Room was extremely clean and spacious, the included breakfast was excellent and the staff were courteous and polite. Transport using the city’s trams which are a short walk away is very convenient. There is light traffic noise with the windows closed at night but nothing that a standard pair of ear plugs cannot deal with. My second time and I will stay again.

I liked everything about my stay when it came to the hotel, but I had the receptionist call a taxi for me and he ended up trying to rip me off. This has nothing to do with the hotel or its staff but I wish he had called a better and more honest taxi driver for me. Also there is no ice machine in the hotel , kept having to go down to the restaurant if I wanted ice.

The view from the seafront room was incredible.
The bed is very soft, which I like, but not everyone agrees. There are no loud social spots near the hotel to cause a disturbance, but the elevator is slightly audible from within the room, but that didn't bother me at all either.

We booked a sea view room, beautiful views. Good breakfast and polite friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and come back. Only thing, is the distance from the hotel to the Konak ferry port or bazaar is definitely not a walk you can jump on a tram which is about 3 min walk from the hotel. And 2 stops you’re there. I’d say probably a good 30 min walk and if you plan on doing shopping you’d probably be exhausted by then as the markets are huge and a lot to explore.

The staff was great the breakfast was wonderful. The excessive noise from the busy highway made it impossible to open the slider and hear the TV or sleep. The hotel doesn't turn on the air system until May. Unfortunately in İzmir the weather can go into the 80s (30 ) in March and certainly in April. I would suspect they have a similar policy in the fall months. This is a problem when the room is stuffy and hot. Because of this noise and air conditioning policy I can't recommend the hotel for March and April. I'd ask about the September, October and November air policy.

Fabulous view of the Marmara Sea from the room, which was spacious, well maintained and had all the conveniences we needed. The street at the back has a few cafes & restaurants within walkable distance. The breakfast was a large & mixed spread of Turkish & continental food. The lady managing the breakfast room was sweet enough to serve us a breakfast plate sooner than normal breakfast timings because we needed to make an early start.

Location of the hotel is awesome. Away from main city area but still close. Beautiful location and right across from the Kordon walk path. Breakfast was ample, simple and enough for a good day start. Tram stop was few minute walk away which was convenient to travel to any part of the town. The area behind the hotel was all neighborhood with shops and cages which was very reasonable.

Wonderful hotel with a locked parking lot. You needed to call or run in the door to get someone to open the gate for the parking. WiFi was weak on the last few days of our week long stay. But the service was good and breakfast was plentiful.

The location has a beautiful view of the harbour, however, it's next to a busy noisy road. The room was ok, and the bed was comfortable. The staff is very helpful in regard to giving information, however, the breakfast was dissapointing and did not merit the >9 rating of the place. Great Hotel, Perfect Location and Amazing Staff
The hotel is new and very clean. The location is great. Only two tramway stops from the town's main bazaar and the clock tower. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the historical elevator (TARIHI ASANSOR) which is perfect for sunset photoshoots. The view from breakfast room is amazing. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They treated us like their family. I would like to thank Ms. Sevgi, Ms. Aycan, Mr. Turkay, Mr. Hassan and Mr. Emre for their hospitality. I will definitley stay in The Yali Konak Hotel when I travel to Izmir again.

The staff were awesome. Very nice demeanour . Rooms were clean. Location was easy and view was of water. The room does have car noise from highway out the front but this was not to bad for us as we liked the water views. There are rooms with city view and these would be quieter.

Eine Freundin von mir wollte mich spontan überraschen und kam für wenige Minuten vorbei, um mir lediglich „Hallo“ zu sagen. Sie meldete sich an der Rezeption, um korrekt Bescheid zu geben, und erklärte, dass sie nur kurz hochkommen möchte. Stattdessen wurde ich von der Rezeption angerufen und mir wurde in einem extrem unangenehmen Ton mitgeteilt, dass für ihren kurzen Besuch ein „Extra-Preis“ verlangt wird.
Damit nicht genug – die Art und Weise, wie das Personal dies kommuniziert hat, war beleidigend und respektlos. Es vermittelte den Eindruck, als würde man meiner Freundin eine vollkommen unangebrachte und abwertende Rolle unterstellen. Eine Person, die lediglich 5 Minuten zu Besuch kommen möchte, auf diese Weise zu behandeln, ist inakzeptabel.
Ich habe die Situation sofort abgebrochen, wir haben das Hotel verlassen und sind woanders hingegangen. Diese Art von respektlosem und anstößigem Verhalten gegenüber Gästen ist in keinem Hotel der Welt tragbar.
