Lovely end to our holiday

Stayed here at the end of our holiday. We had to check out of our apartment the day before we flew home so stayed here for one night.

2 bed apartment was very spacious, clean, well kitted out and nice balcony overlooking the golf course.

Pool was great and breakfast was fab. Gym was good too and handy free parking.

Would loved to have stayed for longer.

Only problem is that it's a bit further out from the nightlife at the marina.

The Residences apartments are good quality with large rooms and well equipped. We have stayed at the Victoria hotel before, but this was the first time in the Residences. The Residences are no longer associated with the hotel. The lack of a shuttle bus was our biggest disappointment as previously we got the shuttle into the marina and it adds €30 onto your nightly evening meal for taxis. There is a new Taverna Pizza restaurant just over the road which is very handy and we went there a couple of times. No local shops for groceries and it was 1.5km walk to the nearest supermarket. The pool was good and plenty of sun beds, but a bit chilly if you are a toe dipper! Overall it was very nice, but I think next time we would chose somewhere closer to the marina.

Nice place a few km's from Vilamoura. Car hire is essential. Apartments are lovely but starting to show their age.
Area is quiet - it's a few minutes drive to nearest shop. I enjoyed my visit and will stay again.

The property was incredibly spacious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, we were uncertain about the distance to the beach from the property. While they offered a free shuttle, if you plan to return earlier, you may need to rely on a cab or Uber. Despite this, we're eager to return and highly recommend this property to others.

The Residences at Victoria

The complex was super. We were out of season so it was very quiet but that suited us. From the start the whole experience was exceptional. The staff friendly, apartment luxurious, whole place absolutely spotless. Our rooms were cleaned everyday if we wanted. There was everything included to make this completely self catering if required. We really couldn’t have asked for more.

It was off season so most of the amenities in the property like Bar \ Restaurant \ Hot Tub \ Fitness centre etc. were closed. Expedia \ Hotel should make this clear to the guest while booking.
Parking was convenient.

Well equipped spacious 2 bedroom serviced apartment overlooking swimming pool. Allocated parking spaces in underground car park.In an nice area of mainly apartments next to the Anantara hotel and Victoria golf course.No restaurants or shopping close by and a short drive to the main marina area.l would say a car is needed although taxis/ubers available .One or 2 minor areas of wear and tear but in all another excellent stay

We had ant problems on our first floor suit and they moved us to the 4th floor and we had no further issues. The indoor pool was also great to get away from the intense sun at times. Fantastic place and our room overlooked part of the golf course which was an added bonus. The Outside pool was amazing and very clean. Little disappointed with the indoor pool as it is far too shallow for adults to swim in. The only other issue was the bar facilities of an evening. The outside bar closed at 7pm which was a shame as the weather would have allowed us to stay out drinking a lot later and the inside bar was also closed so our options were either drink at the sister hotel across the road or taxi some place else.

We love here, we have now stayed a few times and can’t wait to go back in August. It feels like our second home, the staff are very friendly and the apartment is prefect for a family. Well equipped and serviced every day. The kids club is brilliant, my two girls really loved it and the staff were very attentive to the girls. The food and the pool bar is fabulous, fresh and very tasty with a good choice of menu and brilliant staff always ready to help and have a very friendly manner. Can’t wait to return in August x

Great stay and hotel. Staff all very helpful and friendly. We liked secure feeling of key access to grounds due to 2 small children. 2 bed apartment of very high standard with excellent facilities. Location quiet and car was useful for transport with kids but easy access for taxi/ uber. Our second stay and would happily return. Really good.

Unfortunately, the apartment complex was too quiet - very few people staying there. It would have been nice if there was a store or supermarket nearby. Really, to stay here, you need a car.
Very good for our short beak in early February but I think it is not as suitable for families.

Fabulous apartment complex with pools, gym, snack bars etc plus the ability to use the pools & restaurant at the Anantara hotel next door & Tivoli Marina hotel in Vilamoura Marina, for 1/4 of the price of a stay in the Anantara! My brother & family stayed at the Anantara & his kids preferred our pool to theirs! Great bbq evening with live music during the week.

Very spacious , brilliant cooking facilities & loved the blackout blinds. Staff very nice & friendly . Ate lunch there once it was very nice. Had breakfast delivered to room one morn, it was only ok, but overpriced. It is quite far out so definitely recommend hiring a car.

Relaxing girls getaway

Had a fantastic stay, facilities were superb, our room had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Pool area was kept in immaculate condition. Lovely bonus to be able to use facilities at the sister hotel Anantara. Easy to get to marina at Vilamoura using the free shuttle bus, drivers were friendly and polite. Overall we had a relaxing long weekend and can't wait to come back

The quality and the cleanliness of the accommodation was outstanding.

