Super cute hotel with a fun, art deco vibe. Staff was lovely. On-site restaurant was good, the pool area was massive & very nice. My main concern was the bathroom for the hotel rooms are subpar at best. Floor tile & shower surround is in a huge need of a makeover. Property condition & cleanliness could be better in the common areas.

Rude staff. We were among several guests waiting to check in. Waited 3 hours. Pool had white chunks and food floating. Told staff but they were apathetic. My wife had to grab the pool skimmer herself and try to clean it. Water was still foggy. It grossed a lot of guests out. Trash cans were over flowing with trash. The wouldn’t refill even the water outside when it was over 100. There were cans all over the grounds that over three days were never picked up. We will NEVER return to this hotel.

So much potential but it’s super outdated. I loved the fun colors but everything seemed old. The hallways were giving motel vibes kinda sketchy. The rooms were decent cute aesthetics but could be so much better like this hotel can be so great with renovations. Food at the restaurant downstairs was not the best their had the tacos

This hotel is overdue for a rehab. The carpets are worn and dirty, the walls need to be painted and it's just generally in a shabby state. Also, there was trash left in the hallways all day. I'm not sure why housekeeping couldn't dispose of it sooner. And for 24 hours there was a used Q-tip in the hallway outside of my room. Aside from all of that, the most annoying thing about this hotel was the key cards. In a one day period, I had to go to the lobby three different times to have my key card reset because it wouldn't work. If these cards are so sensitive, get a new system. My room was arguably about as far away from the lobby as any in the building and I would have to walk all the way around the building to get to the lobby. This was a hassle and made my stay very frustrating and unenjoyable. I will not return.

The hotel was like spring break central, not the vibe we were going for with our 14 and 10 year old. The room was nice and big and the balcony was cool, but definitely a party hotel, not a place to chill quietly and read by the pool while kids play. We didn’t even recognize one song that they played LOUDLY all afternoon and were pretty well-versed on our genres. Overall, wasn’t terrible but we wouldn’t stay here again. Good location in Palm Springs, if you’re young and hip and looking to party.

Hotel is in bad shape with deferred maintenance evident everywhere. Carpets old , shower and bath faucet barely hanging, hotel does nothing for your dogs, soundproofing non existent, the air conditioning unit in patio sounds like car starting when turns on, and the loud music played continuously is annoying at best, DJ very loud music right outside my room on weekends…

The property could use some updating like repainting around the grounds and reflooring in the room bathrooms. But overall the service was great and the restaurant food and drinks were delicious. I had a wonderful massage too. It was definitely a hotel for a bit younger crowd and not what I consider low key for over 50 people. We didn’t mind too much. Just be prepared for loud music at the pool bumping through your room. If you don’t like the pool party vibe go to the pool before noon and after 5pm. And bring ear plugs for your afternoon nap.

Although we only stayed for one night, we found the Saguaro quite nice. The lobby was bright, the front desk staff was friendly, and the room was clean. We'd like to stay longer next time so we can use the pool and the other amenities. Our rate also included breakfast which was quite good. Friendly restaurant staff as well.

Weekend pool parties so the DJs are playing. If you’re going to spend time in your room for any reason you will hear the bass, but not the treble. Be cool if the rooms were wired so you listen to more than the throb of the bass when the DJs are at the pool.

Toilet wouldn't fully flush on its own, I needed to help it out by using the trash can filled with water to dump it while it’s flushing for water to go down. Automatic lights in entry and bathroom kept turning on and off all night. This was a terrible idea folks. We thankfully only stayed one night and didn't find out of all these issues until we were in for the night so I didn't tell them until the next morning at check out. Front desk said he would refund the resort fee which was nice. I hope they remove those stupid automatic lights.

So this place has a lot of potential without a lot of work. I think they are severely under staffed. We stayed a week and never got our room cleaned once even though we asked for it once only. The hallways and general areas are dirty. Getting a drink at the pool bar is a 30 min wait. Maybe a little planning or more staff would elevate this issues.

The hotel, overall, was bright and fun. The atmosphere was great, and it was easy to navigate from my room to the main entrance for pickups and dropoffs. The room wasn’t exactly what I imagined it to be like from the pictures I saw online. I believe they also gave me a ADA type room, which was fine, but just felt a bit awkward to use as everything was on a shorter level than I was used to. Our light’s motio n sensor above the sink also went crazy at one point, flickering nonstop and making a strange noise, but they were able to send a maintenance person right away to fix it. I wish the room was better, but it was decent overall.

This place is a total catfish! The photo and reviews are not accurate. The photos online have to be 5 year old, there is so much deferred maintenance that’s it’s actually gross. They gave that place the land lord special and just painted over everything. The tiles on the floor and shower walls are literally painted over. The carpets need to be replaced they stink and hold musty dusty odors. The towels are so old and crunchy especially the yellow pool towels they have not been replaced ever. They were so old and see through from years of use and washing. There is no room service. We woke up every day with a text saying no room service today and to cal the front desk, guess what they won’t answer. The front desk lady was rude. I tried calling no answer when I walked up i asked for late checkout and she said absolutely not, she didn’t even let me finish my sentence I had to repeat myself and ask for late check out for two days later as we had a late lunch reservation. The day beds at the pool are ooooolllldddd and rusty like really bad. The trash cans are all rusty too. They will charge you a lot or Otherwise they make you use dirty dingy yellow lounge chairs that are honestly filthy. I met several influencers at the pool and they all agreed this place is old and gross and they all got rooms for favorable reviews. Don’t believe any of the other reviews Theyre skewed.

