The property was spacious, and my unit was as large as an apartment, so I had plenty of room to spread out. The pool was great, but the best thing about it is that I went down there to see spring training games, and its location just north of Phoenix meant that I was within a half hour of all of the ball parks! The people running the place were very nice as well!

This property was horrible. We arrived late at night and the lobby was locked. The armed security guy walked to the door, and told me to call the number on the door. He would not open the door, I have to assume that is because it is a bad neighborhood. I called the number and no one answered. As it was now about 3:00AM, looked for another hotel. I would recommend looking elsewhere, this area did not feel safe at all.

absolutely disgusting.when we arrived,we couldn't enter our room .the neighborhood had their pitbull unleashed at the door we watched a drug deal go down in the parking lot.The room was filthy the carpet on the stairs and the couch was stained almost black looks like it's never been cleaned. lifted the sheets on the beds there were stains and hair all over the beds. the floors were never swept there was food and dust all over the rest of the floor.my daughters were terrified and crying we left and found a new hotel I would not have this place on Expedia (I would like to know how i could get a refund)

Absolutely disgusting experience. The room had roaches, smelled strongly like urine, and clearly had not been properly cleaned. Several things in the room didn’t even work. It felt dirty and very neglected. No guest should have to deal with bugs, terrible smells, broken amenities. I would never stay here and strongly recommend avoiding this place.

We arrived late after the office had closed. When we went into the room it was disgusting. The room stunk, and it was infested with german cockroaches! The sheets all had stains on them, and the pull-out coach was never cleaned. When I removed the cushions, the crumbs of many meals and someone's underwear were on top of the pull out under the cushions. Once I pulled out the mattress, the sheets were still dirty, and had something brown spilled on them. The room looked nothing like the booking photos, and the coffee machine was missing the pot, making it unusable. Disgusting!

There’s something wrong with everything. There is no front desk, TVs and half the outlets don’t work, the smoke detector was taped to the ceiling, doors and doorways were cracked and poorly repaired, and the window curtain fell off its rack while I was staying there. Yes it’s a cheap option but definitely comes with its share of issues.

The internet rating for this hotel was erroneous. It was rated as four stars only to find out later that it was two and a half stars, maybe. The strict non smoking policy was fraudulent. As soon as we opened our room, the smell of smoke was overwhelming. The listing was, in fact, fraudulent. Because it lacked basic amenities and the room was in disrepair. If I was hotels.com, I would no longer affiliate with this property cause it will give you as a much of a bad name as it is for them. I do not recommend this property to anyone traveling.

Checking in was very difficult, there's no front desk. Never got check in instructions after booking, and had to call the 24/7 number multiple times, it kept going to voicemail. When i finally got through they couldn't find my booking, it took half an hour from the time i got to the hotel for them to find me and get me into the room. The room had cockroaches and after 2 nights I'm covered in bug bites. The second night there was water pouring from the ceiling in the bathroom, i called twice for maintenance and no one ever came.

I wish these reviews were honest so I wouldn’t have experienced this terrible place!!!!! The check in process took a while. It was all on the phone and they send you a door code, the code didn’t work. The first door you walk through the door was broken and the code was not needed so anyone could walk in. They send a maintenance man who took 30 mins to come get the door open. Then he was in the room an additional maybe 20 minutes attempting to fix the door, I finally told him to come the next day. We didn’t want to touch anything but it was so late we just went to sleep. At 6am there was someone banging at the door. My children were so scared, luckily they stopped after a few seconds and left. There was a lot of foot traffic and let me not forget the smell, it was terrible. If they invested in remodeling and new furniture it has potential but right now it’s a 0/10!!!

The pictures are a scam !! Depending on the units some are filthy smell like animal urine , burn holes in sheets nothing wiped down or sanitized!! Honesty I had to fight for a different room I couldn’t even sit inside I sat in my car until they agreed to change the room AFTER stating they had no open rooms an I couldn’t get a instant refund to even purchase a different hotel !!! Very disappointed in the service

The property was run down, and I was not comfortable with the looks of the people I was seeing walking around the property. There was no staff or anyone to talk too. I did not get my room number or a code until after I got there and texted and called. The door code did not work and I could not get a response from anyone for a correct door code. I did not feel safe there and i feel like i was mislead about what the property was.

