This hotel is a little far from the station (about a 10 minute walk), which is fine when you're not hauling luggage with you. The room was perfectly adequate, but they do seem to use a lot of air freshener in the hallways (to the point that it was a little suffocating). Most of the staff are not Japanese, but they speak English! Otherwise, it's located in a great area of Shibuya with plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes, and konbini near by!

This was my second time staying here in 2 years. Overall Location was great, close to major spots and transportation without feeling overwhelming, Staff was friendly and helpful and luggage storage and forwarding was efficient, convenient and secured. Our first stay in Oct 2024 was good, only issue was the thermostat was wonky- it would not cool and felt very humid. In Nov 25 the room was good sized but the toilet was not securely fastened to floor so an odor would escape. and there was a mystery brown stain splatter on the curtains next to the toilet. Under t he beds are NOT cleaned. Inches of dust and i found someone else socks and debris/receipts dated months ago. Overall I would stay again- you get what you pay for.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be more satisfied. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with all the amenities you could ask for. The bed was very comfortable, and everything felt fresh and welcoming. Housekeeping did a great job throughout the stay.

The location was perfect, convenient and close to restaurants, shops. The hotel facilities were well kept, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.

Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a pleasant stay.

This is my 2nd stay at this hotel.
Unfortunately, this time's experience wasn't that great.
The room was extremely dusty.
You could see the dust flying in the room. The aircon itself was dirty and the space underneath the bed was also dusty too.
So other than convenience, the stay was not ideal

This property is conveniently located in Shibuya. Walking distance to Shibuya crossing, Hachiko’s statue and Shibuya station. There are also a lot of dining and shopping options surrounding the hotel.

The hotel staff are warm, friendly, and very accommodating. Our room was always clean, and towels are replenished daily.

CONDOM WRAPPER IN THE BED!!! I had booked 2 rooms for 10 days. We arrived at 10pm and with in 2 hours checked out!!! It was horrible. First off there was no hot water to the entire hotel. There were multiple guest complaining in the lobby when I first went down. The staff said they were working on it but no idea when it would be working. I said ok if it’s working by morning I could deal with it. But the real kicker was when my wife pulled back the sheets there was a CONDOM WRAPPER in our bed, at that point I was DONE!!! I checked out myself, wife, and Mother immediately at midnight and had to find a new place while lugging out suitcases through Tokyo in the middle of the night. Expedia was great and got me a full refund. It’s also in a very loud club area and the bathrooms smelled like sewer. I highly reccommend staying away from this hotel.

The location of this hotel is perfect, you’re right in the heart of everything, with shops, restaurants, and transport all within easy reach.

Like many hotels in Japan, the room can feel a bit compact, especially if you have large luggage, as there isn’t much space to open your suitcases comfortably.

The staff were genuinely amazing and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Every time I had a question or needed assistance, they went out of their way to make sure everything was sorted quickly.

The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was unfortunately the weakest connection I experienced during my entire trip, hardly works. If you plan to stay here, I’d recommend ensuring you have mobile data ready, especially if you rely on a stable internet connection.

The broken garbage bags and filth from the bar across the street from the hotel were strewn everywhere, including the entryway to the Shibuya Hotel En. The stench was there as you entered. Other clients entered the hotel yelling and bumping walls from their clubbing and drinking until 4 AM. However, those greeting at the desk were courteous, kind, and helpful.

Everything was great, the room was a bit smaller than I anticipated but other than that it was a great room. Only stayed for 2 nights, the second day there, we were given a new set of towels that were left on our door since we didn’t request a cleanup. Everything was clean, the shampoo and body wash were great and had such a relaxing smell. They even provided with a room spray which again it had such a good and relaxing smell. I only saw 1 flaw and that’s honestly inevitable when you’re in Japan as it’s very humid here. But the restrooms have blinds and I saw a bit of mold on the cord of the blinds. Other than that everything was great, staff was easy to communicate with, I even got a call about 30 min before midnight making sure I was still going to check in. I would definitely come back! Ohh aaannddd it’s right in the middle of EVERYTHING!! Mega donquijote was walking distance, shibuya crosswalk was walking distance too

The hotel is in a great location. 7 minute walk to the train station and lots of restaurants. The bathroom had glass walls but they did have blinds you could pull down. The hotel staff were happy to look after our bags on check out.

There is a bar right outside a lot of young adults liked to hang out at, but couldn't hear it at all in the room. We visited on trash day so everyone's garbage was out early in the morning, and we left before it was all cleaned up, so cannot say what the cleanliness of the area is normally like. The hotel itself is FABULOUS! We are large sized and it did not feel cramped even in bathroom. We only stayed one night but i would come again. Donquiote store and shibuya crossing are like a 5 min walk away.

Cute boutique rooms, we were on L8 and had a nice big window with a small balcony. Loved the natural light. All staff spoke English. Please note that the bathroom is in the centre of the room, right next to the bed, with clear glass around it (you could close curtains/blinds but could still see through a bit) and opposite a mirror - fine for solo travellers but not much privacy for room-sharing. Great location, around the corner from Don Quijote Mega/H&M/Starbucks and short walking distance to Shibuya station/Scramble Square, shops etc. It's on the edge of 'Love Hotel Hill' and there are plenty of clubs and bars around - great location for some nightlife but also not too loud - we could hear a bit of club noise until about 1am on Friday night but it wasn't too bad, the windows are mostly soundproof. Enjoyed our 2 free water bottles and pottery tea cups in the room. Nice double wardrobe. Double bed was big enough for 2 middle-sized adults and there was plenty of room on the bench for our 2 bags, plus an extra suitcase stand. Would stay again.