There wasn't much help around the hotel. The room and bathroom was pretty dirty. The pool, had no towels, but wet towels all over the lounge chairs. The restaurant on site was just ok, probably better off picking up something in town. Was disappointing, this used to be our favorite place to come to. Was excited to come back again.

This place might be nostalgic, or iconic for the colors, but it deserves a 2 or 3 stars max. It’s a colorful Motel 6. Be advised.

We had the best time at the Saguaro. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful. Our room was great! The pool was great! The restaurant El Jefe had delicious food and cocktails. And the servers and bartenders were all so nice. Definitely don’t miss the Drag Queen brunch, it was FREAKING FANTASTIC!!!! We will definitely stay here again

We were in a poolside room and did notice that there are no room numbers on the pool side of the room. I went to the pool and hadn't paid attention to the colors of our patio. My husband was napping and didn't hear my text asking him to come to the door so I wasn't trying to get into someone else's room. Adding room numbers on the pool side would be a good move.

Upon check in it was discovered that they had given our room to someone else. Someone with the same first name and last initial. We both "pre" checked in. There was no apology, only a , well I can give you this other room (that is not the same that you reserved). I told her that, unfortunately, that would not suffice and she need to rectify the situation. She gave us a room and never apologized or empathize. Literally acted like I was a burden. She also decided not to give us our breakfast vouchers, so we had to track those down the next morning. The front desk again seemed annoyed with us and was on her personal phone. She did put it down once to begrudgingly hand over some vouchers.

Staff is so bad , the facility is so bad in the room . The toilet is not sturdy, it needs to fix , the room is not clean . The manager of the front desk Chris doesn’t know what he is doing . Very bad attitude, when I made a complaint with the room service , he said , because the people were checking out a lot , so the room service was not doing well . What a ridiculous excuse! There was clear hair on the walls of shower, actual dirty boot prints on floor of bathroom, the bed was made but still felt dirty, overall dirty feel in the room. The front desk staff was friendly at check in. We were thinking we were just going to pack up and go because we really don't love complaining but just toughed it out and left first thing in the morning. I did see some people mentioned it had been really run down but figured this is one of the most well known PS hotels so figured it would have been fine. Disappointed.

Always love staying at The Saguaro! Clean rooms, helpful staff, and LOVE the pool! The yard games and hammocks are always a good time. Plus the restaurant and bar are spot on.

It's cute from the outside and there was plenty of parking but the rooms definitely need a remodel. Our room was very spacious but a couple of the table tops were stained, lighting was lacking and there weren't enough outlets. We got a good deal on the room so I hesitate to complain too much. They gave us vouchers for a free breakfast for each day of our stay which made up for the extra resort fees that they charge.

This hotel was nice 10 years ago when I first stayed there. I went back three years ago, and today it’s clear that no effort has been made to refresh or maintain it. It has aged poorly, and many things are no longer in good condition: the room curtains are torn and stained, the bathtub faucet is about to fall off, the bathroom door no longer closes, and there is a leak in the staircase leading up to the room when it rains. It’s a shame, because it used to be a cool hotel. Now there are many other alternatives of much better quality for the same budget.

We stayed here after our flight was cancelled. Good rate. We really liked the concept of the early check in but couldn’t get it due to capacity. Appreciated the late check out. Common areas could be updated and cleaned. Our ac didn’t work but maintenance was prompt and fixed it right away! Restaurant staff was somewhat friendly but seemed scattered. Front desk staff was kind and helpful. Keys demagnetizing easily was frustrating but staff was helpful. We enjoyed the pool area and attended a drag show which was great, however we experienced frustration along with others guest because there were no pool towels available. Other guests offered us towels. Minibar and complimentary breakfast were good perks. After all said and done I would still stay here again.

Booked a room for an employee. He told me when he checked in that the hallways smelled like piss and he didn’t want to stay there. The manager was very nice and refunded the second night and I moved my employee to the Hilton

Wow, and not in a good way. Our stay was absolutely horrible. Mold in the bathroom, AC going out and making a horrendous noise, and a smell in the room that was just completely disgusting. I’ve stayed here many, many times, and this was for sure my last. I will never stay there again. Ever.

Room is big, cleanliness is just fair. Color scheme is happy as we all know, but the hotel is a little dated. the AC or heat is working, but… it is loud and go in and our every other 5 mins. If you are a light sleeper, good luck 😜

This was a very nice property. Staff was very friendly and check-in was easy. The property was very fun and decorated in a resort-like fashion. We had a room with a view to the pool and the mountains. Palm trees were everywhere so it felt like a resort. They had a disco party in the evening and an in-house restaurant. I received text updates inviting me to the party which I thought was a nice touch. The property is very well located as well and was a good value.

The front desk was in an otherwise stark room with concrete floors. The carpets in the hallways and our room were very old. We liked the multi-colored theme, but it looked like the walls needed another coat of paint. The pool area was nice, but I would not go back.

I had heard good things about the Saguaro Hotel and I had eaten at El Jefe restaurant before and really liked it. But I didn't enjoy the hotel overnight experience or my room.
