We had an excellent stay from start to finish. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was of a very high standard with plenty of choice we only ate out once all week. The football pitch, running track, and gym were fantastic for our family, and there was also plenty of entertainment around the pool.
The only small drawback was drinks being served in plastic cups; while understandable for safety, it would be nice to have an area with proper glasses. Overall, a brilliant stay and we will definitely return.

Location was very good, close to the beach. All inclusive was also good with variety for lunch and dinner. The beds were too hard for our liking. The hotel had entertainment for those that did not venture out. The jacuzzi was not hot😞

Hotel was very nice, great area & excellent facilities to make the most of during the stay, however for a 4 star hotel I was very disappointed with the “All Inclusive” option as the food was pretty poor. Same food 2 days running as options, overly salted & cooked which wasn’t great.
We ended up not eating in the hotel our last night as we actually wanted something that was filling & to be honest edible.
Staff were friendly & helpful, it wasn’t very busy so the activities were generally just me & my friend partaking but the events host Joao was excellent.
Location is great, it was just a shame that the local shops across the road from the gym were shut for Christmas & the nearest shop (that was open) was about a 20-30 min walk.
Apartment itself was nice & spacious although it was meant to be a double bed & 2 singles we somehow ended up with 2 singles (right beside each other) & a single sofa bed.
We ended up not eating in the hotel our last night as we actually wanted something that was filling & to be honest edible.

The property is quiet. The room is large and comfortable. We enjoyed the sports ground and facilities. The food tastes nice. The location is great, 10 mins to the beach.
To improve, the swimming pool is cold in October. If there's a heated swimming pool, children will be more enjoyed to stay and we will definitely come back. It would be better if the food could have a wider range of varieties.

Amazing stay. We stayed for a group event and everyone loved the atmosphere! The staff were incredibly helpful and the food was amazing! Also catered really well for gluten free guests. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! If I could give it 10 Stars I would. Location is perfect to walk on down to the \"most beautiful beach in Europe\"...Praia da Falésia. It's less than 10 minutes.

I liked the sports facilities, I thought they were first class for a hotel. The hotel has saw better days unfortunately, quite run down and lack basics such as ironing board, proper hairdryer, Wi-Fi was terrible in our second room. We moved due to a terrible smell coming from the kitchen sink, which we had to put up with for 3 days.
The reception staff were fantastic and didn't make us feel like a nuisance when we complained about the smell. They were very helpful with our airport transfer pickup and made us a breakfast box as our flight was earlier and we left before the breakfast area opened.

I have just returned from an 8 night stay in the Victoria Sports & Beach Hotel with my wife and baby daughter. We were all made feel very welcome in the hotel. All the staff were friendly and were particularly attentive to our baby. The restaurant staff were particularly friendly at breakfast and dinner.
The availability of the running track, gym and nearby trails meant that I could get in some nice running on our family holiday.

The Apartment was very nice but if you are staying all inclusive or require a meal the Restaurant/Dinning Room is like a school canteen and very noisy. The food is not great and the bar area is like a shed. Not great to have a drink in and should be totally separate from the Dinning room. Otherwise Staff were very helpful and the apartment was really nice and clean.

Lovely hotel for a family visit, apartments a brilliant size for family with 3 kids. Brilliant location with the square a 3/4 minute walk. The pool could be bigger with more sun loungers. Beach is a 10 minute walk.

Great place if you have young kids, we don't. That's our fault really, we picked the wrong hotel. But, it wasn't obvious how rammed the place would be with kids. Incredibly noisy. Sign by the pool saying do not reserve beds, but before 0830 they were all reserved with towels and no enforcement.

Our stay was magnificent! Victoria Sport & Beach’s customer service is unmatched! Very responsive and accommodating. Everything that is advertised is accurate and more. You will be very satisfied. Uber is all around you for transportation. Beaches are everywhere. Plenty options for food. Nearby restaurants close at midnight, so that’s kinda a bummer bt other farther options are available. Loved our stay. Good safe area to stay and close enough to the nightlife. You will not regret your stay!

Good location. We had a one bedroom appartment with a fairly well stocked kitchen. Take washing up liquid and a scrubby thing as only a t-towel is provided. Bathroom came with toiletries which were replaced but the hairdryer is fairly useless. Beds were clean and the air conditioning worked well. We didn't use the pool and surrounding area so can't comment on that although the families using it seemed to be having a great time. It is only a short walk to the beach and the local shops and restaurants. The beach is fantastic although it's only accessible by a lot of wooden steps so definitely not wheelchair friendly and quite hard for buggy carrying. Once there, there are sunbeds and umbrellas for hire at 16euros for the day (no part reduction) and the sand is clean and great for kids. There's a cafe at the top of the steps with loos but no facilties at the bottom. Great smoothies! There's a well stocked supermarket with delicious fresh croissants and bread as well as a few restaurants. Nothing special but good fish and nice local house wine.

