The staff at the Shining Central Hotel & Spa are all extremely kind. They are very helpful and attentive. The hotel itself was extremely clean and well looked after. We used the spa service as well which was great. They make it feel like a home away from home!

Location of the hotel is good. Very central, and just a short walk to the lake.
The hotel itself would benefit from a deep clean.
Some staff were friendly and helpful, others looked disinterested (bar staff and guys on the door)
Reception area was smart, however was greeted on our floor by ripped carpet outside the lift.
The hotel room itself was okay, the bathroom appeared to have been separated from the sleeping area as an afterthought.
A bit of tender loving care could make this hotel a decent 3 star hotel.

Had a good nights sleep , bed was comfortable but small compared to other hotel rooms in Hanoi. Shower had good warm water pressure. Staff were excellent especially Leo. Very polite and a helpful young man. Convenient location, close to all tourist hotspots. Pictures on site are not same as bedroom

Shining Central was the perfect choice for our 3 days in Hanoi. It's location in the Old Quarter was perfect and very convenient. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was just above and beyond - so friendly and helpful. I had items which I purchased in Hoi An earlier in my trip delivered and there was no problem receiving this package. They also booked taxis, shows and tours for us. And the massage I booked in the spa was fantastic. Great place all around.

I would definitely recommend the Shining Central. The hotel is well located in the Old Quarter, with nearby provision stores and restaurants. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a good spread of local Vienamese and international buffet dishes. But the biggest recommendation has to go to the staff, who were very helpful and friendly. They helped us to buy last minute tickets to the water puppet show, and arranged a driver to the Perfume Pagoda complex. They also called me to tell me that I'd accidentally left behind a jacket in the room, and arranged to send it to me back home. Superb service!

Worthwhile to be back here again

Hotel just reopened after 4 months after Covid situation in Vietnam, hence a very neat and nice hotel overall. Location is also walkable (10mins) to nearby Bia Hoi Junction. Hotel also offer a discounted for their massage/spa packages, which is a good deal too.

A very welcoming sight upon entering the room as informed we are celebrating an occasion and they duly got the room prepared for it, thank you for the effort and dedication. It was a good view from the highest floor of your hotel, despite it is only 9 floors.

However, would like to highlight that whenever we enter the room each time we came back, there is still foul smell after opening the door. Maybe it could be due to the air circulation when the aircon is off when we head out, but it is alright after 5mins. Other than that, the stay is wonderful ! Will be happy to be back here again.

The staff were efficient as and courteous at at all times. They organised a number of activities for me including trips to Sapa and Halong Bay, and exceeded expectations in both cases. Lily was particularly in my case and made sure everything wasn't planned and executed perfectly. A great experience.

Fantastic Stay in Hanoi

This hotel has been exceptional and really impressive. As a hotels.com gold member, I was treated like a VIP from start to finish. I got a free massage and late 2pm check-out. The staff are really friendly and are seeking to help you in any way they can. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. The price is extremely good value. Only small negative was the breakfast was mostly finished when we arrived but that was mainly my own fault for getting up later - would advise to get down a bit earlier and not right before it closes! Overall a great stay and would stay here again if ever in Hanoi again.

We've stayed here for a few different nights on our trip around Vietnam so far. The staff are very helpful, and could also offer tips for trips and tour services they were efficient and the service is excellent. The hotel is clean and the rooms are modern and well equipped. I enjoyed staying here and definitely would again. The breakfast spread is pretty good and offers an omlette bar which I appreciated.

Absolutely. Amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with free water and fresh fruit every day. Amenities were great, including a variety of foods for breakfast. Location is right downtown in Hanoi, with great nightlife and lots to do for a few days. Most of all, the staff was so accommodating - they make sure to answer all your questions and have plenty of recommendations for things to do. They were very enthusiastic in making us feel like home, helped us with our luggage, and called taxis for us as well. Overall, highly recommend, and definitely stay here if you are coming to Hanoi!

The air conditioning never worked in our room and i believe ibecause it was off in the whole hotel. It was in the 80’s during the day, but apparently that is winter there... The shower was old, dirty, and temperamental. The check in process took too long. Breakfast was not great...

