Do NOT stay here in April if you value Air Conditioning. The owner is cheap as hell and will NOT turn the AC on without multiple people complaining about it being hot. We had heat pumping and it was like 27⁰C outside, it was absolutely horrible. Window only opened halfway even though our neighbor's window opened so wide you could fit a mattress through it. Honestly do NOT stay here, you could do so much better 15 minutes away, in any of the other 20 hotels. Also, breakfast not being free is a crime.

Check-in was disappointing because we were booked into a room that did not match what we had booked. However, the reception staff apologised and gave us another room which did match our booking.
View from the room was great and the bed was comfortable as it always is when we come here. The fan in the bathroom sometimes worked sometimes not. This was not a big problem. The floor in the room could do with a deep clean.
There was enough choice of food for breakfast.

We have preferred this hotel due to its location it was close to our meetings in Izmir. Ramada name gave some confidence but the hotel was not what we have expected. The room was clean but there was a smell coming from the bathroom. The matress and the pillow were not comfortable. The hotel is located in a deserted mall... the breakfast was not bad but we had seen better ones .... You can stay here only if its location is convinient for your purposes and if you need a budget hotel.

Be selective about the room

Entering the hotel lobby was difficult, there should be more clear signs in car park. It was only one night stay for us but they gave a room that almost doesn't have a window (small windows looking at nowhere). I am a bit frustrated about this.

We are impressed that there is now an underground metro station just a few minutes walk away giving us easy access to the centre of Izmir.

We just stayed overnight this time and left before breakfast for an early appointment in the city centre.
As usual, we were welcomed like old friends and we were pleased with our room on a high floor overlooking the Bay of Izmir.
As usual, the bed and room were very comfortable with tea and coffee facilities.
Underground parking is easy and safe.
This welcoming hotel seems to be our home from home when visiting the city.

We really liked this hotel. The location was close to two major shopping centers both of which had large food courts. The rooms were large with very clean bathrooms
with great views(we were on the 18th floor). The breakfast buffet had lots of variety which we enjoyed. Best of all, we found it very easy to get to the highway to the airport at the end of our stay.

About room hotel and service

The bed was dirty and messy .
It shows wet blood scars.
Floor of toilet was dirty
Floor in the room also dirty
I guess they didnt clean with vaccum and water .

But the employe who work there are very kind .
Food was good,

And the most worse is the hotel only have 2 lift from many hundred room . I must wait 15-20 minutes to get inside the liff. Omg they must build new lift .

I do travel a lot but this was my Worse hotel ever, i have asked for double bed what they did was move two single bed together to make double bed i couldnt sleep because of the cape between two beds
Next morning i asked reception to make it two single at least i could sleep in one bed they were like oh we sorry to hear that we will fix it today bla bla bla i came back to hotel 4 am in the morning forget about fixing the bed they didnt come in the room for cleaning or making your bed basically i didnt have room service lol waste of money

Choose a different hotel.

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Turkey, and every one of them has had excellent customer service. This one was so comically bad, I had to laugh now and then, even though the attitude of the scornful older man who works at the reception desk infuriated me. I thought horrible customer service was a USA thing. And I still do. Maybe Ramada’s roots have crept up through cracks in the earth stretching from my home town to Balçova. They lied to me about the pool hours and requirements. Their ad is misleading. The light in the hall didn’t work. The computer equipment didn’t appear to be working in the office.

Rooms were small and bedding was over-worn and itchy. We had to pay a surcharge to use the pool and sauna- once we paid for it we were told we had to buy shower caps next door at decathalon. We did not want to do so therefore we did not receive a refund.

Convenient hotel to stay in a safe area.

There was a delay checking in when we arrived. Reception asked us to pay even though we had paid previously on-line. This was sorted out and we had a room on a high floor as we had requested. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the view across the Bay of Izmir in the evening after dark. The windows needed a good clean and the net curtains needed a good washing. Breakfast was excellent, the best we have had here, probably due to the property being full due to the Presidents Cycle Tour. As always, we will come again.

Handy location which is why we keep coming back.

Reception staff were very friendly - as always. On this ocassion they seemed very concerned about Covid vaccinations, yet 2 weeks before it was not a problem.
The room we booked was a Business room with a King-sized bed and a sofa bed. The room we got had a standard bed and no sofa-bed. (Not a problem on this occassion).
Room service was excellent. Very quick service. The salad we ordered was super-fresh and beautiful. Thank you to the chef.
We will be back.

