Really nice central hotel. Able to walk to Shibuya crossing and all the near by attractions. Nice staff- we’ll be back. We booked this hotel with 3 adults and we got a room with 3 beds.

Very clean property with an amazing staff. Rooms are on the small size, as can be expected in Tokyo. Good location - 5-minute walk to Shibuya Station and 10 minutes to Shibuya Crossing. Even though the property sits next to the railway station, you cannot hear any train or traffic noise. The breakfast buffet was not to my liking at all, and it was marketed on Expedia as \"Top rated Breakfast\" (which convinced me to book this place). It was traditional Japanese breakfast foods, mostly fish-based food. I love Asian food, but not first thing in the morning. Also, they only had one coffee machine for everyone, which caused a bit of a backup. All I wanted was some toast, yogurt, and maybe muesli (none of which they had), so I went to Dean and Deluca, which was nearby. The A/C in the room was sufficient, but it took a while to cool down, and I don't think it ever got down to the temperature I set it at. Also, keep in mind that you only get one bath towel and handtowel per person. No extras. This is a very good 3 star hotel - clean, good location, and I definitely got a good night's rest. Next time, I would probably pay a little more to get a bit more space.

difficult to find the actual location and no clear instruction specially how to get there exactly from shibuya station and asking around is useless since Japanese doesnt even know the name Hotel Mets, one Japanese guy said they dont know this hotel and it turns out when I look up around saw a building with a big sign \"JR East Hotel Mets\" just staring at us, just unfortunate I asked a wrong person, anyway we were able to finally checked-in 2-hours after getting out of the train station

The hotel is a lot nicer than their photos do them justice. The location is great, a short walk to Shibuya crossing and all other tourist spots like the pokemon center and don quijote. Also located above a subway station! The bed was very comfortable and the room was great. I would for sure stay here again.

Excellent hotel on the quiet side of Shibuya Stream. Walk through the shopping center and it leads you straight into the heart of Shibuya and Shibuya Crossing. Hotel is clean, staff is excellent and helpful. Will stay again on my next trip.

Enjoyed my stay here. It is about 5-10 walk upon leaving the Yamanote Line by following the New South Gate exit. It was easily walkable following signs as well as lift options whilst I was dragging around 2 suitcases. The area hotel was nice and quiet and its about a 10 minute walk to reach the main Shibuya crossing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One thing which could be improved is the breakfast options and variety and the room temperature, as it very cold with the air con on which would also make some of the food get cold fairly quickly. Other than that room was nice and spacious and would probably stay here again in the future.

Room was nice and large for a Shibuya area Hotel. Price was fair. Check in was straight forward. Room was clean! Amenities bountiful albeit on the 4th floor lobby. Construction was set up on the exterior facade, but it wasn’t actively underway because it was New Year’s Eve. Bathroom area was well appointed. The hotel was super close to the famous shibuya crossing and all the shopping. It took a while to get the washer dryer going due to language barrier, but we eventually got it. Only thing was the 1 ply toilet paper even with the bidet/magic toilet.

Excellent location! About a 10 or so minute walk to Shibuya Centre in one direction and a 10 minute walk to Daikanyama in the other direction. Very close to the train station. Room was clean and relatively spacious for Tokyo standards. Staff were lovely and very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in a deluxe twin residential style room. It was small for 3 people but the beds were comfortable. The room came with a washer/dryer which was very convenient. The location is walking distance to restaurant and shopping, and the area was quiet. We will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay, good location and close to everything we wanted. We walked everywhere. Lots of good food options. There was some sticky residue on the desk that we cleaned off. Our ac vent was making a loud noise the first night but when we let the staff know, they fixed it right away. The hotel were very apologetic. The staff was all very nice, will be staying here again

The location was difficult to find from the station however after crossing the scrabble square walkways the hotel was very accessible.
Was a five minute walk to the main crossing and station
The staff were fabulous from the receptionist to housekeeping .
Nothing was an issue
Overall would stay again without hesitation

We loved this hotel! Right in the heart of Shibuya next to the train station it was convenient to get anywhere. The hotel is in very good condition, the service was outstanding and the amenities were great. Our first room faced the train tracks and was too loud so we requested a change of room to the other side of the hotel which we were granted and it was much better.We would stay here again for sure and recommend it to others

Incredibly convenient location. You just exit Shibuya Station from New South Gate and follow signs to the hotel.
The hotel was quiet and clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
Staff are able to help arrange luggage forwarding to your next hotel for you.
Will definitely stay here next time I visit and would recommend to everyone.

There was little interaction with staff as it was a self-check-in/out sort of place. Basically a budget hotel. The room was extremely tiny and one side was butted against the wall so one person ( of a couple) would have no bedside table. No space to walk when two suitcases are opened. The only good thing is the hot water was constant and pressure was decent. Also the hotel is linked to the shibuya station so rather convenient location

Location was pretty good within walking distance to Shibuya South Entrance thus avoiding huge crowd at famous crossing. Used the laundry too with detergent included and drying. Took a while to complete the whole cycle. The only downside is the pillow…2 pieces which they could have provided additonal as they were soft.

