The place has three small pools one I thin is like a Jacuzzi other was less hot and the last one inside, all very pleasant, the weather wasn't good it was extremely windy, and we couldn't enjoy the pools all day as we did during a previous visit. The owner took care of getting the pool guy to clean the pools due the windy weather, we appreciate that. The room was clean and pleasant it has a big screen TV, previously it didn't have that amenity, (I love TV) and it was helpful since it was so windy we didn't dare to go outside!. I has electric stove and some dishes to cook , coffee maker, (coffee, creamer, coffee filters. I also like the fact that we can use the pool at night, we enjoy looking at the stars,it is a small hotel, so we liked that it is quiet. We plan to go back with more friends to have a relaxing time.

Such a charming, quaint place. The rooms are spacious, will full kitchens fully stocked, robes, towels and anything you could need. The closet is ample and the vanity area is convenient. The beds were comfortable. The proprietress, Alla, went above and beyond to make sure we could check in late. The lobby, pool area and spa are all well maintained and inviting.
I wish we could have stayed longer. I would totally recommend this place for short or long stays.

Lido Palms Resort & Spa in Desert Hot Springs is a peaceful, low-key retreat with wonderfully clean, perfectly heated mineral pools ideal for relaxation. The small number of rooms creates a quiet atmosphere without crowds, and the friendly on-site owners, especially Alla, made us feel warmly welcomed and at home. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a full kitchen that was super convenient. It’s not a fancy resort, but if you want a calm, rejuvenating getaway, this place is perfect. Wonderful girls getaway in the desert!

We had a relaxing and wonderful stay at the Lido Palms Resort and Spa. Upon our arrival we received a tour of the property and the pools, along with helpful information about the benefits of the mineral waters. Alla and her husband the proprietors were very attentive to their guests, making sure all felt welcome and checked in on guests throughout their stay. The property was bright and clean, with a bonus kitchenette, and the pools were amazing! This was a friend getaway, and it was so worth it! The location has easy access to Joshua Tree National Park, and the town of Desert Hot Springs is very cute! After a day of hiking and walking, the mineral waters here were just what we needed. The decor inside the room and the pool area was very calming with beautiful plants and flowers. The massage service I received was wonderful, and the spa room was tranquil, it was so nice to walk outside the spa room after the massage and lounge near the pool. This was such a nice and relaxing stay! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway! Alla the owner, was so kind to even call after we had left the property because I had left something behind! A hidden gem in the desert, and will definitely be back and spend more time, a weekend was not enough!

The Lido Palms is a real gem the place is very clean and the property is very well maintained. The 2 hot tubs and pool are hot mineral water and very hot. The new owners are very nice and accommodating. One person in our group used the Spa services and was very pleased with the massage. I highly recommend the Lido Palms which is great value for the money

We were working on our house and needed a place to stay : and especially looked forward to the incredible hot springs water at Lido Palms . We soaked and relaxed and ate take out from a great Indian restaurant . Walked around the corner to breakfast at Azure Palms . Good location for us and perfect mineral pools .

Happy to see the new owners of Lido Palms are wonderful people, and are doing a lot of renovations. It still has the old school look and feel that I love, but now there are new modern touches in the rooms. The pools are very clean, and the natural spring water really does heal you. Can’t wait to come back!

I have stayed at Lido Palms for more than 20 years, under new ownership at times. I have always felt welcome there, even during the Covid-19 pandemic. This new ownership is awful. They entered my room with the house keys without advising me in the middle of the stay. They were invasive and made use of the hot springs with the guests during pool hours. Won't be staying there anymore.

Loved the friendliness of the staff. The bigger rooms that we chose were perfect! We took meat and were able to grill it on patio. The nice big kitchen equipped with utensils was helpful for our cooking needs.
My parents had an amazing time since they were able to join us this time.
Beds might need to be upgraded… a bit hard for me.

I like the hotel for its privacy - only 10 rooms. Quiet, no children, no animals, closed area. The swimming pools are open 24 hours a day. There is a kitchen, a large refrigerator, you can cook something simple or heat up food.

