Third time staying here due to the positive previous experiences. The positive streak continued with a great room featuring a fantastic air-conditioning unit which kept me cool in the June heat. A wonderful workout ensued in their very well-equipped gym set up. This was followed by a powerful shower and I went to dine nearby. Had a great night's sleep before a well-cooked breakfast got my day started perfectly. Can't wait to come back.

The lodge has good rooms with baths, suitable for business travel, or golf days away. The food in the restaurant is pretty good, and all the staff are helpful and attentive. I also used the gym, which has plenty of well-maintained machines and weights.

This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. Parking is really convenient. It was a great room with lovely air-conditioning which was required for such a warm, April day. I had a great workout in the well-equipped gym. This was followed with a shower that I had to turn down the pressure on which was a first. There were plenty of dining options nearby and I eventually settled down for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was flawless and I was fully prepared for the work day ahead. Fantastic place.

Everyone employee we met, was welcoming, helpful, and looked like they enjoyed working here. Rooms are perfectly adequate and comfy for a short stay, walls a little thin.

A Hole in One

Situated within picturesque scenery which instantly relaxes the visitor. The parking area was substantial with spaces very close to the accommodation. I had a lovely ground floor room with air conditioning which was required on such a warm, humid day. I took full advantage of the gym set up they had on site which provided enough equipment to take care of my cardio and weights needs. I explored nearby Maidstone for dining options after refreshing myself under a very powerful shower. A very good night's sleep was obtained which led on to a well=cooked breakfast to start the day off just right. All in all, I was extremely satisfied with my stay here and would pro-actively look to stay here again when in the area.

The overall view is a large lavish hotel but our room was tired and old fashioned. The breakfast was nice and the staff friendly. I had an issue with the electric so couldn’t use my hair styler and they sorted it pretty quickly for me.

Really nice hotel and Golf club. I only managed to get a twin room booked but this didnt rely bother me as i was on my own anyway.

We arrived at 6pm and after waiting for 5 mins at the reception desk we went into the Bar for help which arrived quickly.
Our room in the Lodge was about 2 mins walk from reception and was clean and had all you would expect for an overnight stay.
Back to the bar for a drink and then a very nice meal. Diego was a star during all of above.
Room comfortable and the breakfast the following morning superb.
Very reasonable cost for our stay.
The golf course looked very good as well.

Really liked the Hotel, a few clientele spoiled it

Decent Budget Business Trip. Decent Room and Facilities, Good Food, Good Selection of Drink. Did everything it was supposed to do. Only issue was at the time of my visit there seemed to be a large number of trades men staying on site. This resulted in late night noise as they banged and shouted their way through the halls and in to their rooms only then to continue to make noise until past 1. The hotel is a separate complex away from the main reception and restaurant. Perhaps I was unlucky on the night.

A lovely setting. We stayed in the Lodge which is set a little way from the Golf
Clubhouse where Reception and the Restaurant are to be found. The room was comfortable, very clean and well equipped.
Despite being very busy with a Club function taking place, the restaurant staff provided good service and excellent meals.

We stayed for 2 nights in a lodge room. Nice peaceful setting, quite easy to find. We arrived at 8pm having booked a table for dinner at 8.30pm, we were the only guests eating in the restaurant at that time. Dinner we opted for fish and chips and a halloumi burger, very nice quality of food. Our visit was in order to visit Leeds Castle which was just a 10 minute drive from the hotel so convenient. Cleanliness of the room was okay but not brilliant, dust in the skirting boards by the door and seemed not to have been hoovered very well. I only notice this because I struggle with using seated mirrors so used the full length one on the back of the door. Bathroom, again clean enough but little things obviously gone unnoticed like residue in the bath/shower. Overall our stay was good and was suitable for what we needed.

Lovely quiet spacious room. Great breakfast choice and quality. Only rated 3 star and could easily achieve 4 star with a little more attention to cleanliness of room which was below average. Kettle was dirty and full of stagnant water and I ended up with a ladies stud earring in my teacup which had somehow ended up in the kettle. Dust on some surfaces. Shower not clean.