Our stay had several challenges that made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. The building itself appears somewhat outdated, and we experienced an issue accessing the entrance door. The access code provided did not work on the exterior door, and we had to call the support number to have someone let us in, which resulted in about a 15-minute wait. Unfortunately, this access issue was never fully resolved during our stay.
Inside the building, the hallways felt humid and did not seem well ventilated. In our room, the smoke detector appeared to be taped in place, which raised some safety concerns, especially since there was a noticeable cigarette odor. We also encountered a few bugs in the room. Additionally, one of the bathroom walls had a visible crack that looked like it had been patched and painted over.
Due to these concerns, we requested a refund and submitted photos to support our claim. However, we did not receive a response from the manager or operations officer. We also had difficulty reaching customer service for updates, despite calling multiple times. As of now, we have not received any communication regarding our refund request.
We hope the management can address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

Horrible, worst than horrible. Paid for a premium apartment hotel, got a super small grossly disappointing studio unit. Filthy sheets, walls had scraps stains and missing wall paper. Toilet didn’t work. I can go on but this was the most horrific experience with 2 toddlers I could imagine being in a different state with no where else to go but our car. and no other hotels nearby had availability. I was very disappointed with my stay. When we entered the room, there was a strong odor that smelled like mold and cat urine. The room did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned, and we noticed insects, including cockroaches, during our stay.
The property did not match the photos shown online and appeared much more worn and in need of maintenance than expected. There was frequent activity outside our room late at night, including loud arguments, which made it difficult to feel comfortable — especially traveling with my children.
I signed a property agreement regarding property rules during check-in, yet some of the activity happening outside did not reflect those standards. I requested a refund due to the cleanliness and comfort concerns, but it was declined.
I hope management takes steps to improve cleanliness, maintenance, and the overall guest experience.

If it weren't possible at all to leave any sort of a lesser review than One Star, I would do it. The only reason I'm leaving a review is so people know how horrible and wretched this place is to stay in.

The people that are working at the front desk are fine. The environment, the cleanliness, the rooms are trash. I don't say that lightly. I mean that with every sense of the word: the environment and the surrounding environment is not safe to bring a family to, not safe to bring your wife. Everything in this place was horrible.

When I say rodents, roaches, and critters, they were everywhere. From the moment that I walked through the front door I counted at least five roaches living in the floor dead. When I woke up in the middle of the night I counted at least six crawling around on the counters and I had to kill. This place is absolutely horrid and I should have been refunded for even staying here but I just don't want to be tolerated with people anymore.

There isn't a more horrific review that can be left of this place and I use hotels all the time. Do not, and I mean this, do not stay there. I canceled two days early and found a different hotel in just eight. The cost because I did not want to be in that place anymore.

They gave me two towels, no dishes, no pots and pans. The shower was horrific, everything When I asked for more towels or more pillows they rejected that and iinform me to do my own laundry.
The people were kind the service was below human standard.

It was a place to stay for a night that was semi affordable for valentines night. We booked it to be closer to the area for the renaissance festival. It was clean enough but we could not turn off the light over the stove and the showers leaked. Overall it served it’s purpose.

Live cockroaches infested the property we did not stay and ended up needing to find a new hotel. Trying to get ahold of the property for a refund is impossible and everyone we have contacted either doesn’t reply or denies the infestation and we have video and picture evidence. Upon arrival, we found the room to be in extremely poor condition. The linens were dirty, the shower was unclean, and the plates and cups in the kitchen were visibly dirty as well. The overall cleanliness of the room was completely unacceptable.

Additionally, there were concerning activities occurring in the parking lot, which made us feel unsafe. There was no staff present at the front desk to assist us.

We contacted the person handling check-in calls to request clean sheets and were told that there were no clean ones available. Given the lack of cleanliness, absence of staff support, and unsafe environment, we were left with no choice but to leave the property.

