Didn’t connect to internet. Nice part of town, pool was clean, not crowded, although the male adult that appeared to be struggling to “stay awake” (according to a staffer) did not appear to be a hotel guest. The beds were fine, the trim was falling off of one piece of furniture, interesting corner shower was a bit cramped, plenty of pressure but not quite clean. It was what I expected from a Motel 6

Juan the manager and his staff are wonderful, they make the stay enjoyable. Plus this location is very close so many restaurants and other desert attractions.

Room wasn’t bad, but the bed definitely needs replacing. Area very sketchy. Was woke up up at 2:30am with people running by our door and then someone pounding on our door wanting in. Called the front desk to tell them there were issues. When we checked out we asked about it and the previous desk clerk didn’t even mention there were issues. The grounds were a homeless area.

They had no record of our Orbitz reservation even though I had the email and confirmation number. This is not acceptable. Remove this hotel from your offerings.

That should’ve been a sign for me to go elsewhere. The room was disgustingly dirty. It smelled of cigarettes, marijuana and wet dog. There was no water pressure at the sink; it was a literal trickle. It took over six minutes, yes I timed it, for the water to get warm enough to shave. Shaving and brushing your teeth required catching water in cups. Fortunately the room had cups and a disposable ice bucket, but that’s where the “extras” stopped.

However, there was no hair dryer, microwave, fridge or coffee maker in the room. These are basic amenities. We’re on a 2,500 mile cross country road trip with multiple hotel stops and I can’t believe this place is in business. My guess is that they have an hourly rate as well. Outside of our room, we got to hear the haggling between a man and woman who was a member of the world’s oldest profession.

The shower was a corner unit with a filthy shower curtain that barely functioned. The shower lever was stripped out so finding a temp between scalding and freezing was a challenge that tested my patience. The pressure was slightly better but if you have long hair I wouldn’t recommend it. And you better have your own shampoo and conditioner because all you get is a small bar of soap.

Why didn’t I go elsewhere? They wouldn’t refund any money back from the reservation and several

Room wasn't spotless and would be nice to have shampoo and conditioner for travelers like I whom forget. Also, few small issues with cleanliness of the room, but, it's the desert and seasonal changes make the bugs and things an inevitability and so really no shame on the property. In fact, at a Motel 6, I can't say I've ever felt more welcomed and appreciated as a guest with several stressful things going on. AMBER COLEMAN, CALEB, KIM, everyone in HR ought notice and be thankful for such a highly efficient, kind, hospitality first with a natural humaity somehow blended, who provide not only quick, effectient, effect, and expeditious check-in's, but also take the time to invest in the guests stay which enhances the entire experience. We have stayed at this Motel 6 several times. We like the location for hiking and biking. Two years ago we found a bed bug in our room. Before this week's trip, I phoned the manager Juan and asked if there had been any bed bug incidents lately. He said not lately and that he deals with any reports of bed bugs immediately. He also has a pest control service spray twice per month. He said he takes pride in his property, so we decided to give it a try and booked our stay. We were pleased not to find bed bugs, but we did find three German cockroach nymphs. I got two of them into a container and took them to Juan. He was not alarmed at all. He denied that they were German cockroaches, even though I was sure of it, and google lens verified it. I'll include a photo I took. Juan said they were bugs that lived in the vegetation around the pool and sometimes got into rooms. German cockroaches do not live in outdoor vegetation. I told him we did not want to bring them or any bugs or their eggs home, and he said indifferently, \"You won't.\" German cockroaches are notorious hitchhikers, and we were concerned, but he was not. We inspected all our possessions and washed everything when we got home, but I was not happy with Juan's cavalier attitude. This motel is great in so many ways. Our room was clean. The parking lot is well lit. The location is great. But I don't appreciate our concerns being dismissed as if unreasonable. Juan did say he'd treat our room, so that's at least something.

We canceled the moment we showed up, the room was humid, the AC did not work, the TV did not work, Holes in the wall and on the table,it was dirty in the sleeping area and the bathroom. The main door had a small gap and you can see/hear outside. Big group of people hanging out late at night drinking, smoking, and partying in the walkway area and halls, security did nothing about it. I canceled our trip and found a different hotel only for Motel 6 to charge my complete stay 4 days later, even after talked to the front desk and them saying with will cancel everything.

The property itself was fine being one of the least expensive in the city. I did find a hair in the bed and there was some hair in the corner of the room. The worst part was the people next to me being drunk, loud, and obnoxious. Myself and others called the front desk. They did come and tell them to settle down but they started up again shortly after. I called the front desk again and they did come back out and speak with them again but they never stopped making noise and talking loudly outside of their room. Others called again as well. The next day when I checked out being very tired from a lack of sleep, I asked about it and the front desk just said sorry about that. They said that there were other individuals in other rooms making noise as well so it wasn’t just the people next to me. I asked what does it take to actually remove a guest from the motel? Why would a company allow guests in a room to ruin the sleep and peace of several others? I basically got a shoulder shrug and another apology. My experience would have been better obviously without the a’holes next to me.

The main guests of this hotel are marginalized people, drug addicts, and alcoholics. The TV is on loudly 24/7. Drug addicts leave their rooms every five minutes and slam the door loudly. There's a constant smell of cigarettes and weed because they smoke in their rooms or near their doors.
It's better to sleep in a car than to be around animals.

This motel 6 is certainly way better than the downtown location. Motel 6 east Palm Springs has the best staff. Juan the manager is such a great guy who gives the best service and attitude without even asking for it. Kimberly is a ray of sunshine and has great customer service.
