The bathroom was starting to flood from the shower so i took out the plug to be greeted by a plug hole full of hair .which i cleaned out . please see attached picture. The breakfast was bacon that looked raw, Mushrooms that had been boiled to with an inch disintegration. When i complained didn't even get offered a refund Just i will let my manager know

The room was very clean and the hotel was very nice as well. However the room upstairs was very loud, from the time we walked into the hotel room to the next day on check out, it continued to bang, shouting, it was just like someone coming through the ceiling.

Beds are comfy and a lovely big tv, staff on check in were nice. Rooms could do with a spruce up now; broken toilet seat, bit of black mould/mildew in shower, some toiletries were empty and the table lamps which used to match are a now mismatch and a bit on the rickety side. Other than that it was a pleasant enough stay as it always is, just could be better with a few tweaks and an aggressive maintenance regime in my opinion.

The constant noise from the pipe work just outside your room is just to much I have stayed in a twin, double and club room this that this would get me a better position in the hotel well it did not the noise it to much. One towel in a twin room no phone to call down so you would have to walk and get another one, the cleaner is obvisiolousy short as I can see her swip marks from cleaning the shower, tiny hairs in sink, Nice bar area and pool.

I’ve stayed a lot of times here, a few weeks or months between, it’s always a pleasant stay but as always the bar service needs to speed up and the condition of fixtures & fittings are tiring and need sprucing up.
The food on this occasion was poor, I had gammon and eggs, all over cooked and the quality wasn’t what it was for the price they charge! The place has gone from actively look to book here to may or may not stay here again, which is a shame.

My plan was to arrive early and use the gym and pool facilities before I checked in. I called on the morning of my arrival to check the fee for this, but was informed that these facilities are not available until after check in. I have never come across this before and it forced me to change my plans. Then when I arrived and went to my room I found a huge hair plastered to the shower screen, so the standards of cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. I have photographic evidence of this! On the positive side the reception staff were friendly, helpful and professional.

Short stay at the village hotel was pleasant. The Club room had nespresso machine and drink facilities. Shower was good but a little on the lower end of water pressure.
Bed was firm but comfortable. I wasn’t a massive fan of the striped colour scheme but not an issue for a brief hotel stay.
Breafast wasn’t bad. Service was polite and friendly. It’s all self serve buffet which is all good but selection was a little bit limited to full English staples, though only dry scrambled eggs available as the egg option which was surprising.
The gym and pool facilities are very good.
Location is close to the motorway which is convenient when on a road trip. A £9 cab trip into Maidstone town. Parking was free at the weekend which was convenient.
I’d stay again for a budget stay when visiting Maidstone area

Pity the breakfast is on the poor side. Nothing worse than powered scrambled eggs that need a steak knife to cut.

My room was very noisey, the room was also very hot, the fans were useless and couldn’t have the windows open due to cigarette smoke coming in as my room overlooked the smoking area outside. The room above me had the loudest squeaky floor which kept me awake, had to change rooms at around midnight which isn’t ideal when you are up very early next morning with a long drive home.

Smells or mould in the corridors. Dead cockroach in the corridor.
All the white towels had stains on.
The blinds covering the utterly abysmal view fell off.
Supplementary toiletry bottles empty.
Staff advised we could swim but was turned away by the gym organisation who run the
pool because I was with child.
Absolutely appalling value for money. Would never recommend to anyone.

Disappointing visit with a cold shower.

Disappointing visit. Checked in and noticed the hotel was run down but was hopeful because of the brand. There was no hot water in the morning and had to take a cold shower. Made a complaint before checking out and up months later nothing has been done about it. Made contact again and I’ve been ignored.

In the 21st century this hotel has no air conditioning whatsoever. The poor fans they supply are on a timer so you wake up every couple of hours. There is not even central heating, just electric fires in the room.
The team here are very pleasant otherwise I would have had to leave a one. You will note I have stated in 100s of hotels but this one takes the biscuit.

The hotel is in a nice location but the conditions and services would need to tmprove. There should be air-conditioning and there should be a refrigerator in the room. Dining wise, they could improve efficiency by getting guests to get their own utensils and bringing used plates back to central location which is the practice in many hotels in their restaurants. Breakfast time should be consistent everyday and not change on weekends which cause confusion. Many restaurants provide coffee especially when they are open late for breakfast.

