The man who checked us in was friendly , asked why we were in town , recommended local restaurants. It’s an older property and not fancy but the room was very clean , the beds were comfortable ( we were only there to sleep) . The hot water took a long time to get there and never got really hot . The location is great , price was fair especially for the weekend of tennis we were there for . It’s basic , no amenities but there are times when that’s ok . I’d recommend if one is looking for a place to sleep that isn’t in the middle of town but walkable and well situated to decent places to eat and drink . The neighborhood behind is a nice place to walk in the early morning and Koffi is 10 minutes away

Wasn’t expecting anything luxurious, bed was comfy and the AC worked.
The room was very dated which wouldn’t normally be an issue but it wasn’t very clean. Bits of hair in the corners and some small dead bugs in the back room. Shower had conditioner in the shampoo, and empty body wash.

Not a deal breaker but I hoped for better. Location is good, wifi is fine, pool and hot tub were nice.

For the price it was fine but we will be staying elsewhere next time.

Check in was interesting. The guy was nice. I was signing for my room and the amount was not shown on the screen. I asked what I was being charged and was told it was over $30 more than on the Expedia. I was told the price changes sometimes with Expedia. That never happened to me. With a long explanation, the amount was adjusted to the original amount. The room was nice and quiet except you can hear the street cars all night. The hot water took a long time to warm up. The big disappointment was the pool was too cold and the jacuzzi had a yellow tint even after the pool guy cleaned it.

I love this place! Very cozy and quiet. It is set back off the main road so it’s very quaint. The owners are very nice and welcoming. The weather wasn’t too good so I didn’t get to use the pool but I checked it out and it’s a nice pool area. They have laundry facilities also. The room was very clean and spacious with a microwave and fridge

The first room I was given was occupied by someone. For the second attempt at an unoccupied room, the manager gave me an invalid keycard. He had to go back to the office to get another keycard because I had asked him to come with me by this point to make certain the room was clean and available.

Nobody expects the Taj Mahal in Palm Springs at this price, so I think it's a fair value. That said, know there is some puffing on the marketing. The room we were in needed a mattress upgrade. And, to belabor the obvious, it's a 1960s style motel, and you can hear your neighbors. Beyond that, the front desk and housekeeping staff were attentive, the pool/jacuzzi area met expectations, and our stay was quite acceptable.

I was traveling alone and had to get a room at a fairly late time of day ( 9 p.m) but the Adara Hotel was kind and very accommodating. The room was small but adorable and very very clean and cozy. Everything I needed was there: Coffee maker (with delicious coffee), Shampoo, body wash, hangers for my clothes. If I am ever in Palm Springs again I will be staying at the Adara Hotel again.

The staff was kind and accommodating but the room itself wasn’t up to standard the ac unit was hardly pumping any air and I had to thoroughly clean the filters on it and the unit itself because of how dusty and dirty it was. Also the sponge to clean the dishes was already used up and the fridge wasn’t very clean.

First of all it was my first time staying here. Bela the front office manager was sooo amazing!! She let me check in 30 minutes earlier: my room (25) was so cute, nice and clean! The bed was comfy and the 4 fluffy pillows were even better! I got into the pool, it was sooo peaceful. I was able to play my speaker (kinda loud) and no one told me anything about turning it down lol the walls are not thin, I didn’t hear anything all night. My only regret is that I only stood for one night. I’m definitely coming back soon 🙂

Staff was fantastic and friendly. Unfortunately, the ice machine it was broken. The hotel was as clean as my teenager Would clean it if I had to bribe them with money. A old boutique hotel. Needs a lot of upgrades, and a lot of work. The bed was insanely uncomfortable for the price point. I could have gone to Motel 6 for cheaper and got more for my money. The bathroom had no vent and a shower that resembled Norman Bates hotel and psycho could not even shower there. And the God, awful smell of mold would linger in the room. Not because of not being clean, it's just how old it is. Made the best of it but would not stay here again. Staff was very, very friendly, though.

The bathroom was HUGE! I think it was for handicapped people. I found the place so charming and SO convenient… like what PS used to be like in the 1960s. If you’re looking for a glamorous spa, this isn’t it, but the staff is so friendly and the room was great. I slept like a log.

My stay was quick at Adana, but it did exactly what I needed it to do. The woman at the front desk was very personable and so sweet. We got to our room, and it hadn’t been cleaned yet, so she upgraded us to the king room. The property is a bit dated, but for a short stay, it was great.