All staff are very friendly. Bed is very comfortable. Location is excellent. However, it shouldn't allow to park any motorbikes at the main entrance and it blocks the way for all customers in/out the hotel as it will downgrade the status of this hotel.

Had the mountain view room, it was very nice. Bed was super comfortable and the shower was great. The service was terrific as they offered us showers before and after our checkkin/check out. Also, after learning we will take the train back to Sapa, they packed us some snacks. Will stay again.

This is a very new hotel so it is exceptionally clean and comfortable.
The rooms are a great size, with nice ensuites.
The breakfast are quite good but maybe need a few more pastry options.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Lily.
The location is also ideal for visiting Hoan Kiem lake area.

This hotel was excellent. We all loved the interior design. Our room also had a garden which was full of grass. We took a bath near the garden and we had a wonderful view watching outside through the windows beside the bath tub.

Amazing Gem in the Old Quarter!

We are travelers from the US and was lucky enough to stayed at Shining Boutique Hotel and Spa for 6 nights during September 2019. Hospitality is amazing and the best we've ever experienced (even compared to America's five stars hotels). All the staffs are welcoming, supportive, and informative. The staffs even surprised me with a birthday cake and room decor, which was unexpected and very much appreciated since I was far from my families and friends. I cannot wait to visit Hanoi again, just to stay at Shining Boutique :)

Amazing hotel right in the heart of Hanoi! Exceptional hospitality by all who work there. The rooms are very clean and new and cozy. Wifi is excellent too. The breakfast is big and with a great selection of food. Laundry service is inexpensive and quick through the hotel. They will book your daily excursions and call taxis for you to get you the best rates. I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel a 10/10 for us!

Definitely a superb experience in this hotel. Enjoyed a free upgrade from superior double room to triple family room.

Room is exactly like the photo, spacious, clean & a modern design. The staffs are very friendly & helpful, especially the receptionist, Ms Lily, who helped us to checked in for the room. Borrowed us an adapter for usage and offered us to packed breakfast for us the next day morning as we need to leave early to Sapa.

Too bad as I only stay a night at this wonderful hotel. Will definitely stay again if I come back to Hanoi!!!

Is a new build hotel with clean and comfortable bed.
Price per night is reasonable.
Locate near old quarter surrounded with good foods. Beside has BBQ which can give a try.
Friendly and helpful staff. With their help able to get a cab to airport during peak period.
Hotel breakfast is good, nothing much to complaint with.
Plus point - early check in 10am after come back from sapa town.
Definitely will stay again in this hotel for next Hanoi trip.

They had great service staff who were always very helpful and spoke good English. Complimentary mango juice at check in. Complementary water and fresh fruit in the room everyday. The breakfast was really good and had good variety. The location was very good too. The stair case was a little narrow and had to goto 2nd floor for the elevator to room. I would highly recommend this hotel if staying in Hanoi.

the hotel is new it is nice small 3 star boutique hotel the rooms are large with sunlight two small windows sufficient. The staff is very polite courteous, a few problems they have to rectify the doors closures mounted on door which closes with a big bang sound disturbs when sound comes from other rooms more from the night. They have to give a little larger soap to put in hand. I will rate this a value for money will recommend to anyone

Shining Boutique Hotel and Spa is a delightful place to stay. From the check-in to the spa services to the arrangements for check-out and departure, all were handled courteously and efficiently. Everyone, from the bellhop to the housekeepers to the front desk staff was friendly and engaging.

Although we made the reservation just 24 hours before arrival, our well laid out room as exactly as requested, with city views and queen bed. All the fixtures and furnishings are fresh and up to date.

We were provided with a very helpful map of nearby things to do and restaurant suggestions, which were very good.

During our stay, my husband and I used several spa treatments and we were very pleased. I highly recommend the collagen facial (my husband says I look 5 years younger), the 75 minute foot treatment, and the massage with hot stones. These were all very reasonably priced as well as effective.

Breakfasts featured a wide assortment of Eastern and Western dishes on the buffet, as well as made to order eggs and omelettes. Fresh juices, coffees, teas and pastries are also available. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Shining Boutique and Spa is a tremendous value in the heart of vibrant Hanoi. I highly recommend it!

