Loved the dance party and band on the night we checked in. Staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable and enjoyed the outdoor deck. Nice private location and easy to get to other towns in the region. Highly recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel, needs a bit of tidying up particularly around the pool area. The Junior suite bathroom is very small. All the staff were fantastic particularly the bar staff and Olga our room maid, she was great. Lunch meals by the pool were excellent and drinks were served by helpful happy staff.

It's a beautiful hotel, with a laid back feel and design. The gardens are carefully designed, planted and maintained. There's a lilypond with frogs! The staff are unerringly charming and helpful. The cocktails are top quality. It doesn't feel like an anonymous big chain hotel. Food - excellent. Only downsides...indoor pool is beautiful but jacuzzi and changing area need an upgrade. Some of the entertainment was local and impressive...the English duo were....more Butlins for me. But some guests enjoyed them. Overall a really lovely stay - recommend

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! After trying to find a safe, clean, and quiet hotel for a relaxing trip to Algarve- this was the perfect spot! The hotel front desk staff were super friendly, and went above and beyond with a warm welcome when we arrived late on the first night. The nightly events were fun, and the free buffet breakfast was great. The design and furniture was lovely, and our room was spacious and clean!

We stumbled upon this gorgeous resort quite by accident, after reading other reviews complaining that it was too quiet & perfect for retirees only. It was exactly what we were looking for! Many guests we encountered have been coming here every year for the last 5-10 years. Lovely, comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfast & dinner buffets, impeccable service. Free parking & a short walk to area restaurants & supermarket. Cut through neighbouring golf resort to access a gorgeous beach.

This place is excellent for a mid range hotel. It’s not 5 star but it doesn’t try to be. Very clean, nice rooms. Very quiet and restful as adults only. Great staff. Breakfast is great. Dining options are limited but the buffet is reasonably priced and good food. Great pool and 20 mins walk to the beach. Don’t try and rent a sun lounger from the PineCliffs hotel as they will charge you 250 euros. Walk further down the beach and you will get one for 14 unit need to get there before 11.

The front desk staff were very rude and not accomodating. Do not go to this resort unless you are 55 looking for complete silence during your stay. We were 6 couples who came to this adults only hotel looking to relax and unwind. They silenced us when we got together and did not allow us to play any music (during the day). They were nasty and rude. No one else complained except the staff. The music was not loud and was far away from others. The hotel is very pretty, clean, and the housekeeping staff as well as the dining room staff were great. It is unfortunate that the fromt desk staff and management are complete a******* Especially the guy with the ponytail. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a good time with their friends. It is for the elderly looking for complete silence in the pool area, lobby, and in their own rooms. If you want that type of vacation, this hotel is for you. If you prefer to be able to converse with friends in the lobby, enjoy music by the pool, or in your room while getting ready, do not come here. You will get shushed all day, every day like you are a child.

NO FUN ALLOWED! SILENCE! RETIREES ONLY!
The room was very hot. It took about 36 hours for the minibar to cool the drinks we had. Despite AC being on for 4 days, it never dropped below 22.5 degrees C! On day 2, we tried going to the beach, which was beautiful, but a full 20 minute walk, including many stairs. The beach does not have beds for the hotel and you have to walk even further for public ones. They are 20 euro per couple, and we could not find enough available ones for our group, because most are reserved by the other hotels. There are shuttles that do not run on Sundays or Mondays and stop running at 2:30PM, so getting there is more trouble than it's worth. THIS IS NOT A BEACH RESORT. The worst part of the stay is their silly rules! We booked adults-only to have fun, which we did in our previous two destinations in Portugal. All 6 couples were constantly shushed here, when getting together in the lobby! The next day, we got together in our room before going out and I put music on in my room on my 3 inch portable speaker. Five minutes later, a front desk employee knocked on the door and angrily told us we have to turn it off! Most of the guests are quite old, and though we were prepared for adults, we were not prepared for the amount of retirees. No guests complained about our group. It was the hotel management with their smug grins and arrogant behavior that kept us from having a good time for no apparent reason. Toilet broke on day 4 - took hours to fix! STAY AWAY!

