Listen to other's reviews, I should have. We were excited about relaxing in the \"hot springs\", but they were dirty and the whole property needs a renovation. The Bathroom, bed sheets, carpets, most areas in the room were filthy. We stayed in room 143- poolside/location was convenient/only positive. Bring your own pool towels because you have to use your room towels and exchange them for clean towels We made the best of it, family mini-vacay, but can't recommend it. The 2nd night the guests staying in the room next door were blasting their music from midnight to 3am. We called the front desk 3x. Security did give them a visit but they couldn't shut it down. Inconsiderate guests would wait a few minutes after the security left and they would blast it again.

The A/C in my room was not working. The security guard was talking to people crazy and the restaurant roasted sandwiches was terrible everything tasted like water.. onions the roast beef and the dipping sauce tasted like water

The lady that worked at the restaurant was Hella rude the food was freaking disgusting . Cheese sticks still frozen. I will never eat there nor would I ever recommend anyone else to eat there. Disappointing to the max.

Me and my family have been coming here for 3 years and within those 3 years the bathroom was always nasty and dirty the only good thing about this hotel is the pools. Me and my family recently went for a family vacation and we expected peace and relaxation, but no. Instead we faced racism, harassment, and discrimination. Me and my family had called to ask if we could bring a grill to make food and they said it was fine. We were grilling and 2 security guards approached us with a rude, aggressive, and violent tone. They we’re threatening us that they were going to kick us out and just harassing us. The manager came with a more nicer tone and told us we couldn’t have it here so we complied and we had everything settled. Until one of the same security guards came to provoke things again, he was on the phone with the manager saying false stuff. Saying we were smoking weed when that was not the case. Long story short they kicked out my sister in law at 2 in the morning with all of her little ones. There were other people grilling and they weren’t told anything. And there was people who were actually smoking and they didn’t get told anything aswell. I don’t recommend this place at all!!

Property has slowly gone downhill over the past 10 years
Needs to be cleaned up and upgraded throughout
The pools need to be redone and after the weekend very cloudy not very appealing
The fencing on the ground floor poolside rooms are all rotting
Carpet in various areas filthy
Air conditioning is hit and miss not good for this area
Bird poop all over gazebos not healthy
Sliding doors and screen doors are very hard to close and bent
Staff not very attentive and not much into there jobs
Very sad as it was a nice place some time ago
Also there day passes for locals is very bad to allow at a resort

Rooms are not sanitary bathrooms so dirty so racism our families were not happy at all we have been going for 3 years . A yearly family vacation but it change (No more going there) . Security guards are the worse they kick out our family in the middle of the night with little kids for not following some rules that did not apply to everyone . The pool has a propane grill however they have told us is ok for us to bring one and use ours in our poolside however after we were done doing our BBQ the security guards approach to us so rude and racisms

We love visiting this place, soaking up the sun, being on the water and relaxing! The Capri restsurant great! Staff is great!!! Rooms seem to be a bit hit or miss. Room 215 this time. Nice pool view but only one well worn chair on patio that looked like it would break if you sat on it. Beds very well used and sunken in the middle. Great pillows though. And black mold or something black in the shower tile grout. Would be nice if they had WiFi.

Pools were clean and somewhat well maintained. But the rooms were horrible, carpet hasn't been clean in probably weeks, found underwear in the closet, just disgusting. Restaurant was good, we enjoyed the food and the service. It's just too bad that management not even trying to make property nicer. After many years coming, probably will not return.

Usually stay at the offsite properties due to the onsite rooms being complete trash and smelly. Booked Pickford A-1, but was told at check in it wasn't available since it hasn't been cleaned (so why was it available to book? Bait and switch, false advertising). Was given villa #4 across the street. It was a large property, but had 2 central AC systems. Only 1 system was functional, so only the large master bedroom was cool. Rest of house (2 bdrms, kitchen, living room, bathroom) unbearably hot. Had to drag an extra bed and kitchen table into the master. TV was 27\", only had 5 working channels. Hot tub fuses near the electrical panel were on the ground. Plugged those back in, turned it on. Went from 85° to 91° in over an hour. My sons got sick of waiting to get warmer so got in. 15 minutes after we got in, a loud electrical pop went off underneath the hot tub (GFCI) and the breaker in the panel tripped. This could have been potentially deadly. Walked over to tell front desk, they couldn't move us since they were sold out (even though their parking lot was less than half full). The operations manager said we would get a refund but that never happened. The last 2 years, I stay here about 15 times a year, it seems like with every stay it gets a little worse. Probably will stay off-site and just do day passes. Their 'award- winning' restaurant is a joke, the 4 meals I've tried taste overcooked and out of a can. Everything that comes out of their fryer tastes the same.

