The hotel is conveniently located, close to Anvers and Barbes-Rochechouart subway stations, several bus stops, and relatively short walk from Gare du Nord (and connection to CDG airport).
The room I took was small, but had chair, table, Nespresso coffee machibe, and kettle. Transperent shower, opening directly into the room, was not an issue. There was no fridge, if it matters. I did not really figure out how the conditioner works, so sometimes it was a bit too hot in the room, but manageable.

Location great, easy walk to Sacre Coeur and other Monmatre sites. Room spotless,with lots of space (though tight around toilet). Large modern shower. View of Sacre Coeur from window. Only ad breakfast there once (preferrred local cafes on way to sites), but service was friendly, attentive. Hot food was good, and coffee refills promptly brought to table. front desk helpfjul.

Though I use cane, we were able up the stairs, to Opera, D;Orsay and Louvre,

Two large rooms for four nights (equivalent 8 nights) for under $1000 seemed reasonable -- booked Expedia, refundable if unable to use

Great property with friendly and accommodating staff. The only drawback if you have problems with stairs or are claustrophobic is the very tiny elevator. I chose the stairs every time. Also, if you are sharing a room with someone who you would prefer to not see you nude, then find a different room or hotel. While the W/C is private, the shower was not. I would recommend.

Terrible apathetic customer serbice

I booked my trip Wednesday night and due to an error (on Google it showed the correct date but when jumping to Hotels.com it switched date to the only available) it turned out to be the wrong date.

I immediately called late at night and filed a refund or change of date claim minutes after booking. The next morning I get a message back that they won’t give me a refund not due to policy but because I did not let them know in “timely manner”. They wouldn’t let me change the date or refund any amount.

Absolutely astonished by their lack of empathy on both the phone and email.

The bed sheets were dirty before I got there and they were never changed. There was no body soap and even after I asked for it, it was never replenished. The staircase made so much noise that it woke us up every time people used it.

Great location. Room was a decent size but the bathroom was the smallest ever! If you are tall you won't fit in the toilet area. There was a lot of street noise. The pillows were way too hard. But luckily we weren't in the room much as we were out exploring the beautiful area! Overall the hotel isn't spectacular but it was a safe, clean, no-frills option for the price.

The hotel was in the middle of refurbishment / redecoration during our stay. The room was small but OK and typical of the townhouse conversions in this area. Strangely the toilet was separate from the shower and washbasin. There was a kettle.

A reliable choice, central location

We stayed for 2 nights at Best Western Hotel Le Montmartre Saint-Pierre.

Overall everything was as can be expected. We had a nice quiet room number 18 facing the inner yard.

The room was small but adequate with a fitted carpet, a small desk, a kettle, some tea, coffee and milk, an open closet with some clothhangers, and an small open cupboard for other belongings. The WC and shower were separate and sink was in the room. There was also a tiny safe, not big enough for a laptop.

The shower room had 1 mini bottle of conditioner, a soap, a body lotion and a hand lotion. The combined shower gel / shampoo was a big bottle bolted to the wall. The toiletries were not replaced the second day. We went to the reception and spoke with Rahman. His English was so and so, but he made up for that by being very helpful. He got two of the products from the storage right away and brought the body lotion a couple of minutes after to our room.

We got mineral water in the room only for the first night. We did not complain about that as there were 2 mini-markets right next door to the hotel. Aldi 1 minute away and Coccinelle 1 minute away, selling Casino own brand products and other brands.

Close to the recepion there is a little area with some tables and chairs to sit down, to make tea / coffee.

This is a reliable low-cost option to stay in a centrally located area of Paris. A suggestion for improvement would be if they had their checkout at noon like most other hotels do.

The staff was friendly, the surrounding area feels unsafe at night time. The only thing that I disliked is that they were going through a remodeling, they were painting the walls, so we needed to be careful when walking through the aisles. Overall the air conditioning worked, the room was small but it was very clean with new and remodel shower

This is walking distance from the Basilica of Sacré Coeur de Montmartre and the Moulin Rouge. There's grocery stores just next door and around the area. Restaurants and subway are conveniently located at a short walking distance.

This was a cute hotel in Montmartre. The room was small but comfortable. It was clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. There were two metro stops close by, the Sacrecour was down the street and there were many eateries near by. Also there was a grocery store next to the hotel which made it easy to grab some snacks for the day. Would recommend!

Great Stay on Hot Days

Great hotel near the metro station. Hotel was clean and equipped with AC for the hot days in Paris, also has an elevator. Staff was super friendly, helpful and greeted us with a free metro ticket. The hotel felt super safe as you need a your room key to get into the hotel after a certain time. Room was small but perfect for 2 adults with two small carry ons and a big bag. Plenty of food options in the area and just a short walk away from Sacre Coeur.
Overall, if you’re looking for a good price that won’t brake the bank - this is a great hotel.

We were given a warm welcome upon arrival, and we’re able to access our room before check in time. Room was cleaned and made up every day of our stay. Our room overlooked private gardens and other buildings and was very quiet. Complimentary coffee and tea available at reception Hotel kept our cases on our departure day so we could enjoy the city.

Montmartre was a beautiful place once upon a time, however, now is such a dirty and unsafe place, the day we were leaving one of he guests got hold up in front of the hotel and was robbed, he was thrown face down to the ground and was hurt very bad, we happened to be downstairs because we were waiting for our taxi and we most to have been there 35 to 40 minutes and the police never came, they didn't pay any mind to wha had happened. I was absolutely surprised by their lack of interest.
the surroundings have many places to dine and cafes but is not safe. I felt freighting all the time when we walked the streets and never went out after 6PM to avoid problems.

