Told the place was closing at 6pm, but no one was there at 5:50 when we arrived, but could access the room. Dinner booked on line was then not available as the staff had left for the day - no notice of this 😡 until someone rang to see what time we were arriving.
Breakfast was not well organised and the earliest time had been changed to 9:00am - it was 9:45 before we were served due to the queueing system and residents not being served first. We were then charged for a breakfast which was included in our booking as room numbers were not asked for. Might stop again if certain small issues were addressed. We were informed upon check-in that the heating wasn't working and were offered a free breakfast (which we'd already pre-paid for) and were told that would be refunded but that wasn't mentioned again.

Don't stay on a Thursday the noise from the pub quiz is dreadful. No idea why the person doing quiz needs to be so loud that conversation in the pub is impossible.
The rooms are basic - okay for one night. We have stayed here 4 times before as the location is perfect for us, the rooms have always been clean but on this occasion the bathroom was not properly cleaned and had hairs in sink on on toilet seat. The communal areas were also grubby and not clean

Clean, quite lovely staff and good food. The corner on the mirror shelf in the bedroom fell off. Just needs to be glued back on. The lights in the bathroom was flickering all the time not good for elderly or someone with epilepsy. Just sort these two things out. Everything else was great.

We had a great time here. I messaged the hotel about my wife struggling to use stairs and they gave us a disabled room with a wetroom. I also mentioned that my lovely wife was coeliac and we found a gf menu waiting for us in our room.

We had a lovely one-night stay at The Crown in Droitwich! The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. It was a pleasant surprise to find such a well-kept and peaceful place at such a reasonable price, especially during the summer season.
The staff were welcoming and polite, and check-in was smooth. The location is ideal easy to find with free parking.

I like this place as there are rooms on the ground flour and there are 2 car parks. The room given to us was a family room and it was very spacious. The room was clean and plenty of lights. Convenient for my husband as he has reduced mobility. And you could eat in as there is pub and restaurant.

Clean, staff friendly. Perfectly fine except the thermostat on the radiator was broken and it blasted out heat all night. The only windows were high skylights and either it wasnt clear how to open them or they didnt really open. So unbearably hot all night. There was a tall fan which I had on all night so it seems the issue is known but not fixed. But for this I would have given 5 stars all round. No lift but thats normal. Suggested small improvement - some decaff tea in the room and some oat milk sachets but I dont know any hotel that provides these. Nice hotel, shame about the thermostat.

The condition of the room was very poor, huge patches of paint cracked and missing. Cracked plaster and damaged, exposed wood. I was woken at 06.00 every morning by moving cages or something.
The worst part after the awful condition of the room was I felt quite unsafe.. Access to the hotel was via a side door unlocked, directly into the accommodation off a residential street.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfy this hotel was, needed a low cost last minute night. Free parking, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfy, tv had good selection of channels including Disney plus and Netflix, which was great for us as there was a bad storm at the time. We ate in the restaurant and food was served quickly and was perfect temperature and well presented, we had no disturbances during the night. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be booking again, I have stayed in many hotels in this area, some 3x the price, this one is by far the best value for money.

We had a good stay - the king bed was excellent so we slept well. The room appeared fairly recently decorated. The bathroom was showing its age but still acceptable. The shower tended too much towards a dribble rather than a decent spray. Good quality towels were an important bonus as was a heated towel rail that worked well. The staff were universally friendly and efficient.

Would have been great but the whole experience was ruined by our room. It was airless and hot (we measured at 30 degrees) even after opening the roof windows it didn’t improve much. The fan was noisy and didn’t help. Made even worse as no curtains over the windows so we were woken up when it went light. I wouldn’t stay here again which is a shame as the location and everything else was good.

The hotel is very tired. The soap dispenser had fallen off the wall in accessible bathroom, hard for some to use. We stayed in a family room, but the sofa bed was not made up. The staff were helpful and came straight away to rectify. Access to the rooms is not accessible to someone in a wheelchair, although there’s a ramp and the back of the hotel, there’s a step up to it! Similar price as other Marstons rooms, but way substandard. If the bathroom door was open, you couldn’t get into the room.

Kitchen Extractor ducting runs past the window. The window only opens a couple of inches and the room was unbearably hot. There was a plug in fan but this just circulated the hot air.
There was only 1 towel and we did not notice this until late.
Breakfast, they were mopping the floor when we arrived, the water heater was broken so no coffee available and the gluten free toast and eggs were inedible sadly.

The rooms hot water boiler broke down but we have to say that the Manager and Assistant Manager gave us options of another Hotel or an evening meal so we stayed and the food was good. It was only a stopover on our way south and we would stay there again as it is so close to the M5 motorway.

The room was not clean when we arrived but the manager attended to this and apologised. In the end she did everything she could to make us feel happier. The real issue is if the room we stayed in was the general standard for all rooms then they are not good enough. The place needs a revamp to be more in line with what the modern day traveller expects.

Bathroom was clean and relatively new - shower power not great but was sufficient. We bought both dinner and breakfast in the pub and both were very nice. I was welcomed to the hotel & checked in upon my arrival. It was a friendly welcome & good to see that I was in a clean & tidy hotel. My room was clean with adequate clean fluffy white towels, a desk with tea & coffee making facilities which included some very welcome biscuits.
WiFi was available in my room at no extra cost, most important & a decent sized tv.
A shower in the bath & shower cream plus more at the washbasin was much appreciated.
Overall, my stay was great & this hotel will be where I stay on my next visit to Worcestershire.
