The rooms are old and poorly maintained—or receive no maintenance at all. The entrance door kept sticking, and the key cards failed to work on several occasions. The sheets were riddled with cigarette burns, even though we were staying in a non-smoking room.

The property is in a very quiet location. Fast food and grocery stores are less than a mile away. Rooms look nothing like the photos! The cleanliness of the rooms is very poor. Roaches! Roaches in the fridge, roaches in the microwave, roaches everywhere! If you have allergies or asthmatic, this isnt the place for you. I'm disappointed with Expedia for offering this place. Fridge was broken and rusty. Walls are incredibly thin. Rooms are in desperate need of maintenance. A/C units need to be cleaned. Shower doesn't drain well. The property grounds are well kept. That should be true for the rooms we all inhabit.

If you require or could enjoy using, steam iron with the board. ironing so you can get the wrinkles out before you head out and hairdryer to get side swept refrigerator & microwave, easy parking even for a U-Haul. Knowledgeable and friendly staff laundry room is up near the vending and ice machine not far from the pool and hot tub

I stayed less then 45 min. I took pictures (arrived late at night and left almost immediately). This room was absolutely not as it was advertised. I requested a refund and it was not granted. There were roaches, rotting walls, mold, broken mirror, and what looked like blood on the AC. It was super unsanitary with lots of buildup.I am attaching the photos here because noone at the hotel is allowing the refund even though it is a breach of my safety to have booked me in this room and i didnt even stay for an hour.

I really wonder how this hotel got its certificate of occupancy!

For Palm Springs this may be an ok price, but from a Nationwide point of view, to charge $300/day and have a building with such a level of deterioration and deferred maintenance is outrageous.

I’d recommend to the owners of this property to have a structural assessment done. The walkway adjacent to room 216 with its railing and roof supporting framing does not appear to be sound and it is definitely out of plumb. This problem appears to extend to the roof above. The floor between the two beds in room 216 also appears very soft, as if the underlying wood flooring were deteriorated.

The bathroom had numerous repairs made with sealant. Not even of same color than its substrate.

The entrance room door and its hardware and lock does not appear in good condition.

When we arrived they assigned us a room that we didn’t have to go in to see that it hadn’t been cleaned in a good while (we saw it from the window to the open walkway. All messed up!

If I ever have to visit Palm Springs again, O’ll make sure to stay

Well, we booked a one night stay for my wifes birthday to attend the Indian Wells Tennis Tournament using Hotels.com
At checkin, I had booked two rooms, and the front desk personnel kindly informed us that it was only one room. They asked if it was under another person name, my answer was no since I booked both.
Then I verified all my emails and the application changed the number of the second room to one of the persons I entered for the second room.
This is wrong, because I had one reservation number and the system turned them imto two separate reservations.
Long story short, after a lot of investigating we were able to check in and then the hotel personnel was finnaly happy!!! They tried all to help.

The hotel is old and some improvements should take place, however, beds are comfortable, sheets and towels were great almost new, room was clean.
At check out, coffee was very good!!!
Will be back but now we know that Hotels.com has some bugs (in my experience)

Overall my stay was fine, but mostly because it was for one night. The building outside is very weathered with peeling paint and just looking tired.

The room smelled very musty, almost as if it had an old mold issue, and there was clear water damage in many places.

The room itself was clean, and the bed/sheets were fine, but the door barely latched when closed. I felt as if someone could get it open with just a slight kick.

The carpet felt sticky/oily in places.

The staff was quick to attend to me when checking in, and when my key didn't work, but otherwise I didn't interact with them much.

Bugs! Bugs! Bugs! Saw many cockroaches and silverfish. We ended up not staying. We did get room switch and the switch was better. But they put us in same building and the front desk when I mentioned bugs. Just said okay we can switch you. Like it was a normal. But we ended up leaving entirely when we saw another bug in the next room. And pictures not as advertise. Room we got holes, wall paper and paint bubbling, sticky table. Check behind your painting because this giant roach ran behind ours.

The room that we had was in terrible condition. There was more putty holding the door together than wood and light could be seen all around it when it was closed. The bathroom had mold around the tub; the furniture was very worn. We asked for a different room and never received it.
The ad on Expedia said that there was hot breakfast when there was none! We won't be staying there again!

In front of our room smelt like pee. Internet didn't work. Got the internet guy. And he said we'll send somebody out to fix it tomorrow. And we only spent one night. Very disappointed. But it had a warm tub. Not a hot tub. And we couldn't turn on the Jets because the water level was too low.

