The staff is excellent. My only complaint was the bed was way too soft and I had a back ache, they did offer to change rooms but I was too comfortable to change rooms. The breakfast is really good. I really like that you can swim whenever you want and they don’t close the pool at a certain time, and it’s very quiet. I wish one of the pools was kept warmer like 90

Korakia is beautiful! The aesthetic of the common areas, the two swimming pools, and the rooms is old-world classy, with all kinds of unique and special touches. The staff is also incredibly attentive and kind. In a town of seemingly endless hotels and spas, Korakia stood out as a very special place. Bravo!

The breakfast was simple, fresh, original. Bedding, beds, pillows excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, giving us a room upgrade as the room we originally chose did not quite fit our needs. Every room has a generous layout and unique view into the courtyard with its own patio. It is like a little slice of Greece landing in the desert with the mountains right behind it. There is nothing like it in Palm Springs. It does need a little maintenance yet this does not affect its delicate beauty.

I loved everything about my experience here. The chill vibe, the views, the Moroccan inspired architecture. Check in was easy, we were greeted with a mint tea. Breakfast was prepared daily (included) and was delicious. Relaxing by the pools was amazing. The classic B&W movies under the stars from the pool was pretty cool. Coffee sitting outside my door every morning in a thermos. Staff were attentive and very kind. At night, the entire property lit up with lanterns and candles. It was a perfect stay and I will absolutely be back.

Great stay for people drawn to Bohemian environs, which probably includes many creatives. I stayed in the Bedouin suite. Absolutely loved it. With the suite, you get the pleasant sounds (to me at least) of the courtyard water fountain coming through the windows. I was blown away by every detail from the little informative signs to the construction of the large soaking bath in the suite. Service staff was casual, approachable, and attentive. Every inch of the suite and property overall was deliberately and rigorously unmodern, and that’s wonderful. I cannot wait to stay there again. Only minor complaint is that the record player in the suite doesn’t work well - rpms started to wobble slowly after 20 mins of play.

Great place to stay! We only stayed one night, but we want to make a return trip sooner than later. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating from check in to check out. The grounds are well kept and have lots of areas to lounge and relax. It's a short walk to down town but you feel like you're miles away from anywhere when you're on the grounds.

We love Korakia! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the attention to detail is unmatched. From the welcome mint tea, to the coffee delivered to your door, to the delicious breakfast on the patio, and the cute bikes to ride around town, to the records spinning when you enter your room, and the poolside movies under the stars, everything about this property is magical. This was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had at a resort. My fiancé and I came here to relax and we made the perfect decision staying here. From the room to the amenities, we had the best time. The place is tranquil, quiet, and gorgeous. The pools are perfectly heated and not crowded. The bed was cozy. We loved the record player. Lauryn Hill was on repeat most of the trip. The room service was very convenient. The cherry on top was complimentary breakfast and then bike rides before we left. We will definitely be coming back!

The girls that work there were all fantastic and so accommodating. We ordered take out in and they set up a little table for us rose petal and candles. Lovely!

The last time I was here was 6 years ago for my first Babymoon and this was my first trip back alone sans family, as a mommy retreat to catch up with myself (4th time here ever). Korakia did not disappoint. The grounds are beautiful and charming as ever, breakfasts still delicious, and the energy was perfect for a much needed R&R. The location in the center of town is so convenient for taking the bike out for dinner and shopping. Once you step foot on the property, the restoration magic begins to happen. They were cleaning my suite up to the minute of check in, so no early check in was accommodated. The strong smell of pine was a bit much for me at first but they left the fan on and I opened all the French doors to air it out, so not a big deal, and it was nice to know they thoroughly cleaned everything. I felt comfortable with the cleanliness and the safety procedures at the property. Staff was easy to communicate with via text for anything I needed.
After such a crazy year, I can’t tell you how this trip here has restored my energy in such a short time. I honestly think that there’s no other place I’d rather be than here, if given the choice (and there are plenty) in all of Palm Springs. Everywhere you turn to look you see beauty and the caring that goes into keeping the place lovely. The authenticity of the architecture is true to somewhere actually in the Mediterranean. An escape worth every minute (and pretty penny) without getting on the plane...

My partner and I had been wanting to go to Korakia for so long and I have to say our stay was only ok considering the price. The property was cute but not the kind of sprawling property we thought it was going to be. It's nestled in a neighborhood on two sides of the street so pretty small. Our room was cute and clean and had good ac but pretty quaint. The kitchen was barely stocked like 2 plates, not enough silverware, one pan and thats it. Part of this was because of Covid I think but a warning would've been nice. The pool was so warm it was not refreshing at all. With 100 temperatures this is really unfortunate. We rode the bikes which was nice. The staff was helpful and nice but pretty casual not like an uber professionally trained staff (through no fault of their own). We also found the biggest cockroach we've ever seen in our room. Sure it's very instagram-able but not the luxury experience we wanted.

This property is not for everyone and by that I mean not for us. There are no amenities at all. No phones or TV’s in guest rooms. No music allowed at the pool. No bar. There is absolutely no privacy in the rooms, at all. Curtains do not close all the way and you can see through them. The door barely creaked open and closed and looked like it was going to fall off. Extremely thin walls. Doors and windows had large gaps of air coming in. There is no way to darken the rooif light wakes you up you cannot go back to sleep much less nap at any time. Birds are very loud in the AM and something kept climbing on the roof very loudly. Room was VERY rustic. This place is highly over priced as well. We ended up leaving after two nights even though we booked three because we could not wait to get out of this place. We were charged for 3 nights anyway so $2,250 for the worst experience we have ever had in a hotel. If you want a very boring place to stay that feels like the luxury of “glamping” at best then this place is for you. We were horrified.

