I was offered an upgrade and the room I ended up with was a good size. I thought I was going to have a wet bathroom floor as the shower area was just screened off in the corner. However it was not an issue as the drain was immediately below this and no water escaped. Breakfast was limited to a choice of rolls and pastries with tea or coffee, but was good value. My only criticism was the lack of TV channels but I don't go away just to watch TV. You could however cast media from your phone if that's something that you might choose but not for me.

Absolutely amazing hotel! The reception is clean, bright and wonderfully decorated. Everything feels new and modern and the staff were super helpful at check in and were always available and happy to help. Our room was spacious, light and impeccably clean - it made any time we spent in there a relaxing time. The location is also perfect, just far away that you get a quiet and restful sleep, but close enough to a metro that you can be in the centre in no time at all. I would not hesitate at booking this, or any other scandic hotel because it was such a wonderful experience at a great price!

We were pleasantly surprised by how perfect our stay was. The hotel is new and well maintained. The lounge has lots of spaces to work and even better with 2 meeting booths if you need a quiet space to do your work calls. The bed was super comfy and bathroom was clean, lots of hooks to hang your stuff. We got the no window room which I was a little worried at the beginning but seemed to be okay.

The single room is small, and the overall hotel is simple. Yet it is also extremely practical. I believe the value for what you pay is unmatched. I have never stayed in a hotel where they thought of everything - nice lobby to check emails, friendly staff, affordable snacks accessible 24/7, laundry on site with detergent included, comfortable beds, lock boxes if you have a later flight so you can leave luggage at the hotel, plenty of food options just outside the hotel, walking distance to the subway, even a kids playground nearby. I will for sure come back.

Myself and my wife stayed here for several days last week. We love Stockholm (and Sweden in general) but hasn't stayed in this area before. It was a pleasant suprise! There are plenty of options for food and drink close to the hotel and really good transport links to the more central areas of Stockholm.

The hotel is quiet, relaxed and clean, which is very typical of Sweden. The staff are absolutely lovely. The WiFi is good and the room was a very reasonable price!

My niggles with the hotel are very small indeed to be honest. The pillows in our room were just, well, not great, though the bed was very comfortable.

The other thing is that the laundry room, whilst free and very welcome, needs basic information about a couple of typical washes in a couple of major languages. Our Swedish is quite good, but when you have to get deal with the dials on a washing machine, even with Google Translate, it's pretty heavy going!

In summary though, it's a well thought-out, friendly, quiet hotel which is in a good location! Recommended!

The hotel was great, my only problem was the room had no windows so felt very claustrophobic (which is my fault for booking a tiny room without windows).
The bed was comfortable, and the room was well equipped considering the size.
The staff were great, and the breakfast in the morning was perfect for the low price I paid.

This place has hostel vibes as it is super welcoming and friendly and a good place to chill, but hotel vibes in the room sense.

My only criticism is the place where you put the card in to turn the light has an awfully bright blue light (which worst bad for sleep) that illuminates the whole room when the card is in it but is needed for lights. This light should be removed.

The communal areas are great, very clean, staff are very friendly and super helpful. We had a Queen Room with no windows - obviously we expected no windows, however I didn’t realise how much I would miss a window! The walls are very thin, we could hear everything going on around us which meant some nights sleep was difficult as you could hear doors closing, toilets flushing, taps running and people talking. Otherwise I’d say you get what you pay for, it’s suitable for a few nights if you plan to be out exploring most of the day!

Never Again

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I checked in around 12 AM, and immediately, I was disturbed by a couple making loud noises in their room. Later that night, an alarm went off and continued until around 5 or 6 AM, making it impossible to sleep.

Frustrated, I went down to the lobby to cancel my stay and request a refund. Initially, the young lady at the front desk was unwilling to accommodate me, but after speaking with the manager, they agreed to process the refund. I then decided to move to another hotel nearby for the night.

However, after I left, I contacted the hotel several times regarding my refund, but they continuously denied my request. Ultimately, I had to dispute the charge through my bank to get my money back.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The staff was unhelpful, and the situation was poorly handled.

Great location (near the Fridhemsplan metro station) and clean hotel. Hotel staff was available to help with checkin and to make coffee. There was a self service free laundry room at the hotel with two washing machines and two dryers. Highly recommend the nearby restaurant The Streetfood Labs. The frozen drinks were pricey but very good. We had the birria burrito and nachos which were also good.

I had what was called the ‘tiny, windowless room’ and it was great for 1 person. Bathroom was a good size. Single bed was comfy and there were storage options. Very handy for Metro and buses and walkable into the centre at a push. Price was excellent and I would definitely stay again.

Just on the outskirts of Stockholm but still a good few streets to walk through with good dining options on the way to the central part of the city.

The hotel was super modern, but very much a quick stay type of hotel. We had a smaller room than we thought but was still very clean and doable for a couple who isn’t spending too much time at the hotel. Has laundry services which was very handy!

The staff were very lovely and attentive. Definitely recommend for a quiet hotel away from the bustle of the main city!
