The room was great for my family of 4 (kids 6 and 12 yrs old). We enjoyed the separate living room area from the bedroom. The beds seemed more like a full size than a queen size like the description said so it was a bit tight. We tried to use the pullout bed in the living room, however the mattress was not great. As you laid down you felt the springs on your back, so we just used the couch for my husband. The staff were all great. We used the pool all weekend and that was very nice. The whole family enjoyed it. The location can't be beat either. So close to the casino, about a 6 min walk. Soo many restaurants to choose from. We will definitely come back.

The room was hot. The air conditioner was not working well in our room. The water was also cloudy in our room. I was disappointed with this stay. When I told them when we were checking out, they just shrugged their shoulders. We have been coming here for almost 10 years and noticed how it has started to go down hill. You have to pay for parking now, same place. I think we will be going elsewhere now.

The front desk staff were awesome - gave us a later check out time due to an excursion we were on. However, the place needs a total renovation. The toilet wouldn't flush, the safe did not work, and the tub wouldn't drain. In general the walls, carpet, etc were in need of replacing. Plus $31 to park was outrageous. Would not stay there again.

We had a pleasant stay and the location is excellent. But it would have been better if the furniture i.e. the couch/sofa-bed were up to date, or at least not so worn. Also, we stayed in a \"handicap\" room, but the problem was that we did not have a walk-in or roll-in shower. It was a bathtub with safety bars and a shower hose. Unfortunately, I was not able to step over the edge of the bathtub to climb inside the tub to shower. That was very disappointing. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable.

I enjoyed the hotel. The room was very clean and lovely. Everyone was friendly. I just wished the parking situation was better. I paid for overnight parking and I couldn’t park all night because they have limited spaces. They need to fix the parking. But the pool was cool and the location was the best thing.

Clean and spacious room (we got the mountain view, beautiful and quiet), helpful and friendly staff, and you can’t beat the location. It’s right in the middle of downtown, walking distance to a lot of museums, food, and shopping. The property probably hasn’t been upgraded in a while, there were a lot of little scuffs, scratches and tears in the room and common areas, but I don’t care much about that as long as it’s clean. Overnight parking is $30 which you have to purchase separately, it’s not a hotel charge, which is a little annoying but you can always find parking in the surrounding area if you want.

Location is very convenient and parking off street was easy. I must admit that I was taken aback by the charge of $100 for my 20lb male woodle dog. In my opinion, “dog friendly” means anything more than dog treats in a cookie jar at check in counter. That being said I enjoyed the stay. The hotel needs a facelift for sure but would stay there again for convenience!!!

The parking wasn't the greatest especially for handicap people,and I waited at the bar to get a cocktail the young lady seen me walk up and didn't say nothing, continued to dry her bar glasses and then another couple walked up and she ask them what they would like,I was on vacation and I guess they didn't want my money so I left

I think they should work in few things and the stay would be great the hotel is in a great location but the toilets pressure is horrible u need to flushed out 3-4 times to get it clean and the curtains are old and dirty doesn’t work properly plus the stairs smell bad stuff should be more friendly and welcome guess with a enthusiastic smile and attitude plus remaining the all amenities in the property I didn’t know they serve free breakfast until I check out

I love this hotel. I am a repeat stayer, and I definitely overlook maintenance issues.
For example, this time, my toilet wouldnt flush for real unless i opened up the tank and pulled the chain manually, the light on the balcony flickered all night, and the lights in the bedroom didnt work. And the hot tub was broken for the first night.
BUT, the design of the hotel is great, I love the layout of the rooms, the location is perfect. So in palm springs, i am never happy staying anywhere else. Ive prob stayed here 10 times and every room has some sort of maintenance issue. They should honestly start remodeling rooms one by one.

It was our first time stay at this hotel my boyfriend went to take a shower and the shower was full of hairs on the wall on the floor I don’t think the house keeper even touch the shower I called front desk. They said they were going to try to get someone to clean but of course it was after 5pm so basically nothing was done they said there was not another room to put us in so I had to clean the shower my self. So next time when I check in at 4pm I will be checking. Shower for cleanliness

1st of all the hotel didn’t have a valet !! You have to park your car in a parking behind the hotel which charges you $30 a night!! The parking was so spooky!! The lobby is not nice either there is no furniture or chairs there to sit!!:(
After we went to our room I wanted to call the front desk/ room service but the phone didn’t work ! The sofa bed was so old that you couldn’t sleep on it !(the mattress was so old the wires were out) totally disappointed!!! Honestly I’m not going back there anymore!👎👎

This hotel is in a great location buut is VERY OUTDATE! It's old inside the rooms. The fire alarm test went off 3 times in the morning which was annoying. You have to pay 32 a night for parking and the parking is undergound and the spaces are tight! Not happy be cause of the price and how old it is.