Stayed at Korakia a number of times over the years the condition of all rooms we stayed in look as though no maintenance has been performed on any of the rooms in years. The door knob on our last stay was ready to fall off. the toilet if you leaned forward came of the floor. The water spigot on the sink could be spun around. These are all minor things but still need attention.

This was our 5th, and most likely, last stay at this property. It was the first time in a room with a second floor above. These buildings are old and you can hear every movement from the occupants in the room above. It's loud. We mentioned it when checking out and were told the "other" upstairs room has a notice asking the occupants to remove their shoes. Thanks?

We slept in one day since we couldn't sleep from the night before due to the noise from above. When leaving for the afternoon, we asked that our room be cleaned. Upon returning 3 hours later it had not been cleaned. The facility is very small, this should not have been overlooked.

Again, the facility is old. This adds to it's character, but it's getting to a point where some upgrades are needed. Especially in the bathrooms. The plumbing is showing it's age.

Finally, the pool guy showed up at 7am with some loud equipment to clean the pool. The pool is steps away from most of the rooms including ours. This couldn't wait until a later hour in the morning? The advertisement for the facility literally mentions SILENCE.

This area has dozens of small Bed and Breakfast facilities geared towards adults and silence. Choose wisely.

Unique and relaxing

This is a very beautiful resort with antique buildings and very special touches. A lot of thought clearly went into making it a unique experience that makes you feel you are in Europe or Morocco. The breakfasts are very good home cooking type of experience. Not gourmet but just really good food. They have gotten very busy with all of the press they have received, so I think they are still playing catch up. There was always a dearth of towels by the pool and the pool was not attended to often enough. There are also a lot of bugs in the desert and many of them make their way into the rooms, including mosquitos that Palm Springs now has because of the humidity from all of the golf courses and forced greenery. If all of Palm Springs used landscaping like they do at this resort, this wouldn't be a problem, but it is. I got about 27 mosquito bites while sleeping. So the rooms probably could use better sealing and bug control. The air conditioning is also a little loud. But I will be coming back (mosquito repellant and bug spray in hand) and will enjoy this unique place again.

It's beautiful, but I was waiting in the lobby after a long day of work for 15 minutes to check in and there was no one to greet me. There were other guests waiting in the lobby to check in as well. I didn't realize that at the time?
Finally I called the hotel phone from my cell and said I was trying to check in. Someone finally came to the lobby to help me and then asked the other people standing around if they needed help.
"Yes" they replied. "We were here first and want to check in too"

It was 7:30 at night?!
Not a good reception or intro to the hotel.

Then I asked if I could get a wake up for 6am so I'd be ready for work and the woman said no that no one would be there.
Then I couldn't find an outlet in the bedroom for my cell to charge or my computer and had to put them in the other room, which meant I couldn't use them.

But, it's a gorgeous hotel and property.

My wife and I were greatly impressed by the property. It was exactly what we were looking for, tranquil and relaxing. The design of the hotel is exceptional and we wish we could have stayed longer. The only draw back was not having a 24 hour front desk when we had to check in late, But other than that would definitely recommend.

This property was the epitome of relaxation. Spent a few days here for our babymoon & was so sad to leave. The staff is excellent! The grounds are peaceful and gorgeous. The room was clean, spacious & inviting. Especially the beautiful stone tub in our bathroom. The included breakfast was fantastic! I don’t have any complaints about this property. The Korakia does an amazing job of creating relaxing spaces to sit throughout the property. They even play a classic movie each night once the sun goes down. All in all it was the perfect place to relax & recharge. Thank you Korakia for such a wonderful stay.

Very idyllic setting. It felt like we were the only people staying at the resort though the hotel as filled to capacity. Really enjoyed having the bicycles available to get around town and breakfast was delicious. Cons, the bathroom had a slow draining tub and rooms could have been cleaned more thoroughly everyday. Great decor, hardworking sweet staff, simple breakfasts and good coffee. Lots of nooks and fire pits to enjoy the evening outside. Really lovely.

Beautiful boutique hotel - very peaceful

The room we had picked was nice, but very cramped - on the Mediterranean side. The bedroom had no space between the bed and the walls, and there was nowhere to unpack or put our clothes. The bathroom was tiny and the shower had absolutely no water pressure. Luckily they had two other rooms available so we shifted (both were great) to a suite on the Moroccan side. We loved it. The room was fabulous, the staff are wonderful, the pool areas are gorgeous. Breakfast on the patio and lunch by the pool were lovely. A beautiful, quiet boutique hotel, in a great location.

The website oversold the hotel a bit, in my opinion. For example, the “afternoon tea” is really just a pot of tea on a table next to tiny cups of pine nuts and dates. The room was nice but much smaller than I would have expected for the price, and a bit less comfortable and private. For example, the floors were made of stones that were easy to trip on. Also, the shower was not super clean and it was easy to see into the bathroom from the outside due to the minimal window coverings. The pools were nice but only one seemed well-maintained; the other had towels strewn about. The breakfast was excellent.