By far this resort has the best staff ever, consistent in almost every department. Did not have much interaction with housekeeping but front desk staff, spa director, restaurant staff and so on just delightful.... Thank you for a relaxing weekend and great food and entertainment! Love Mick Jagger Cover and was an additional surprise to my stay. Rooms were well cooled and clean, the overall appearance of the property is a bit run down and I loved that fact....because the beds were comfortable, the room was clean and cool and I was additionally paying for someone's interior designer!!! I went for the pools of water and the break....perfect weekend....perfect pricing and assistance when I needed any!

We will be back. The pools are so much fun. The rooms and building is a bit out dated and can use some tlc. But the room was clean. No critters. Some trash left around the pools. But that’s of no fault of the staff. People should clean up after themselves. Parking was a breeze. We will be returning.

Room 225 had 2 lamps which did not work, in addition the tub/shower hot-cold valve does not provide cold water, it was always hot, needs to be repaired.

The mineral pools are plenty and available 2 hours. The onsite restaurant was very good.

Would I stay there again? Yes but on the ground floor.

Dirty. It's not listed, but Pickering B doesn't have it's own hot tub. The communal one didn't work and was half full. The water was dirty. Missing and broken curtains. Shower water took awhile to get warm. Multiple crickets which made it hard to sleep. Numerous spiders and caught two lizards. I should have just tent camped. Paid $280 a night. Extended one night because checked in so late, 1230 am. Not offered late checkout or any refunds.

It’s an old resort , needs more maintenance. A lot of not supervised kids, jumping and splashing water , running from one to another spa, and nobody even watching them. We complained to bodyguard and he said” I got your message “ but nothing was done .

We arrived and departed shortly thereafter, as we did not feel comfortable staying. After several conversations with Expedia, a professional resolution was reached.
Having worked in healthcare for more than three decades, including participation in audits and accreditation processes, I have a strong awareness of health and safety standards. Based on what I observed during my brief visit, I had concerns related to cleanliness and overall health and safety conditions. Out of respect, I will leave my comments at that.

I stay here at least once a year and I enjoy the hot pools which are clean and well-maintained. The room is always clean and working properly too with plenty of space. It’s not a fancy place but it’s friendly, reliable, and affordable. The restaurant food wasn’t as well-prepared this time as from previous visits, but I like the selection and the prices.

The room was old and dirty. There were cockroaches.

The pools were the reason we booked it cause the photos were lovely. Yeah,no. Toilet paper, trash, food wrappers, cans, dishes. EVERYWHERE! They didn’t clean it for the 2 days we were there. It also didn’t help people smoking marujana everywhere.

I loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. The pool was our favorite and our daughters loved it. It's heated and the perfect temp. There's also several hot tubs. The room was dated, but fairly clean and had a microwave and fridge and kitchen counters.

Hot springs were more like cold springs. There were multiple people playing loud music in the pools and it felt like the carnival cruise of hotel hot springs. Do not stay here if you want to sleep well and enjoy the pools. Regret staying here and will discourage anyone else from doing so.

We visit often for the 24 hr pools and cheap rooms, but don’t expect anything fancy, rooms are dated but generally clean, although if you are very particular about your hotel rooms maybe stay elsewhere. Staff can sometimes be rude unfortunately, depends who you are dealing with, some of the staff are pleasant. We just shrug it off lol Ice machine sometimes doesn’t work. Water in rooms is sometimes too hot/cold due to the hot springs. Beds are not the most comfortable but you get what you pay for. Located 20 mins from Palm Springs and also Joshua tree, so great for a little desert getaway on a budget.

