If you’re in your 20s and want a party hotel, this is the place for you. If not I’d look elsewhere. Garbage in hallways, dirty carpet and an odd smell of perfume constantly. The staff were nice and there is lots of entertainment but very much a party hotel. Pool not cleaned or tidied regularly- garbage floating in the pool at end of day.

Pros: Large room was very clean when we arrived; delicious breakfast; bikes; mist machines at the pool; excellent margaritas. Cons: Lumpy uncomfortable beds; thin walls; dirty A/C and bathroom fans; pool water, pool deck and loungers not clean; gross smell in hallways; understaffed restaurant. Overall this is an aging property with bright paint and furnishings to mask its imperfections. The price was fair but we were not very comfortable.

This hotel wasn’t for us. The rooms need to be updated. You can tell they have fixed things here and there but just kind of covered things up. Our air conditioner made a weird noise all night, our safe didn’t work. We booked for 5 people (3 older) kids, and we were expecting a futon but our room didn’t have one. My fault for not checking. I seen futons in the pictures so I assumed. My mistake. The front said they couldn’t give us room with a futon although the place seemed empty, they didn’t seem to care. They gave us 1 blanket instead. Next time I will be more careful and call to be sure.
The pool area was decent. Lots of parking. A 8 minute drive to the night market.

We did not use amenities because our room alone was is in poor condition, very dusty and dirty furniture. A giant monster moth that owned the place before we got in. There were holes in the blinds from the moth being in there for so long. Overall just a very uncomfortable experience.

We had such a great stay at The Saguaro! They let us check in early at no extra cost and even allowed us to enjoy the pool while our room was being prepared, which was a huge plus. We needed extra robes and they sent them up right away, super quick and easy. The staff was genuinely friendly, the amenities were great, and the pool and hot tubs were spotless with plenty of loungers available.

My kids especially loved the bright, colorful vibe of the hotel, and they were so excited that they each got a big, comfy robe to wear to the pool. It made it feel extra special for them. Overall, such a smooth and fun experience. We will definitely come back.

First the good. Nice staff. My room was clean and had a good bed.
Now the bad (well, terrible). This property is a mess- it's falling apart. People who have reviewed it recently have really understated just how run down and sad this place is. It was totally understaffed during my stay- I felt like there were 4 housekeepers for the entire place. My room was never serviced during the 3 day stay. The halls looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a week. There were dirty room service dishes on the floor of the hallway the entire stay. The pool furniture was rusty and the cabana we rented had stained furniture and tears in the roof. There were no pool towels available more often than not. I saw out of order signs on three ice machines. The gym had no weights under 35 pounds and we were told \"someone stole the dumbbells\". The vibrant exterior paint was faded and dull, the interior paint was scuffed and the walls looked dirty. I stayed here years ago and it was a bummer to see it like this. The saving grace was my room was clean and the staff were pleasant even though wait times to get drinks or food were very long. The place is cheap, so there is that, I suppose, but I would never pay for the Saturday room rates at a place in this condition (we stayed Sunday- Wednesday) It just really needs to be closed for a complete overhaul. They did comp the resort fees when I talked to the very sweet man at the front desk when checking out (again, great staff) so that helped. Truth telling.

Th hotel has a nice vibe but it’s definitely run down. The pool overlooks the mountains and is large and the whole style of fun and playful. The loungers are dirty and old and there weren’t enough towels when we were there so we had to sit right on them. There also weren’t enough umbrellas so it was super hot in the suns th rooms are spacious and clean but dated and run down. El Jefe was an excellent meal and the service was good. The hotel could be really awesome but it needs a pretty big reno to bring it back to life. But, for the price is was fine and about what i expected.

Heres the thing...we love The Saguaro for the vibes but the property could definitely use a fresh coat of paint. And the carpet in the rooms needs some serious love. Ive always felt like The Saguaro just doesn't care much about anything but the pool area. My daughter and I had an ok stay but lots of issues about housekeeping, clogged plumbing in our room etc. We addressed the issued with management but being 100% transparent they didn’t even get back to us until after we left the property. Management communicated that they were short staffed and that contributes to some of the issues but knowing that it was Spring Break time I dont fully understand how they weren't prepared. In a nutshell we enjoyed our stay because my daughter and I make sure we have a good time everywhere we go but I really hope they step up their game. The complimentary bicycles were great the restaurant is delicious and pool vibes are vibing but truth be told they absolutely must step their game up.

My main concern was the bathroom for the hotel rooms are subpar at best. Floor tile & shower surround is in a huge need of a makeover. Rude staff. We were among several guests waiting to check in. Waited 3 hours. Pool had white chunks and food floating. Told staff but they were apathetic. My wife had to grab the pool skimmer herself and try to clean it. Water was still foggy. It grossed a lot of guests out. Trash cans were over flowing with trash. The wouldn’t refill even the water outside when it was over 100. There were cans all over the grounds that over three days were never picked up. We will NEVER return to this hotel.

This hotel is overdue for a rehab. The carpets are worn and dirty, the walls need to be painted and it's just generally in a shabby state. Also, there was trash left in the hallways all day. I'm not sure why housekeeping couldn't dispose of it sooner. And for 24 hours there was a used Q-tip in the hallway outside of my room. Aside from all of that, the most annoying thing about this hotel was the key cards. In a one day period, I had to go to the lobby three different times to have my key card reset because it wouldn't work. If these cards are so sensitive, get a new system. My room was arguably about as far away from the lobby as any in the building and I would have to walk all the way around the building to get to the lobby. This was a hassle and made my stay very frustrating and unenjoyable. I will not return.