What a charming motel! The proprietor Janet personally showed us around when we checked in. Room was spacious, well-appointed and spotless. Nice to have the indoor mineral springs pool in case of rough weather, but the outdoor pool at night with the surrounding swaying palm trees was heavenly. Will absolutely stay there again!

The office is only open 8-8, but despite the check-in time of 3pm I was allowed to use and store my stuff in my room at around 1pm before they had gotten around to cleaning it out, which was really nice and helped save my schedule. They just gave the cleaners a heads up that my stuff would be in the closet, and it was safe and untouched when I got back at 2:30am that night.

The pool and hot tub were really nice. The room had plenty of space and amenities, I appreciated having a full table and refrigerator in the kitchen, and in other circumstances would have really liked having the stove oven in the unit.

The staff were great and the pools nice. The rooms and kitchenettes are from the 70s, and badly need renovations. It needs investment and upgrades. For example the windows will not securely close and little screw clamps are used as a stop gap, but this isn't obvious.

Only downside was the disrespectful people that stayed late at pool were talking very loud. Had to put volume up on tv to not hear them. I’m not a fan of memory foam beds…so for me the bed was not comfortable.

Lido Palms is a gem! Beautifully maintained streamline modern architecture and gardens. Excellent mineral pools. Furniture isn't stylish but everything is clean and in good shape. Full kitchen. Birdwatch while you're in the hot tubs. Even had a pair of roadrunners come for a visit. I'd love to stay here for several days.

I've stayed at this hotel 10 different times since October 2020. The hotel is small which I love, it's normally quiet, there are no \"day passes\" sold, the rooms are large and comfortable, and there is a full kitchen to boot. A nice pool, indoor mineral pool, sauna. Had only one slightly negative experience and that was noisy inconsiderate customers of the hotel who stayed up late at night getting drunk by the pool with music blaring from their room. Talk about selfish people. Not once did they consider all the other paying guests in the hotel that were trying to sleep! I called the manager and had her go quiet them down. Other than that, we have always had a wonderful stay. I have to leave a comment for the person who left a \"Poor\" review for the hotel for their stay on April 9, 2021, and who booked through Travelocity. She said they paid $260 a night [Rooms are $200 - $220, not $260], she complained because they would not let her dog stay in the hotel [Even though the hotel website states \"No Pets Allowed\"], she asked the hotel for a refund of the $260 she paid Travelocity for the room. She was upset because the hotel told her she needed to contact Travelocity for any refund since that is who she booked the room through, and paid. Some people just don't use their brain. Giving a poor review over things that are your own doing is pretty pathetic. This is a great hotel, great location, very comfortable, and has great amenities.

This is My Favorite Hot Springs Hotel

I really like hot springs hotels. I've been to about 10 different hotels so far, but Lido Palms is definitely my favorite one. It has 3 large pools with different temperatures and all of them are amazing. Staff is doing a great job keeping this pools nice and clean. Rooms are very comfortable. It has a separate kitchen with everything you might need to cook meals. The area around is very quiet and cozy. And a night sky is just spectacular because of a low light pollution in this area. I will be super happy to return to this place again in a future.

Located in a sketchy neighborhood among homes. Not a hotel. Booked through Travelocity because this property was indicated when I searched for “pet” friendly hotels will traveling cross-country. Booked and paid $260 for room to secure. Drove two hours out of our way to get to “hotel (house)” only to be told they do not allow pets. I indicated I had a pet on the reservation when booked. “We don’t allow pets or kids nor smoking!” I told her, I don’t smoke, no kids and my pet is six pounds. I asked if she would refund my full payment. She told me no and that Travelocity would have to do that. I reiterated that her place came up as pet friendly and I indicated I had a pet. We had been driving for two days and it was late afternoon on a Friday in Southern California heat and traffic.... No sympathy. Defensive and rude IMO. I would not recommend this place or Travelocity.

