Outstanding view and private amenities with a private plunge pool/jacuzzi and comfortable lounge chairs. Our suite had a few issues for us: no shade on our patio in the afternoon when it was the hottest part of the day and our toilet would not flush from time to time. We noticed it would eventually flush, but that was an unexpected inconvenience in a hotel that is this expensive and lux. I was surprised they did not do anything extra or special knowing it was our honeymoon. Spectacular place to stay in Oia for the location and views with peace and quite from the busy crowds!

Beautifully appointed suites on a secluded hillside property overlooking Amoudi bay. It was quiet and relaxing. Having a plunge pool was clutch. Food from ASPA was amazing that we ate dinner there three nights in a row. Staff is attentive and friendly especially Vasiliki. There is no better way to cap your day than watching the spectacular sunset as you sip your favorite cocktail.
I highly recommend this place and would go back in a heartbeat.

Everything was perfect! I was helped with my luggage and I enjoyed breakfast every morning here. The views are amazing you will never get tired of them. We stayed in our heated pool and it was perfect for us since it was quite chilly when we were there. Definitely recommend staying here!

The manager and staff were an absolute delight. They were incredibly helpful arranging transport from the port to the hotel as well as to the airport. My wife and I stayed here for two nights in the honeymoon suite (room 8). The room was sensational. Built out of a cave, it was an amazing combination of nature and modern amenities, all with our own heated pool. The on-site restaurant is a fine dining experience with a great view of the famous Santorini sunset.

Absolutely loved this property!! Very quiet and no one watching the sunset from the top could look down into your room like some of the hotels in the center of Oia.

The one thing I didn’t know which I would caution people about is there are a lot of stairs. We climbed 100 stairs everyday just to get up to the walking path into Oia’s village. Definitely get your steps in.

Probably one of the best properties in Oia. We had an amazing experience! The service was impeccable and they pulled out all the stops to make sure we had everything we could ever want or need. Our room was beautiful and had the most incredible views and the private plunge pool offered the opportunity to relax and cool off during the heat of the day. The sunsets here are the best on the island and you can watch from your private patio without dealing with the crowds. The made to order breakfast (and onsite) restaurant were delicious and catered to our needs. If you are looking to splurge on a couple of nights lodging Maregio Suites won’t disappoint. They make you feel like you’re the only guest there. We were very sad to leave and hope to be back very soon!

We loved our suite for so many reasons: the view, it was very private and the pool was such a luxury. The staff arranged a transfer to and from the airport which was so helpful. Maregio suites was amazing! Fabulous staff who really went out of their way to make things comfortable for their guests. The rooms were great - we had a honeymoon suite! Huge and spacious, super clean and modern! The location isn’t in the central part of Oia village but it’s like a 8-9 mins walk. Plus you get the first class sunset views from your balcony!
The only 2 things I would suggest is one there is no hot water kettle in the room and one other thing, there are ants around that get into the hot tub. Not sure if this can be avoided but would be good if possible

Absolutely loved our stay. Booked the two bedroom cave with private pool. The service was exceptional. Everything was smooth, no stress. The food and drink were lovely. Having breakfast delivered daily to your own terrace was a lovely touch. Walkable to the main part of Oia along the cobbled streets. Amazing experience. So happy we booked it.

I can't give this place enough of a good review. The service industry and hotel customer service has gone down big time over the last few years (coming from someone who travels full time). However, Maregio Suites is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. You get every single penny's worth. The staff is so helpful and nice, the property itself is unbelievable. The breakfast daily is delivered right to your own balcony, and is delicious, as is the dinner. The hotel was also very helpful in organizing airport transfers for us, and ATV rentals during our stay. Plus, the room is incredibly spacious, I think around 600 square feet (which is 2-3x most hotels in Oia. Highly recommend.

Unique & Beautiful Cave-Room in Santorini
This was one of the most unique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Your room is huge and built into the cliff side so you’re in a cave-like room. The bathroom was a huge cave-like room with an awesome rainfall shower head. We had a private small pool that the staff could make cooler or warmer, and you have a perfect, unobstructed view of the Santorini sunset. The hotel was beautiful and clean, and that staff was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay in the 2 bed cave villa. The location is perfect to explore Oia. It’s only a few mins away from the shopping streets and castle and the sunset views over the caldera are stunning.