We were a bit disappointed with the indoor pool which is very shallow (only point 9 meters); more a pool for children than for adults wanting to exercise and swim laps. Also the temperature was not warm enough.

Overall however, excellent place to stay.

Fantastic accommodation, everything perfect.

Everything in the apartment, from the high quality kitchen equipment and utensils, to the high thread count bed linen was perfect. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was bright and airy. I regularly stay in 5 star hotels in Europe and this was better than some hotel suites.
The pool area was relaxed and clean with plenty of beds, i think it helped being off peak because many guests were there for the golf and the only children were pre school and very few.
There is the hotel adjacent if you prefer to use more formal facilities, with further bars and restaurants. The reception staff are extremely friendly and are happy to try and fulfil any request.

A wonderful family complex

We stayed in the hotel apartments which had everything we needed. The rooms were lovely and spacious, enough room for the children to run around!
Staff were very helpful and always very quick to resolve issues. Parking was excellent.
The only issues would be that there was no hotel guide- a booklet that detailed facilities available and opening and closing times of restaurants, pool, even useful contact number. We were expected to remember the details relayed to us on our arrival or call up Reception.
Also only one person manning the pool bar, that same person was making the drinks as well as delivering the drinks, so drinks took a while to arrive.
Overall we have already recommended this hotel to friends and hope to return too.

Over Commercialised !

We have stayed here on 2 occasions previously and enjoyed our stays. Unfortunately we found on this visit that the Residences have become too Touristy. The complex now suffers the usual problem of sunbed reserving from 7am in the morning and the pool resembles at times a florida water park with oversized inflatables.
There is no management of the sun bed issues or to very late night partying in the pool and around the complex.
It's certainly not a relaxing out of town resort anymore which is a real shame.
No complaints with the staff at the piazza who were great especially Nuno and Bianca.
Housekeeping was not great and it was a shame that this was not rotated daily as we were always the last apartment to be visited, especially when there attendances we around 5pm
Courtesy buses to and from the marina was a much improved service and appreciated

Beautiful apartment but nothing close by

The apartments are immaculate and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are no restaurants/ supermarkets close by and the complex has a very limited cafe-bar menu . There is a free shuttle bus to the centre of Villamora but limited to specific times. A taxi cost around £12 Euros each way. I would recommend hiring a car.

Wonderful well equipped apartment including kitchen , ideal for family deciding to self cater, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, balcony overlooking golf course, drying area, excellent key card security arrangement., large lounge. Downside probably reliance on limited shuttlebus service being 4 miles from nearest supermarket if a car is not hired. Both outdoor and indoor swimming pools ( indoor pool heated). Pool side bars providing food and drink. Staff very friendly and, of course, speak excellent English. Operated by Tivoli Hotels who have 2 other hotels, the Anantara Hotel literally next door and theTivoli Marina Hotel in Vilamoura 4 miles away.

The residance are perfect for families.... Everything you need in your apartment. We did a online groceries shopping.... Which was delivered to the apartment as our flight was delayed. Good indoor pool and kids pool. The hotel next door hasa excellent kids club. Will be back soon thank you :)

Beautiful clean well equipped apartment.

Could not fault the apartment. The apartments are a fair bit away from the marina but a courtesy bus was provided which ran at regular intervals day and evening and took us into the Marina area.
Everywhere, inside and out, was spotless. Pool area was really nice and well maintained .
The only fault, as such, was there was no supermarket on site or very close to the site ... but maybe that's in the pipeline!

Stayed in deluxe apartment which was immaculately clean, spacious and well furnished. Very impressed with hotel and staff in general who were extremely friendly and polite and dealt with any issues efficiently.
Only complaint is that there was only one bar serving food which was outside and rather limited in choice. Also there is no shop on site or in walking distance where you can buy food and drink items if self catering. A box of basics is provided in each room but this is very limited and expensive.

Relaxed, great choice

This was our third time staying at the residences. Apartments are spacious and well equipped, pool area is lovely, and the staff are very helpful. Despite being a couple of miles away from the marina the free shuttle makes it easy to get to the beach and restaurants. Welcome box of food essentials and the ability to eat at the terrace or get room service or have shopping delivered means you have lots of options. We'll definitely go back!

Not able to use hotel facilities

It was really disappointing to learn on our arrival at The Residences that we were not able to use the facilities at the Tivoli Victoria Hotel. We holidayed at Tivoli Victoria Hotel in 2015 & 2016 and loved the service and facilities there. As there were 5 of us going to Portugal this year, we thought we would try a stay in one of The Residences suites instead of the main hotel. We went to specific lengths ahead of booking The Residences to check that we would still be able to use all the Hotel services. We were assured by email that this would be the case. It was therefore most unsatisfactory to be told upon arrival at check in at the Residences that we could not use the facilities at the main hotel.