Stayed in a junior suite in July 24 on a half board basis room was excellent and clean. The food was varied and of a good standard and we always found something to our taste

We found all the hotel staff, we came into contact with were very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful

Hotel communal areas and and pool were well maintained and very clean

There was night time entertainment on in the form of local singers who were okay by hotel standards

There are a couple of bars / restaurants / supermarkets nearby but other than that not a great deal although you could walk to the nearby fishing village which is approx 30 mins away where there was a bit more choice

We had one problem with our bill where something had been added in error, however when I noticed it and brought it to there attention it was quickly resolved

Only suggestion would be more parasols around the pool and in the garden area so people can get some shade if they want to get out of the sun

Overall enjoyed it and would return

We really enjoyed our stay. Be sure to ask for a pool view room! For the price it’s a great deal and has everything you need. 15 mins walk to the beach isn’t bad. It’s such a lovely beach nearby! If you’re looking for a lavish stay then look next door at pine cliffs resort for 3x the price.

We had a room at the front of the hotel next to a house with an extremely noisy large dog left outside barking all the time, especially at night also howling as well . After complaining the next day we got changed to another room 4 days later which was quieter. Hotel drinks are fairly expensive and food is the normal buffet selection. Sun loungers are snapped up quickly around the pool early at breakfast time. Would not return here due to the noise.

I booked a tour through the hotel, in which they organized for a shuttle to come pick me up. I was in lobby well ahead of time (40 mins before scheduled time), only to find out 15 minutes before my tour that the van broke down. When I asked the staff to help me out, they got me a taxi that cost me almost $40 CDN as opposed to the van. (had I known with notice that the van was down I would have called myself an uber which was $10 CDN. I paid a premium for a service issue that was all on the hotel/tour side when I shouldn't have. When mentioned to the staff he shrugged and said \"that's what it cost to get you there quickly\" (again not my fault there was delay)

We have stayed several times and have always enjoyed it. Staff, facilities and food excellent. Only one negative comment. We were given a room overlooking the the goods entrance which was noisy. Loud music from Pine Cliffs resort, 11am to 11pm which was also un-wanted, but that is not the hotels fault.

All change at the Falesia Hotel :-(

We have stayed many times before but this time it had a different feel. The staff as ever are amazing, always helpful and polite.The hotel is clean and the location is great. We have always loved going to Falesia but there are some things this time around that have put us off
1) It was always been an older respectful crowd but this time there were too many 20 somethings and larger groups of guys. it has changed the feel of the hotel.
2) We were on the top floor but couldnt escape the volume of the music in the bar every single night. This has definately increased since our previous visits.
3) There was always a smart dress code at dinner..this has stopped and it is very tacky now.
All the above is obviously personal to us but cumulatively it was enough for us to not wanting to go back which is very disappointing given that we thought it was our annual forever hotel.

Great hotel, located in a perfect location with beach in walking distance, local shop, local restaurants as well. Easy to get around by car or taxi. Hotel itself has good selection of breakfast, nice room with a balcony, a large outdoor pool and indoor pool & spa that we had to book. A very nice outdoor pool and bar. Hotel also has entertainment at night in the restaurant/bar area. Great customer service and a hotel that I would definitely stay again.

Good stay in a great location!

Falesia Hotel is a wonderful property in Albuferia. It’s next door to the Pine Cliffs Luxury property and close to many awesome
restaurants. The Pine Cliff private beach is also accessible to Falesia Hotel guests. The breakfast buffet is awesome and the outdoor and heated pool are great for relaxation! The property is adults only and there appeared to be many couples - older to be precise. Additionally although the rooms were comfortable, early bedtime goers or early risers will struggle because the rooms are poorly soundproofed so you hear the live music and which does until 11 or 12pm and then you are awoken by cleaners as early as 8am who are cleaning the hallways. All in all - a good stay in a great location.