Because of the heatwave the hotel room was too hot . Even with the fans which weren't sufficient as the cable was too far from the bed to feel the benefit. Most village hotels or holiday inns now have air con in the rooms they should keep up to date

The property was easy to get to via cab, I would not advise you to try and walk it as the road gets busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was large and spacious, only thing I didnt like was the room had no AC, but a Dyson fan was in full use.
The room had no fridge to put your water or drinks, no complementary biscuits, or herbal teas.
Other wise I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Great location, very friendly, approachable and helpful staff, food is fairly decent (room service) and room is nice. Great there’s a Starbucks in the hotel too. Plenty of parking also and the pool is pleasant.

Bed wasn’t that comfy and hotel is noisy. No air con so room was very warm however fans were provided thankfully it wasn’t too warm when I stayed however staying on a hot night would be unbearable.

I got a good price for what I needed so am pleased with that but probably wouldn’t stay again.

the stay was very pleasant, with the room being spacious enough for 2 in a twin room. The beds were comfy, however there wasn't AC in the room, which made it quite stuffy and very warm, there were 2 upright fans in the room but were quite noisy to have on all night. Also, the carpet floor, especially under the edge of the beds was very grubby, with toe nail clippings still on the floor from presumably another guest.
Outside of this, the hotel itself is very nice, the gym & swim facilities are very good, especially the pool & steam room, the changing area is also very clean and tidy.

My stay here on a recent business trip was excellent value for money. I paid a little extra for a club room so I could use the gym facilities which was well stocked and clean.

I had a decent meal the night before (nourish bowl), although the bar was slightly noisy it was still laid back and service was good. Breakfast was good quality with plenty on offer, I had a small cooked breakfast and a yoghurt with fruit.

The room was clean, tidy with a good shower and a good quality bed. Despite my room being directly located off the staircore I had a good nights sleep with no noise projecting from above/below or via the corridor. The bed was comfortable with a medium mattress and pillows.

Overall a very good stay especially for the money and all topped off with a Starbucks to go in the morning.

I was staying for 1 night for a business trip, upon arrival the hotel is very big and even on a Thursday afternoon the carpark was very busy.

The staff that greeted me were lovely, the hotel definitely has a young vibe and had a \"vibrant\" mix of clientele.

One negative is the extra charges for Parking and use of the Swimming Pool which is a shame especially use of the pool when you are a staying guest.

Room was clean but no air con and could need a lick of paint in areas.

Walking down the corridor to my room, there was a lot of noise and loud music from various rooms but it didn't affect my sleep as I was at the back of the hotel.

Breakfast is pricey for whats on offer too.

I can not fault the staff but there are a few things to improve on, however its ok for a quick one night stay

The room is lacking a main light rather than spot lights.
The room was facing a massive duct of some sort and this is very noisy so cannot open the window and the dyson cooler is rubbish would have been better of with a fan
Because you have opted for dark colours in the bathroom its alway look dirty/ dusty and water marked.
Swimming pool is lovely especially in the evening when the lights go off very spa like.

Upgraded to a club room as i found out I had to pay for parking amd wanted access to the gym. Annoyingly this was facing the extremely busy road meaning i couldn't have the window open. The room was hot and i quickly saw why the room had two fans.
All disabled bays out the front were taken whe. I arrived, but walking along only 2 cars had badges, so this is not enforced by the hotel. The gym and pool were good, but so busy it was overwhelming. Sauna was too small for a pool area so big.
Bed was comfortable, pressure and temperature of shower was not very good. I didnt eat in the restaurant as it is very overpriced for what you get.

The stay was very good we had a late night Saturday so we paid £15 extra for late check out. Our check out time was at 13.00 instead of 11.00 am. At 11.00 am we had cleaners come knocking and came into the room and woke us up even though we paid for late check out which we didnt expect at all. We paid extra so we didn’t have to leave at 11am or wake up at 11am very disappointing

I had booked 1 night, but ended up staying for 3 as work plans changed.

I often stay here as it's consistent and has a great bed and i like the gym and pool, but a few things do bother me when i stay...service is ok, but know one really seems happy to be there, sometimes it's like an inconvenience to have to attend and awareness of customers lacks a lot. A welcoming smile wouldn't hurt sometimes.

For my 2nd day the bed was made, but tea/milk etc weren't checked or changed and the 3rd day...bed was not made and still not refresh of the tea tray so no tea for me 2 days running despite being asked at reception when I mentioned that i had extended my stay..and still either the message didnt get through or someone just didn't care. Shower throughout my day also had poor pressure which isn't usually the case so it was not the greatest experience on this occasion.

I find the food pretty poor and never enough options. One night i had room service and food was cold..drink forgotten, plus quite expensive for the whole experience really and charge a tray charge on top.

I shall rethink if I stay here in future.