The room we booked was a good size, a bit outdated and carpet was torn and sticky for the most part. There were 8 pools and 24 hrs open so that's good. However, what made us leave at 6 am in the morning is when we are about to turn in to sleep there were bed bugs crawling on both beds and we asked the front desk but he just said that there are critters in the desert. There were also molds in the shower. We didn't want to stay and watch the bed bugs crawling around their white sheet and my kids started itching. That's unfortunate.

There were no soaps so I called houskeeper. but she said they don't have soap in the hotel.
I went to buy that to gift shop. The old koren lady said, we have soap and she kindly went to get to front them for us! How nice!

The restaurant is nice people as well! They accidentally clean the table when we went to bathroom, they noticed after we came back and cook bran new whole meal again

Impressively bad stay, booked last minute for Memorial Day weekend and had low expectations, but, man they couldn't even meet those. We were greeted by a drunk guest telling us why he hated his marriage then waited a half hour to check in, we were second in line. Smoking and drinking at the filthy main pool mid afternoon with everyone playing their own music super loud. Bartender said they'd been may lose their liquor license if their pool is busted again for outside alcohol. The Merlot was pretty good. Pools were not cared for, missing concrete, standing fetid water all over the place. Ice machine and water station too filthy to use. Room 157 had a view of their chaotic repair trailers, a leak above the shower, only very hot water in shower and pillow cases made of sand paper. I wouldn't put bare feet on the carpet. Clientele seem to think it's spring break, even the 5 who paid for dinner and a show with the \"Cher\". Do not have your worst enemy stay here... They can do better. There's a \"sister\" property next door that looks even worse. Beware.

A lot of non working appliances just out in the parking lot along with unsafe holes in the ground, no proper signage. Also the hot and cold water in the rooms comes and goes throughout the day and every day. It’s hard to know when you will be able to take a shower. The hotel staff did not seem to care or acknowledge these concerns probably because their management doesn’t do anything about it.

The water in our room was extremely hot, we were not able to take a shower, we had to buy a bucket and put some ice to cool down the water. I asked the staff the staff twice to fix the issue and they didn't do anything.

The fact that this place is still in business is a miracle. The room was not clean, there were cigarette butts scattered throughout the pool landscaping area, and the carpet on the stairs was dirty and in very poor condition. The balcony also had a broken chair, which added to the overall disappointing experience. The picture does not show what it is!

The room was poorly managed and didn’t have a tv in the living room area. You have to call and get tv remote programmed and hope that they come. Their is junk old things broken just in parking lot and blocking two parking spots. The mineral pools some work and others get full of leaves and the jets stop working or leaves get surrounded around you while in hot tub and Emory the manager said that they get the pool cleaned in the morning but at night it gets clogged up but if it’s 24 hour pool and hot tubs then it should work all 24 hours. Also the grounds are just poorly kept. Also got breakfast at the capri and it was just bland normal breakfast food nothing special. I have to shout out Krissy for helping us when we brought these issues up to them but make sure when u have the issues you go before you leave or else they won’t do anything over the phone for ur issues. I just wouldn’t stay here period unfortunately even when u request late check out for noon and given the okay someone will still knock on ur door at 11:10 and just enter ur room.

This property is falling apart and it needs a lot of repairs and maintenance, doesn’t seem like their in any hurry to fix anything, the ceiling is falling down on the floor in the hallway and room, the shower head is disgusting, the pool plaster is falling apart and the jacuzzis are missing tiles and lifting up from the ground also the carpets are disgustingly dirty and old would not recommend staying here. Stayed here for memorial weekend. The Italian restaurant was good but also needs updating. Neighborhood is a little sketchy.

this hotel is very poorly run. for one, there is no early check-in so everyone has to wait until 4pm to check in. second, we went as a group and found that many rooms ONLY have hot water and others ONLY cold water. Everyone has to call them to fix the issue. How can a hotel operate with such poor basic pipping? They provide only one small piece of soap for both shower and sink. Few rooms in our group, ACs did not work well. The hotel needs lots of fixing... The hot springs pools were nice so I am glad that worked out since they were the only reason we went.