Very happy with our choice of hotel for out trip.
We had half board, so dinner was included.
We were not expecting much as generally half boards are not the best, but we were pleasantly surprised as there were a good variety of food and the menu had some changes every night.
Amazing cheese board available every night too.
On my birthday they left a bottle of sparkling wine with a card on my room, which was a kind and unexpected gesture.
Also, a new bottle of water every morning.
Highly recommend.

An adults only hotel. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Excellent showers. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice as was dinner. Restaurant staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Bar area had entertainment some evenings. Drink prices were reasonable with a happy hour each day. Lovely gardens and pool area. Checkin and checkout was fast and efficient. Reception staff were lovely and very helpful. A car is useful to explore the area but not essential.

From a bad experience to a great one

After leaving a pre booked apartment through Another booking website, we found it extremely dirty and in bad repair. We did not stay and booked the Falésia Hotel through Hotel.com, We found it so suitable we extended our stay by four days. Great staff, very clean, great location and very quite.

We had a 2 night stay at this hotel . The hotel was very nice and our room (junior suite) was very comfrotable and well fitted out.
Breakfast, snack lunch and dinner were all good .
The only issue we had was the noise from the entertainment. We were above the entertainment area and it was very noisey. We had to leave before 6.0am to catch an early flight and couldn't get to sleep. I think the hotel should ask if you are someone who the entertainment noise would affect. Many guests attended the entertainment and so it would not have affected them but it did mar our stay.

A lovely hotel with friendly hard working staff. The only negatives would be that people are up early to reserve sunbeds. The beds in the room seem to be the memory foam mattresses which did not help my back
The age range was 50+, however, it did make it a friendly atmosphere and everyone said hello.
Quite a few shops and restaurants also within walking distance.

My wife and I loved this hotel. Our number one priority when booking somewhere is the cleanliness, and we were not disappointed. The place was spotless!

The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed them (all spoke very good English). The only disappointing thing would be when I asked the hotel to help me book a round of golf at Pine Cliffs (which is conveniently next door to the hotel!) I wasn't told about the twilight offer (which was about half price). Maybe that's not the staff's fault but it's worth mentioning for any potential visitors.

The hotel grounds were vast, and very well looked after. As well as the poolside area, there was a nice garden with sun loungers (along with a pond).

One of our complaints would be that we asked for a room overlooking the pool and didn't get this. However, I put this down to the following: Our shuttle bus arrived at 12:30 and check-in was 14:00. The hotel receptionist tried his best to find us another room which was already serviced and ready for guests, and I guess he's probably just given us whatever room was available.

The hotel also offers a cheap shuttle bus to the Old Town (6 Euros) and a free shuttle bus to the beach (which is only a short walk anyway).

A large bottle of water was provided on arrival. It would have been a very nice touch by the hotel to supply guests with a bottle of water every day when the rooms were serviced - but that's just a personal opinion.

We absolutely loved our first Adults Only hotel!

On the whole very good. Range of food available first class, although the main cooked, buffet,evening meal could be improved.Room, junior suite, first class. Staff very friendly and helpful. Liked the garden/pool area. Plenty of activities in the afternoons and evening entertainment was usually good especially by the reps.. Took part once myself.

Great holiday at the Falesia

Fourth visit since 2008 and the hotel is still providing a good holiday. Friendly staff and great facilities, garden, pool and Turkish bath!. The hotel is located in a garden setting and with the local shops and bars only a five minute walk away. Lots of choice with the meals. Our junior suite was excellent but as it was at the front it was very noisy with deliveries for the hotel.

Lovely hotel. Shame about the Spa!

Lovely hotel. Really nice food with a good selection. Pool area and gardens are lovely and well kept. Staff were all really helpful.
The only negative was the spa. We had a massage and it wasn't good! Too rushed with fast movements. Spa was dirty and had no inviting decor or comfort. A real shame as the indoor pool area right next to it was lovely.