Very disappointing but made the most of it. We booked this property 9 months ago & we didn’t get the room we expected to get at the time of booking. This was my husband’s choice of stay (we stayed at my choice villa for 2 nights then this property for 3 nights). We booked a deluxe villa with (infinity) outdoor heated plunge pool overlooking the Aegean Sea as the photos showed over and over again, only to get a room that was not the photos. Management told my husband and I that we needed to have emailed them requesting for that specific room since we booked a category of rooms, & not a specific room, they made us feel like it was our fault. We were so upset & disappointed, it was false advertising, & management didn’t do much to rectify the situation. Since every room was sold out and not many hotels were available last minute, also we didn’t want to waste our day… we made the most of it. In the end of our stay, they did make attempts to smooth out the problem- with a very romantic dinner with beautiful rose petals all over our patio, and they surprisingly waived our room service bill ($150) at the time of check out. Overall it is a very spacious and beautiful property, just beyond upsetting and disappointing that we didn’t get what we paid for. Not sure if we’ll stay here again.

We've been traveling Greece for 3 weeks and this was our favorite spot. You have the perfect view of the sunset from your room. Each room has a patio with a table and chairs. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast on the patio. There is also a heated pool, lounge chairs and more. The rooms were beautiful and roomy. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we arrived early. They gave us a small room with a bathroom and shower to use and store our luggage until our room was ready. They arranged all our transfers to and from the airport and ferry. On our first night they sent a complimentary bottle of white wine. They have a nice pool and bar area to reax. I could go on and on...Maregio is the place to stay in Santorini!

Such an amazing stay at Maregio!! The hotel was so beautiful! The views were the most amazing. Important to note that there aren’t many hotels in Oia that have a direct line of sight of the Sunset so Maregio is so unique in that aspect. We were able to watch the sunset right infront or our suite!! I believe all the suites have the same views at this hotel! I’m not a breakfast person but wow!!! Every single day our breakfast spread blew us away!! So delicious and so many options! But what’s even amazing about Maregio suits is the staff!! Everyone was sooo amazing and kind and helpful! They made our stay very comfortable and went above and beyond!! Thank you so much! I’d absolutely stay here again!!

We spent 5 nights here while celebrating our engagement and it is one of the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. We spent time in 2 different rooms (deluxe suite and the junior suite) and both were spacious, well decorated, and had all the toiletries you could need. The bed was big and comfy and the plunge pool right outside was a nice touch. Breakfast was great and was brought to the balcony. The views were also amazing and watching the sunset from the balcony was everything. I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place.

If there's anywhere to stay in Oia it's definitely Maregio Suites. Both front desk people were truly amazing and helped us out with whatever we needed. It is also the perfect place to see the sunset. Food was amazing and it was served quickly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Oia.

Really nice hotel, rooms are very spacious and unique to other hotels in Santorini, the staff are very helpful and kind. The only down side will be you can hear other people looking at the sunset above your room, and at this moment there is a lot of noise.

We booked this accommodation as we hoped it would be in the same location we viewed the sunset from 17 years ago plus it had such great reviews. OMG this place completely blew us away! Everything from the daily breakfast service delivered direct to our room, the excellent room service (nothing was too much), the help with getting bags to and from the room, the pool bar service (free smoothie) plus the amazing sunset views every night was truly astounding from our private terrace with plunge pool. The best bit is its close enough to the centre of Oia and yet completely quiet, secluded and off the beaten track. Highly Highly Recommended

It was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at! The room was big and very beautiful. We loved the bedroom and spacious bathroom. The hot tub/pool was fun and very big and we enjoyed it every morning and night. The best part of the hotel is the breakfast in the morning. It is the most amazing and delicious breakfast you will have and the view while you are eating is almost unreal. The staff was very attentive and always so helpful. They helped with reservations and anything we asked for. We loved every moment of our stay there and cant wait to come back.

Amazing Experience!
We had the most amazing stay at Maregio. Our only regret was not staying longer! Everything was perfect, from the location, to the beautiful, spacious room, to the pools, and most notably, the incredible staff. The service at Maregio is incredible! The view from the property overlooking the ocean is truly breathtaking and being able to enjoy an amazing breakfast on your private room terrace every morning is such a treat. It was our favorite part of the day! Maregio exceeded my expectations in every way. It's located in a perfect, quiet area of Oia. Also, we were working remotely and the Wifi was strong enough for video calls. We stayed at 3 different hotels while in Santorini and this was our favorite! Highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Santorini!

Booked a last minute stay during covid times (last sunday). Very lucky as we got a great deal of 180 per room booking with 24hrs notice. But they only had one room as it was fully booked.

Excellent property which is well maintained with friendly staff. My only criticism is although in the description of the suite it is called as a \"private plunge pool\", what we really got in the suite (honeymoon suite #7) is an outdoor jacuzzi. As there are seven honeymoon suites in the property, the photos I saw in the booking page for the suite were not really of the suite I actually got which is decided by the management. They should have actual photos of the studio being booked and not of other studios of same category.

