The room didn’t seem like it was in great condition. Pictures and what we actually saw was not similar. No art on any walls. The hallways smelled of weed. And in the morning a giant cockroach was in between the bathroom towels and was crawling all over the bathroom counter. Thankfully they were able to switch our rooms after we requested it to a much nicer room. The key sensor is very annoying too. We kept getting locked out of our rooms and the walk to the lobby was so inconvenient. We made sure to not keep the key near our phones and it still would not work. We probably had to go to the lobby about 10 times to get our keys activated. Even sometimes right after they would « activate « it again. And the employees always seemed so annoyed and agitated. The vibe of the hotel could be great but I definitely would not stay there again.

The whole area could have been a bit cleaner, especially the hall carpets. The room was dated but ok, liked that we had a mini fridge and the little make up removal kit in the bathroom, and the ac worked great. The pool was kind of small and not a lot of seating for the amount of people that were there. Didn’t get to go to the on-site restaurant or bar but they looked cool and I liked the drag brunch offer on Sundays. The photobooth and vibe in the lobby were great and they had loaner bikes. Overall an ok stay minus the lack of space at the pool and the fact that it was kept very clean.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The property is run down and does not match the experience you would expect for the price. The pool water was dirty, the bedding looked old and worn, and the carpets throughout the hotel were stained and unclean.

During our stay, the electricity went out, which made the experience unbearable in the extreme Palm Springs heat. The gym was also disappointing it is outdated and only has a handful of machines, offering very limited workout options.

To make matters worse, the hotel charged me a $329 smoking and cleaning fee. No one in our party smokes, and we did not leave the room in poor condition. In fact, we had previously requested housekeeping service, but our room was never cleaned during our stay.

Overall, between the poor maintenance, lack of cleanliness, power outage, and what I believe to be an unjustified charge, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel is very outdated. The check in time is 4pm, we missed the DJ because check in is so late and it ends at 5. By the time we got in our room they were done. Honestly next time I rather spend more money and get a cleaner, newer room. Glad we only spend one night there.

The best thing about this place was the pool party with awesome DJ’s (especially the female DJ!!!) on Saturday!!! Loved the vegan options on the menu and the automatic 12 pm checkout time was also very much appreciated! We will therefore definitely be back!

The location is great it's my favorite hotel in PS! We had issues with the AC and there was beeping noise every 30 minutes.
I called but no one came to fix it. So it was two nights dealing with an AC not working properly and an unidentified noise.

The hotel is the same as advertised. So if you are expecting what is pictured that is what you get. Hotel staff are nice. The pool is a vibe and the restaurant taco bar has great food. Comments for improvement - the purple carpet everywhere makes the hotel look really dirty. It’s just a hard color to keep clean. Suggest replacing with LVP or hardwood. The $35 daily resort fee is a little excessive - you don’t really get any amenities for that cost. With that said the ability to take bikes out is a nice feature, but they are the creepiest bikes and make you sign a waiver that if damaged you pay $550 (way more expensive than the cost of the bike). The location is great as well, and there is ample parking. The fridge in the room is a bonus and welcomed.

A lot of attention and focus (marketing and promotional) are given to the pool area and events. THIS is what seems to attract people to the space. They had great DJs and a good pool space, and the color/design of the hotel was a cute aesthetic…but the entire venue is severely understaffed. Wait times were a little extreme (long), the gym was filthy (hadn’t been cleaned or restocked in 3 days-the length of our stay), cabana value was not it (stained couches, ripped tents, digital equipment didn’t work at first and took awhile for maintenance to come fix)…and worst of all-the “high speed” internet was TERRIBLE. Probably won’t stay again, but likely attend an event at the location.

It was a bit run down.
The king size bed turned out to be a queen.
The hot and cold spigot was reversed and it burned me.
Three of the five lights in the room didn’t work.
The bathtub stopper didn’t work.
The food was so so…nothing to write home about. Also worth mentioning is that they use plastics when you order room service…not sustainable or environmentally conscious.
The pool however was absolutely fantastic. Deep and saltwater. Excellent.

The hotel is brightly colored and full of kitschy accents that give it a fun Palm Springs mood. The room was a little underwhelming, painted wallpaper that was starting to split and a Motel 6 feeling bathroom. Everything needed a touch up. We stayed on a weekend and they pump DJ music all weekend long from 11-7, the bass was so loud I couldn't take a nap with earplugs. They also have really bad wifi in an area where my phone wasn't getting LTE. Glad I saw it but I will stay elsewhere next time.

I had high expectations for The Saguaro Palm Springs because it looks colorful and beautiful in photos, but our stay was disappointing. The room had several maintenance issues. The outlet next to the bed did not work and was only temporarily fixed. Later, the bathroom light stopped working. I called the front desk, but no one answered, so we could not shower properly. I was staying with my mother, who was born in 1955, and my 10-year-old daughter. After a full day at the pool, not being able to shower was extremely uncomfortable. My mother also has difficulty with her legs, which made it even more stressful.

