The location of the hostel is great, and the price is good. It was clean and fine, but the room is small. The beds are pretty flimsy, and there was only one outlet in the entire room, including the bathroom. So there’s no individual outlets near the beds or lights or anything. It is very basic.

Sadly this Hostel is the worst one I have ever stayed at. The staff were incompetent and I was charged a deposit for no reason which Hotels.com told me I had to pay which I didn’t. I had to remind the manager to pay this back as he “forgot”. Black mould in bathrooms and the bunks were horrendous to sleep on and even worst to climb to top bunk. This place is in a rough area and I would not go out at night there. Basically a shocking experience and I have stayed in over 40 hostels world wide.

The Staff is very welcoming and helps with any problem that you may have, the view of the sacré coeur is magnificent. and the locations nearby are all worth exploring, la cigale, moulin rouge, as well as the catacombs and Eiffel Tower just a 3 mile walk away. All in all if your looking for something cheap and next to major locations I would 100% choose le régente, Thank you for the memories le régente <3

Fantastic location for Montmartre and Sacre Coeur, not far from Gare du Nord and Metro is outside. Also great little places to explore in the area, highly recommend google mapping the following: Mamiche and Café Marlette - Pigalle for lovely food and pasteries! Warning: Paris is loud on an evening and can be very warm without aircon but fan was provided 🙂

Location is perfect as it was near a metro station. The room is clean and so are the linen. Could be improved with a cabinet for storage though. Affordable and cheerful, simple but nice, a convenient option for fast travellers who just need a bed to rest and keep going. A bit annoying that I booked an individual room (instead of a shared one) and had to still share toilet and shower separately.. it was not clear at the time of booking. Was not stated in the Expedia booking either, so had to put up with that. So if you're booking here mind that can be your case too.. on the other hand really well placed right outside Anvers tube and 8 minutes away from Gard du Nord. So very convenient connection wise.

It's hard to be upset with the price and location. There are so many young people who don't know how to respect each other and move with quietness. I didn't sleep at all in a room with 14 other people. Lights were terrible, no curtain for the top bunk. It was terrible but finally passed out the second night from exhaustion. I understand it's cheap and clean though so if you are a hard sleeper it's probably perfect. I wish that they would have at least a curtain or something for the lights. I even had an eye mask and 2 earplugs. Inside the ear and over the ear but one snorer can shake the whole bed. I obviously need a hotel and not a hostel so hard to blame the hostel for this.

Positives: the staff - though not necessarily warm - are very comprehensive and helpful, and speak excellent english. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom and the room was very clean and pleasantly decorated. And the location is great, walking distance to transport and Pigalle nightlife, yet felt safe.
Negatives: the shared toilet was not conveniently located, walking downstairs to a different level isn't pleasant. The hostel is very busy and the noise at night (even on a sunday) made it hard to get much sleep. Notably the sound of the elevator seemed to be constant!

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They let me store my lugagge before my room was ready so I could go explore. Hotel is steps away from the metro and about a 5-10 min walk to Sacre Coeur. My room had a wonderful view of Sacre Coeur. The room comes with its own bathtub, pillows, linens, and towels. The patio area outside was very nice in the evenings. The breakfast could be improved, as it is only croissants, butter/jams, orange juice and coffee. Overall, a great stay at an affordable price.

The shared shower and toilet was located on the 4th floor. The shower was a small room with nothing and the drain was blocked so you basically had to hurry and shower as not to let the water overflow. The toilet were never clean, absolutely disgusting, also in a very small room. Neither had a sink to wash your hands. So I had to go back upstairs to wash my hands.

Excellent I would stay again. It's a reasonable price for staying in a clean basic hotel / hostel. It's a couple of mins walk from sacre Coeur and the station. All amenities in walking distance.
Staff were great, there is a small kitchen if you want to heat food up, baggage room. Our double room was a reasonable size with shower room and street view. Quiet at night and you can open the windows for air.

I stayed in a 6 bed dorm and it was pleasant, the only downside was the tiny bathroom it was so small I could barely stand in there or sit on the toilet, and I’m rather petite!!

For the rest, it a nice place close to metro stations and easy to move around. It is also one of the highlights of Paris, Sacre Coeur and our room have a nice view of it from our window...so we had Paris in our pocket.😁

I absolutely love this hostel! I stayed in a 4-female room with a private bathroom. The room was spacious, had plenty of outlets, a desk, and the shower was great. The bathroom also had a hair dryer. It's affordable, in the best location, and clean! Highly recommend!

The hostel/hotel was okay. Not bad, but not a place I would revisit either. The bedroom itself was clean enough and the bed was comfortable.
However, we weren’t able to check in until 2 hours after the scheduled check in time. We just left our bags in their storage room and explored the city, but if we had been arriving after a long flight that definitely would have bothered me. Also the bedroom walls are the thinnest I’ve ever been in for sure. I’m from Los Angeles so noise at night doesn’t bother me. In fact I have a more difficult time sleeping when it’s TOO quiet! But anytime someone would be walking through the halls at night I could hear EVERYTHING. I could even hear the sound of a couple making out at 3am Lmao. Anyways, it was okay. Obviously it’s a cheap accommodation option in Paris so I knew what I was signing up for.

We had an amazing view of Sacre Coeur from our bedroom. Great location. Family room has great layout for a family of 4 and the whole building feels modern and freshly decorated.

The kitchen is too small and poorly stocked with utensils, pans, etc which made it hard to carry through plans of cooking our own meal.

The hotel room was a nice size and clean. Ours also had a small balcony, which was nice during the warm weather. It is more than you expect for a co-share/hostel type of environment.

