The location is in a busy area but then that is Hanoi. Located close to the lake, day and night markets and all the busy shops which is the exciting part of this city. The staff are outstanding. Kevin Tommy, Jennie and all the staff took a personal interest in making sure we had everything. Kevin spent his time marking out all the areas we should visit. The Restaurant staff were also first class. I will stay again at this Hotel when next I visit.

La Nueva Boutique was a fantastic choice for our 5 days in Hanoi. From arrival to departure, the staff were attentive and friendly and happy to help. Jimmy arranged a car for us and gave us a great recommendation for a self-guided walking tour. The morning breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had, and the coffee was fantastic black.
The rooftop bar, Estrella, deserves more patronage than it gets. It has a nice concept with the menu, drinks designed as metaphors for the planets. The drinks were interesting and tasty. The view is very good and the bartenders are personable and have excellent English. We had wide-ranging conversations each night and it made coming back to the hotel special. I felt like I was leaving friends when they shook my hand the last night.
The location cannot be beat, right in the heart of Old Quarter a block from the lake. Old Quarter is my kind of place, with genuine local food, bars, cafes and a vibrant street scene.
The room was comfortable and clean, and the hallways and room smelled fresh and slightly herbal. It is a pretty old building but it has been well cared-for. It made a great base of operations for city exploration.

Loved our stay here. The best part of this hotel is their staff. Before our arrival, the staff reached out to us to arrange airport pickup. They were always in contact. When we arrived, we were greeted with warm towel to wipe our hands and tea. They recommended areas to visit. They even helped booked our over night sleeper train tickets to Sapa. The staff definitely went above and beyond which made our stay so much more pleasant. For international women’s day, the staff even gave me a flower. When we checked out, we were also given a little gift of tiger balm. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel is walking distance to everywhere. Highly recommend.

Even before arrival the service was excellent (through emails). Staff were amazing from start to finish and the food/hotel were great. On available we met with Grace at reception who organised small refreshments after our travels. She advised the must sees while in Hanoi. The room was large and clean and the bed very comfortable. The shower was great, good power. Would definitely recommend this hotel based on the above. We loved it. Also had help from the in house travel agent Jenny with booking a cruise in ha long bay. She was great. It was our first time in Vietnam and within the short time of our arrival we already loved it and knew we’d be back.

They were kind enough to store our luggage while we went up to Halong Bay for our overnight cruise so we didn’t have to take everything with us. The restaurant on site was excellent for breakfast in the morning. The selection was great and you could also order things like omelets and Pho. The housekeeping did a great job and accommodation to all requests. The front desk did a great job making sure I had everything I needed. We had a typhoon hit the city hard and my local guest had issues getting a Grab back to her place. The staff dis their best to help find a solution so she didn't have to walk jome...apparently thats a valid option out here. I would stay here again when i come to town.

Absolutely amazing stay in La Nueva, really well places for walks to Old Quarter but for the service… wow, blown away. Super accommodating from start to finish, we are also celebrating my dad’s birthday which we didn’t tell the staff and they surprised my dad with a cake and greeting. Spa was exceptional and as the last thing. Our flight was at 7am in the morning and they organised transport and takeaway breakfast for us. What an amazing experience and can not recommend this place enough. When we come back best believe we’re coming back to La Nueva. Thank you!!

My family of four stayed at La Nueva for four nights. The staff was extremely hospitable in all aspects. Their concierge, Jimmy, coordinated with me weeks in advance and helped to plan great trips to Sa Pa, Ninh Binh and our eventual departure to Hue. He also helped to arrange a private driver and cruise to a much less crowded section of Ha Long. It all worked out perfectly.

This was the most comfortable hotel stay I have ever had! The bed was unbelievably comfortable and the pillows were amazing. We booked a standard room and decided to upgrade to the jr suite, it was worth it! So spacious. Highly recommend booking the jr suite. The staff was so friendly and thoughtful.