On Friday night, the shampoo and conditioner were empty. I called around 8:20 PM and was told twice that someone would come shortly, but no one came. By 10:00 PM, it was still not handled, and the front desk did not answer.

The pool and jacuzzi were also not clean. Dead bugs were floating in both. I did not see a lifeguard or staff actively monitoring the pool area. Some guests were playing roughly with a ball, and others were smoking cigarettes and using vapes. I told a pool waiter about the smoking, but nothing was done.

We reserved a cabana and expected a clean, safe, relaxing poolside experience. Unfortunately, the room issues, poor service response, pool cleanliness problems, and lack of rule enforcement made this stay far from what we expected. The hotel is photogenic, but the actual guest experience did not match the online image. Very disappointing!!!

Place has such a fun cute vibe, however it could use a deep clean and maybe a face lift. Its a colorful and fun property with pool parties on the weekends and drag shows in the cantina; however the issues are in the details. Everything was a bit rundown. I arrived and immediatley noticed the worn state of the room with light fixtures falling off the walls, rusty or broken bathroom fixtures, multiple stains in the carpet and stained/ripped drapes.

Things like this extended out to the pool deck with rusty and stained sunbeds (which go for $100/day) dirty chairs.. ripped or broken umbrellas. Etc. Also noted that the pool deck was just dirty.. trash, used towels, and empty cocktails laying around.

General housekeeping was also lacking. The halls and breezeways were pretty unkempt with grimy outdoor breezeways andtrash that sat for at least two days. I also put out my sign for housekeeping three times and it went unnoticed.

Location is good though slightly out of the way.

This property has sooo much potential and it was really disappointing to see such a cute accomodation not meet expectations.

The different colors make the hotel look pretty but when you take a closer look, it’s kind of dingy. There was hairs on our bathroom floor and on the toilet, our AC unit was leaking water onto the floor and onto the bed so we had to change rooms in the wee hours of the morning. The website did it include that there is a drag show so it’s not a very kid friendly hotel. While trying to have breakfast in the restaurant on property next-door was the drag show going on and it was so loud that you couldn’t even sit and talk with your family..

Room was outdated and needed lots of maintenance. The window curtains had smudges and the room smelled old and stuffy. The staff was ok. The outdoor pool did not seem the cleanest and needed some upkeep and renovating. Dining at the in-house restaurant was OK but not great. Stayed there about 8 to 9 years ago and it was much better. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

We had a fantastic 6 night stay at The Saguaro over a festival weekend.The staff—from the front desk to the bar and housekeeping—were consistently amazing, friendly, and helpful. The pool area was a definite highlight, and we thoroughly enjoyed the on-site dining. The rooms are a generous size and easily accommodated our group of three adults without feeling cramped. Highly recommend for a fun Palm Springs getaway!

A fun upscale motel in Barbie colors. The Drag brunch seems overpriced but we didn’t try it since we’ve been to plenty of shows and went for brunch elsewhere. Nice pools and lounging areas but the 2 hot tubs were crowded in January, of course!

Super fun place to stay! We were here for Stagecoach it was close to the airport and uber to shuttles was close as well. Pool and DJ’s were a blast!! Best part was coffee and slow pool mornings. Restaurant was awesome too! Great food! I would stay here again, it was clean and nice. A bit older with that 70’s vibe

If you’re in your 20s and want a party hotel, this is the place for you. If not I’d look elsewhere. Garbage in hallways, dirty carpet and an odd smell of perfume constantly. The staff were nice and there is lots of entertainment but very much a party hotel. Pool not cleaned or tidied regularly- garbage floating in the pool at end of day.

Pros: Large room was very clean when we arrived; delicious breakfast; bikes; mist machines at the pool; excellent margaritas. Cons: Lumpy uncomfortable beds; thin walls; dirty A/C and bathroom fans; pool water, pool deck and loungers not clean; gross smell in hallways; understaffed restaurant. Overall this is an aging property with bright paint and furnishings to mask its imperfections. The price was fair but we were not very comfortable.

This hotel wasn’t for us. The rooms need to be updated. You can tell they have fixed things here and there but just kind of covered things up. Our air conditioner made a weird noise all night, our safe didn’t work. We booked for 5 people (3 older) kids, and we were expecting a futon but our room didn’t have one. My fault for not checking. I seen futons in the pictures so I assumed. My mistake. The front said they couldn’t give us room with a futon although the place seemed empty, they didn’t seem to care. They gave us 1 blanket instead. Next time I will be more careful and call to be sure.
The pool area was decent. Lots of parking. A 8 minute drive to the night market.

We had such a great stay at The Saguaro! They let us check in early at no extra cost and even allowed us to enjoy the pool while our room was being prepared, which was a huge plus. We needed extra robes and they sent them up right away, super quick and easy. The staff was genuinely friendly, the amenities were great, and the pool and hot tubs were spotless with plenty of loungers available.

My kids especially loved the bright, colorful vibe of the hotel, and they were so excited that they each got a big, comfy robe to wear to the pool. It made it feel extra special for them. Overall, such a smooth and fun experience. We will definitely come back.