Kısa saçlı sarışın bir hanımefendi ( ismini yazmayayım) bize evsizmişiz de otelde ücretsiz kalmayı rica ediyormuşuz gibi davrandı. Asla kibar bir cevap yok, tüm yanıtlar müşteriyi bozma üzerine kurulu. Rezervasyon henüz onaylanmadığı için lobide oturmamız gerekti, bir süre sonra tuvalet ihtiyacım için nereyi kullanabileceğimi sordum. Kattaki tuvaletin arızalı olduğunu, yardımcı olamayacağını söyledi. Otelde konaklayacağım ve onay beklerken tuvalet için yardımcı olmuyorsunuz yani bu mu dedim. Sert bakışlarla evet yardımcı olamıyoruz cevabını aldım. Zaten küçücük odalar için değerinin üstünde bir rakam isteniyor. Çift kişilik odada iki ayrı yatak, yürümek için alan bırakılmamış. Mini barda hiçbir şey yok, ekstra odaya bir şeyler söylendiğinde öyle oda hesabına yazın diye bir şey söz konusu değil nakit olarak o an isteniyor para. Kahvaltıya indiğimizde de oda numarası falan soruldu hemen. Hani konaklayana her an borç takıp gidecek biri muamelesi yapılıyor. Rahatsız hissettiriliyorsunuz her an. Kahvaltıda anne baba çocuk değilseniz aynı masada oturamazsınız dediler ayrıca. Anlıyoruz pandemi ama aynı odada kaldığım insanlarla nasıl birlikte yemek yiyemiyorum akıl almaz bi durum. We got the location wrong, but not the hotels fault. Some of the best restaurants ive been to in Turkey just across the road. A pide restaurant and the one to the left of it. Wardrobe..6 hangers per person, not 3! Bed comfortable, good shower. Not many spots to put your clothing which was weird.

Lovely hotel BUT Vegetarian discrimination...

Excellent high room overlooking the Bay of Izmir. At night, the view was spoilt by handmarks all over the windows. These were not visible in the daytime.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The safe did not work due to a low battery.
Breakfast was vety poor for vegetarians. There was meat in the scrambled egg and more meat side dishes. We asked for meat free egg and were told by chef that we must pay extra. This was discrimation and we complained to reception who ordered omlette 'on the house'. Well done reception!!! Restaurant manager - no points.
Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Excellent check-in complete with upgrade. English spoken at the desk.
Room was clean with a view across the Bay of Izmir.
We had a good breakfast the following morning but had to ask the chef for some fresh egg as somebody had used the meat spoon for serving the egg - not good for vegetarians. Chef provided egg straight from the kitchen, so that was great.

Negative:
There was no king-size mattress—just two twin beds pushed together. You could not sleep in the middle.
There was mold in the corner of the shower. The rest of the room was clean.
Positive:
My dog was welcomed as there were special rooms on the first floor for guests who had dogs.
Breakfast was good with a large variety of food, including hot entrees.
Staff spoke English.

We had a very unfortunate incident in this hotel.First time in our lives a personal belonging (a bracelet- valuable and with sentimental value) was lost from our room.The unexperienced reception staff made it worse that night causing a very upset customer even more disappointed. In addition to their very defensive attitude , they refused to inform their managers until we decided to call the police. We reported the incident to the police that night staying up until 3 am in the morning, tired , dissapointed , upset and worried about our general safety too as someone dared to take sth from our room and there was no one from the hotel supporting us as their customers that night. We were only able to talk to the general manager and the front desk manager of the hotel in the morning and received an apology. But unfortunately an apology does not bring back our ruined holiday night and day , our financial lost and the memories that is gone with it. The hotel has not found the bracelet yet although the suspect is most probably one person (can easily be tracked from the camera recordings of the floor) or offered us to cover our financial lost either.
The incident is with the police now and soon in court but the moral and ethical aspect of it is what upsets the customer/guest most..We booked Ramada as it is a brand under the Wydham Hotels.Hopefully the senior Wydham management will have a look into this faster and will follow a more professional customer satisfaction based way.

Room was not cleaned daily,only bed was made. Linen was old and frayed and tea and coffee were not replenished during our 3 day stay. Swipe cards to use elevator and gain room access did not work on 4 occasions, having to go back to reception to have them encrypted. I would not stay here again, i think there would be better hotels to stay at in this area.

I was not given the room I booked on Expedia (ie King Bed, Double Sofa, sea view). The room I was given did not have any sofa. The air conditioning also did not work. I brought this to the attention of the hotel but agan I was not given the room I booked on Expedia. There were two single beds joined, partial sea view and only a single armchair not a double sofa. The air conditioning still did not work.

Located next to a supermarket an a distant part of Izmir called Balcova, this hotel is suitable for patients or businessman dealing with Dokuz Eylul hospitals. Nothing of interrst to the tourist in the area. Nice enough non-luxury hotel with reasonable breakfast buffet.

Hotel didn't take my online order or the booking code Expedia hadn't gave them details so even though i had paid online already they couldn't arrange my room unless I paid again so I checked online at the Hilton with another company online I'm still waiting for my money back from Expedia very bad service from all!

Odanın hazırlık süreçi tamamlanmamıştı. Odaya giriş yapabileceğim saatten sonra bile hazır değildi. Bu nedenle biraz beklemek zorunda kaldım. Personeller bu durumu hızlı çözdü. Nazik ve güler yüzlü çalışanların olması memnun etti. Televizyon kanallarının çoğu çekmiyor ve yeterli tv kanalı yok. Böyle bir odada televizyonun kanalları az ve kalitesi düşük olmamalı.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht, weil wir Raucher sind. Haben aber ein Zimmer im 11. Stock bekommen. Also ein Zimmer, in dem man rauchen kann. Das ist aber leider nicht der Sinn der Sache. Man will ja nicht in einem Zimmer schlafen, wo man auch rauchen kann. Man möchte in der frischen Luft rauchen und in einem Zimmer schlafen, wo es nicht nach Rauch riecht. Zudem war das Zimmer aus den 90er Jahren. Die Couch, die im Zimmer stand war überall aber wirklich überall befleckt und hatte auch viele Branntlöcher. Ich bereue es, dass ich keine Bilder gemacht habe.
