The Olympic suite/cottage had an odd musty smell. The rugs needed to be cleaned as they kept shedding hair. At night, the bugs came out around the suite (must have been attracted to light). The primary bathroom toilet got stopped up after one use. The secondary toilet seat had a chip in it. Overall, while the suite's esthetic appeal/decor was nice, it needs a major deep cleaning and improved maintenance.
While the staff attempted to address the smell, the other items did not become apparent until later in the evening before bed and the next morning prior to check out. I was thankful I only booked the room for one night. Maybe the other rooms are nicer.

My French husband was so happy with the breakfast of oh so excellent croissants and fruit! I liked the option to supplement these with chia, or eggs prepared by the staff at Harriet’s, their on site restaurant. We played croquet on a section of the lawn, swam in a pool and reveled in the spacious accommodations. Sadly, we had not enough time to enjoy a massage there, as we had tickets to a show at the Palm Springs Theater, just a few blocks away. Next time!

The staff was very friendly and attentive and the property itself is beautiful and very tranquil. Only stayed for one night but the time spent at the pool felt like I was gone for days. The rooms are nicely furnished with plenty of space and and the robes especially were a highlight. Would definitely one back and stay.

We love Casa Cody so much - we call it our home away from. home. It is so beautiful and truly from the room decor, to the gardens - feels like a home and not a hotel. Because of the heat it was particularly quiet - only a few guests and it felt like a dream. This is not a party - DJ by the pool kind of place - this is a place to truly relax and recharge and reconnect (with yourself or with your travel mates). If you are old-school and don't need pool boys walking around with drinks wtih umbrellas in them, this is the place for you.

Some aspects of Casa Cody are charming and wonderful, but the room itself was not clean and did not seem like 4 star accommodations. Fixtures in our room were falling apart and the bathroom lacks space. Casa Cody is a nice place to stay, but advertising as 4 star is misleading.

They advertise a kitchen. It is purely decorative. Not stocked. No pots or pans or cutlery. The stove? No instructions and it turns out it needs a lighter?? Nickel and dime you with a 30 dollar daily fee. I didn’t have a car. I did not use the pool. I wouldn’t have had breakfast there if I knew it was 30 a day? No instructions for AC which blew cold air on me all night . Couldn’t turn it off. Had headaches from it. No toiletries no soap.

Casa Cody is the most peaceful, tucked away oasis, while also being walkable to most spots in Palm Springs. The pools were to die for and we wished we could have spent a whole week just sitting out by the pool. The grounds were nature-filled and inviting, and the rooms felt private and cozy. This is the perfect spot for a getaway with your partner!
Staff was very helpful — they had a room ready for us several hours before official check-in time, held our bags for us the day we checked out so that we could keep exploring Palm Springs, and very quickly resolved an AC issue in our room.

After our five day stay there this month we vowed we won't stay anywhere else in Palm Springs. The grounds are spectacular, 2 beautiful pools, excellent food, drinks and service. Parking is horrible. I had to park 5 blocks away at one point. The area of the hotel I was put in had a wide open lawn that wasn't well cared for - - no tables, lounges or chairs. The room had no closet or decent place to hang clothes. The furniture that served as the closet didn't open and close well.

Wow this property is way more pretty in person. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. You are surrounded by fruit trees & sustainable landscaping. It’s so serene and there’s so much space to lounge and relax. The most pleasantly surprising feature is the amount of shade from the trees on the property.
