Staff helpful and friendly. More information about parking before arrival would have been helpful (cannot park until you've checked in!). Room is quite simple and rather dated. Kitchenette provided but notices state you must clean kitchen or be charged an additional €30. Felt in some ways more like a hostel than a hotel.

Reception staff very helpful with good instructions as you need a couple of codes for the out of hours door and car park door. Apartment was a good size with a useful kitchenette. Parking was easy access on the level with plenty of space. Handy supermarket next door with cheap fuel pumps. Easy walking distance to centre of Tours (10 mins)

Our apartment was clean and tidy, the bed was much more comfortable than it looked. Could have done with a bread knife though. Bus just outside and a nice convenient walk to more restaurants and bars than you can possibly want.

We have stayed in this property just for one night and enjoyed it. Although reception was not 24 hrs, we did not need it. Receptionists were very nice, polite and helpful. Access to car park was easy with plenty of spaces to choose from at that time. We chose to have breakfast outside as found it overpriced in Odalys.

Throughly recommend!

We had two apartments for our family of 6 and the dog. Excellent facilities, spacious and clean. The kitchenette was fully equipped to make a chilli meal for the family in the evening, breakfast in the morning and we prepared sandwiches for our onward trip. The carrefour and petrol station next door also added to the convenience of our stay.

Student accommodation posing as hotel

This is not a hotel it is a converted student accommodation the block is in the middle of a campus and surrounded by student living
We arrived early and the receptionist was very abrupt and not welcoming - we knew that we would not be able to check in but when we asked questions about parking and how far to the town she just told us to come back at 3pm
When we eventually checked in the room and balcony was very clean and spacious however there is no air conditioning
We were woken in the early hours of the morning by (students) or guest returning
To access this hotel you have to climb up some steep stairs that are frequented by locals drinking on the steps
This is not a hotel

Nice facilities with confortable bed and flat screen TV. Internet is very limited not good enough for video streaming nor vpn, on the other side you can use several devices at the same time. did not have breakfast but the location is very central so easy to find local businesses serving breakfast. Also the parking is available for 6 euros per night which is very handy!

The hotel is located in a pleasant and seemingly calm area close to schools and nursing homes and walking distance to the historical centre and the Botanical Gardens.
The rooms are spacious and more like serviced apartments than hotel apartments.
The concierge is only open for reduced hours so it's important to time arrivals and departures accordingly.
There is limited step-free access which can be a nuisance for strollers or wheelchairs.

Great location, friendly staff, good amenities. Just a 7 minute walk from the old city.

Odalys is mostly a student dorm, but the hotel rooms are on their own floor. The room was in very good condition and the kitchen is fully stocked. Odalys is right next to a gas station and a grocery store which is very convenient. We were quite comfortable and happy to stay here. I even got some laundry done.

I would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends.

Clean apartment style hotel room with fridge freezer and hob, kettle etc. Family room had a double bed and large double sofa bed. Both clean and comfy. Walking distance to Tours centre and the river. Great stop over room for a night or 2.

This hotel was difficult to find despite a sat nav. The hotel is up a large flight of stairs and the sign on the wall above the steps is covered by tree leaves. Unfortunately I am slightly disabled and found the stairs exhausting. The reception is only open for certain hours. It has a secure car park which is accessed by a remote key and you have to put codes in doors to get in and get out. On the positive side there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and a supermarket close by. There is no air conditioning but a fan was provided. It was noisy as it faces a block of apartments where residents spent the evening on their balcony’s. As it was so hot we had to have the window open so it was very noisy. Would I stay here again. Afraid not.

Nightmare at the Odalys.

I cant review this place because we could not get in. I received no confirmation or any communication of any kind from them.Tried ringing them but no reply. I arrived late evening, place was deserted so rang the number again this time got through,spoke to a man called Denis. took me 15 mins to get him to understand that I had no way of getting into the building.Eventually after ringing about five times he gave me a access code, which I tapped into both of their keyboards, and it did not work in either.I have 3 witnesses to this, we all tried. this is now 11.30 pm.We had to give up as the hotel person I was talking to had no interest in helping. We managed to book into another hotel for the night.I received a message from the Odalys saying they would not refund my payment as they had sent me a message. I have double checked my email and texts, they did not send me anything and the code I was given did not work. They caused 4 people a lot of grief and expense,the least they can do is refund my payment. I need your help.