Stayed in a twin room in 'The lodge'. Very tired interior and cold- there didn't seem to be any heating and the building is a 5 minute walk outside from the reception/ restaurant etc. Cleanliness pretty disappointing with some grim looking stains.
I booked for two nights around a week in advance- usually I would pay through hotels.com so they can handle payment and cancellation terms/ admin is straightforward. The hotel rejected that and said I had to pay at the venue, so I accepted that. My plans then changed (as they often do with work stays) and so I needed to cancel the second night- I notified the reception of this when I arrived and asked to just have the one night stay instead. They said I had to pay for both nights anyway and then recover the money from Hotels.com. Hotels.com app didn't allow for cancellation as the stay had already begun at this point, so couldn't proceed. I checked out the following morning as expected, and the staff then told me that I was outside the cancellation policy and could no longer even get a refund through Hotels.com. None of this seems remotely necessary to me- I hadn't paid anything before arriving and they insisted I paid for two nights simply because it had been booked that way. Pretty officious and poor customer service if you ask me. I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend. Not really sure what's so difficult about being flexible and trying to help.
The restaurant's fairly nice though...

Accommodation is good. Well laid out with everything you need. Rooms are a little small which may bother some but I found it no problem. Being a golf hotel I can’t see many folk staying more than 2-3 nights unless for an event at the club. Evening meal in the restaurant was excellent and breakfast was lovely too. every member of staff was brilliant. They were busy as it is a golf course but I was was always served by friendly staff who could not have been more helpful. This goes for the manager who checked me in as well. All in all a great stay and would stay again. Thank you to all the staff.

The staff are all fantastic. Nothing is too much to ask. You are so warmly welcomed. Food at the hotel is definitely worth having. A glad of wine in the outdoor area just listening to the trees and the wildlife, so nice from the hustle and bustle of city life. Highly recommend to anyone who need a break from the normal.

If you like golf, or a gym it's good. Otherwise paper thin walls and bit deteriorated in places take the shine off. Extractor in bathroom not working. Reported first day and not fixed. Shower bracket broken so could only use hand held. Good view from upstairs room of dump site for broken furniture.

A handily sized attractive Kentish-looking building housing comfortable hotel rooms. So nice being able to open the windows pretty wide (unusual these days!) and to wake up to the sound of birdsong and a lovely green view. Bed and bedding all fine - slept well. Bathroom fine - at first was not certain about the shorter P-shaped bath but it was extremely comfortable. As ever, so glad to have a kettle for making coffee etc and a desk and chair.

Lovely stay, hotel staff very friendly and prior to our trip had very good communication and answered any questions we had promptly.
The room we had was large and there was air con which was lovely! The bathroom a tiny bit aged but it done the job, everything appeared nice and clean!

The only problem we did find was that breakfast was advertised between 7 and half 10, we came down at 9am which is lucky we did as the bar staff packed the breakfast away by half 9. There was no directions as to whether we seat ourselves and had to call a waitress over to get us a pot of tea but she seemed confused we even asked?
I'm not sure if that's the norm though as unfortunately for the hotel the WiFi and Phone lines had gone down in the area so maybe they were preoccupied.

Aside from that feedback we had a lovely stay and when we did ever speak to staff they were always approachable and had a smile!

Lovely hotel. Exceptionally clean. Lovely surroundings, quiet, golf course. Friendly polite helpful staff. Very good value for the high quality, service and comfort. Excellent breakfast. One very small irritation. Internet sigh-on required a mobile phone number with permission to then send you advertising material. Even with this it wouldn't take my (Canadian) mobile phone number. However this problem strangely went away the next morning and I found myself signed in.. can't explain this and quite accept it may have been my own fault. Summery: Lovely hotel in all aspects. Great value and would (and will I hope) definitely return

A pleasant surprise all round

Busy golf club and wedding venue but annex at rear was quiet, and rooms were pretty-well what to expect in terms of comfort and cleanliness. Upon opening the door, there was a petty annoying pungent farm yard smell in the room (but not the bathroom) which we got used to after opening the windows wide and 'borrowing' the corridor air freshener. The aircon made a big difference in comfort too. Breakfast was remarkable and far better than anticipated. Will be back

Wouldn’t recommend

Check-in took too long. Especially when the check-in desk could see the long queue. They were chatting away about everything with no sense of urgency or respect for the time of the guests in the queue.

Housekeeping is useless. I had a medical emergency and there was no cellular reception from my room to call for help so I asked a cleaner for help and all she said was I don’t know I’m new.

I had to hobble around looking for help and finally found the phone to call reception and a lovely lady came.

Spent the night there as we were visiting a local attraction. We booked a lodge for the night and received a very nice welcome from the lady on reception who was very helpful and friendly. Once we got to our room we had a slight problem as I need to have a plug near the bed for medical reasons, when we approached the nice lady at reception and explained she immediately looked at changing our room to one suitable and even took us to the room for us to check. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and even joined in with some banter. Would definately stay again.

Lovely staff with great communication throughout the booking. Location was easy to find with the bonus of onsite parking.
