Usual Ibis hotel fayre. The air conditioning in our room 507 was so weak we had to sleep with the windows open. If you are like me and no stranger to 3 square meals a day, the shower cubicle may be a tight fit!

If you are looking for a convenient property by the Tours train station, then this place is for you! If you want an active night life or nearby restaurants, this place is NOT for you. Rooms and shower are small, even by European standards. Hôtel checkin was supposed to be noon, but it was after 15:00 before our room was ready.

The hotel is convenient for the station, the breakfast buffet was very good, the evening menu is limited. The staff were super friendly. The bedroom was small, the bathroom and shower tiny. Disappointed there was no kettle in room but I would stay again.

Very clean. Staff very good. Very very small space with barely enough to move around. You could never fall in the bathroom as there was only room for one person to stand between the sink, toilet & wall! Standalone shower good but door was so so small you had to go it sideways until you were in it. Despite this, it was very adequate for a one night stay. Restaurant in hotel a real plus.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were wonderful. The neighborhood is a little on the rough side but it is very close to the train station and therefore very convenient. We felt quite safe even walking in the evening. The room was small but workable, and the bathroom was incredibly small but a very good use of the available space. They have a convenient breakfast option and free coffee/tea/juice in the lounge area.

The room is small. There's no kettle, minifridge, microwave, more over there's only one trash can, and it's located in the washroom. You won't be able to do much more than sleeping or showering there.

Good hotel, a little far from town center

Great service in the bar/restaurant. Very good breakfast for a budget hotel. The elevators were large for France (easily accommodating 4-5 people), but the bathroom was small even for France. There's not much to do in the area (it's a good 20-minute walk to the center of Tours where you'll find restaurants and shopping), but the hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from the train station.

Staff were good and there's a secure car park next door - hotel can validate the car park ticket. On the downside, the bathroom is very small, if you're 6 foot tall, you won't easily fit in the shower, and the hotel is circa 1980s

Rooms very small, I'm 5ft 7ins and I struggled in the bathroom, room 620. Bed and linen excellent. Parking was fine next door. Because of the excessive rain we had to eat in the restaurant, not cheap. Towels small. It looks as though corners are being cut.

Very comfortable but air conditioning and ventilation a bit lacking. Room got a bit stuffy in the night but they provided a fan which solved the problem. Would be concerned if hot weather. I have found this centrally controlled ventilation system at other Ibis hotels and it's not ideal.

Great hotel. Food was of a good standard a cooked fresh in front of you. Rooms are small especially the bathroom but it clean and practical. We used this hotel as a stop over on our return from Spain.

Disappointing room size

we have stayed in Ibis hotels on a dozen occasions and all have been very good with the large rooms being a major selling point. This hotel was in very good condition, clean and the staff excellent,the room contained two single beds as requested, however, I wonder if this was a single room with an extra bed in it as the room size was incredibly small. There was virtually no storage, no shelves and only a rail for 35 items in the tv housing. The shower room/toilet was again minute, you had to reverse onto the toilet. When using the 5 sided shower it was so small any body movement caught the shower control and turned it off.
The area was very good just a short walk from the stations and 10 mins from the center.
The room size made us very disappointed

Good old Ibis in a hotel district

Same small, clean, neat room as all other Ibis'. Comfy bed, uncomfortable pillows.
The train station is straight up the road, and all major sites are walkable as well. The hotel is on a street full of hotels. Decent places to eat start from about a 15 minute walk away. There is a cinema that shows a few original version movies (with French subtitles) a bit behind the station.
Wifi was good but you did have to re-log in a few times (not as often as with other Ibis' I've stayed in).
Staff hospitable and spoke good English.

Convenient if you don't have a car

Convenient location from the train station and good value for the price.
They only provide an all in one soap and shampoo, so it's probably worth bringing your own if you plan in staying for more than a couple of nights.

Our stay in this very clean and well located hotel was a most enjoyable 3 days. Staff were very friendly helpful and efficient. Food was very good. All in all very highly recommended.

What you'd expect from an Ibis

Typical Ibis hotel. Located a short walk from the train station. Room was very small but comfortable. Paid extra for breakfast the next morning but it was very nice and reasonably priced.

Enjoyable stay in Tours

This Ibis hotel seemed to have had a recent revamp, it was bright and clean and compared to other Ibis hotels that we have stayed at, was fairly roomy. It was within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping centre.

L’avantage de réserver dans un ibis c’est que la qualité de la literie est toujours excellente. Par contre la salle de bain était vraiment très petite alors que la chambre était d’une taille plutôt confortable. Manque de voilage aux fenêtres pour éviter le vis à vis avec les autres hôtels.
L’hôtel est en travaux donc nous pouvons espérer que ces deux points négatifs seront vite réglés maintenant.

Personel at reception friendly but only spoke French.
After a long journey no drinks available at bar.
It was only a couple of minutes after 11 pm.
Personel didn't seem very involved about any issues of client.
Besides of that the room was very tiny and not to speak about the bathroom.
This is really unconfortable to move around.

Accueil exemplaire, il va cependant falloir éclaircir la différence entre ibis et ibis budget car quand la chambre d'un ibis (plus onéreux) est plus petite qu'un ibis budget c'est très moyen. Quand vous n'avez pas de place dans la salle de bain (d'une petitesse horrible) et que la porte d'entrée tape dans le meuble télé et le lit c'est qu'il y a un problème.

Accor va devoir revoir clairement sa politique de gamme car, la rentabilité c'est limite surtout quand on paie le prix.

Malheureusement en plus, ce n'est pas la première fois que cela arrive, c'est récurrent maintenant de ne plus reconnaître la différence entre Ibis et la gamme ibis budget.

Accueil irréprochable, la chambre et la salle de bain étaient propre. Néanmoins la chambre trop petite pareille pour les toilettes, la chambre laisse à désirer, la TV qui fonctionne à moitié pas d’image y’avait que le son, pas de wifi (à part s’il fallait demander à l’accueil) à une telle prix on aurais du trouvé une autre chambre bien confortable et plus spacieux ailleurs. Heureusement on passer une nuit uniquement.
Je déconseille.

Non avevamo alte aspettative, ma nonostante ciò siamo rimasti un po' delusi. Lo staff non è stato particolarmente cordiale e abbiamo avuto tanti disservizi dalla formula mezza pensione: il menù era sempre lo stesso, il personale non era preparato a gestire la prenotazione con cena inclusa e ci hanno fatto sentire come se stessimo rubando qualcosa, nonostante fosse già stato tutto pagato in anticipo. Inoltre abbiamo aspettato i piatti per ore e tra il primo e il dolce abbiamo atteso per oltre un'ora! Infine le camere erano davvero sporche e claustrofobiche. Insomma non penso proprio che ci ritorneremo, mi dispiace molto.

Hôtel un peu cher pour les prestations proposées : chambre et salle de bain petites, une seule serviette, pas de cafetière/ eau dans la chambre. L’hôtel propre et confortable cependant. Il faudrait juste diminuer le prix de la chambre afin qu’il soit en adaptation avec l’offre.
