It’s a central location which is a big plus. It’s also surprisingly quiet despite being so close to the train and bus station. It’s a. It ‘no frills’ but considering we were up and out enjoining breakfast in the cafes and not back until late, it was ideal. Our room was small but it didn’t bother us. If you’re looking for a place that is cheap, clean, tidy and friendly this is ideal.

I was so hot, and we chose a no windows room. This hotel doesn’t have A/C. Hotel staff said there’s ventilation on the ceiling. At 3 am, the room temperature was getting better.

My room was a shoebox in size but then what does one really need?
The sheets and duvets were sparkling clean white.
Plenty of hot water with good pressure- mind your step going into the bathroom- it’s quite high- not for oldies with hip problems.
Staff at Barception very warm welcoming and helpful. Especially Emma who became my conscierge.
Then lastly of course it’s the location- right next door to the Arlanda Express station which takes you to the airport in 11 minutes - can’t beat that!!

Tycker inte om att hotellet drar beloppet för hela vistelsen innan man har checkat in. Handfat ska inte rinna så långsamt att man börjar misstänka stopp.

Utmärkt system att köpa till frukost (115 kr). Då kan få den vid den tidpunkt som stämmer med ens resplaner.

Hotellet ligger utmärkt för alla som använder tåg, fjärrbussar eller flyg.

Dåligt städat kladdigt golv, dammigt vid rampen bredvid sängen.
Ingen papperskorg tömd under trenätters vistelse ingen extra toarulle ingen städerska syntes till under hela tiden. Dyr avgift o ändå ingen frukost. Såg knappast ingen personal,under tidenmer än vid incheckning där tekniken strulade,men fick hjälp.
Tänker nog inte använda hotellet igen.

Extremely misleading and refuse to fix any issues. This is a place that obviously tries to scam travelers.

We were aware of having to pay for a parking spot, but was lead to believe that it was a part of the hotel cost when we arrived at the front desk. Additionally, when we were told to park in their parking garage, there is no visible machine to pay for a spot. They hid the machine, and took me 20 minutes to find it after receiving the parking ticket.

We were handed a slip of paper with the parking information in Sweedish (only English speaker) and asked for it to be put in English. They refused, but explained the ticket in English and left out that we needed to pay for the parking spot. They provided us with name of parking structure, code to the garage, and what spots to park in. They never told us that an additional charge would be needed for the parking. The machine to pay for the spot was strategically hidden in the parking structure. There are no signs that show it's location.

I tried to fix this issue by going up to the front desk of the hotel, and after waiting 30 minutes for them to call managers, they simply told me that not understanding the language is not a valid excuse and they refused to do anything about it.

Elevator was not working properly and felt like it was going to fall apart.

For a double-bed room and its price, the room was way to small, just barely larger than the size of a double-bed. No table, no chair, no cattle.., so the room was good enough to sleep over and that's about it.

Also, a hotel with hundreds of rooms deserves a proper reception (not a "bar-ception"). Self-check in is fine, I guess, as an additional resource, but if you have a customer trying to resolve an issue, you may be waiting for a while until you are served.

I must say the staff is great. They were efficient, responsive and helpful.

The room was clean.

All in all, if you are just sleeping over and in a great need of being in the center of the city very close to main train station, this is a fair option. For anything else, I'd say try looking for a more comfortable place, maybe 30mins away by public transport.

Rooms are tiny, not fancy. Chinsy towels (and only two for a two person room for two days with no service). And also they only give you two pillows. We were able to ask for more. Also, we had two rooms and they were the exact same but one was $7 per day more. Not sure why.

Great location. Easy access to trains and buses. Food available- no breakfast buffet but you can purchase some drinks and food (eg sandwich, panini, yoghurt, fruits etc) from their barception. They also have a very small selection of meal menu if you’re hungry. But there are plenty of other eateries nearby anyway.
Room is small. Generally clean enough but there was some unpleasant smell coming out from ventilation grill in some mornings.
Cost is cheaper than other hotels.
Check-in took a while for me - I booked thru Hotel.com but they couldn’t find the booking when I arrived. Staff helpful and managed to fix it and get me a room.

The real pull to this property is its proximity to the Airport buses and train station. You can tell it's an old office building that they put beds in. The cleaning staff is always working hard but there is significant wear and tear to the rooms. I thought it was just fine for the one night that I stayed.

Great stay in Central Stockholm. Small, simple rooms perfect for solo or couples traveling. The hotel is directly connected to the Arlanda Express station and then you can also walk through to the main station as well. The entire core of the city is walkable from here, with Gamla Stan being only about a 15 minute walk away. Highly recommend and will stay again on my next trip through Stockholm.

I have been choosing this hotel for years because it is smack dab in the middle of Stockholm and on top of the transit hub so when you arrive, there it is.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. As a solo traveler the room is perfectly compact but comfy for it to be my base.

I will definitely return sooner rather than later.

No amount of reading up about the hotel room could actually describe the size of this room. It is cheaper than most places but a bit more space would have been better. No window rooms have no A/C and it was warm even in April. Summer must be hell. It does though what you need, a double bed, a tv and a bathroom. No space to swing a cat though. 2 nights was more than enough for us.

Although it’s very centrally located, it was quite hard to find at first. They don’t clean the room if you’re only staying for two nights. It’s fine to stay if you’re out most of the day.

Loved the stay, no complaints at all. Although on top of the station, no noise or any inconvenience. Perfect location.

Loved the idea of having a clothes donations bag. It was a perfect coincidence as I was thinking of leaving my jumper before i had arrived.

The room was fairly basic, but it was spotlessly clean and the location was great. This is the perfect place to stay if you want a basic room with a good location for the transit system. I had to catch a very early train to Arlanda Airport when I left and the location right next to the Arlanda Express tracks was extremely convenient.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable and checking in and out was easy. Bar and lounge area is cool and they hold your bags before or after check in if you want. It is literally above the train station that goes to and from the airpot but surprisingly you don't hear the train at night. You are in walking distance to most things including the Old town if you are down for a 20min walk but we didn't have to use ride shares that much to do most things for a weekend trip. I highly recommend.

The hotel is owned by the YWCA-YMCA Central which is a non-profit organization with over 2, 000 members, ranging from basketball, gymnastics, camps for music, choirs, orchestras, youth choir and more. All of our profits go to the YWCA-YMCA Central's children and youth.

The rooms are spacious and have good workspace and Wi-Fi. All rooms also have shower, hair dryer, iron, ironing board, safe, and free television.

Garage is available but must be pre booked as we have limited space. Guests have free access to the gym, so you can stay in shape even when you're on the road.

The gym is well equipped and has changing rooms plus a sauna. The dining room serves a large breakfast buffet each morning.