This experience did not meet even the most basic hospitality or safety standards.

There were roaches crawling around the room. We had somebody knocking on our door claiming to be maintenance at 1 o’clock in the morning they stayed out of view for the site glass. And demanded that I opened up the door. or the door will be forced open!!! Remind you at 1 o’clock in the morning. Known to be a high traffic, druggie area with lots of homeless. which I was not aware of while booking. After forcing my opinion of me, not opening up the door. While having no proof they were actually maintenance. Me and my girl stayed up for a few hours spiked and unable to sleep, after finally falling asleep, maybe around 2:30 or 3, I hear knock at the door at 7 AM again maintenance asking to enter the room due to water leak downstairs. At this point, I packed my bags, went to the front desk, demanding a refund in full for all the disturbance and poor quality applying to the roaches, I paid for February 13-15, remind you check-in is at 4 PM February 13 and left February 14 at 7:00am, what a way to spend a Valentines morning… I have still not gotten an update about my refund!!! I’m so pissed

First the good. It's cheap. And one of the security guards was actually very nice and provided us towels, which wasn't really his job.
After the afternoon hours, there's no one at the property. You have to just call a number for any help or issues.
First thing, we have to keep in mind that this is an extended stay location, not a regular hotel. If you don't know what that means, I suggest you look it up. There are all kinds of people that stay here, from the average person vacationing, to all kinds of nearly homeless people.
Of course that is beyond the control of the management, and it's not anything on them.
First thing when we got to the room, there were no towels anywhere. Not one. We had to call and text and email and call again, until finally someone called back.
The first reply I got was, that they could get us towels by the next day. Of course that's absolutely not acceptable, and they shouldn't even have suggested that. I pushed back, and they agreed to have someone get us towels finally. About an hour and a half later, that's when the security guard knock that out door and ask us what we needed. Apparently he wasn't aware of exactly what was going on, but he managed to find some towels for us.

Water pressure is decent, the bed looked relatively clean, average comfort level, so no major bonuses or negatives.
There are however a lot of little things that give you the impression that the property could be better maintained. Caulking that's peeling off,

This place is terrible so the front desk closes at 8 PM so I had to do everything through a text message and the tub was running so I had to shut the door but I still could hear it and then I left and I got locked out the room and it took me like 30 minutes to get back into the room to keep it wasn’t working they don’t have keys so they said they can switch rooms but I just want to get a refund,but since I booked with hotels.com they said since I was checked in that I couldn’t get a refund so they change my rooms. The door is broke so I had to wait for the maintenance guy to fix it. Then the thermostat was broke so he came back later that evening to fix that the thermostat still stinks in the floor was all dirty was turn my feet black so I had to wear sandals the whole time!!!!!! They only gave me like two towels, one washcloth one hand towel They said I have to wash my linens for a little bit. I’m not about to wash that I didn’t want to give you any more toilet paper soap all I went to front that she did give me some. I didn’t have a car so I couldn’t go anywhere to get any. Just horrible!!!!!!

Avoid this place!!! Oh my... where do i start? Hmmm we went to check in. The office was closed, we had to call a number and it was a pain to get someone to answer, then email forms back n forth.... then we get a code for the doors. The inside of the building was clearly neglected and dirty. The room was HORRIBLE.dirty, stuff was broken and it smelt like WEED!! BAD!!! The locks on the window were broken, no shower head in the bathroom, DIRTY I didnt even want to use the shower... someones dirty rag was left in the bathroom. Grossss!!! The pillows basically werent even pillows. Lumpy flat i didn't even want to sleep there but we had nowhere else to go. Do yourself a favor and Do Not stay here!!!

Room was dirty, non smoking room smelled like smoke. Found dead bugs and live bugs everywhere. Couch smelled of urine. Pulled the sheets back on the bed and the sheets were covered in hair. The shower curtains had what looks like blood stains on them. The woman and the front desk was rude as hell. Ignored anyone who was not white. Everything was just disgusting. We booked 2 nights but only stayed one. Thankfully we were able to get our refund for the second night. Only good thing that went right.