Good place to sleep but that's about it!

Was a pain to make several trips up stairs to haul all our gear. Bed and pull-out were comfortable, but apartment was smaller than expected due to oversized washroom (but small shower) and closet. Having our own furnished balcony was awesome. Apartment was close to some restaurants, but ended up taking the bus to get to the hot spots.

Excellent! We had Junior Suite on 5th floor with large balcony.
Last year Junior Suite on 4th floor....Again with large balcony.
Both with double bed and sofa bed.
Kitchenettes on both occasions well equipped.
We have moved on to Appart' City Limoges.
Sadly I cannot be so enthusiastic.
I would not recommend.

It was the second time I stayed in Apparthotel Odalys. The facilities are great and especially the junior suites are quite spacious and have a nice balcony for when the weather is nice. Staff is very helpful and are flexible if you have any requests. Parking is very convenient as it is directly under the hotel with ample space. There is even a little gym to have you sweat after a hard day in the office. Only point of comment I would make is the fact that I pointed out that my duvet was dirty and even though I mentioned it downstairs it was not replaced.

This was a basic hotel stay for 1 night. Everything about it was as expected, nothing luxurious, just the necessaties. Except for the cleanliness of the room ! The cleaning had been done by what I can only imagine was a teenager. Only the surfaces in front of their eyes had been touched. Edges, sills, table feet, corners and skirtings all dirty. Bathroom bin left with the previous guests sanitary goods still inside. Front (outside) bowl of toilet streaked with dribbled urine. All totally unacceptable. The wifi code was missing as was the TV. Both promptly supplied when requested. Unfortunately the tv did not work and they said they could do nothing about it.
Bedding and towels excellent. Staff excellent. Very quiet location, town walkable, underground parking very convenient. Carrefour market just next door. If you should visit in the summer please note there is no air-conditioning, so very hot in rooms and corridors.

Not an easy place to find as set back from the road up some steps.
We were pleased with everything, room, staff etc. only one thing, no hair drier in room, went and borrow from reception, think this should be remedied, everyone would expect to have this facility, we stayed in the Lyon Odylas, on that holiday and a hair drier was standard in the room.

Good hotel, poor location

Stayed here with a colleague in November. Hard to find; even cab driver missed it. The person who knew where it was did, however, not know how to get into the hotel. A bit confusing to access it. Front desk is very small, in an open space used as breakfast room. Service was good, not exceptional. You must notify them that you have breakfast by 7p the night before. I had passed. The following morning, I saw bread, jelly and butter. That's it. Gym is tiny. But then, this is not a 5* hotel. The bathroom was large, room was nice and well laid out, bed was comfy. I had the suite, which came with a little kitchenette. The location leaves a lot to be desired. There is a supermarket right next to the hotel. Once there, it looks like their parking lot is a much sought-after hangout for the wannabes pestering customers as they leave the store and those getting in. It might just have been that day. I doubt it though. So, overall, nice place to be...inside. However, the downtown area is quite nice, and will take you less than 15 minutes. If you drive in not too late, you can easily park on the side of the street perpendicular to that of the hotel entrance. Whilst not the best hotel ever, I might stay there again if I do not find anything more pleasing at the time.

Very nice place to stay. Convenient for the old town and restaurants. Very clean. Junior suite was very well presented. Only problem was that it is not easy to find the entrance. They need more noticeable signposting.Ask them to send you a diagram to find the entrance and the car park.

Great Hotel

The hotel is very modern exceptionally clean and comfortable with very friendly staff who speak English. The room was spacious with a very well equipped kitchenette and a lovely memory foam mattress. The shower room was large and modern with good hot water pressure. Situated close to the river and not too far from the centre but very quiet. Private secure parking is reasonably priced and a bonus. We would stay here again.

Myself and my 2 Children stayed there on the route back to the UK from Madrid, we were late getting there and a note was left on the door with a contact number. The lady on the end of the phone was very helpful and explained how to get in. the room was clean ,tidy and practical. The Town was lovely and we had a great stay.