The hotel is a two star in very very worn out condition. It's true to its two stars. When we requested our room be cleaned, it was tidied, but the dust/grime on the walls and less used areas was very off-putting. And expect bugs crawling in the bathroom, kind of like earwigs. We had to change rooms, the first one was more like a crime scene. The pool was nice and was kept clean. But for the price, you get what you get. The staff are some of the most friendly and helpful I've ever interacted with. The location is amazing, right in a beautiful neighborhood, close to everything and very accessible to downtown. We stayed because it was convenient and the staff did everything to make our stay pleasant.

The main person we interacted with the evening manager and he was very helpful in helping shlep our bags up a steep flight of stairs. His suggestion for late evening dining was perfect for our needs. The facility itself is old and needs a lot of work to be updated. However, we needed something for one night because of a plane mechanical problem and it served our purpose and the bed was surprisingly comfortable.

Place is a dump! Keycards barely work without Jerry rigging them (was told by staff to pull door in and bend card down while inserting/removing) after going back because I couldn’t get the dirt open. Bed is atrociously uncomfortable. Floor carpet felt damp. Bathroom is downright scary dirty - I didn’t even want to take a shower it felt so dirty. You can hear everybody around you through the paper thin walls. Couldn’t check out fast enough… the front desk guy - Dave was extremely nice and helpful for what it’s worth.. place just needs major updating.

How do we get a refund.? The room had cockroaches crawling around and smelled like insecticides and fungicide. The room wasn’t cleaned well . Pubic hair in bathroom. The room was quite dated especially the bathroom, poor caulking, difficult to use shower, lousy shower head etc. The parking lot was full of pot hole. Some guy with a shopping cart left one of the rooms in a frantic hurry in the morning perhaps he was on some city welfare voucher. Parking lot is full of pothole and very poor pavement. Sad because this is really an ideal location. Hotel is a total \"fixer.\" However, a great shout out to the security guard, he patrols, attentive, great attitude and takes his job seriously. All staff in general very pleasant and welcoming, they just have to work with a hotel neglected by owners. Pool looks actually ok and clean from a distance, but did not use it. Avoid if possible.

It was the worst hotel experience in my life. I woke up at 2 AM and found cockroach on my bed and freaked out. I sat in a chair next to a desk and saw another cockroach on the desk. I walked into the bathroom and found two cockroaches in the bathroom. I found a cockroach on the mirror at the sink. I saw a cockroach crawling on the floor. I saw a cockroach crawling up the wal. I went to the front desk and showed him a picture of a cockroach and they said sorry we have no other rooms available. So they couldn’t move me to a different room. I stayed up all night sitting in the chair because I was so freaked out about all the cockroaches. I didn’t know where to go. Hotels.com said they couldn’t help me because it was 3 AM. I didn’t get any sleep that night and it basically ruined my trip. How does this hotel rent out rooms when they know they have a cockroach problem. Disgusting.

THE MOST DISGUSTING TRAP MOTEL! Walk in the room it smells like mold. Carpet is filthy bath tub is stained covered in pain and caulking bathroom tiles broken major cutting hazard BLACK MOLD ALL IVER THE BATHROOM there is no ventilation unless you open the room door or window. mini fridge stunk had food and trash stuck in it. Our bed frames were broken we sunk to the floor no plugs would stay in any of the wall outlets. The TV plug was barely hanging in. Day 1 I ask for housekeeping. THEY NEVER CAME. When I check out I let the 2 woman at the front desk know about the black mold and not getting housekeeping like I requested. All I get is an “OH” this place needs to be shut down and all staff let go! DONT STAY HERE! 1.5 stars on yelp with scary pictures of the rooms!

Our experience at this hotel was awful! It was infested with cockroaches. They were crawling on the walls, nightstand table, the pictures on the walls, my water bottle, the mini refrigerator, and the bathroom mirror. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights and left after the first day. We had to find a new hotel to stay at which made our trip less than ideal.

I killed about 5 cockroaches in our room. One was in the bed, the others in the bathroom. I slept with the light on all night because I was afraid more bugs would come out in the dark.

Actually the staff was really nice. The hotel was completely booked this weekend for cheer competition. The room was in horrible shape. There were holes that had been fixed and it just looked really run down. When i was heating up food in the microwave small roaches were coming out. And because it was completely booked they couldn’t switch my room and i couldn’t move to another hotel. Like I said, the staff was helpful and nice but this was so disappointing and traveling there with kids it’s not easy to have things like this. I fear bringing the roaches home now.

The whole property is run down. The first room we were assigned smelled like cat pee. They immediately changed us to an acceptable room, but it was very dingy and grimy and run down. There was old carpet with soft spots in the floor, peeling wallpaper, cracked frames, old, dirty looking bath tub and surround, poor painting jobs, peeling paint, tepid hot tub and run down grounds and exterior paint and trim and torn up asphalt parking lot. This was extremely overpriced for what it was and I would never stay here again. The pictures on the listing did mislead me in my decision to book this stay. The staff was nice enough.