Great location. Responsive staff who helped us secure more towels and blankets quickly. They also send HVAC support when it seemed like our AC wasn't working well.

The place is not updated: tub had layers of paint or sealant missing so I didn't feel comfortable giving my child a bath. The drain was also SLOW so be prepared to shower in ankle high water. There was **hair on the toilet seat when we first walked in, the coffee pods were expired, and I had very little faith that the carpets and surfaces have ever been deep cleaned..it just feels crusty.

The pool was nice but again, a little crusty.

Also, we were told to buy parking but when we went to park, ALL OF THE SPOTS were taken. We had to petition LAZ Parking for a reimbursement..which they did reimburse us. I wish the staff had told us that parking was at capacity before we bought the daily pass.

It's located right in the center of downtown Palm Springs so we walked everywhere. The architecture was interesting and the interior was well decorated. The room was split into separate living and sleeping areas. The living area was bright and cheery and the sleeping area was dark and quiet. The bathroom was large and sparkling clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the amazing swimming pool. We had a great stay at the Hyatt and would recommend it to everyone.

It is very close to the Convention Center, where we were attending a Competition on Saturday and Sunday, and we were able to walk to the Agua Caliente Casino for some fun Saturday Night.
The Parking Garage has very limited spaces and is a nightmare for anything above a compact car. We have a Toyota Tundra and finally found a space, very tight next to a pole.
Our room was clean, but definitely in need of a refresh. Couch, chairs and much of the furniture was very worn, as well as the hallway carpets.
Every Staff person we had contact with was helpful and friendly. Cudos to the Employees!

The entire hotel is old and not the nicest. Location is prime and the rooms are big so overall I would go back. I just think it it could use a lot of upgrades or just replace some of the older things. Most of staff was friendly. They did misplaced my credit card from the Pool when I went to close out and then didn’t seem to care until I made it a priority. They did find it, but they really don’t have a full proof system so I definitely wouldn’t give them anything to open a tab charge it to your room.

Was booked for adjoining rooms but they did not have any! We asked for blankets and pillows for the extra pullout in the room and we waited so long we went to the lobby and they just gave it to us to deliver ourselves. No valet parking! Tub was clogged and tv did not work. We called the desk and about 2 hours later someone walked into our room to fix both!

This is a very outdated property that requires major overhaul of its rooms. The rooms at dated, have a moldy smell, although the linens were clean. I had much different expectations for the property especially since it was $750 a night. Definitely not worth $750/night. Get your act together Hyatt.

As most other people reviewed, this is an old property that does not meet Hyatt standards. Building need lots of improvements. If it were a lower grade hotel chain I would have given it a better review. If you are expecting Hyatt quality, you will be disappointed. The hotel is right downtown with lots of good restaurants and shops. It's worth staying there because of the nice area. Just don't expect much from the hotel quality.

The place felt incredibly nasty! The sheets they gave us for the sofa bed had what looked like menstrual stains (lined up around that location) on them . The sofa bed mattress looked so disgusting that my wife & I chose to sleep on it & to give our 14yr old son the bed so that he could sleep. My wife didn’t sleep b/c of the springs poking her. The room smelled like hotel (old smoking room). This is not a Hyatt. I would equate it to a red roof Inn of motel 6.

There is no room service, which I really miss. There is not a single clock of any kind in the room, and even the television had no digital time display, which was awkward for me. The bathroom needed some minor maintenance: tub stopper was disconnected, cover plate on the tub faucet was disconnected, and the toilet kept running.

Older hotel, could use some room updates. Overall we had a great experience at PS Hyatt. Breakfast was outstanding & kids played in pool all day. Had nice view of pool & mountains from our balcony. Walking distance to everything in Palm Springs strip. Quick check-in & parked for free in public garage & on-street. Hotel had one of the nicest weight rooms I have ever used in a hotel. All equipment was like new. We will book again

The property in general is nice but in need of an upgrade. Worn carpets, worn bathroom fixtures, no USB ports. In addition to the resort fee there’s a $30/night parking fee. The property is charging premium prices for just sub par facilities. Most 3 star hotels are much nicer than this Hyatt.

