Off street parking was definitely a bonus, but the entrance/exit is very tight and narrow so a larger vehicle (I have a mini) might have some issues. Bed was super comfortable, bathroom was ok, a tiny bit tatty but ok. Breakfast was a good selection, quite enjoyable. My stay was only 2 nights but it was handy for visiting the multitude of Chateau’s in the area.
I would definitely return if I was ever in Tours again.

Very good check in process. Room was good with the usual amenities of tea/coffee facilities and tv.
Breakfast was good, but some of the items had already been used (45mins before the end of breakfast) and it took a while for even the bread to be replaced. Pain au chocolat were excellent and freshly made

The rooms are tiny. I booked a superior room thinking it will be spacious and there is barely any room to move in there. The bathroom is like a cupboard and the shower is tiny. Stains everywhere and a bad smell. These rooms are in desparate need of renovation, uncomfortable mattresses and old pillows with yellow stains inside. Towels are dried up and probably years old. Carpets disgusting and stained. Awful experience there is nothing superior about these rooms. This is more like a 1 star hotel.

The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was worth the add-on. The front desk and cleaning staff were all very pleasant and helpful as well!
It's located in a great spot for access to transit or a quick walk to a plethora of good restaurants, and it's not far at all from the train station.

Although the staff were helpful, finding the hotel was very difficult (the sign is lacking) and although it said parking, there was none was available. The restaurant was awful. It was basically a large chicken strip only Turkey breaded and served on noodles and red sauce that tasted like it was out of a can. Very disappointing.

The hotel is very nice. We got a room that was a queen and two twins, and realized the twins were located up in a second story loft with a ladder. So be prepared if you have younger kids. The staff has been wonderful and very helpful.

Convenient hotel and easy to find from A10

Stopped off on the way from Spain to ferry port. Arrived after the hotel restaurant had stopped service but the receptionist recommended a great restaurant a short walk away and we probably would have missed the chance to enjoy the nightlife if we'd stayed in. €9 for overnight parking is probably a bit expensive. We will be back though.

3 rooms opening out onto the road side reeked of smoke, and the sills below were full of cigarette ends. We were ultimately given a room opening onto the garden which was fine. Comfortable bed, and large bathroom. The girl on reception tried hard to find us a decent room, though she seemed to be on her own and was a bit flustered. Breakfast was very good. The location could have been better, being about 20-30 minutes walk from places to eat. Strangely, the hotel's own restaurant was closed for the weekend?!

My experience was great in this hotel.

The hotel was fabulous. But in summer it's a little further from the town than you would like to walk.
If like me you are tierd from travelling and can not be bothered to go into the Resturant, the nearest supermarket is about 5 mins walk; But beware they close at 8pm. But I did find a sweet little one almost at the fountain as you walk back into town.

Tours is a great base to explore the Loire Valley and this hotel is in a great location in Tours. Simple, clean and with AC also! Rooms are slightly on the smaller side but were fine for our purposes.

Was in Tours for business at the University. This hotel was convenient, and was just finishing up a major renovation (April 2015). Thus, it is super clean. I suffered with the paint smell, but luckily the windows open. But that will pass. Good value for the money, overall. Wifi was a little spotty - they need to work on that. I would bring my family here and rent two rooms, as it is quite workable.

Even though the rooms are small compared to hotels in the USA, this hotel is a great location in Tours. A 10 minute walk to old town Tours and a 20 minute walk to the train station. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful - especially since I don't speak French very well. Very accomodating to all requests. In addition, the restaurant dinner menu is unbelievable - high quality gourmet. I would definitely stay here again.

Not worth the money

There are several problems with this hotel: 1) The room was not very clean. The rug was gritty, and there was a set of stains on the blanket that was indicative of a previous intimate encounter. 2) The hallways were always dark, even in the daytime. You had to press a light switch to see where you were going, and the light timed out after a couple minutes. If you were caught by the sudden darkness, you had to fumble your way to the light switch, which wasn't lit. 3) The shower setup was such that you were continually pushing against the metal hose while standing under the shower head. 4) The room was so tiny, that two people had to squeeze past each other when moving around. 5) The person cleaning up the breakfast tables took the unused packets of butter from one table, and returned the butter to the general bin.

I'm a 31yo male traveler. It's a 20 minute walk from the train station in Tours.

The breakfast is all-you-can eat, so I stuffed myself to get my money's worth. There's a coffee machine w/ many options: espresso, cafe au lait, ..... The food is very good. The room is also a restaurant at night, but I didn't eat there.

The room had an A/C unit.

There's a small liquor store down the street where you can get cold beer and wine.

I would have no problem staying here again.

Personnel très sympa. Cependant, dans la chambre, l’évier et la douche étaient bouchés, je l’ai signalé dès le lendemain matin mais le soir suivant rien n’avait changé. On ne pouvait pas monter le pommeau de douche, un peu galère pour se laver les cheveux quand on est grand. L’eau du robinet coulait pas clair, un peu teintée terre. Je n’ai pas osé me faire un thé et il n’y a pas de bouteille à disposition.

Excellent ! Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Le personnel est des plus accueillants, avec une mention spéciale pour le réceptionniste qui a été arrangeant et nous a aimablement prêté son parapluie, ce qui nous a été fort utile, et nous lui souhaitons une excellente dégustation des chocolats. De l'accueil à l'arrivée jusqu'au départ, tout a été parfait. L'hôtel est d'une propreté irréprochable, c'est très calme, les services proposés sont excellents, notamment le choix varié au petit-déjeuner. L'hôtel est idéalement situé à moins de 10 minutes de l'hôtel de ville, le tout à des tarifs attractifs. Il convient toutefois de noter une certaine prudence si vous disposez d'un véhicule imposant pour l'accès au parking souterrain. Nous reviendrons dans cet hôtel avec grand plaisir. À bientôt.

Paid extra for a “superior” room that was awful. Baseboards completely detached from walls with tons of dust and gunk, questionable cleanliness of carpeted floors. A good amount of mold/mildew in the shower walls and joints and with hair still left from previous guests. Some stained pillow covers(they were clean but you still don’t want to see old set in stains right?) good thing it was only 2 nights. Wouldn’t stay here again

Si vous etes en famille avec un enfant de moins de 10 ans environ, fuyez cet hotel, il y en a plein d'autres à Tours. Ce qu'ils appellent des chambres familiales sont toutes des chambres exigues où toute la place est prise par un lit double, et pour l'enfant, il faut décrocher une échelle sans aucune rampe de sécurité pour monter dans une mezzanine sous le toit. Notre enfant a eu peur de tomber en montant (franchement, cela se comprend) et nous avons passé une nuit blanche à 3 en bas.

Plusieurs réclamations pour changer pendant et après notre séjour, aucune réaction de la direction quand il était temps d'essayer de trouver une solution.

Je trouve surtout leurs chambres familiales DANGEREUSES pour des enfants de moins de 10 ans.

Cela n'a pas l'air d'inquiéter la direction qui dit qu'il n'y a jamais eu d'accident, comme s'il fallait toujours attendre l'accident pour réagir officiellement

Certes l’hotel n’est pas cher mais viellot: les couleurs barbie ne sont pas de mon goût. Les chambres sont très petites et celles avec 4 couchages dont 2 couchages en mezzanines accessibles par une échelle au milieu du couloir pas pratiques. L’echelle est à installer dans le couloir qui sépare le lit de la porte d’entrée et de la salle de bain, en plein dans le passage! C’est cependant mieux qu’un formule 1 pour le prix je pense, n’ayant jamais mis les pieds dans un formule 1 et n’ayant jamais l’intention d’y mettre les pieds!