This hotel was terrible. There was no ice machine, no kleenex, old furniture, old bathroom floors, dirty grout bathroom floors, scary parking in the back lot and scary room with one lock. I did not feel safe. Would never stay at this hotel again.

Would Rather Pay More Elsewhere

During check in, we were told to run the shower for a while to get hot water. Ran it for 10-15 minutes and never got hot water. Cold showers are unacceptable. Shower head then dripped constantly for hours.

Thumping noises above us all night long prevented us from getting much sleep during our two night stay. We have no idea what was going on above us.

Positives were good parking and the location near downtown. We do not care about dated decor when paying for a budget room, but when your room isn’t comfortable or fully functional, it is not something we could ever recommend to someone.

The owners of this hotel are incredible! I was travelling with my mom and asked for a room downstairs. There was only one available, but for a higher price, however we got it for the same price as the smaller room. Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality! The room was very clean, large and had a nice ambient. We loved it there - it was not the first time at Adara, and we will be back!

Pool & jacuzzi were dirty. Staff gave excuse about reasons for the junk in the pool but offered to clean it. Later at night tried to use jacuzzi but dirt that was settled at bottom made it unsuitable for use! The purpose of the trip was to relax poolside and jacuzzi! Ruined trip!!

The toilet kept running off and on all night. The walls are paper thin and I could hear the guests next to my room all night. For whatever reason, they were up until after 3 am. The rooms need to be repainted. The good things were the bed was comfy and the bedding wasn't too bad.

Caring owners who respond quickly and pleasantly

First of all, the owner is incredibly invested in her guests' comfort and satisfaction. When I experienced a relatively minor issue, she was right there with the fix. I would have rated this property higher if it were cleaner and if the kitchenette were better equipped. The cooking pots were so creepy, they seriously should be trashed. Fortunately, the microwave worked well for my purposes. The location is very good and my unit, #50 was perfect for me. No pets and no smoking policies were also appreciated. Because my reservation was comparatively last minute during Modernism Week, I had to pay way too much but that was dictated more by demand than overpricing by the owner.

The place is completely outdated with very old furnishings, decor. It was obvious that no money was spent on updating the place. Areas of dry wall were patched but not painted. The shower was tiny, with the oldest tile I have ever seen. The pool and jacuzzi looked green, the stucco cracked all around the outside pool area. When the attendant gave us the room key , she asked for us to return the little paper packet the room key was in. That little paper placket had been used before, as there was whiteout on the previous room number. I would never stay here again.

HIDDEN GEM!!! If you're looking for a nice, clean, welcoming and charming place to stay without paying resort fees or parking fees, then stay at Adara! First, I was greeted by one of the owners who was as nice as could be. Check in was smooth, fast and friendly - what hospitality should be. You can tell that your comfort during your stay is actually important to her and it's such a nice change from the hourly employee at the chain hotels.

The property is vintage - as you would expect in Palm Springs! And it's kept in nice condition with the grounds neatly landscaped and rooms appointed with standard equipment which you'd get up charged for at most places. Parking lot as well lit and property has a very safe feeling. THE ROOM WAS SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. You could literally eat off the floor!

So if you want boutique charm with staff that truly cares in a price range that won't break the bank, you won't find any better than Adara. These people know hospitality and it shows throughout in every detail.
So if you're on the fence, trust me on this one -you won't regret the decision to stay here!

Very disappointed with our stay. Room and bathroom were large but had zero ventilation. Bathroom fan and light didn’t work. Nothing would dry because there was so much moisture in the air. Towels were horribly stained and had holes in them. There was no maid service still because of the pandemic the sign said. Pool heater was not working so it was unusable. Bedding also had holes in it. Expected more from this hotel chain.

We stayed here for the 2nd time on accident. No improvement noted since first stay. Jacuzzi was dirty (my husband brushed it) probably due to lack of use/attention. We had dirty marks on our sheets when we arrived to maid had to change the sheets our. Bath towels are too thin and small. Lots of potential here but missed the mark. Could be a more \"boutique\" feel but has work needed to take it to the next level.

We were in room 45. Nice size room had been updated but the bathroom sink was clogged and we had to use the kitchenette sink. But the kitchenette sink had no hot water. Mattress was extra hard. Small towels in the bathroom and the pool was very dirty.

This is an older motel but the management is busy keeping it maintained. They took very good care of us too. Not a party motel, quiet guests looking for a clean reasonably priced place to stay. The shower had great water pressure and the pool was a nice and relaxing place to spend time.
