I have stayed here before, and it was ok for being a Motel 6, but this time, about 30
minutes into my stay, their friends the little roaches decided to come out to visit. I went to the front desk to request a refund as I do not want roaches in my personal belongings and they are a huge health code violation and the agent told me he would give me a different room to try first. I told him If the new room was the same I was going to request a refund. Two hours later as I began to fall asleep a roach crawled across my arm I flipped the light on and there were several scattering everywhere. Needless to say I went to get a refund. They refused to assist me and said All they could do is offer me yet another room. By this point I knew I was going to be awake all night, watching.. waiting.. so I had to call expedia to switch my hotel stay to another location which thankfully they did since my paycheck wouldnt hit my account for another 18 hours.

I would recommend going to the one downtown or East before coming here. Unless of course you are lonely and need some travel companions.. if that’s the case this is your spot.

i asked for a room with a microwave and the front desk woman made it seem like i was being difficult and basically told me she was goin to get one and failed miserably after asking multiple times. she was just terrible and really didnt care. normally the hotel is not bad for a motel 6. i had a good stay the first time i was there. oh yeah they really need a new router, the internet connection is terrible, you have to reconnect like every half hour.

Horrible place. Got locked out of my room and the guy at the front desk gave me another room but couldn't get my stuff out of the room til housekeeping came in 6 hours later. I called the Cops to come by and help me out with the situation and while I was in my car waiting there was homeless camped out all over. So the Cop showed up he helped with the situation but I still had to wait 6 hours to get back into my room. Bad vibes all over. I came in tired and wanted a nice place to rest and it turned into a mindfu$&.

The parking surface needs to be repaved as that is the first thing that you are greeted with. There are so many potholes in the parking area and that is the last place you should worry about driving. The hallways look to be not taken care of daily as there were trash and debris scattered the length of it. Inside the room it was decent, but it was not entirely clean as there were food crumbs and hair from previous occupants. There was not exhaust vent for the bathroom so when you shower the steam builds up, this might be the cause of the walls needing to be repaired. Overall this is a back up plan for your first or second backup plan. Some Motel 6’ are better than others, which is kind of strange.

Check in was easy, the lady at the front desk was super nice! This is a very convenient hotel and at a great price. It is a little noisy being close to the interstate but traveling a long distance by myself I needed it close and safe. My only complaint is that there are no microwaves or refrigerators in the room. I didn’t realize that so that’s on me. I had leftovers though and wanted to heat them up for dinner. For the prize and location you can’t beat this place.

I didnt like that they didnt have a non smoking room like i called and asked for. The lights in the room did not work except for 1 where sink was. The bathroom light didnt work either. The lady at check in acted like she was on drugs.Tried to talk to her after we went to room and she said she was on lunch. She had a male visiting with her when I was trying to check in. I called when I made reservation and Expedia saposively transferred me to motel 6. I asked for no smoking on bottom floor because my mom is 87 years old and can not walk up stairs. When I checked in lady told me they didn't have one. She said I can leave but I wouldn't get my money back.

The first day we got there the room we were in had a terrible smell. There was no other rooms available. The next day we were moved to another room which was clean and didn’t smell. So while the first night was not good the rest of the stay was very good and I was impressed with the staff for making it right.

I stayed here on a Saturday during Coachella weekend, so I understand prices were higher than usual. I booked a deluxe queen non-smoking room and arrived around 6 PM. We quickly grabbed our key, dropped off our bags, and left, but when we returned later, the room smelled strongly like an ashtray.

The bathroom had issues as well—the toilet water was running all night, and there were water drops on the floor. I went to the front desk to request a room change, but I was told the only available option was a one king smoking room, and that I wouldn’t be eligible for a refund. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to stay.

Even the pillows and sheets had a strong cigarette odor, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, especially considering the price.

When we went to our room, there was a guy standing in front of the window with the screen in his hand. The rooms, on the other hand were a different story.
We stayed one night, reserved two rooms.
My two major complaints are cleanliness and safety.

Cleanliness:
Both rooms smelled overwhelmingly like smoke (in nonsmoking rooms)! Gave us quite the headache.
The bed sheets had human hair pretty much everywhere, and what looked like many (hopefully) dirt stains. Seems like they weren’t washed, and they just made the bed because they were “clean enough”. In the bathroom, there was what looked like mold growing on the floor corners. Faded red stains that looked like blood on the floor as well.

Safety :
One of our doors looked like it had been kicked in. The lock was very difficult to open and close. When it was closed, it did not feel secure; if you jiggled the door handle from the outside, the door moved. The lock area was completely warped, jagged, and popping out. The door hinges were rusted and had pins popping out. This door was on its last leg. I’ve attached pics.
The area surrounding the motel was safe for the most part. No sketchy people hanging around, and the cars were fine.

The walls were also very thin. Super wonderful when our upstairs neighbors decided to shower at 2 am.

I’d give it one star for the reasons I’ve mentioned, but it did the job in terms of temporary lodging. We traveled with pets and it was a good enough option considering it was the only reasonably priced hotel I could find in the area.

1st the electronic door key for our 1st room would not open the door. Spoke with Mangr, we got new key- it didn’t work either. I asked “ do you have another room, got new room and the key didn’t open the door!! Mangr opened door w/ super key, we put our stuff in the room & went to eat. Mangr was to be there when we returned- He wasn’t & we had to wait in the car for 30 min to open the door!!
The room was very sparse: No microwave no extra blankets no amenities…. Room very shabby remodel ceiling looked like coming down, bath door would stick & not open-we had to yank it open!!
I WANT A REFUND OR AT LEAST 50% discount!!

I think the room and stay was atleast 4 stars for the price paid. I think hotels and motels in 2026 should have quieter a/c units. I am very appreciative that we have that technology. Also I tripped with some open toed shoes in a landscape grass barrier thing that basically is a trip hazard and didn’t enhance the appearance of the property. I did not slice my toe open just a close call.

The room had fruit flies. The trash receptacle was full. There was a bunch of rotten bananas sitting on the trash bin. That did not help with the fruit flies. I informed the front desk and was told that fruit flies were hard to eradicate and they just had pest control come in that day. I guess they paid pest control for nothing if the trash is not disposed of fast enough the problem will continue. Mind you this was during winter but the fruit flies were still present.

Pleasantly surprised how nice this place is for the location. It was actually nicer than ones in town. Quiet, clean, and nicely appointed. Bed was really comfortable that I actually looked forward to it after being in town all day for work. Some food nearby but you do have to travel 15 minutes for variety in town. I’d stay again. I was there for 11 days and never regretted booking.
