Hotel itself was fine. Location was technically in Shibuya but the crossing is a 15 min walk. Washer is in all Japanese and the instruction card isn't very helpful. Expect eight hours to do a load of laundry. It's a very small washer and the drying part takes hours and it still comes out damp, just how these are. The room air conditioner works fine but it's very hard to operate as again, it's all in Japanese and the instruction sheet they give you in English isn't all that helpful. There's no actual breakfast provided, there was a sign that said you could get something from the lobby and make it with the hotplate and microwave in the room. No view, its surrounded by other buildings. Again, it's fine for what it is. Its safe and clean.

Coffee shop in house (small but has coffee) great facilities in room including fridge, microwave, hot plate, washer/dryer, balcony, TV, air conditioner, comfortable beds and lounge area. Amazing shower and bathroom area, definitely the highlight for us!

Just Checked out from our stay and now heading to next destination. Cannot fault this place and lived up my expectations. The room was big enough for a 3 night stay and had also a washing machine/sink area which was handy and the amenities and hairdryer was great. The cleaning service is only every 7days but towels and rubbish collection is whenever day you require when you put the sign on the door.
Receptionist was really friendly and extremely helpful especially when i enquiried about luggage forwarding to my next hotel.
Location is perfect. Familymart and supermarkets on the doorstep. Its close enough to the shopping action/Shibuya station (15mins walk)
Will definitely recommend and stay here again on my next trip.

Hotel was clean. Love that there was a washer/dryer in the room. They even provided laundry detergent spray. So that was a huge plus. There is a mini kitchen area that had a fridge/freezer, microwave and an electric stove & Kettle. Dish soap and Sponge along with basic kitchen utensils were provided. Very awesome to have!

I was there for 5 nights and they were only able to change towels and take out trash, no daily room cleaning, so that was a bummer. Bed and pillows were not comfortable for me but it’s durable. There was no Breakfast at the hotel. You would need to go out to get breakfast at restaurants near by. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Basic necessities such as bath scrubber, cotton pads, toothbrush, and etc. were near the lobby elevators. You would need to grab when needed.

To get to Shibuya crossing was about 15 minutes by walk. But plenty restaurants near by, Lawson, 7-11, and family mart all around. If you arrive early to check in time you can leave your luggage there until you check in. Check out time is 11am and you are able to leave your luggage if you’re still needing to explore around shibuya. So awesome!

I would recommend this hotel as it’s a very big hotel room compared to others I’ve booked. Location was in a nice and quiet alley.

Good sized room by Japanese standards and the room had a combo washer / dryer as well which was super convenient! Quiet, clean and a helpful staff made this a very enjoyable experience.

Hotel has no restaurant but sells a breakfast you can microwave in your room (yuck). However, there is a grocery store RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET that sells pastries, jam, prepared meals, and all sorts of fruits that is HUGELY convenient.

Be advised that the location is a bit out of the way, so you are not in the heart of the bustle of Shibuya, but to us this is a blessing as we found the energy of the central area to be overwhelming and exhausting… only drawback to us was having to drag our luggage the half mile or so from where the airport bus dropped us at Shibuya station.

LOTS of little restaurants around, bars too, so that won’t be an issue.

Had our room had a view of something other than the building next door this might have gotten 5 stars given the price and overall quality.

Wow! This hotel is spotlessly clean!! Our room had a washer/dryer combo which was super convenient. The room was small enough to be comfy yet well laid out so it didn’t seem cramped. Reception was really friendly with a nice lounge area. Free amenities were available in the lounge, and a 24hr convenience store right across the street. Close to many restaurants and stores. This hotel is one of the nicest I've ever stayed and definitely the cleanest.

Location is convenient and 10 minutes away from SHIBUYA crossing. You are at a walkable distance from the lively area of shopping, eating and city that never sleeps.
Only complain is that hotel don’t provide housekeeping services daily. They only provide towel change everyday but full house keeping after 5 days of stay.

We really liked our room and the hotel. The only problem we had was that at around 6am someone near by was drumming a tune. For about an hours for two mornings. I even tried to put on my headphones but you could still hear it. A very repetitive drumming sound.

Perfect hotel for family with 4 year old toddler! The room is big enough and has great amenities including washer/dryer and small kitchenette. The staff were extremely attentive, kind and hospitable! There is a play corner in the lobby that had toys, Japanese dress up clothes and coloring supplies that my daughter enjoyed very much. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Nice small hotel is located close to Shibya crossing, very conveient location. It doesn't have an option for breakfast, so it's inconvient. Thanks to this inconvenience, we found out about delicious egg sandwich and milk pudding at Family Mart or 7- Eleven. My room sink didn't work properly; the sink cover didn't stay up, so water could not get drained. Bathtub was also drained very slowly.

This hotel is conveniently located near many amenities that are easily accesed walking. The area is very safe and extremely clean. The locals are very friendly with many speaking clear english. The staff are also very friendly and helpfull. Our room was fairly clean and the hotel is quiet . The only negative was we found several hairs in the washroom in our room when we checked in! Would definetly stay here again. Friendly and safe day and night.

Roam is small. As expected in Tokyo. Staff was very helpful. It’s conveniently located. Roam had a congested feeling to it.
I am surprised that hotel was not clean. Hair in the shower and on the bed when I chanced in. Usually hotel roams in Japan can be small but incredibly clean .

Location is in the centre of Shibuya however the surrounding area of the hotel is nice, quiet and safe. Its close to public transport, restaurants, shopping and convenient stores are on every corner. Hotel is clean, staff and service were great. Very friendly helpful english speaking staff.

Spacious room with comfy beds and a washer and dryer! There was also a dining space which we enjoyed. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Shibuya station, it’s downhill to the station and uphill back. There are tons of restaurant options close by. It’s near enough to the craziness of Shibuya Crossing but far enough away that the crowds thin out before the hotel and it’s in a more peaceful area. I would stay here again! The staff are also great and stored our luggage for us the day we checked out.

This was a great place to stay. It's walkable to the main Shibuya shopping and restaurants, but on a quieter street. The immediate area around the hotel has neighborhood bars, restaurants, a grocery, pharmacy, 7-11, etc, so there's convenience no matter what. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

I was a bit skeptical in booking a hotel in Tokyo as I read about how small the rooms would be but the twin room we got is very spacious and has a small kitchenette and washing/dryer machine! Outside the hotel, there are plenty of small restaurants and a small grocery and pharmacy. It’s a bit of a walk to Shibuya crossing but not too bad. The walk was a pain when we came home from shopping at Mega Donki.

It’s within walking distance of Shibuya station, but be aware that means 10-20 minutes depending on you and luggage. It’s not near the main entrance but a back way in via a mall.

Otherwise it’s exactly what the Tokyo Stay brand provides: compact but adequate, with a washer dryer and mini kitchen in every room and basic facilities for luggage and coffee in the lobby.

What a wonderful place to stay in a new country. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. The room was clean, roomy and had a washing/drying combo. I was able to fly back to the US with clean clothes! Its within walking distance to two subway stations - plus a mall that's attached to hotel (Mark Story Hotel) which also lets you off at Shibuya Scramble Crossing.

There were lots of cute small restaurants to eat, but if on a budget - There is a Family Mart, Lawsons and 7-11 that served very good meals as well. There is also a local supermarket right across from the entrance.

Lastly they will hold your luggage if you come earlier than check out and a few hours after check out. So you get the most out of your trip in Tokyo. They also hailed us a taxi to the airport. If I go to Japan again I will stay here again.