Stopped over for one night with 2 young children on the way south. Very friendly, helpful reception. Apartment very clean and well presented. Beds comfortable except for lumpy pillows which could do with replacing. Modern bathroom and kitchen area. The supermarket right next door is also very handy. Ample secure basement parking for 5 Euros per night. Overall great value for money, would stay again.

J'ai oublié une paire de lunettes de marque en partant.
Après les avoir contactés 3 fois, à chaque fois ils me disent qu'ils me rappelleront et ne rappellent pas.
Le manque d'honnêteté me dégoute, voilà pourquoi je mets 1 étoiles.
Le logement était dans un état passable, trou de brulure au sol et sur les parties de cuisine.

A aucun moment l’hôtel parle de l’accès compliqué!
Pas d’accès handicapé,
Allée d’accès en mauvais état et de plus pas éclairé la nuit.
J’ai failli me tordre la cheville en arrivant le soir.(photo à l’appui)
Heureusement, que je suis arrivé avant la fermeture, car en marchant dans l’allée on voit pas le panneaux arrivée tardive.
Literie bof.
On entend les voisins tirer la chasse et prendre leurs douches.
Bref après avoir dormi dans beaucoup d’appart hôtel, celui-ci restera dans les hôtels à éviter!!!

L'appart hôtel est bien situé dans le centre ville de Tours, à 2 pas du fleuve la Loire. L'appartement est propre et dispose un balcon pour manger dehors. Il disponse un lit double et un canapé lit.

L'hôtel est vraiment pas mal, il manque pas grand chose pour qu'il soit vraiment bien. Des matelas un peu moins dur serai vraiment bien et la laverie est cher pour un hôtel. Mais sinon l'établissement et les chambre sont propre et pas trop mal agencé. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est vraiment sympa très proche du bord de la Loire.

Bon sejour dans cet établissement où le personnel est accueillant et à l’écoute. Les studios sont propres et calmes.
Les choses à améliorer : l’arrivée dans une allée très sombre, en haut d’un escalier. Attention si vous avez des difficultés à vous déplacer et pas rassurant.
Accueil les chats pour10€ par jour. Même prix qu’en chatterie où la nourriture er la litière sont fournis. Un peu cher...
Une formule petit dejeuner express avec 1 café 1 croissant à 5€ serait appreciable.
Mais odalys reste un bon établissement pas trop loin du centre ville à pied si vous marchez bien.

Très agréable appartement, avec de la place pour se garer à proximité.
Gros plus, la caution est reversée quelques heures après le départ. Ce n'est pas négligeable lorsqu'on enchaine les établissements de ce type, car bien souvent il faut attendre une bonne semaine !

wir hatten einen sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Hotel wird vor allem von Studenten besucht. Das Zentrum ist ohne Probleme zu Fuss erreichbar. Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage möglich. Die Reception war sehr freundlich. Einziger Nachteil - das Bett wr nur 140 cm
breit.

Unterkunft ist Altstadt nah.

Unterkunft war sauber. Keine Klimaanlage. Da die Unterkunft in einem Wohngebiet liegt, war es am Abend relativ laut (Balkon Abend-Gespräche). Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten (Garage). Frühstück sehr gut.

Parcheggio auto poco comodo per portare bagagli stanza. A 10 minuti a piedi dal centro in una zona un po’ isolata di sera.

je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.

hôtel trés compliqué d'accès dans la ville, l' accueil pas facile à trouver, beaucoup de détours et escaliers, les informations mal indiquées bref un parcours du combattant
pour trouver le parking qui est payant et accéder à la chambre, pas de climatisation, des codes pour tout et une personne à l'accueil pas très aimable.

Retour dans les années 90 c'est possible!

Revenir dans les années 1990 c'est encore possible ici !
Expedia à sans doute sa part de responsabilité en mettant en photos de belles chambres et qu'il faut aller quasiment voir les 40 photos pour trouver ce qu'est une chambre standard chez Ibis Tours sud! C'est un peu de la publicité mensongère ! Déçu !