하노이에 또 가게 된다면 여기에 다시 지낼 정도로 저는 만족도가 높았습니다. 모든 직원분들이 친절했지만 특히 안경 쓰신 여자 직원분 최고십니다. 한국말도 완벽하시고 모든 적극적으로 도와주셨습니다. 돈 찾으려고 ATM을 찾았는데 날도 덥고 길도 잘 몰라서 헤맸는데 직원분이 오토바이로 안내해 주셨어요. 고장 나거나 돈이 인출 안되는 곳도 많았는데 여기저기 계속 데려다주시고 너무 감사했습니다. 사파 가려고 아침 버스 타야 했는데 맛있는 샌드위치도 싸주시고 너무 감동받았어요

好立地でスタッフの対応も◎、高コスパ

旧市街にも、大聖堂周辺にもアクセスしやすい場所で、探したところ、このホテルに決めました。
結果、とてもよかったです。近いだけでなく、細い通りがたくさんある中で、とても見つけやすい場所でした。
部屋はきれいで、バスタブ付きの部屋にアップグレードしてもらえ、町歩きで疲れた体を癒せました。
旧市街にありがちな、排水設備の悪さや、うるささもありませんでした。
スタッフの女性たちはとても魅力的で、親切で、いろいろな質問や要望にも快くこたえてくれました。
またハノイへ行くことがあれば、リピートします。

It was a great experience all throughout the stay!
The room was clean and had everything we needed, it was quite at night(very important in Hanoi) with an easy access from the main road.
The employees were very attentive and always up to help, especially the receptionists - 'Ms.Lily' - were very warm-hearted and helped out in every way (arriving at and leaving the hotel, what to do, what to eat, local tips, explanations for culture backgrounds etc.).
The stay at this hotel made the whole trip very satisfying. I'd definitely stay here again next time!!

방에 비해 비싼 방이나 스텝의 친절함에 묵을만한 ..

첫 날 매니저의 응대가 별로. 비싼 방을 지불했는데 방이 ㄴ자로 꺽인방이라 좁아보였다. 마루바닥은 심하게 긁힌 상태라라 다른 방을 요구하니 다음날에 처리해준대서 포기했다 후기를 읽어보면 초콜릿과 날씨메모를 준다는데 하루만 줘서 뭐지 싶었다 첫닐 만난 매니저는 거만하게 응대했지만 다른 스텝들은 더할 나위 없이 친절했고 만족했다. 테라스 있는 꼭대기 방을 선택했지만 더 싼 아래층 방보다 테라스가 별로. 밖이 잘 보이지도 않고 옆 방과 연결된 부분을 조잡한 화분으로 가려놔서 더 갑갑하다 청소나 어매너티는 good. 조식도 조식장소도 good. 특히 스텝들이 너무나 친절해서 기분좋았던 곳 . 감사해요~^^

위치 정말 좋고 친절합니다. 주변 소음을 듣지못했고 새 호텔이라 전반적으로 깔끔한 느낌입니다. 조식은 대체로 맛있다고 하기는 어렵지만 성의껏 준비되어있어 입에 맞는 것 위주로 먹으면 나쁘지 않다고 봅니다. 10만원 이하에서 고른다면 이 정도 가격에 이 정도 퀄리티 경쟁력이 있는 호텔입니다. 구조상 방의 독립성은 보장되나 답답함이 조금 있을 수는 있어요

조식 좋고.일단 직원들 친절합니다.
주변 관광명소도 걸어서 10~15분거리고.호텔나가면 구경거리많구요. 이가격에 이정도면 최상입니다.
왠만하면 후기 남기는스타일 아닌데.이집은 추천합니다.차불러달라면 바로불러주고.특히 세탁아침에 맞기면 저녁에 이쁘게 포장해서 줍니다.
근처 현지 관광지 파는 상점많아서 하롱베이나 기타 다른 관광지 싸게 이용가능하더군요.
짠내투어 맥주거리도 15분 걸어가면 잇습니다.
가격대비 정말 만족스럽습니다.
다음에도 꼭 오고싶네요~^^