Disappointing stay
We have very high hopes for this hotel in a beautiful area close to the beach but unfortunately it was lacking in certain areas. Initial room we checked in through smelled of deodorant. We went out for several hours to the beach and dinner when we came back the deodorant eire off and the room just smelled like sewage or something rotting in the room. So around 11 PM we are forced to move our room to another room attempting to take showers nothing but cold water after one shower we wound up warming up water. The next night the room above us was extremely noisy with thumping music all night long. Even after calling the front desk music was turned down but you could hear voices and music all night long and I didn’t get to sleep till after 4 AM. So basically pretty much a failure across the board in terms of sleeping.Disappointing stay Included toilet seat that looked rotted and the door handle came off we’re trying to close the door.

It was a last-minute decision and I kind of regret it as I had many other options. It was my 4th visit to the Algarve and this hotel is good but too far, especially if you don't drive. I emailed to as for what bus to take and the reply was to take the bus from Faro to Albufeira and stop at Olhos d'Agua. From that stop I had to walk for more than an hour carrimy backpack and a 10kg bad. I was exhausted just to get to the hotel on my 1st day. It's only after that I realized that from Olhos d'Agua I could have taken another bus going to Praia da Falesia and stopped at Aldeia Dad Acoteias which was 5 mins walk to the hotel. So you've been warned! I liked my stay as the hotel was very clean but I could hardly see any guests as it was so quiet because of the season. The receptionist was nice. I would recommend the hotel but if you don't drive, it could be a bit too far from the main spots.

The hotel was really nice. We stayed at a family apartment and were really happy with the accommodation. The hotel has a main swimming pool and two kids splash pools that our little ones thoroughly enjoyed. There are loads of good restaurants around the hotel, and the amazing Falesia beach is only about 10 min walk away. Thoroughly recommended.

Well appointed modern and spacious apartment \"comfort \" apartment with view over local pine forest and trail. Close to local amenities including restaurants, supermarket and beach.
Great bathroom with bidet (why dont we have such things in the UK?) and probably the best shower I have experienced over numerous years of staying in hotels, villas and apartments around Europe and further afield.
Minor issue was an intermittent fire alarm one night, due to a problem in the kitchen. This (quite rightly) caused fire doors to close and the lift to shut down but no one from staff came round to tell us that this was a false alarm and it was only by going down the fire escape stairs, at 11.00p.m that I was able to ascertain this from reception. I think better practice should prevail, even if a false alarm - how are guests to know? This however is no reflection of the staff in general who were very hospitable and courteous at all times throughout our stay.
During our stay the Portuguese Primeira Liga team Vitoria Setubal F.C. were guests at the hotel and using the facilities for training. This in itself gives a good idea of the standard of the hotel.
All in all a very pleasant stay and would come back

Great hotel for the price, great facilities. I didn't use the pool as the beach is so near but it did look nice. There isn't a great view from the hotel as it is on the side of the road so you either get the road or the pool area. I can't comment on the food as I went self-catering. The room had everything you would need for a weeks stay and it was nice and modern.

We had one night here but would be suitable for a longer stay for those wishing to self cater. Lovely spacious apartment with loungs and dining area as well as a separate kitchen. The bed was firm but comfortable. You could walk to the nearest beach. The area was ok but there were a lot of smokers in the local reataurants which spoilt it. The pool was large and was warm.

What an amazing place to stay! Our apartment was beautiful: modern, tasteful décor, clean, comfortable rooms and a massive terrace with lovely views of the pool area and the surrounding scenery. It's also only a few minutes walk from the stunning Falésia Beach.

Very enjoyable stay, the reception staff were friendly and polite and booked all our trips and excursions on the first day. A big thank you to the cleaning staff who managed to get our apartment clean and ready 2 hours before the standard check in time, and continued to clean our apartment to a high standard throughout our stay.
The hotel had excellent facilities with adequate parking for car rentals, the pool area was clean and well kept with adequate numbers of loungers.
The location was peaceful and relaxing with a short walk to shops, bars, restaurants and the gorgeous Falesia beach.
Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

We had an apartment with a large lounge and a large kitchen plus a bathroom and bedroom. It was well equipped and it had a lovely view over the tops of the pine trees from the 4th floor. I would definitely return if in that area. Unfortunately I never had time to use the pool or gym. A great stay.

