We were a family of seven (including teens and grandparents) and stayed at the two-bedroom suite before our safari. Bidwood Suites was an exceptional accommodation that ticked all the boxes for a perfect stay. The rooms were wonderfully spacious and comfortable, giving us plenty of room to relax and unwind after a busy day. The location was incredibly convenient while also being tucked away in a safe, quiet neighborhood that allowed for peaceful rest without the noise and chaos of the city center. The staff were very courteous and friendly, and the food very healthy and delicious. If you're looking for spacious, well-located accommodation with a safe and serene atmosphere, plus exceptional food service that genuinely caters to your specific dietary needs, Bidwood Suites is highly recommended!

Bidwood Suites was exactly what I needed - a large enough place to relax for a few days, recover, and then prepare for a few days of meetings. Overall, the property is nice, I felt safe and the staff are very friendly. I felt comfortable walking to nearby shopping, an office and coffee shop during the daytime. I would stay here again.

I’ve stayed to ere twice with my dog and my toddler and both times the staff were consistently professional and very courteous, the rooms are great and clean. Great location for business and shopping, but yet peaceful and quiet for rest and relaxation.

Always a great stay. Upfront staff, restaurant staff, and cleaning staff are all 5*. I stay there twice a year for a week or more. Excellent staff, centrally located to downtown - 5 minutes. Always ready to help and accommodate.

Great hotel in a great location.

My wife and I stayed here 3 different times over a 5 1/2 week period. It was our \"home base\" for our trip to three African countries. The room we had was very quiet on an upper floor at the end of the hall. The room was large and very comfortable. The free breakfast is outstanding. A wide variety of food every morning and the chef is very good. The staff is friendly --everyone. We had no negative things to say about this hotel. I highly recommend it and I will always stay there any time I am in Nairobi.

Bidwood Suites; Dream stay in Nairobi Kenya

The Bidwood Suites in Nairobi Kenya was a dream stay for my Wife and I. The rooms were so nice and clean and we had a wonderful view of downtown Nairobi Westlands area with 2 Malls in walking distance. The staff were all exceptional from the front desk staff to the restaurant staff to the cleaning staff of which we have to point out Jesus’s and Nelson who made our stay even better with great service and a very friendly approach. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Nairobi. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with plans to come to Nairobi

Absolutely fabulous hotel

I absolutely cannot fault this hotel at all, staff were super friendly, we were upgraded to business suites and they were absolutely fantastic. The location is fabulous and the breakfast was so plentiful and choice of food was wonderful. The staff in this hotel are just so welcoming and it makes me want to go back there soon. I will definitely be staying there on future trips :)

Nice welcome to Nairobi

It was our first time in Kenya, and it was nice to be welcomed by the hotel's driver outside the airport. Esther was in touch with us even before our trip and helped to arrange for us to be picked up. She made us feel very much welcome throughout our stay, with her wonderful smile and warm personality.

The restaurant had a great menu, a good mix of local food and \"international food.\" The hotel was conveniently located close to a mall with a large supermarket (Carrefour), a health food shop, a book shop etc.

The hotel is located in Westlands, Nairobi very close to the corporate offices and Westlands Mall. The hotel staff and GM are very helpful. I had forgotten my money in the safety vault at the time of departure, but the hotel helped in transferring the money to me.
The food and the breakfast buffet is also nice.

Pleasant experience in okay hotel.

Overall it was a pleasant stay in one of the hotel's one bedroom apartments. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are spacious, although a bit dated. Unfortunately the insulation is quite thin, and you can hear every little noise through the single glazed windows. A bit weird is the fact that there are windows towards the hallway so that at night there's ways some light shining through to the apartments.

Wonderful apartment for short or long stay

I was pleasantly surprised by Bidwood Suites. Our room was a serviced apartment and not a standard hotel room. We had 2 bedrooms plus a small kitchen and comfortable sitting room. There was more than enough space for our family of 4 to spread out and do our own things. The staff are wonderful and you cannot beat the location if you need to be in the Westlands area.

The restaurant was good but not great. Another case of an ambitious menu and an inability to cook a wide variety. They should take it to the basics (local fare, burgers, soups/salads and maybe pasta) and focus on producing the tastiest food possible. Unfortunately the menu got me excited and I was disappointed by the actual meals.

We were in town for a wedding, and had excellent service from the staff as we booked a series of taxis around town. Restaurant staff and front desk staff are the same people almost every shift, so over the week we were there we got to know them well. They really made our trip!

Great alternative to other Westlands Hotels.

This stay was an experiment to find an alternative to a well known 5star hotel in Westlands. The price was very good, the room (upgraded to two bedroom suite) was amazingly big with full kitchen, living area, balcony, two bedrooms and two full size bathrooms. It was an excellent choice although it was only for one night.
Service was good, welcome was pleasant and check out went smoothly. Breakfast was not amazing but was perfectly adequate and staff were very helpful and I was quite happy with the offerings. My only objection was a guest was smoking at the next table in the alfresco section of the restaurant and that was very unpleasant. A smoking ban in all areas food is served would be welcomed. I come from Western Australia and smoking in restaurants and alfresco areas is not permitted so was surprised this was permitted.

This hotel is family run, is comfortable, clean and welcoming. Staff were helpful and accommodating. We were upgrade to a one bed suite free of charge on arrival. There was a stuff up with our bill where the payment to Wotif had not registered with the hotel. It took 20 mins to sort out at check out. Not sure whose fault it was.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Bidwood Suite Hotel very much after a long travel day getting to Nairobi. The beds were comfortable, the room impeccably clean and the breakfast was delicious and fresh.

The negatives were that the grounds were not inviting. There was no garden to speak of and so many security visible that you felt like a prisoner sometimes. The construction and traffic noises seemed never to stop. There really was nothing for a non-Kenyan to watch on TV. It would have been nice to have one channel to watch an English anything.

Great hotel close to shops and restaurants

The Bidwood Hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay in Nairobi. The hotel staff are incredibly kind and upgraded us to a wonderful room. We were exhausted from our travels and the room service was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was simple but good quality. The hotel is located right by the Sarit Centre, so super convenient for changing money and shopping (the health food store there is fantastic!). The only thing (and it's a tiny thing) that I would suggest is to somehow address the room heating - our room (which we were grateful for!) was super spacious and without any form of heat, it got a bit cold at night, but the hotel staff were kind enough to bring us another blanket to use on the couch, so really this is a minor quibble!

Great hotel in Nairobi

The hotel is new, and the room we booked for four people was spacious and super clean, everything was in excellent shape. Two bedrooms and two baths, we didn't think it would be so large. The staff are helpful and nice. The breakfast was excellent! Every day it was slightly different and tasty, even lattes and hot chocolate. We also appreciated that for an early morning departure, the kitchen is open 24 hours. The neighbourhood is central, it's Nairobi so not particularly safe - we took a two minute taxi to Westgate Mall and it was easy, other than that our driver toured us around the city. We'd definitely stay again.