I reserved the room well over a week in advance and it was not ready upon arrival. We had to wait 30 minutes for our room to be ready and even then there was still hair all over the floor, bugs crawling on the wall, and an awful smell coming from the couch. I was having difficulty breathing in the room only to find dog hair floating everywhere falling onto our belongings.

Upon arrival there were no towels, NONE in the room, the cable box that should have been in the living room-missing, as was the remote, no silverware, no dinner plates, no drinking glasses, 1 small plate, 1 bowl, the closet doors in the bathroom- missing, a handle on one of the bathroom drawers-missing, the tp holder was broken & unable to hold the tp, there was no clock (I slept through an appointment the first day -my phone died in the night-coulda really used that clock) the lampshade was missing from the living room lamp, no phone (but to be expected nowadays), 1 broken chef knife, 1 small pan, 2 pots-1 big pot and 1 small (that's ok), 2 small coffee mugs (that's ok too), the hot cooktop light on the stove won't shut off (maybe a short somewhere?), no iron or board, that's about all I can remember right now that was wrong. I've stayed here before in several different rooms & there have always been at minimum towels. The rest of it was always hit or miss but if you went to the office, they would bring it to you. I went to the office. The lady said they would bring it in 15 minutes. It never arrived. I got a towel from a friend & spoons & forks from the QT. Bring your own stuff if you want to have anything to eat off of or with, drink out of, dry off with; cause you might not get it in your room/apartment even though it's inclusive, sometimes they don't have it as it may have been stolen or accidentally taken by the prior occupant. Not the place's fault, really.

I don't deal with Roaches, so there should be no reason I stay at a place where roaches are walking on my pillow and the kitchen, it was really disturbing this place need a whole new redo or something

Complete nightmare. Once I arrived to find out it's an apartment complex and I had to fill out a lease agreement. I am extremely exhausted I want to do is get some sleep. Also I am supposed to pay a deposit for things broken or chipped however no one is doing a walk through with me so how can they prove that someone else didn't already break or trip things. Didnt end up staying and awaiting management to refund us after we had to leave. It was over run by cockroaches, they know this is a problem and are treating but still allowing reservations without warning. Also it was very unclean, nothing like the photos. This is in a run down apartment complex that had barefoot kids outside at 9pm, a guy fixing his truck in the parking space, a man with a truck full of junk. Women arguing. It does not feel safe at all and does not match the photos. We also had someone ask us for 5$ in the parking lot. You must call multiple times for assistance.

I read the reviews after I booked the room I was nervous but I still gave them a chance there are a few things they need to work on the water leaks on there faucets and the and fixing the doors and screws but I seen no bugs when I was there And when you guys mop make sure the floors are dry it was a big wet puddle in the kitchen but I can see you guys are trying to make things better and talk to people living there with there kids they need a curfew shouldn’t be out late at night

If I could leave a negative star, I would! This property is falsely advertised, as it’s as a living community where unrented rooms are rented out and labeled as “deluxe” studios. The rooms don't have keys (or key cards) but rather key pads and you are given a post-it-note with the code to get in. When I went to my room the door unlocked upon turning the handle, no code needed. When I went in the key pad was disconnected and only the deadbolt worked. When I went to the front desk to complain, they sent a maintenance worker and they confirmed it didn’t work and left, never to come back.

I had to go back to the front desk and they said they were going to try and get it fixed but they could not guarantee it would get fixed that day. I told them I felt unsafe staying in a room that didn't lock. They said there was nothing they could do, so I told them I wanted to check out. They said that was my choice. I then asked for proof of checking out and that said “we don’t do that. We just knock on the doors and if no one answers then we consider them as checked out.” When I asked about getting refunded they said I had to do that through Expedia.

It was an absolutely horrible experience, and that’s not mentioning the drug use I witnessed in the parking lot as well as the “watching” by residents of any new people entering the property.

Please do your favor and stay clear of this property!!