For Tokyo the room was a good size. The staff were excellent andcvery helpful. We loved the area that the hotel was in. Station and Shibuya Crossing a few minutes wslk awsy. Lots of choice of restaurants and bars nearby. We loved the little bar across the road from the hotel. We met many lovely people there whilst stitting on stools at the bar.

Excellent location! Literally around the corner from shopping and Shibuya Crossing. Room was clean, had a closet for storage and staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom/shower area is a big cubed glass window with curtains (just be prepared when traveling with family). For those booking due to the anime themeing, like me, just know that is only on floor 2 if you would like to request in advance. There is a 7-11 feet away which is nice for quick snacks and exchange of $/ATM use.

Convenient location if you need to stay in Shibuya area.
There's a karaoke nearby that we heard people sing at 5 am the 2 nights we stayed. The rooms are tiny but have what you need
I found the bathroom inconvenient to get in and out of because of a step and door which isn't great if you have mobility issues.

If you arrive from main street by train station ok walk but on first night we approached from the back road and it was a hike
We wanted to stay in Shibuya area but it's where we saw the most intoxicated people of the whole trip. Still super safe though

The neighbourhood was great, walking distance to the Shibuya station which had connections to multiple subway lines as well as the Narita Express train to the airport.
There were tons of restaurants nearby and easy to get to other parts of Tokyo by subway.
The hotel lobby was nice, but the room was tiny, even by Japan standards. It was the tiniest of the 3 hotels during our trip to Japan, I believe it was 100 sq feet. The room was also in need of small upgrades and although it was rather clean, it was not perfectly clean and had a bit of a damp smell to it.
I read some other reviews about noise coming from the bar across the street. This bar is very noisy but luckily we were not facing the front so we did not hear any noise.
This hotel does not have breakfast, nor a restaurant.

We stayed at this hotel one night. With taxes, we paid 456.00 CAD. It might have been worth 150.00 at most. Its a small room, this is fairly standard at most hotels in Japan, so expected that. No amenities in the room, you could pick them up at the front desk, fine, for the cost, I think they could have put them in the room. Other hotels we stayed at for less, were always stocked.
It’s obviously an old hotel and it was not that clean in the rooms. There is no bedside table or light. There is also only one plugin beside the bed. It’s a small convenience most hotels have. There is a ledge above the bed, so used that to leave my phone.
Our hallway was bright and cheery, which was lovely, but the floor our friends were on was black. It was a bit off putting for them.
It’s definitely a party area too. I mean that is great people are having a good time for sure! However, there were hotels in the area that rented rooms by the hour. I mean it said to rest for short periods of time, but I’m not sure that’s the intent.
It is close to the train station and many bars and restaurants. It feels like a shady area though. If I had known more about the Shibuya area, we probably would not have stayed there and just took a train to visit.
Back to the staff,when we checked in, it was quick and efficient. There was what looked like a lounge area, so we thought we’d have a drink. We asked the front staff and were told it was for pancakes only or go ask ourselves. In short I don’t recommend it

This is a super unique property. We were shocked when we got out of the hotel and saw how amazing the hallway was! So cool! The room itself was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was so nice too. The bed was sooo comfortable. The only thing we noticed was how incredibly loud the housekeeping person was. It was really jarring. Slamming doors and we could hear them cleaning nearly every room on our floor. Other than that our stay was lovely and we will be back!

This a boutique hotel in Shibuya and great location. I really liked the personnel who worked there. Spoke excellent English and the hard wood floors in the room (versus carpeting) feels so clean and comfortable. Slept very well. Highly recommend! You can order uber eats if you miss room service! The only thing that I would recommend for improvement is to have coin laundry machines . I would have lengthened my stay if they had laundry facility on site. But they did offer directions on where to go to wash and dry clothes.

Little gem in heart of Shibuya district

Great location, 1/4mi from the shibuya scramble and train station, and one street removed from the hustle and bustle of the area. Small room but comfortable beds, instant coffee and tea in room, great shower pressure and the hardest working little bidet at your service 24 hours a day! lol

Very little noise from the street could be heard, and there was so much to see and do nearby. Great choice!

The only positive thing to say is about the staff, they are nice and willing to help.
Too much noise, the problem is they turned off the general AC and the room is too hot (even in November! That makes the worse possible convinantion (Noisy surrounding Open windows).
Dirty room. The rug was dirty all around, the bathroom full of mold.
The bathroom have no privacy at all, dont think the curtain helps.
They werent able to get us a taxi.
There is no restaurant working in the hotel.

Space was sufficient. Very close walking to mega don quijote and restaurants. Very convenient for people who are at Tokyo for shopping and eating!
Con-dusts seen in light bulb area and under the beds ( I had to push over to modify floor space to pack my bags). Staffs were very nice.

Great things about this hotel is how quiet it is although it’s located on a busy/bar street. It is good for people who want to go out at night in Shibuya and walk back to hotel.

Bad things about this hotel are it is very dirty; the carpet floor doesn’t look like it’s been vacuumed or cleaned in a long time. I saw hair on the carpet and in the bathroom. Another reviewer mentioned seeing a layer of dust in their bathroom - that was also true during my stay. The hotel is located in shibuya and we had to cross the scramble every time to take the JR lines, which was very overwhelming with luggage.

Nice hotel. Staff nice and helpful. Hotel is by train and plenty of taxis. Rooms were nice and we had s double bed 30 square feet which was good size. The bathroom nice but bathtub small and too deep, making it hard to step over. No long mirrors in room. Rooms clean, we stayed on 21st floor nice view, there is alot of shopping and food 1 minute away. 711 is 1 minute away. There's a nice bar and restaurant in hotel. They will hold your luggage. Check out is 11am over 4,000 yen for late check out which is way too much.