Nice to stay with family. Apartments with a kitchen with the basic equipment to prepare a quick meal. A microwave oven is not available, though. Very annoying to have to leave a 10 euro deposit in cash to for each swimming pool towel we borrowed. This is not practical at all. Walking distance to a nice beach and a small shopping area very close by with a few restaurants and a small supermarket.

Victoria Sport & Beach is an excellent choice for a family holiday. The hotel and suites are modern, very well maintained with excellent facilities. The staff were uniformly a pleasure to deal with. Friendly, courteous and ready to provide an honest appraisal of things to do and places to go (no hard sell on excursions).
Located ten minutes walk from Praia da Falesia and an even shorter walk away from a small square with a selection of eateries and a supermarket. Praia da Falesia is roughly halfway between Albufeira and Vilamoura, so a hire car would be recommended to make the most of your time there. For example, the quieter Praia da Tomates is a ten minute drive away.

Boiling and uncomfortable
We stayed at the hotel for one night before we travelled onto a villa we were renting for a week. The room was very clean and spacious. On our return from a meal out we found the air conditioning didn’t work correctly and the mattress was like the bottom section of a divan (VERY hard), both of which resulted in an extremely uncomfortable night’s broken sleep, especially when the sun rose to heat the room up even more (due to the room’s aspect). Luck for us we only had one night to endure the easily resolvable issues).

Spacious and clean with lovely swimming pools (large pool, children’s pool and children’s splash pool). Very safe for young children with a nice playground area and kids club activities. 5 minute walk to Falésia square with a good variety of lovely restaurants and - few shops. 8 minute walk to beautiful Falésia beach. Great location with everything you need for a relaxing holiday all within walking distance. Convenient restaurant at the hotel serving nice food, smoothies and juices.

Enjoyed our stay, it was our second visit. The food is good and plentiful, the apartment is nice and comfortable, facilities are good. Gym is a real bonus although could do with some more up to date equipment.
Only criticism is that the very first receptionist we dealt with both on the phone and when we arrived was really awful , rude, unhelpful. Once she realised we were quite aggravated by her attitude she mellowed a little. The rest of the team were excellent though.

Great family-friendly hotel in a quiet location
A lovely hotel, very friendly staff, large apartment-style room. Lots of families were staying which was perfect for us. Lovely pool, daily sports program for adults and kids club. The hotel comes with a full-size football pitch, gym, running track. It's outside of town, so a hire car is useful if staying longer - however shops and good restaurants are just 5 mins away on foot, and the beach is easily reached on foot (approx 10 mins with kids).
The local beach, Praia de Falesia, has calm water, good for kids, and you can walk along it to Olyos D'Agua and Vilamoura. Lots of space, easy to find an uncrowded area + you can rent watersports equipment.
For a quieter, less touristy holiday this was perfect for us.

Very relaxing at a great location. Very close to a great beach with restaurants and a supermarket by as well. Hotel is very clean and orderly. Just be careful when booking as I am sure I searched & booked for 3 but the conformation from Hotels.com came through for 2 and I foolishly did not seek to amend as the hotel offers apartment style accommodation :( however I had to pay €30 per night for the extra child across our stay on arrival. Apart from this, it was very goodifficult experience. I Would highly recommend

The hotel is excellent and ideal for families with young children or couples who want a very very quiet holiday. Hotel is spotless and rooms are superb. Hotel is close to the beach but otherwise too remote if u want some evening entertainment. Albufeira and Vilamoura are some distance away and taxis (aranged via the hotel) are around €30-€40 return and my daughter and I would have gone stir crazy if we hadn't !! Some reviews make mention to the local square as having local bars and restaurants and whilst this is true the variety on offer is limited and not much atmosphere. Really can't fault the hotel or it's facilities otherwise.

Had a fantastic week at the Victoria Sport and Beach Hotel. Large, well presented rooms, everything in the hotel was in good condition. We have a toddler and the park and large, well-appointed paddling pool were great.
The beach is only a short walk away, as is the village square with bars and restaurants. All of this made for a peaceful, restful holiday.
One thing the hotel could improve is customer service. There were three people occasions on which staff could have been more helpful:
1 There was no corkscrew in our apartment, and despite asking a number of times this was not provided.
2 The hotel specifically advertised coffee machines available for a small deposit. However, on enquiry these were not available. If it’s not available, don’t advertise it!
3. The sprinklers near the toddler play park stayed on for 2 full days, making the park unusable. We had to ask a number of times to get this resolved, and we had the impression that staff were not interested in helping.