Arrived at 11pm and had to check in via phone after being told that the office would be upon our arrival which it was not. Room was filthy, killed three cockroaches, smelled of musty long term smoking in unit. Cabinets in disrepair and damaged, dirt streaks 6’ on the ceilings from the A/C vent. In less than an hour, I booked accommodations at a different location beginning the next day. Booking Phoenix Metro through Expedia but they would not respond back to Expedia when I requested a refund. No refund provided. To ge honest, I’m more upset with Expedia than with Phoenix metro for not resolving this issue. Took numerous photos of the dirt and disrepair which can’t be shared on this format. DO NOT RENT HERE. I wish I had known before hand and having to pay twice for accommodations in Phoenix.

It's just an apartment complex that rents out unused apartments. Trash everywhere, tenants just going about their business (as they should, since they actually live there), staff smoking out front even though it's a fine to smoke in your \"extended stay suite\", drugs being smoked on the other side of the lot, and it looks nothing like the photos. Requested a cancelation but since neither I nor expedia can reach the property, I was offered a \"goodwill\" credit. First time booking with expedia and never will again. They don't vet the places they tell us to stay, then do not care about your safety, then offer you basically nothing for a room you never even checked in to because it was so unsafe. Save yourself book the headache and the money

Review of Metro Phoenix Extended Stay
I would not recommend anyone to stay at Metro Phoenix Extended Stay, and I deeply regret my experience there. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was not a place worth spending money on.
First, I was greeted by a horrible roach infestation in the room. It was disgusting to see bugs crawling around in the space that I was supposed to be staying in. It felt unsanitary and unsafe, making it impossible to feel comfortable.
To make matters worse, the area surrounding the property was sketchy and unsettling. There were homeless individuals sleeping outside, and the entire environment gave off an unsafe vibe. This is not a place where you would feel secure.
The room itself was no better. It reeked of urine, and there were visible holes in the walls. It was clear that maintenance and cleanliness were not priorities for the management here.
Despite all of this, the most frustrating part was the non-refundable deposit. Even though I chose not to stay due to the roach infestation, unsafe surroundings, and overall unpleasant conditions, I was still charged for the deposit. This feels like a scam, especially when the hotel was not up to even basic standards of cleanliness or safety.
In short, I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Metro Phoenix Extended Stay. Save yourself the hassle, time, and money. There are plenty of other places in the area that will offer a better experience—without roaches, unsafe conditions, and foul odors. This

What upset me was they wouldn't room my deposit over for me to extend my stay out price match the lowest on line price for that exact hotel and room like studio 6 does other than that I liked it much better but I did see a couple roaches unfortunate pretty control and clean garbage cans could rid that problem big bathtub I liked that and fun kitchen with stove and oven kits to like lots to dislike but I will stay here again so because of the room size and kitchen it's fully stocked with cooking and eating pots pans and what not to cook with and eat on

This property should not be listed and offered as a hotel. The property is mostly occupied by people who are already leaving there. Upon arrival everything seemed pretty good. Tesa helped me check in and thankfully we got there a few minutes before they closed the lobby. Since the online check in didn't work. So if you get there past 8 the lobby and front desk is closed. The outside area smelled like marijuana. People visibly smoking outside even thought its not permitted. The area was already looking bad but we still got out and headed to our rooms. First room door handle was broken of like someone forced their way in. So we headed towards the secon room. We walked to a kitchen with cockroaches, a stained couch, doors with holes, weird smell, uncleaned bathroom. We hurried picked our stuff and left. Nothing felt clean about the rooms and was unsafe. The pictures posted are not the reality of this place.

