The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction blocking the main route to the parking but the hotel made us aware of this a few days ahead of time and also gave us an alternative route. The breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable.

Great stay, super staff.

Staff were brilliant and spoke excellent English even though I did try to speak French! Confusing instructions on Hotels.com re. parking which ask you to phone and reserve and when I rang the hotel, they told me we don't have to ring and reserve parking, just turn up. A bit difficult to know here the Ibis car park is and how to get into it, as there is a ground floor open air one and then a basement one which both look a bit narrow to get into. We double-parked and went into ask and I spoke to a really helpful young man on reception who told us what to do to open the barrier and were able to find a space in the open air car park.
One member of staff, Fatoumata, deserves special mention. She went above and beyond to help me when I gave a complicated request to try and track down some perfume I wanted to buy for my mother which she had bought on a previous trip at a visitor centre for a chateau. She rang the property and waited patiently for about 20mins for them to answer. She finally spoke to someone in the gift shop for me to enquire about the perfume - as it was complicated I couldn't have managed with my standard of French language! It saved us driving out there 40mins to find out they no longer sold the perfume so I am so grateful she went above and beyond to help with my slightly odd request.
Went to the restaurant around the corner Au Coin Gourmand - fantastic and wonderful steak with super wine. We felt the Ibis restaurant a little pricy for the food on offer.

An overnight stay

An overnight stay where we found the disabled room to be be almost ideal - very comfortable beds, quiet for a town centre location & a good shower. Breakfast was of a very good standard that seems to be typical of Ibis Styles. Obviously a popular destination as many other Europeans were staying at the same time as ourselves.

Wish it had been a bit closer to downtown (20 min walk), but it was a spacious and comfortable room. Good breakfast. Perfect base for a few days in Tours to explore the beautiful Loire Valley. Free street parking nearby to avoid the 9 EUR/night hotel fee.

Close to the tram with easy access to the old town. Welcome, room, and breakfast all good. parking €9/night which didn’t seem too bad but had to go into hotel to ask where it was. Two entrances next to one another, one going underground, very tight access - had to abandon and go in ground access which worked out fine.

Very spacious room and comfortable.

The hotel rooms are clean, and spacious, we got a large room with a nice window. The parking lot needs to be painted again, but besides that everything is good. The hotel is close to a supermarket and the city is located on an area that facilitates short trips to visit attractions close to Tours.

Good choice if you want to visit Tours; street was a bit noisy at night (people on the street) but it quieted down; excellent breakfast, lots to choose from including being able to boil yourself an egg. Very friendly checkin/out. We opted to park on the street (free) vs. the self-park parkade.

The hotel was full of light, the staff were helpful,and the rooms were well looked after.The breakfast room was large, and the service brisk. The room had no drawers or shelves and only five coat hangers,not enough for a double room.The rectangular bathroom basin took far too long to fill, and there was only one chair plus a pouffe and a tiny desk. The room was spacious, but the space could be better used.

Cheap, great location, right next to Gare de l'Est. And lots of good restaurants in the area.

Very low-quality service and lodgings. When I walked in, a few people were standing around at the desk chatting and ignoring me. They finally turned around and looked annoyed at me for interrupting their conversation. I explained to them I had a reservation, and they rolled their eyes and gave me the keys. The room itself was very low quality and there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Wifi didn't work. All around, not really a pleasant experience.

I chose this hotel, as I just needed somewhere close to the train station for one night and I wanted to keep costs down. Next time, I will pay 20-30 Euro more.

Pity about the smell !!

Good location for a Loire Valley visit with easy access from hotel to all major roads.Whilst not in centre of town - a 20 min walk - there are bus & tram stops nearby and there's a clean, frequent and rapid service into town via the railway station. (Note that the centre of Tours is not \"car friendly\" so leave the car at the hotel).
Our room was a 6th floor corner room overlooking the square and by French standards was \"huge\" - as was the bathroom !! Unable to open the bedroom window as the handle had been removed but at least the bathroom window opened so we weren't relying on air conditioning for \"fresh air\". Whilst the room was clean and comfortable we could not help but notice a \"bad drain\" smell lingering a few times when we went into our room - and it wasn't from our bathroom - which lead to me \"downgrading\" the review by a point.
The typical good value Ibis buffet breakfast is available however there is a shortage of \"eateries\" in the area for an evening meal - other than the hotel.
Pleasant, friendly English speaking staff with secure \"paid\" parking and wifi available.
Despite the \"bad drain\" smell I would consider this hotel for another visit to Tours.

Filthy and very malodorous bathroom

I realise that you are not keen to post reviews if these include profanity, as mentioned in your review request email This message is not intended as such, but rather, to reflect the situation we found in a realistic annd honest manner. When we entered our room it stank of sewage and we found that the toilet had excrement on the toilet seat and the same and urine inside it. The stenc gave me feelings of nausea, and had only diminished the next day, after the window of the bathroom had remained open during the night. We reported the problem immediately upon arrival but nothing was done at all, except that the person at reception took the room number. Upon this he did not respond anymore; he walked away. This was not a cheap room.

Great family hotel

Perfect place to stay in Tours for a small family. After struggling to get single-room family accommodation in much of France, it was a pleasure to stay in a very reasonably priced, large room where we could stay in with our two toddlers. The service was great too!