The view was great, the room was very clean and nice. The staff were nice, but seemed untrained and completely unaware. One wait staff stopped everything to hunt for his cell phone (he was starting to make a drink at the time). We saw Easter brunch signs, so asked staff in the restaurant and they didn’t know when it started or if we needed reservations and neither did the front desk. At the bar someone may or may not serve you. The umbrellas at the pool kept falling over and were really heavy (one hit someone) We told one of the staff and she said, “and did you see how many towels people are using?”. They weren’t rude or not nice, it was kinda weird.

Well, you can look at the place as desperately being in need of a renovation...or being charmingly retro. Being charmingly retro ourselves, we choose that. Think of it as being in a time capsule from the 80's. That being said, the staff was excellent, the rooms surprisingly spacious, and all the public spaces were very well maintained. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of downtown. Would we stay there again? Absolutely.

Staff is very friendly and prompt to contact you or say hello. Rooms are dated and a bit dark, but clean and functional. Bed is very comfortable. Pool is also dated, but clean and towels were always available.

She stated would have to send someone to switch from heating to cooling in side the hall in the bathroom. The fan in bathroom wasn’t working. It was clean and staff were nice. Charged a $69 resort fee supposedly with Hotels.com all should be included.

The hotel is extremely noisy. The first room we were given was practically in the lobby of the hotel. We could hear the echoes of every conversation through our room. Doors were constantly slamming by the second night. The staff was able to move us to a new room, however, the club speakers from drag brunch were booming all morning.

I was very disappointed with this Hyatt stay.

My room had no window to the outside — only a window facing the hallway, which made the space feel dark and claustrophobic. The carpet was visibly worn and ripped in places, adding to an overall sense of neglect.

The bathroom was particularly problematic. The outdated whirlpool-style tub had an extremely wide, high ledge, making it very difficult (and honestly unsafe) to climb into for a shower. I literally had to hold onto the wall and crawl over the edge. To make matters worse, the tub did not drain properly, so I was standing in pooled water while showering.

The refrigerator contained someone else’s leftover food upon arrival, which raises serious concerns about housekeeping standards.

Overall, this room felt poorly maintained and below what I would expect from the Hyatt brand. I hope management takes these issues seriously and addresses both cleanliness and safety concerns.

This property is unkept and understaffed. Our room was filthy. I went to the front desk to ask for a room change and showed them photos. The front desk agent was rude and unapologetic. The second room was just as dirty. The room was missing bedding, I requested it be brought to the room. 5 hours later we still had not received the bedding. I had to go down to the front desk and request it again, at 9:30pm. The agent said it would be brought up “in like 10 minutes”. 30 minutes later it still had not arrived, at which time I went to the front desk for the 3rd time and asked for the bedding to be handed to me. The elevator was broken and half of the rooms are located outside like a motel. This is not your typical Hyatt.

The staff was excellent. The hotel room was not up to par with other hyatts I’ve been to. The plumbing was bad and the sink and shower was leaking. They were doing some kind of repair work very early in the morning as well. Also the couch bed mattress was horrible, I know they usually aren’t the best but this thing seemed 80 years old so I ordered a roll away bed and you could feel every spring in that one as well. The location is great but they need to upgrade the beds for sure!

The room was terrible. There were old sheets on the pullout couch. It smell like someone recently used the bathroom. I seen the maintenance guy come out of that riim before it was assigned to my family and I. The carpets were dirty, the couch smelled awful, and the room overall was not like what was advertised online. The Hyatt is usually a prestige stay especially since the cost was over $500 for one night in place like Palm Springs. Completely sad. I want a full refund immediately hotel, incidentals, and hotel parking. Also the hotel parking garage is falling apart very unsafe down there.

The hotel is very outdated and in desperate need of updating. Furniture, flooring to include tile and carpet in our room, very shabby. The round dining table is very unstable and seemed unsafe. The couch cushions completely deflated into the couch.

This hotel does definitely not reflect the usual caliber of a Hyatt. The location is ideal and very centrally located but until it is refreshed and updated we would not stay there again.

However, Lesly at the front desk was super sweet and helpful checking us in. We had a late flight into PSP but she made sure we got settled and helped us find the hotel parking. If it hadn't been for her the rating would have been lower than 4 stars.