This location is misrepresented on hotels.com. I suggest looking at MetroHospitality.com for detailed disclosure of your expected experience before booking. If I'd been informed prior to reserving at Metro Phoenix Extended, I would never have reserved there and never will again. The room type I booked was not the initial room type I was put into and no one at the front desk told me they were giving me a different room type at the time of check-in. As soon as I realized I went back to the front desk and was told that there were no King suites available and that the Queen I was given was the last of the room type available. I had already been waiting two hours past my arrival and check-in time for a room to be cleaned and made available. The room appeared to be cleaned in a hurry and not well. The bathtub was gross with possible black mold in the crevices. Be aware this location intentionally prevents a bath from being filled and used. A bath was a main reason I booked the room. The next day I waited most of the day to be moved to the actual room type I had booked, only to have to wait while maintenance installed a faucet which would allow a bath, to later not get because not enough hot water. Many insects in the room and once I realized there were bedbugs we left immediately. I insisted to receive a full refund and management refused. I only got refund from Expedia after much persistence. The ONLY staff who was genuinely kind is Asia who I would give 5 Stars to her.

Could not pay me to stay there again. Arrived after 9, front desk was closed ao i had to call a hotline. Total of 8 calls and over an hour to finally get into a cleaned room. 1st time they gave me a wrong code then the room wasnt even clean when I got in. Another call and they gave me a different room with a code that worked. Just to stay a few hours to get to the airport for a 7am flight. Horrible.

Check in was a nightmare. I did not arrive by 5:30 and there was no one at the leasing office. When I called the number on the door several times, I did not get a call back until I went through Expedia. This took over an hour. The room looked clean. However, when I went to the kitchen to eat, there were roaches in there. I killed two of them and promptly checked out.

I would give zero stars if I could. Our stay at this hotel was awful from start to finish. The room had a hole in the door and the door trim looked like it had been chewed up by a dog. The entire place reeked of weed, making it impossible to relax or feel comfortable. Even worse, there were shady people hanging around the property, and some of them made threatening gestures as we went to our room. I did not feel safe here at all.

We only stayed about 20 minutes—just long enough to book a room at a different hotel. After all this, the hotel still refused to refund our money. Absolutely unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this place.

Do not stay at this location! Check in at the front desk is only available 4-5:30pm. I believe they do this so they don’t have to come face to face with disgusted customers. We had 5 rooms booked (three of which were 6 bedroom occupants.) Mowt rooms had no bedding, bugs and cockroaches scattered when the e opened the doors, the hallway of two rooms was matted with dog fur, towels had hairs, bathrooms were dirty and room floors were filthy. The pictures online ate a completely false representation of what this facility looks like. Management was difficult to impossible to work with. We were promised a refund when we couldn’t stay there and are now fighting to receive that refund.

Arrived on property at about 9pm or so after flying into Phoenix. It was nothing like we expected. The property was dirty and trashy with clothes hanging from the stair well, people yelling and running around the property and cars constantly coming and going (not for the right reasons). Got inside the property and found old outdated furniture, broken counter top, shelves barely hanging on in the bathroom and a leaking bathtub faucet. We had to sign this massive agreement to even check into the property online but it was pointless. We were up all night on the first night cause the upstairs tenant was jumping around, dropping stuff and constantly in and out of his unit running downstairs to come and meet people outside our unit. Yelling, talking, and laughing constantly.
We spent the next day away from the property due to the fact that we were feeling comfortable

This place is an absolute dive. Outside my room, it smelled like pot. My room stunk of who knows what. There was a domestic fight outside my room. The couch was so dirty, you couldn’t pay me to sit on it. There was no remote control for my TV. I called about it and was told to download the Roku app. The shower was moldy in areas, the shower curtain was disgustingly dirty. Looked like there was blood on the wall. The furniture was chipped and broken. The counter top in kitchen was broken. The mattress looked like it had been walked on with dirty feet.

When my daughter and son-in-law arrived to their room, they found their door unlocked and pushed open the door. It stunk like crap in their room and the couch pillows were on the kitchen table. The bed looked like someone had been lying on it. They could not even close their front door, let alone lock it. People were smoking dope on the balcony above their room. One guy stopped and just stared at my daughter as she walked by. They too felt very unsafe and disgusted at the conditions and left with me to go find a safer and cleaner place to stay.

We’ve asked for a refund due to the conditions, but have not received a response from management.

Renter be warned! This place does not look like the pictures as advertised.