We enjoyed everything about this hotel including complimentary breakfast. Our room was well appointed, good size, no noise from other guests. Easy walk into the centre of Tours which is such an interesting city. We had an evening meal at this hotel which was very good. In fact had to find fault with this hotel, and considered it excellent value for what we paid. Would definitely stay there again.

Cycling from Tours

Our stay at the Turone Hotel was intwo parts. We booked in for two nights, had a weeks cycling trip away from Tours and then we returned for another two or three nights stay. From the initial booking, arrivals , check-ins and departures, the whole experience was fautless. The staff were very courteous, friendly, and helpful. At times the foyer seemed to be filled with many guests, but the staff still had time for any enquiries we had, always had time for a friendly ' Bonjour'. Our stay at the Turone Hotel made our holiday in France just that more comfortable.

The hotel is away from the town centre but it only takes 15 minutes on foot to reach the main tourist area. Rooms are a good size and air conditioned-vital in summer. Restaurant food was very good and the service excellent. There are a couple of small supermarkets close by, on the way in to town, and quite a few restaurants. I'd go back.

et calme. Petit déjeuner complet, le personnel en salle très serviable avec sourire : un bonheur pour démarrer la journée.
Parking en sous sol réservable a l'avance par onepark (peu cher vs hotel vs autres parking et parcmetre de la ville). Bref je reviendrai.
Point peut etre à améliorer: plus d'ouverture pour accès parking, car il faudrait manœuvrer la voiture vraiment face à l'accès.

5박의 출장일정이었으며, 섭씨 38도의 폭염으로 날씨가 매우 더울 때에도 호텔방은 매우 시원하게 냉방이 잘 되었습니다. 침구는 매우 깨끗하고 편안함을 느낄 수 있었습니다. 방 전체에 카페트가 깔려있는 구조이지만, 방안에서 신을 수 있는 슬리퍼가 없는 점이 다소 아쉬웠습니다. 방안에 냉장고와 금고는 없고 지내기에 반드시 필요한 물품들만 있는 매우 효율적인 호텔입니다. 밤 늦은 시간에도 프런트 직원을 만날 수 있다는 점이 주위에 있는 작은 호텔들 대비 장점이었던 것 같습니다. 그리고 아침식사에 너무 만족하면서 지냈습니다. 많이 차려져 있지는 않았지만 깔끔하면서 맛있는 아침식사여서 매일 아침 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있었습니다. 위치는 투르 역과 그 위쪽에 위치한 강변에 비해 많이 낙후된 지역이지만, 투르 내 무제한 교통패스만 가지고 있으면 어디든 편하게 다닐 수 있도록 각종 버스와 트램 타는 곳이 호텔 바로 앞에서 있어서 편합니다. 매우 다양한 버스 및 트램이 호텔 바로 앞에 오므로 투르 역을 비롯한 중요한 곳을 다니기에 매우 편리합니다.

Perfektes Übergangshotel für die Reise quer durch Frankreich mit der Familie. Sehr nettes Personal, erstaunlich gutes Restaurant im Hotel - und nicht nur nebenbei ist Tours auch noch eine schöne Stadt. Einfach mit einem Uber zur Kathedrale und ein bißchen die Gegend erkunden. Sehr schön und empfehlenswert.

Hotel muito limpo, novo, recepção e funcionários extremamente solícitos e simpáticos. Localização excelente. De carro o centro fica bem perto, a pé 15 minutos de uma caminhada agradável. Café da manhã muito bom. O estacionamento tem uma entrada bastante estreita, mas perfeitamente possível de manobrar. Bastante seguro.

Accès au parking privé un peu laborieux car sonnette ne semble pas très opérationnelle et place peu large. Bon point en revanche : une grille ferme l’accès la nuit !
Chambre familiale sous les combles au 7eme étage hyper spacieuse mais manque cruellement de mobilier pour poser ses affaires, habits, etc… un comble quand on voit la place vide dans cet espace de près de 30m2. La déco est sympa mais partagée entre rétro 70s orange et vieillotte quand on voit l’état de la moquette et du seul fauteuil en tissus cracra. Velux étanche à la lumière du matin tres appréciable (et rare…). Très grand lit 180 pour les parents mais lit nettement moins confort pour les enfants. La télé ne permet pas de l’orienter sinon elle se coupe car fils trop courts derrière, dommage.
Petit déjeuner avec du personnel qui ne salue pas le matin et assez basique avec peu de choix, notamment les jus : orange avec presseur automatique donc pas froid à défaut d’être tres frais du coup. Jus de pomme pas frais. Beurre en vrac, Nutella en pot, etc… donc pas tres pratique car obligé de tartiner tout sur place même si plus écolo (et économique pour eux bien évidemment). Le sol du restaurant était répugnant car collait aux chaussures : si quelque chose avait été renversé, un coup de nettoyage rapide aurait été plus que bienvenue. Personnel à l’accueil tres agréable.
Sortie du parking impossible sans retourner à l’accueil car on ne nous avait pas donné le code, dommage. Séjour globalement agréable.

Bon hôtel que je recommande. Personnel très aimable et à l'écoute. Chambre spacieuse et très propre, seul point la ventilation que l'on entend dans la chambre.Hôtel calme et très bien situé. Merci également pour l'espace coworking très agréable.

séjour convenable, Positif: très bon petit déjeuner point négatif: les chambres ont besoin d'un vrai rafraîchissement ainsi que les salles de bain.