BEDBUGS! 5th floor. When we mentioned to front desk personnel, nice at first but later accused us of “extortion” for threatening to reveal this on a review. Mgr offered to refund, but then stopped answering emails and did not follow through. Regardless of what you pay, this isn’t the first review I’ve seen mentioning bedbugs. Wish I had researched further before staying.

Rooms look bigger on website than they are, due to this you still have to live out of a suitcase due to meagre facilities. Clean though and comfortable beds made up daily, no towels one night but immediately dealt with by receptionist. Breakfast is diverse and good. Probably an overnighter, not a weekly stay. Expensive for an average hotel.

Amazing stay in Paris for 5 nights, couldn't fault the hotel. Comfy beds, rooms cleaned to a high standard and the staff are lovely. The rooms are smaller than usual and lift is small but it's what I expected, you are in a city afterall.... The local area is okay with metro links just round the corner also sacre couer and moulin rouge 5-15 mins walk away.. I would definitely stay here again.

I’ve been to Paris several times and never have I gotten amazing service as I did at this hotel. The staff is so sweet. The rooms are big for Parisian rooms and the breakfast is delicious! Subway and train stations are very close. The only thing I would complain about is their wifi connection. Other than that, I would definitely go back especially if I’m travelling with 2 other people since their triple rooms are spacious!

Great Place to Stay! We really lucked out booking this hotel,the rooms are very nicely decorated,we opted for the superior room for a little more and it was worth it.The bathroom was huge and the shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure.Beds were very comfortable and we both slept really well.We were right on the main street and it was very quiet.The staff all spoke English well which was a big help even with my husband's French, they were great about giving us recommendations for restaurants,and with their direction we took the 58 bus to the Les Puces Flea Market,very easy to get there. Sacre Coeur is just blocks away,Pigalle is a short walk. Breakfast was really good and the price is worth it,they have a selection of cereals,breads,even eggs and sausage.Alexandra and Angela were especially helpful. Thank you, we miss you, and Paris. Would stay here again.

I loved the staff.

The staff is great they were so nice and helpful. The only trouble was the size of the room it is a 10x10 barely any room to move luggage around. The location is a little scary at night but it is close to the Sacre-Coeur which is has a very nice view of the city.

Avoid this hotel if possible!

The receptionist was extremely rude! First of all, he insisted that we provide a printed copy of the “voucher”. He insisted that all guests present a printed copy when they check in, and that all hotels in France require this. Total lie! We’ve been touring all around France for about 2 weeks and this was the first time we were asked to present a printed copy of the voucher. He would not accept the email confirmation we got when we booked and paid for our room online. He didn’t even let us use the telephone even though we explained that Hotels.com’s number is toll free. He insisted that it was “expensive”. We asked for the manager and he said there was no manager that day and that he doesn’t know when the manager will be in. It doesn’t make sense that a hotel chain such as this would not have a manager on site during office hours! Hotels.com contacted the third party travel agency and they figured everything out with reception. He came to our room afterwards to say everything’s fine. We sent him an email to say how much he has inconvenienced us and how the whole experience has frustrated us. It appears someone else read the email as every other staff we met for the remainder of our stay was very apologetic. We do not recommend this hotel at all. Out of the hundreds of hotels we’ve booked throughout the years, this is by far the worst and actually the only one where we’ve had such a bad experience. Never ever staying here again and we suggest you avoid this hotel too.

Although hotel itself was ok for the price i paid but its situated in an extremely horrible, dirty and filthy area.

I had my expensive gold chain snatched from the street outside the hotel which literally left me gagging for air and almost collapsed.

As soon as u enter this area, you can tell what im talking about. All i can say is be extra careful!!

We stayed two nights in a superior room. From the floor plan, it looked to be much more sizable than a standard room. It was large, clean and comfortable and having in room coffee was great. The bathroom was a little tight especially the toilet closet. I'm not a large or tall person (5'6\") but I had to sit at an angle otherwise my knees would touch the wall. The internet connection was dependable but the downstairs computer for guest use was not connecting and hotel staff were not helping to troubleshoot.

Review of Best Western Montmartre

These rooms were narrow with a good view of the Basilica of Sacre-Coeur (Montmartre). Be ready for \"sellers\" and \"bargainers\" at the nearby train station. I appreciated mostly the courteous service of the desk workers who were there at the time. Newspapers (International New York Times) and a decent breakfast are available.

Top location and nice hotel.

Great hotel in a great location. Very close to metro, 10 min walk to sacre couer. McDonalds opposite which we got coffee at, a patisserie and a supermarket a few doors down. The room was cosy and the coffee machine was a nice touch although we weren’t given more pods for it. The hotel provided us with a crib for our baby. Only thing is that although the description says premium channels on the tv, there wasn’t one English speaking channel which was a shame when we were confined to the room with a baby in the evening!

Nice hotel, great location

Overall nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Great location <10mins from Gare du Nord (for those arriving by Eurostar) and in the wonderful area of Montmatre.
Only slight gripe is size of rooms - very squashed and small in effort to pack as many rooms as possible into the space. But at least they're nice and clean and beds comfortable.
Overall thus very positive and recommended.

Well located, staff was nice and really wanted to help.

However, the room lock had a problem and i couldn't get into the room more than half the time. Also, confusion with the shuttle service that was called by the hotel caused an extra cost on the day of the departure (cash only, so it's a good thing I had some on me).