The BEST experience!
My wife and I stayed at Maregio Suites and I wish I had the words to describe how magical the entire experience was. From the minute we have arrived everything has been incredible, being met at our taxi and having our bags carried down the steps, checking in and being given free bottle of wine, breakfast delivered to our balcony every morning. Our Junior Suite 1 room was brand new, super stylish with breathtaking views of the sunset. And to top it all off you get your own private hot tub. Lovely hotel with a few small drawbacks
We stayed as a couple in August 2020, in a “Deluxe Villa” room. Overall it was lovely, but a couple of small setbacks stopped it being 10/10.
The jacuzzi in our room was cold on arrival. The first member of staff to attempt fixing it was unsuccessful, and failed to follow up. Thankfully we asked someone else the next day, who also failed but did successfully follow up and eventually the pool was warm. But this was over 24hrs after our arrival. For €500/night I don’t think it would be too much for them to check these things before guests’ arrival.
There was an air vent in our walk-in closet which (we think) linked to the patio of a neighbouring room. This meant that as our neighbours were smoking, the cigarette smoke came through the vent, and unfortunately our clothes were left smelling of smoke for most of our stay, which wasn’t ideal for us as non-smokers.
Other than this, everything was pretty much awesome. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful in making suggestions and reservations for us when needed. Securing some prime tables at the top restaurants in town.
The breakfasts were absolutely fabulous.
The sunset views were absolutely sublime, and being able to watch them from the privacy your room’s deck, away from the crowds (most of Oia doesn’t have a sunset view, so crowds flock to the area of the hotel at sunset) was fabulous. The price you pay for this is that it’s probably ~10 minutes walk to the center of town. Lots of stairs!

Beautiful location in Santorini where you can relax. Loved the daily sunset views right outside our room. This location is unique offering a “cave” room experience! It was beautiful and open. This was a great place for our honeymoon. FYI there are a bit of steps to take but worth it for the views and privacy.

The honeymoon suites are incredible. Beautiful sunset, cozy room, amazing private plunge pool, delicious breakfast. Only 5 minutes walk to Oia centre. Lia from the hotel is very helpful and friendly. She has gave me restaurant recommendations which are very good (Candouni is the best). Maregio is a extremely romantic place. I will come back for sure!!

An incredible experience from start to finish! In a nutshell, for this price, there are many better properties on the island to stay. If you are a couple seriously considering this hotel for a getaway, please read all details below and reconsider. Here is what we felt was lacking, and why it should not be in the \"luxury hotel\" category:
- NO PRIVACY: No matter which suite you choose, every other person on the property can see onto each of the \"private\" balconies and even into your entire suite if they like. The staff walks next to/in front of your balconies continually and WILL look inside at you.
- UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS: So much so that it was very difficult to get a good night's rest. We're generally very solid sleepers, but not here. We woke up every morning feeling drained and like we needed an extra 2 hours of sleep from tossing and turning all night.
- OUTDATED BATHROOMS: Only 1 sink, toilet has no privacy and glass bathroom door does not close all the way. The cave shower also flooded the entire bathroom every time we used it.
- STAFF WILL WALK IN ON YOU: The staff often will come in without you giving them permission because you cannot hear them knocking from the far away doors. The staff on one occasion walked in on my wife completely naked and just turned and stood laughing in the corner rather than exiting immediately.
- NOT A GREAT BREAKFAST: This was by far the least desirable breakfast we had in Greece.
- This feels very much like a $500-$800/night property, not a $1,500/night property. Keep looking.

He really made our stay a 5+ star experience. Lea is there by day and she makes every effort to make sure you have what you need. This effort also applies to their baggage, room, food and drink staff as well. They are all great and go the extra effort to make sure you don’t have to lift a finger and can enjoy your vacation. We tipped modestly for every service because they all deserved it. Thank you for going the extra effort for our stay and we enjoyed our talks at night with Michael about NYC and Greece!

Maregio Suites is perfectly located towards the northern end of Oia, so the crowds in town definitely thin out and it is very peaceful and quiet in the area. The photos are truly real to life - the plunge pool and view of the caldera were amazing. Every night we were able to watch the beautiful Santorini sunset from our balcony. Directly below the hotel is Ammoudi Bay so we were able to watch lots of boats dock throughout the day. The suites are spacious and the plunge pool heavenly. We were able to order breakfast every day and since we were there for so long our gracious host also offered to make us something off menu in case we needed a change! Truly the accommodation and service cannot be beat. The entire staff were so friendly and helpful. We cannot recommend Maregio Suites enough - it is paradise!
