Terrific location if you want to be close to the chaos of Shibuya but not in it. There were great little restaurants nearby and a grocery store directly across the street. Coffee shops don’t open early in Tokyu but the lobby cafe serves a great brew from 7am. We stayed 8 nights and appreciated having a kitchenette and washer/dryer.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. This hotel is very close to a station, so getting around is pretty easy. Tons of eating establishments close by. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the Shibuya Station and famous Crossing. We only gave four stars for the amenities due to finding the bed hard. The staff were amazing, we had to ask for an iron, and it was given immediately. We would not hesitate in booking this place again.

We loved our long stay at Tokyu Stay Shibuya. The location was perfect for us, 5 minute walk to Shinsen station and a 10 mininute walk to Shibuya station. So many excellent eateries in close proximity to this hotel. Outside the main hustle and bustle of Shibuya city center, we enjoyed the quiet location of this hotel.

The staff was so nice and helped us with any issues we had. So impressed with everyone we encountered. Having a kitchenette and washer/dryer in the room made our long stay more like apartment living. We cooked in the room (even has an exhaust fan) on many days and the laundry allowed us to pack fewer clothes for our trip. There is a Maruetsu Market across the street from the hotel that has plenty of fresh food offerings that help your food budget.

Our room had a small balcony with a door and screen that allowed fresh air (of course the AC worked great too). The night time weather was cool enough during our stay that we slept with the door open on the cooler evenings (we were on 9th floor so street noise was not a problem). The room had two full size beds (4' wide) that could be slid together to make a supersized king bed. There were only two of us so this was more than we really needed. Would have preferred a queen sized bed and a bit more floor space but the flexibility of the additional bed space may work better for more than 2.

We would 100% choose to stay here again if we return to Tokyo.

I wouldn’t stay here again. There a problem with the room being so humid that the whole thing smell like feet when I got in there and then after that the whole feeling of staying there was lousy I like the people of course it’s not really their fault but you know it’s better to stay in a nicer place. I think the relative crappy of the motel gave a bad impression for the whole city. I wouldn’t stay here again.

It’s not any fault of the excellent staff. The rooms had high humidity resulting in stinky feet smell.

This is a problem of dehumidifiers and of AC that only turns on if the key card is inserted in the wall.

It had the vibe of college student hostels.

The smoking area was very poorly lit as well and not ideal. It felt like at afterthought.

It’s not a luxury hotel, I know, but man, staying there gave a not so good impression on Tokyo as a whole. Take my advice and spend more for a better place!
It’s a motel that I’m not going back to.

Breakfast? What breakfast? You get a great coffee but there’s no breakfast there!
Forget about it.

Stayed here for 8 nights. The property is clise to everything but not in the middle of the “chaos” . The room had a washer which was A+++ .It also had a fridge and a microwave.

I call this place my home in Tokyo, that's how comfortable it is.

To start off, the location is close to the shibuya station but not close enough so you're hearing and seeing the noise.

The deluxe rooms are spacious, you can do laundry in your room and cook as well.

I love buying take out or just eating convince food when im tired from all the walking & people while I chill in my room and watch TV.

The staffs are all friendly and helpful, they are always willing to make it work for you.

This was my third time staying here but I will always choose this location tokyu stay.

Thank you for making my trip as comfortable as my home!!!

Our family had two rooms and we loved every minute of minute here. It’s an adorable hip little pocket that is very quiet, a 2 min walk to 7-ll and 15 min walk all to Shibuya train station. Beds were so nice and I loved the bathtub at night to soak.

Small, but not as small as other budget hotels. Still had a little space to sit. Washer/Dryer came in clutch because it did rain a few days while we were there. 24 hour grocery store across the street was also a plus. Fridge, microwave and hot plate in the room so we were able to stock up on snacks and drinks. Maybe a mile walk to Shibuya crossing. Near an alley with restaurants and bars.

This hotel was wonderful! The location is great and close to shibuya crossing, but it is tucked away enough so that it’s much more peaceful and quiet. There’s a 7/11 and lawson not even a 2 minute walk away. The staff here are incredibly friendly and very helpful. The cafe was great and the laundry worked well! I couldn’t recommend a stay here enough. When we go back we will likely be booking here again.

The staff was friendly, and the room’s washer/dryer and small kitchenette were very convenient. However, the room felt extremely humid because the electricity (including the air conditioning) only worked when the room key card was inserted into the wall slot. This meant we couldn’t keep the air conditioning running while we were out, so we often returned to a hot, uncomfortable room after spending the day outside.
We were also disappointed by the hotel’s early check-in policy. They charge an extra fee for early room access, and the fee increases based on the number of guests staying in the room and the number of hours before check-in. We found this unreasonable, especially since our luggage had already been delivered to the room, which suggested it was ready. We understand that early check-in cannot always be accommodated, but when a room is prepared, allowing guests access would create a much more welcoming first impression and improve the overall guest experience.

The hotel and room was clean. It has a good bed, some kitchen utensils, and washer/dryer in the room that was very convenient. Bathroom had standard amenities. Wish they had provided tea/coffee in the room. About 15 minute walk to Shibuya station, or can walk about 5 minutes to the closest station for transfers.

Location is about a 12 minute walk from Shibuya crossing. We booked a family room that with two double beds that is more spacious than the average Japanese hotel room. Space and in-room laundry was the key in my decision to book this hotel. The staff is friendly. There are some really great restaurants within a stone's throw of the hotel.

The room is very spacious for a Tokyo hotel. Washer/dryer in room is quiet and works wonderfully. The blow dryers are as good as my Dyson. Thefront desk will forward luggage, call a taxi anything you need. Bathroom has heated mirror, huge spacious tub/shower. Location is IDEAL out of the Shibuya craziness but a quick 5 min walk to it. Across from a wonderful grocery store to get water, snacks, meals if needed. 10/10 will recommend and stay again.

Great area with tons of fantastic restaurants, convenience stores, markyjust steps away and a few blocks from the main drag. Just a short walk to Shibuya Crossing and walk auto Harajuku as well! This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Shibuya Crossing and station making it very central to any travel area within Tokyo. The hotel was clean, room was large enough for having 2 open suitcases and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. My favorite things were that the room had a washer/dryer unit to use for free as well as ReFa hair products for the bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back!

The staff also speak english for those who are not fluent in Japanese. They will help you to hail a taxi when it’s time for you to return to airport. The gentleman in at the desk also helped to bring my suitcase to the taxi even though he didn’t have to. Such an amazing hotel. Great coffee shop in lobby. Washer/ dryer in our room so it was so easy to do our laundry. Mini stove and bigger fridge with pots making cooking accessible and microwave in room as well. We were able to make everything in our room rather than leaving to use a microwave or washer/ dryer. Very clean and very sweet staff.

They let us deliver our bags and kept them for us for a few days before we arrive to our hotel which eased the burden on us. Even after we checked out they held onto our bags before we had to leave to the airport.

Would 100% recommend. Great spot in shibuya walking to shops and crossing was soo easy

we stayed 4 nights at this hotel. The outside of the building doesn't look like much, but the rooms are nicely renovated. Our room was very small though, so not sure if we will stay there again. Also, it was a bit of a walk to Shibuya Station. You can also use the closer Shinsen station, but then you still have to change at Shibuya Station.

Though, some of the amenities were slightly lower quality (small elevators, lower water pressure, beds pushed together to make a queen etc.,), they also have several features to make it appear more accommodating than a typical business hotel, such as the free coffee/cafe drinks per stay- however the drinks are made by the front desk staff, so it’s difficult to get a coffee in th morning while everyone’s checking out etc.
