The carpet in the room was worn through in places, the window didn't seal properly so there was a cold draft most of the night (while it was -2° outside) and my bathroom smelt of urine even though it had been cleaned (even more so when i swithed the heated towel rail on) and the shower head had a lot of limescale on it.
All in all you can see they really make an effort here even if the company won't spent money to fix the place up.

You get what you expect for the price you pay. Staff were friendly enough. Bed was comfortable. Room was generally clean, albeit very tired looking. Strong smell of cigarettes in the room was the main downer, although a reasonable effort was made to get rid of it. Lights worked. TV worked. Coffee, tea and biscuits available. No sockets by the bed - a sign of how old the hotel is.

I do understand people eat in their rooms But it could have been freshened up before the next people take on the room, especially if the reception area smells so good , and unfortunately , there was no shower gel or soap in the bathroom and I only realised this when I was under the shower so it would be nice if the people in Charge of The rooms could keep an eye on the show a dispenser As well.

Now for the best part the bathroom that’s not had any update since the building was built.

The toilet seat moves around from years or use.
The bath has a disgusting mat in the bottom nice and hygienic at this point I decided I would not be using the bath just sleep and get out.
At about 11pm the bath waste started overflowing raw S*** coming up from the plug. No I did not inform anyone the last thing I needed at that time of night is more fuss. Room21 for your records.
I will never return and tbh I will never stay in another one of these squats.
Best course of action would be knock the place down at what point do owners decide to refurb there buildings. Yes it’s not the most expensive but for what you get it’s still not worth that a night in the car park is all it should have cost.
So when you read it comes with a bath I don’t agree it’s not usable. If this is your last option sleep in your car.

I will never return and tbh I will never stay in another one of these squats.
Best course of action would be knock the place down at what point do owners decide to refurb there buildings. Yes it’s not the most expensive but for what you get it’s still not worth that a night in the car park is all it should have cost.
So when you read it comes with a bath I don’t agree it’s not usable. If this is your last option sleep in your car.

First non smoking family room stank of smoke. No other family rooms available so split overvtwo twins, one of which hadca faulty shower which flooded bathroom. We were only there to sleep really, so not great to have to chase around twice. Staff were as helpful as possible, but hotel quality was lacking.

Constant banging of doors and noisy guest's arriving without consideration of others staying in the hotel. Dirty bathroom. Rusty towel rail and bin along with long term soap scum deposits. No free WiFi as stated by hotel. The room is dated and much in need of an update. I no the hotel is a budget chain, but doesn't have to be bargain basement. Better go to a travel lodge.

Only downside is the poor service area next door. OK if you like McDonalds - only offering in the evening. Even Costa closes around 1800. Good value for money though. Recommended

Unfortunately the dining facilities were limited at the time of our stay. The only places available in the immediate vicinity of the hotel were McDonald’s and Subway and a Marks & Spencer’s food outlet. So we had to make do with a sandwich for breakfast.

This hotel is located at Maidstone services, so it is quite convenient if you are heading down towards the Channel Tunnel or Dover. Unfortunately, that is the only thing it has going for it. This hotel is an utter disgrace and should be avoided like a dose of weaponized plague! The rooms are filthy and extremely tatty. The bathroom smelled of rancid urine and the bedroom had the aroma of an old ashtray from a 1970s working men’s club. This is the sort of place that you don’t walk around in with bare feet, for fear of absorbing some sort of body-infesting parasite through the soles of your feet! I could go on about the stains, pubic hairs, flesh-searing shower, inoperative TV and disinterested staff, but it’s quicker to just say, DON’T STAY HERE…EVER!!

Stayed here for a night with my partner and cat after relocating to the uk. the room was.....subpar. There was dirt and grime in the shower that made me after almost 24h of traveling not wanting a shower. Felt like you checked into a locked facility rather than a hotel. Had a ridicolous amount of warning signs about the same thing, like shower is slippery, towelrod is hot. not just one of each, multiple. It was a bed for the night, but we decided to leave early in the morning to get home to our own bed and shower. The one plus, the room was big so my cat could stretch her legs after a long day of travel.

It's a 3 star hotel in a motorway service station. What do you expect? The rooms are bigger than you would expect and the beds are large and comfortable. The thing that sets this place above all other average places are the staff. They are all wonderful! I've stayed here many times because of them. Mark, Sharron, Kerry, Lisa, Tara, are all ones that deserve an extra mention. Sorry to anyone I forgot but all deserve a massive pat on the back. The whole place needs a refurb but the staff carry the experience over the crap paint and enamel. Really nice people who need to be recognised. PLEASE GIVE THEM AT LEAST A THANK YOU!!!!