The hotel was like spring break central, not the vibe we were going for with our 14 and 10 year old. The room was nice and big and the balcony was cool, but definitely a party hotel, not a place to chill quietly and read by the pool while kids play. We didn’t even recognize one song that they played LOUDLY all afternoon and were pretty well-versed on our genres. Overall, wasn’t terrible but we wouldn’t stay here again. Good location in Palm Springs, if you’re young and hip and looking to party.

The property could use some updating like repainting around the grounds and reflooring in the room bathrooms. But overall the service was great and the restaurant food and drinks were delicious. I had a wonderful massage too. It was definitely a hotel for a bit younger crowd and not what I consider low key for over 50 people. We didn’t mind too much. Just be prepared for loud music at the pool bumping through your room. If you don’t like the pool party vibe go to the pool before noon and after 5pm. And bring ear plugs for your afternoon nap.

Weekend pool parties so the DJs are playing. If you’re going to spend time in your room for any reason you will hear the bass, but not the treble. Be cool if the rooms were wired so you listen to more than the throb of the bass when the DJs are at the pool.

Toilet wouldn't fully flush on its own, I needed to help it out by using the trash can filled with water to dump it while it’s flushing for water to go down. Automatic lights in entry and bathroom kept turning on and off all night. This was a terrible idea folks. We thankfully only stayed one night and didn't find out of all these issues until we were in for the night so I didn't tell them until the next morning at check out. Front desk said he would refund the resort fee which was nice. I hope they remove those stupid automatic lights.

The hotel, overall, was bright and fun. The atmosphere was great, and it was easy to navigate from my room to the main entrance for pickups and dropoffs. The room wasn’t exactly what I imagined it to be like from the pictures I saw online. I believe they also gave me a ADA type room, which was fine, but just felt a bit awkward to use as everything was on a shorter level than I was used to. Our light’s motio n sensor above the sink also went crazy at one point, flickering nonstop and making a strange noise, but they were able to send a maintenance person right away to fix it. I wish the room was better, but it was decent overall.

This place is a total catfish! The photo and reviews are not accurate. The photos online have to be 5 year old, there is so much deferred maintenance that’s it’s actually gross. They gave that place the land lord special and just painted over everything. The tiles on the floor and shower walls are literally painted over. The carpets need to be replaced they stink and hold musty dusty odors. The towels are so old and crunchy especially the yellow pool towels they have not been replaced ever. They were so old and see through from years of use and washing. There is no room service. We woke up every day with a text saying no room service today and to cal the front desk, guess what they won’t answer. The front desk lady was rude. I tried calling no answer when I walked up i asked for late checkout and she said absolutely not, she didn’t even let me finish my sentence I had to repeat myself and ask for late check out for two days later as we had a late lunch reservation. The day beds at the pool are ooooolllldddd and rusty like really bad. The trash cans are all rusty too. They will charge you a lot or Otherwise they make you use dirty dingy yellow lounge chairs that are honestly filthy. I met several influencers at the pool and they all agreed this place is old and gross and they all got rooms for favorable reviews. Don’t believe any of the other reviews Theyre skewed.

There wasn't much help around the hotel. The room and bathroom was pretty dirty. The pool, had no towels, but wet towels all over the lounge chairs. The restaurant on site was just ok, probably better off picking up something in town. Was disappointing, this used to be our favorite place to come to. Was excited to come back again.

In their bar, slow service, multiple messed up orders.

Text message on a Saturday informing us that there would be no room service. At $500 a night just unacceptable.

This place might be nostalgic, or iconic for the colors, but it deserves a 2 or 3 stars max. It’s a colorful Motel 6. Be advised.

And the servers and bartenders were all so nice. Definitely don’t miss the Drag Queen brunch, it was FREAKING FANTASTIC!!!! We will definitely stay here again

We enjoyed our stay. The Saguaro is a fun place to stay.

We were in a poolside room and did notice that there are no room numbers on the pool side of the room. I went to the pool and hadn't paid attention to the colors of our patio. My husband was napping and didn't hear my text asking him to come to the door so I wasn't trying to get into someone else's room. Adding room numbers on the pool side would be a good move.

The location is great and the views from the pool are beautiful.

It also smelled like an old folks home, maybe theyre spraying disThe rooms were noisy and it was hard to ignore the sounds of people talking or snoring coming from other guest rooms. Upon check in it was discovered that they had given our room to someone else. Someone with the same first name and last initial. We both \"pre\" checked in. There was no apology, only a , well I can give you this other room (that is not the same that you reserved). I told her that, unfortunately, that would not suffice and she need to rectify the situation. She gave us a room and never apologized or empathize. Literally acted like I was a burden. She also decided not to give us our breakfast vouchers, so we had to track those down the next morning. The front desk again seemed annoyed with us and was on her personal phone. She did put it down once to begrudgingly hand over some vouchers.

The rooms are very \"lipstick on a pig\" which I hate to say. The paint is chipping, the carpet is pulling and the tubs are kinda gross.

The grounds are cool, I guess. Pretty sure there are just as cool places in the area without all the poor service and room quality.

WE come to PS every year. I'm confident to say we will never stay here agian.
