Check in was poor. Bad communication and manager was so rude!

The chap at reception (who couldn't speak English at all) had to call the manager as me and my husband had been allocated a twin bed room (2 single beds). The Print House had confirmed by email a double bed room on the third floor back on 23rd June 2024.

The manager was argumentative and eventually agreed to give a different room the day after. This was only when a picture message from my phone was sent to him as proof.

No room was given the next day.

Just based of the service and tone of the manager. I would not stay here again!

The Print House is a fine place to stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's small, just six rooms (a mix of single and double rooms). The two rooms that I saw had A/C. Comfortable beds and good linens. The rooms have refrigerators and water kettles but no safes. All the rooms use the same key and there are no in-room safes.

The location is great, 5 mins or less to Aya Sophia and Topkapi. The hotel has no parking but there are a couple of pay lots for parking nearby.

Breakfast is generous but doesn't start until 9am. If you're a morning person you can get in a walk before you eat.

Jacob on the front was very personable and helpful. He made breakfast in the morning for guests. Very good chef 👨‍🍳! A really hard working guy!

⛔️ HEALTH HAZARD . Air conditioning unit barely worked, a moldy smell coming from it ,when it did it work only added to the stench. Opened the window for ventilation. Mold in the shower was alarming❗️ first night no hot water, no instructions for the breakfast in another hotel up the street . Internet was impossible to sign on to... could the modem have been off ? Then turned on when I mentioned it? It worked fine after I mentioned the difficulty.. The girl who checked us in helped with luggage and showed us how to get to museum. She did her best in a very difficult situation , she didn’t feel well ..... could it be the moldy environment she’s working in ? she apologized numerous times for all the things she had absolutely no control over . Mentioning the moldy environment concerns to her wold have been futile and out of her scope of responsibilities., the mold issues are the building owners responsibility . This forum is more appropriate hopefully concerns reach the responsible person. . This hotel should not be represented by Expedia ❌🚱 on a positive note
The bed and dressing area were clean.

When I arrived at the hotel they said that the hotel is fully booked, although I booked more than one month in advance, they offered other rooms at another hotel which are one of the worst I have seen. The hotel has a change of management and definitely a change of quality. If you want to not get the rooms you booked then go ahead.

Nice hotel with friendly staff at good price

The hotel was cheap and equivalent to some hostels in the area. The hotel however was nice, the room was spacious, the staff were friendly.

My partner and I enjoyed staying in this hotel; we booked it for three times cuz could n't find any other option with same budget
The rooms are clean and tidy, the room effects are almost new

Hotel has good and spacious rooms. It is a small hotel but still the rooms are of good size and you don't get bothered by sounds from next room.
We had a city view room but it was on 4th floor and there was no elevator so it was a tough thing especially while carrying luggage or shopping bags. Would not recommend upper floor rooms for elderly people.
Breakfast was poor. On both days of our stay, the cooking lady told us that eggs are finished and we had to eat just cold bread with butter and coffee. There were very few things for breakfast and only one type of juice.
The staff is good though.

A great boutique hotel !

We enjoyed a lovely stay at the relatively new Print House Hotel in Istanbul. This is a very fine boutique family run hotel with wonderful service and assistance with our needs as well as numerous requests for tourist information, directions and good overall advice. Although there are some steps to negotiate in the hotel, the quiet rooms and special little breakfast area made the week long experience. We must say as well, that the owner and operator was very kind and professional. We enjoyed working with her and had a special added bonus of meeting her father, who was equally charming !
If you want a small family hotel experience in Istanbul you should consider the Print House !

Nice, Clean, Perfect location

I like this hotel. It is small, but has large and comfortable rooms. Very clean, nice and modern.
Actually all rooms are same: quite large, new and nice (only one room is located on low ground floor).

Hotel location is perfect. From one side there is tram station and from another side Sultan Ahmed area.
The breakfast is normal. The area around is so quite and calm.

The hotel manager and all stuff is so kind and helpful.
Next time I will stay in this hotel with pleasure.

Nice rooms, super perfect location, the stuff was so friendly and helpful with everythind we needed, we definetely stay there again in our next trip to Constantinople!
