We had an outstanding stay at the Orida Hotel. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly special. For our son’s birthday, they surprised us with a banner on our door, balloons, and even a cake such a thoughtful touch!
Everything was spotlessly clean, and all the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool was excellent and a real highlight for our family. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge variety of options to choose from.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend staying here! Thank your Orida and your wonderful team!

It's a tired hotel, the pool/spa is the allure for both adults and children but it wasn't all open and often busy with both hotel guests and private members, and we had to queue to get in on one occasion. Also be warned that there are no lifts, so if you're on the first floor you'll be lugging suitcases up the stairs... Staff are pleasant and welcoming but also uninterested in any real issues or concerns (we have two small children, checked in early, and asked to be ground floor closish to the spa - and were declined, probably because of booking through hotels.com). We enjoyed our stay overall despite this, hence the 3 stars as an average review. Restaurant is average but expensive, and top tip you can order it all in the bar without the service charge (which probably doesn't get paid to the hotel staff either).

The receptionist was excellent and check-in was swift. The bathroom however left a lot to be desired. It is in desperate need of refurbishment, the sink bowl was very badly cracked and chipped. The bath plug hole looked disgusting. The finishes around the bath were cracked and looked dirty. The bedroom itself which was the junior was especially cold, even with the heater on. On the plus side, the mattress was very comfortable and the sheets very clean. We had use of the swimming pool, steam room and jacuzzi, all very enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent and there was a lot of choice.

We will stick with our usual hotel: Delta hotels Tudor park.

On this hotel:
We asked for a baby cot. They gave it to us without a mattress and said they don’t provide any?? Excuse me???? How is my 1 year old going to sleep?
£20 extra pay to check in early (never heard of this)
£6 for parking (other places offer for free)
£3 per a toothbrush (which every hotel gives for free)
When I called earlier in the day around 10/11am on the 11th January, the lady picked up with “yea hello” poor customer service skills. Asks for my name, I give her my name and she says, no I want your last name.

I hope calls are recorded and she is retrained.

Disappointed is the best I can say.Jacuzzi and steam room didn't work for 2 out the 4 days we stayed.Heater in the room didn't work on the last day and enquired 3 times .When I asked for a electric heater that was in the bar area I was told that I can come over to get it when they're close at 23:00.That was unacceptable to me and I don't think we're going to stay there again,bear in mind that we stayed 3 times over the years.

At check-in, I was provided with a leaflet clearly stating that breakfast would be served until 11:00 a.m. on bank holidays. Based on this information, we attended breakfast accordingly. However, breakfast service was closed at 10:00 a.m., and food was actively being taken away while we were in the process of serving ourselves. This was both embarrassing and extremely frustrating.
When we raised this issue, the situation was handled poorly by staff, who were rude and dismissive. Most concerning was the response from the Food & Beverage Manager, who argued that the 26th was not a bank holiday, rather than acknowledging the misleading information provided by the hotel. At no point was an apology offered for the incorrect information or for the manner in which the situation was handled.
Providing inaccurate information at check-in and then disputing responsibility when guests rely on it falls well below the standard of service I would expect. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy shown only added to the disappointment.
I would appreciate this matter being reviewed seriously and would expect an explanation, along with appropriate steps taken to prevent this from happening again.

The room was nice and big and was cleaned well, however beds a bit hard, and sink needs renewing. Breakfast was lovely, we also had an afternoon tea which was nice. We used the hotel spa facilities which were not the best but acceptable for the price. the cleaning of the spa area however could be improved. We enjoyed a treatment in the spa which was very good, and staff in the health club very friendly and helpful.

Everything about this hotel is dissapointing, firstly this hotel is filthy - stairwells, carpets, rooms, you name it, it's filthy.

Checkout is 12pm, so why are cleaning staff banging on my door at 9am to clean my room, there's a hangar on the door saying do not disturb, bang on the door at 12pm if I haven't left, but not before.

£6 for parking is a *iss take, parking should be free, this is just a money making scam.

Reception staff are as miserable AF, if you don't want to be polite go and get another job.

Hated this place and everything about it.
