece. Coordinations with taxi drivers was a breeze and Mario was good at that. Both Airport pickup and Ferry dropoff was well coordinated and we did not face issues.

Mario explained everything in detail including currency recommendations and this helped plan the Santorini trip well and we had an awesome time here.

Via Ariadni its the best place to stay in Oia, Santorini!!! Mario, was waiting for us as soon as the transport dropped us… please pay for your luggage transport!!! ($5 euros a piece), there is a lot of stairs to carry them!!!..the room had an impressive view and the best spot for the sunset!!! Rooms are clean and cozy, central to walk around to any restaurant or to walk around and take good pictures…and really such good price. We enjoyed our stay, we spend 2 nights and hands down, best part of our trip!!! Hope to go back to Santorini in a future!!!

2nd bedroom was smelling really bad. They claimed it was pant, but I highly doubt it. I have done lot of wall painting in my house. I know that smell. I had to remove the beddings and sleep on the floor in living room. I noticed that mattress was so dirty underneath the sheets. I don’t recommend staying here until they change all the mattresses and fix the smell.

Villa was nice with a decent balcony and a fantastic view. The host was very communicative and responded promptly to your questions. Villa is very close and walkable to several dining and shoppion options. Close to the bust station and main town square. Also very close to the Oia castle, just few hundred feet away.
The only two minor gripe I had was that he kitche is too tiny and is not very serviceable. If you plan to cook your dinner and lunch in the condo you might have a bit of difficulty. And the bathroom can be updated a bit. But still very clean and useable.
Would definetely not hesitate to come back and stay here again.

The villa is perfectly positioned in an amazing location to view the sunsets and the sunrises from the patio chairs without the crowds. Even the views from the windows of the landscape and the sea are breath taking. The “cave” we stayed in was very spacious and well appointed. We relaxed with some Netflix before sleep. Easily accommodates 4 persons but we were 2. A fantastic kitchen with everything needed to cook but we are out at the recommended restaurants which were delicious. The staff were exceptionally helpful. It is best to use their advice, transfers to and from the airport, and their tours for the best pricing and the safest rides. Elvis and Yannis were lifesavers and made our stay enjoyable and memorable. They work very hard and expertly to give you the best experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Ariadni. These villas are beautiful. The view from our suite was truly breath taking. This was one of our favourite stays in Greece. We arranged a shuttle through them to the Villas, they greeted us at the parking lot and helped to our room. That made the start of our stay carefree. They provided a bunch of recommendations for the area and a map of where everything was. The villa was nicely decorated and clean. The patio overlooking the ocean and Oia was gorgeous. We couldn't get enough of the view. I highly recommend Villa Ariadni, this place is truly something special. We would love to return one day and would stay here again!

Our first experience in a cave house - this is a cozy and beautiful house. Host took care of most basic amenities. The room has a nice outdoor private patio with beautiful views of the caldera. Great experience. Prepare to walk a bit to get to the property from where the taxi drops you off. If you have heavier luggage you will need a porter to help most likely. We had only backpacks and carry-ons which we could manage ourselves.

Ariadni villa was an absolute gem. What a cute and authentic little cave house this place is! It had everything we needed including coffee and a coffee maker. Mario was very kind and very responsive. Albert was wonderful helping us transport our luggage. We loved the location, there are restaurants everywhere, and a mini mart 10 steps away. One of the best parts of Ariadni villa though, was the view. It was nothing short of breathtaking! It was fantastic gazing out over the rooftops and the Caldera. Just wow! I highly recommend staying here if you are going to Oia.

The apartment is very tired and needs updating especially the bathroom which is in need of a proper lock, and the kitchen has a musty smell. My husband also hit his head 3 times as the height of the bathroom door is very low, he has to remember to dock down and he’s not even tall. Expedia should never rate this as exceptional. It is very misleading. The door outside leading to the house is constantly being opened by bypassers and it makes us uncomfortable and not safe. One night we saw a guys walking upstairs coming from the apartment balcony. We tried getting it resolved with Expedia the day we checked it as son as we saw the condition of the place, but have not heard back from Expedia. They said that they haven’t heard back from Villa Ariadni. The only good thing about this place is the view. We had to spend more time outside so we don’t have to stay in the place.

We wanted cave experience for our children and it was located near one of the blue dome. We were contacted early enough about the taxi service for pickup and drop off to port so we could make that choice. We were well informed about the service of carrying luggage to the house as it is located far from where cars would drop off, the steps we had to take to get to the house. Our house had terrace which was private and one of the picturesque site. They arranged our tour next day for a reasonable price. Both our porter and driver/ tour guide were polite, friendly and made our stay and vacation memorable. Thanks to Mario, Albert, lash . Definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful location close to windmill, castle and 3 domes. love this cave - wind house, really nice room w large space and nice beds, pleasantly surprised it is so well maintained; you can watch the sunset, although the best location would be from the castle So you can take picture of the windmill during sunset. Btw, you really need the staff help with the luggage because of so many stairs to get to the Caves, Same with others I think.

The best location one can stay in Santorini... its almost like a fairy tale. Know that you need to haul your suitcases down the stairs, not a problem for us but we didn't know this. The house has minimum kitchen supplies (not even salt), bathroom needs upgrade the internet and TV did not work the whole time we were there. But the location and the charming house is hard to beat! I will stay again in a heart beat!

Fabulous experience!

We enjoyed our stay here - it was a truly unique experience to be high up on the cliffs, nestled into the mountain, with a breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea, the ruins of the medieval Byzantine castle of St Nicholas, and all of Oia before us. Our cave-like suite was cozy and comfortable with all the amenities needed for our 3-night stay. Staff were wonderful - from our driver who picked us up at the port, to Mario who checked us in, showed us the way, and was always available when we had questions and/or needed a pickup from dinner and back to the port, to the young man who carried our suitcases through the narrow and busy streets of Oia.

Stunning views of ocean and the sky.
