From the minute we arrived, the staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to store our bags and check in a few hours early. The room was gorgeous and had a mini bar in the room with plenty of options for tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean with all amenities of soap, shampoo, heated towels,bathrobe and slippers. Within a 5 min walk from the subway station. And right on the water. Beautiful views. The hotel also has a work out fitness room and an outdoor pool and spa. They have a sister hotel across the road you can also utilize. Staff will give you a city pass for free transportation. HIGHLY recommend and would stay here again.

The room we stayed in was impeccably clean. It was well designed and was very well appointed. My only complaint would be that we were staying on the top floor and the room had low ceilings so there were many times that my husband (who is 6 feet tall) hit his head.
My other complaint is that the parking garage was a bit inconvenient. There was a stairwell leading to the main property but there was water accumulating at the exit of the garage so we had to navigate not falling into a puddle and carrying our bags up the stairs.
The pool was nice. The restaurant was delicious and had excellent service despite being understaffed. The location of the hotel was excellent being right by the waterfront. We were very close to the boat launch—which was lovely. The Hotel staff was very friendly and kind.

Beautiful historic hotel. Very comfortable and the receptionist was so helpful. The hotel is a series of four buildings. The upper building where I was is up a series of outside steps. When booking, you may want to request the lower building. The room was larger than you would expect of an older building.

This property was so lovely, and we would stay there again. We booked through Expedia, so I don't think we had the option to add breakfast, but I would include that if we go back. It's very close to the lake, and there's a little Coop grocery store close by in case you need drinks and snacks. Highly recommend this hotel!

I had an executive room with lake view which was well attired, comfy and spacious and overall delivered a feeling of luxury. The staff from check-in and housekeeping were extremely proficient and friendly, with any request sorted straight away. I enjoyed a quick swim in the pool which was great. The view was lovely and I was just a little unfortunate as the weather turned rainy that evening.

My husband and I just recently traveled from the US to Switzerland for a business trip/vacation. This hotel met every single one of my expectations and more. They offer countless amenities, the view is incredible, it’s only a five-minute walk to the Metro station, and the customer service is phenomenal. One personal detail is that I asked for an extra mug and spoon on one of the days of our stay (which they brought to my room immediately). Housekeeping must have noticed that I had an extra and they made sure that I had three mugs and spoons instead of two after they tidied up the room. It’s small things like this that keep me coming back because it shows that people care. Please stay here when you visit Lausanne. You won’t regret it. We didn’t want to leave!!!

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. The service was great from the start with everyone we came in contact with. The room was first class and a great place to relax and rejuvenate. Location, location, location as well, right on Lake Geneva. The tram from train station will lead you straight to the edge of the property. Couldn't be more pleased!!

After a bad start we enjoyed our stay. The room they gave us to start with, the air condition wasn’t working and they couldn’t fix it but the grumpy women at the front desk refused to move us. Eventually after 2 hours we did get moved. Everything else was lovely.

The hotel is in a wonderful location and quite comfortable. Our only complaint is that the receptionist asked if we needed help with out bags, but did not tell us that there was no elevator to our room. We said no, and after we left the lobby building we discovered that it was necessary to climb 30 steps to reach our room. We are both in our 70s and had to struggle to carry our suitcases up those steps!

One room was fine, the other room the air conditioning did NOT work well enough to keep the room cool as the room got a lot of afternoon sun (Maintenance said it worked fine), but still 80 degrees in the room. The windows only had sheer curtains so could not close them to keep out sun. The facility did NOT have fans. The room was near an alley that cars and workers frequented starting at 6 am. Which were heard due to open windows because VERY hot. Also no blackout curtains. Honestly if was had slept better, would have loved the property.

Very nice hotel and sister property to the Beau Rivage Palace next door. The pool is beautiful and has all day sun and the rooms are modern and comfortable in a period, in which Lord Byron wrote the Prisoner of Chillon. Overall an excellent stay, very nice and professional service.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Everything felt like luxury. The service was excellent and the hotel room we had was gorgeous, with a stunning view across Lake Geneva. Two downsides only, but important ones - our shower sprayed water across the bathroom no matter what we did. We complained after the first day, but nothing was done, so the shower experience wasn't great. And the advertised 'spa' in the sister hotel was a tiny, 2 person sauna and steam room. Nice as an added extra, but not exactly a spa. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay.

We had a lake view room but we were in a building at the back which was like an apartment block. no bar or restaurant .
We upgraded to a suite due to our first room being tiny and the suite looked liked something out of the 70s with yellow stained headboards . Never again.

The rooms with lake view are exceptional. This is a beautiful property, within walking distance to ferry terminal and many restaurants, bakeries and convenience store. The staff were very helpful and nice. Our stay was so perfect that we didn’t want to leave.

Wonderful hotel - our stay couldn’t have been better! Rooms and bathrooms were perfect and spotless. Housekeeping gets a 10!! Property is very charming and right across from water in a beautiful area. Also very close is a small grocery store and cafe for morning cappuccino. Also close to metro station!