Very noisy. Group congregated at Jacuzzi well past 10 pm and were very loud and boisterous. Due to property design(square with Jacuzzi in middle), noise echoed throughout the facility. After that a compressor of some sort came on and off every 15 minutes throughout the night until 5:30 am....sounded like a parked truck. Not very restful or relaxing. Oh, and someone broke into our car and stole 5 or 600 dollars worth of electronics. This is not a good neighborhood(check out all the ominous intruder signs in neighboring homes). Next time ,we'll be heading to Palm Springs. Be careful. Be safe.

We booked this hotel because of the mineral water bath and pool. We were NOT disappointed. The hotel has 1 pool and 2 tubs, one of them is indoor, the pool and the other tub are outdoor. We mostly enjoyed the outdoor tub, soaking in it for a few hours. It’s very clean, with constant inflow of fresh warm mineral water. The temperature was very pleasant, especially for the night we stayed - in the evening the air temperature dropped to 50s, while the tub water was around 100.
When we arrived we were greeted by the lady at the front desk. She was very nice and showed us around.
Our room was spacious, apart from the main room it had a kitchen separated from the room by a door. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, as well as a large fridge.
The room, the kitchen and the bathroom could use some renovation: the furniture looks old, the rug by the bed looked very worn (better to remove it), the sink in the bathroom was very tiny, the shelf in one of the kitchen cabinets looked crooked as if it broke.
The bed was comfortable to sleep, overall we are satisfied, it is a good place to stay for one or two nights.

This place is awesome. It has 2 swimming pools and one of them is an indoor mineral pool. There's also an infrared sauna. The manager was personable and hospitable; kept checking in with us every time he saw us around the pool. It's only a 20 minute drive from downtown Palm Springs. It's a little run down but that's actually part of its charm. Very clean. Will definitely stay again.

The natural spring water is fed into the jacuzzi and the pool which means you can truly this soaking all your stress away. There are 11 units so it's quiet and clean. There's a BBQ available and the units have full kitchens. It could use some new pillows or bring your own.
The manager was friendly and helpful. Just a wonderful getaway!

The arrangement of the room and the pool and hot tubs was extremely nice. The bed was fabulous. The water pressure was the best I had ever felt. The other amenities in the room left much to be desired. The AC never cooled the room to a comfortable level. It was so hot we had to go to a local Walmart and purchase fans. The kitchenette was so hot that that area of the room was unbearably hot. You could look up through stove vent in the ceiling and see daylight and feel the furnace like air rolling into the room. The ultimate disturbance was the requirement to turn the volume up on the TV to hear it with the fans going. The night manager came knocking on the door and as I attempted to jump out of bed and answer it she opened the door. I was lucky to have put the chain on or she and I would have been really shocked as I was not dressed to answer the door. Why she couldn't call the room (oh that's right no land line in the room) well they had my cell phone on file, didn't call it either. It was very unsettling to have someone try to barge into your room to tell you that the walls have bad insulation and the room next to us was complaining. As quaint the Motel is I cannot in good faith recommend staying here.

Room is spacious and clean. The area is quiet. The room also has a little kitchen that you can cook! There are different hot spring with different temperatures and spa service.

Amazing!

A little piece of Heaven on earth. The owners & staff are wonderful. They make you feel like family. The mineral pools are beautiful. This place is quiet and peaceful. A great place to go if you just want to enjoy yourself and get away from it all.

Reasonable but not worth money you spent

It’s 11 rooms for colonic cleansing courses, I think, around the two spas so be up early at 6 am noisy as people start soaking in mineral spa then late nights talking goes on. No beds are made for 3 days, no soiled towels on floor were picked up for 3 days, area rug was so dirty and old, wooden blinds are so old, hotel needs renovation .
The pools were ok but possibly needs bacteria check done, bed was comfortable, liked kitchenette and utensils

Romantic Getaway

Our stay at the Lido was overall a Great experience. Ning who checked us in was very friendly and the resort was well kept and the rooms were clean! I would definitely stay her if I am in the Palm Springs Area.