The staff were pleasant enough - the two who checked us in spoke between themselves for a minute or so before addressing us which was a bit odd, but they may have been in the middle of something.

The hotel is a little bit noisy - every morning at around 6.30am/7.00am we were woken by a really loud banging noise - whether this was another room slamming their door closed or a downstairs door, not sure, but if you are a light sleeper keep in mind this is a hostel/hotel so there are a lot of guests.

The area itself is interesting, with a melting pot of characters around (this is the old red light district, so if you are easily offended by sex shops etc, keep that in mind).

The hotel was right in front of a metro station, which was so handy! It is also a 2 min walk to Sacre Coeur, and the lovely area around there, so that was great. Moulin Rouge is also within walking distance.

If you want to be close to say the Eiffel Tower, this is not the area for you, as it is about a 30min train ride. On the flip side, that is what we liked as there were no where near as many tourists in this area. There are also some really cool bars and restaurants around.

Overall, great value for money in Paris.

Location is perfect, just acorss from the Anversmetro stop and far enough away from the busy nightlife that it is lostly quiet. Walk across the street and you're at the bottom of the Sacré-Cœur. Public, shared facilities are great; the room we stayed in was worn - dirty carpet, stained beds, mouldy bathroom. Staff was nice, breakfast overpriced.

The receptionists were SUPER friendly! The rooms are quite small, which is expected, but the beds are big, the bathrooms are very clean, and the condition of the room in general is better than the 4-star hotels we've stayed at prior to this hotel. And I love that we have a balcony!! :)

The area is far from most of the popular spots but Sacre-Coeur is kind of across the street (up the hill, but you can take the Funicular also) and there are a LOT of souvenir shops nearby. The best part of staying here is the available Asian cuisines around the area. And they're more affordable than other restaurants we've been to.

I booked two rooms with two beds. However, upon arrival one of the rooms only had one large bed in it. After explaining the situation to the staff, we ended up having to get sheets and make the bed ourselves. Room sizes are pretty small, but the beds were comfortable. I've stayed in a private facility in the Regent Montmartre Hostel. I chose a superior room hoping it will have a view at Sacre Coeur but unfortunately only one of them provides that view and mine wasn't that one; it had a small balcony however that looked at a nice Parisian street. Everything was very clean and tastefully decorated. There was no mini-fridge and no A/C. Didn't try the 6€ breakfast, I decided to buy some things from a local super-market and enjoy them on the balcony of my room.

Nice place in a central location. Greeted by wonderful staff and the building had a lovely welcoming feeling. I only stayed two nights and would stay here again for longer. I was unfortunately next to the lift so it got loud at times. We stayed here twice in one trip. The first time, we had the top floor overlooking Sacré-Coeur - this room was beautiful and we loved it. Unfortunately, we did get bed bugs but that’s always a risk in any hostel.
The second time, we had a room on the 2nd floor, which was also nice but the shower was terrible and the room was super hot but we couldn’t have the window open much because of noise outside. The lifts were broken more often than not, so we chose not to use them.
Apart from that, the location is superb and I would stay here again.

If they do have those rooms at this hotel there are very few of them and the ones you get are of much lower quality. The location of the hotel was good though. Very close to a metro station.

Overall, it was a good hostel but like other reviews, the shower has a bit of mold and it’s a tight space. Single showers and single toilets are on alternating floors sort of. Being right by Montmartre was great for me personally. I checked out the other Paris monuments but Sacre Cour was my favorite.

I had previously stayed a few times when this hostel had previously been a very nice hotel. Now very different, as a hostel it was very different but it works well. Staff are pleasant, helpful and efficient.. Breakfast is extra, continental but very fresh and in a pleasant seating area. Self catering also available. Hotel very clean. The bedroom with 4 beds was a reasonable size and with ensuite. Space for luggage was very restricted. There were lockers, but quite small., but there was a desk and chairs which was a nice touch. Wifi worked in main reception area. The location is close to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre, where there are some nice restaurants, but not much around the hotel, but there are two handy metro stops very close by and Gare du Nord is also walkable, but not wtih heavy luggage. I liked the hostel and would book again

This is a reasonably priced and conveniently located hostel, however the bathroom was most often flooded (possibly because the other people sharing it didn't know how to use the shower curtain, but that indicates a design flaw) which made it quite uncomfortable to use. Also there's a lack of power sockets in the upper bunk-beds to charge one's phone. Probably will try another one next time.

Everything was great - I didn't have plans to be in my hotel a lot so this was the perfect place to have as a \"home base\". Near two trains so it was easy to get everywhere. The wifi was a little spotty and the noise level was quite loud (inside the building) with work starting early and people being loud outside the room but for the price you can't really complain!

Hotel staff were helpful, welcoming and friendly- able to answer all the questions we had and store our luggage until check in time and after we checked out on day of departure.
Our double room was very clean and the room was made up and towels changed daily.
The Metro station Anvers (nearest to Sacre Couer) is so close to the hotel which makes it quick and easy to access everywhere in Paris.
Only downsides were that it was fairly noisy, and there was a window in the bathroom. Other than that it was lovely and we would like to return.

Great budget option at a good location

Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Room was clean and there was a bathroom attached to the room.
Location is great, right next to the subway station.

Nice Hostel near Montmatre

The Hostel is situated few minutes by walk from the Sacre Coeur. It's clean and organised, I was staying in one of the 6 bedroom room. The staff was really helpful and on my last day, they let me put my guitar in a storage room so I could go and visit Paris without carrying it.

Good hostel , easy access to public transportation

This hostel place is clean. The room layout is ok. I dislike bunk bed because poorly design with ladder. Otherwise,I slept comfortable. The bathroom is small. Quick walk to metro. Very close to sacre cœur.