Hotel staff were incredibly courteous and helpful. This hotel can not be in a better location for a Tokyo visit. The only concern was the breakfast. Food is Asian themed and served cold. Single coffee machine was usually out of commission and coffee was poor when it did work. If you are from a western country, I recommend skipping breakfast here and picking it up on the go.

It has a great location at the southern end of Shibuya station. It's near the South gate which is convenient for many JR lines and the Narita express. It's very convenient for getting to Harajuku and Shinjuku. The staff was very helpful with check in and luggage forwarding to Narita. The room was large for Japan - more like a western style hotel. Beds were comfortable enough for a few nights. The bathroom was clean and was fine.

The location of this hotel is fantastic and the property is beautiful. The check in system is interesting, there is a person there to help but the process is done on a kiosk. It’s right on the Shibuya station so super easy to get to other parts of Tokyo.

My only complaint about my stay is the breakfast. Most of the options are fish based and more what feels like a lunch dishes than breakfast. You have to pay extra for the breakfast and they don’t allow refunds. I tried eating there two mornings and just gave up. Other than that though, I loved staying here and would stay there again.

Great location, literally connected to Shibuya Station and the Shibuya Sky building. Lots of restaurants and coffee within walking distance. Short walk to the Scramble and Hachikō Square. Easy to jump on the train or grab a taxi. Very helpful front desk staff, easy check-in and check-out process. Room was the largest we had in Japan, and was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

We were thrilled we did as the rooms were a decent size, check in was easy, breakfast was convenient and good (both Japanese and Western options), very clean, very quiet and most importantly the location was amazing! It is connected to the Shibuya train station so we could access any part of Tokyo very easily! Also walking distance to lots of dinning options and Shibuya crossing, but far enough away that it is quiet! I would 100% recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again! After staying at 4 different hotels during our Japan trip (including another in Tokyo), this was the best hotel overall!

Room was a tad small, but was very clean. Amenities like laundry and toiletries (razor, soap, tea, etc) are available 24/7. Staff was extremely helpful, and have a translator on hand if needed. Self check-in and check-out was very straightforward. Hotel has it own pathway to Shibuya station and easy access to JR line. I read a review saying stairs was the only way to get to the 3rd floor elevator to access the hotel, but there is an entrance to the left of the stairs where you can access the elevator on the 1st floor so you do not need to carry your luggage up to the 3rd floor. Overall great stay.

Attached by a bridge to the shibuya train station- it was easy to get to the hotel with our luggage. And only a 10-15 min walk to shibuya crossing. For first time visitors, we loved this hotel, especially for the price. I was concerned about the “twin” bed they advertised for 2 people- it was as large as a full and comfortable. They have a coffee/tea machine in the lobby with some nice amenities available to take back to your room. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is super conveniently located to everything I needed! Their laundry facilities were supremely helpful and the fact that I could check if any machines were free from the comfort of my room was amazing!! The front desk staff was really helpful and helped me book luggage forwarding to the airport for the first time, had a luggage scale to borrow, and had a fully stocked amenities bar for my personal grooming needs. I could not ask for a better hotel and will definitely be back!!

They have good customer service. They kept this hotel well maintained and clean. My twin room are not so tight and bathroom are very clean. Air conditioner are strong and a lot of nice TV channel to watch. It’s about 10 minutes walk to the Shibuya Stream shopping mall and Shibuya train station. They give out free toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, face cleanser, tea, coffee and etc. at the lobby.

The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is easy to get around the city by subway or taxi. The only downside is the size of the rooms and the beds. They are quite small. One side of the bed is the wall and the size is like a single. I wish they had a bit larger rooms.

We only stayed for one night, and while the location was excellent—just a few minutes' walk from the train station and a shopping mall—the overall experience was disappointing. The room was extremely small, and the bed being attached to the wall made it very inconvenient and uncomfortable. Check-in was done through a self-service kiosk, and while there was staff available, they weren’t very friendly and their English was limited, which made communication a bit difficult. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for the price, as it doesn’t meet the expected standards.

I stayed with my family during a summer vacation in Tokyo. I like the fact that this hotel is at a location that is convenient for almost everything from food, shopping, to transportation. It is a 5 minutes walk to Shibuya Scramble and less than 10 min walk to Shibuya crossing and Shibuya train station. The property is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

I got into hotel just after 9pm and there was one agent on duty. The check in was via a kiosk and she was helping another guest. After some time, we checked in and the room was nice. It was clean and the bathroom looked like it was renovated. There were slippers and a robe, nice touch (didn't get that at the Hilton Tokyo Bay!) The bidet had warm toilet (Hilton did not). There was complimentary
coffee and the usual toiletries you get at lobby. Location was close to the Stream near many restaurants, very convenient. Lobby isn't grand and it's in small office building. If you're good with that which I was, I totally recommend this hotel for the price, room and location!!
