Good location, room with space

The hotel is very basic but the rooms has enough space and a balcony which was great for the dog. The location is great, easy walking distance to Tours old town.
The staff didnt speak much English but we manage to understand each other in Spanish. She was super helpful and welcoming

We ran late and could not reach the property and when we arrived the property was unattended. Luckily Expedia Customer Service agent was very helpful and we gained access inside the property and too our key which was left in a safe. Just could of done with an email from Property advising of this.

3 mins from the train station entrance. Loads of bus stops to go to city centre. Clean and simple rooms, kitchenette is very handy. My room faced the rail tracks which was not a very nice view but for a few nights it was fine. Be aware, reception is open only at certain times.

Easy solution for a visit to Tours

Our stay was very short, but I loved the proximity to the city center and the train station. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the apartments and the complete breakfast option. The next time I visit Tours, I will likely stay here again and take advantage of the kitchenette.

Great aparthotel with secure car park

Great aparthotel near Tours historic centre. Kitchen area really useful with crockery, kettle, microwave, job, fridge. Plentiful underground secure parking for the hotel on site with big spaces. Fitted our 4x4 fine (car park exit a little tight but ok). €10 parking.
We had a balcony room but there is no furniture on it, would be nice to have a few chairs/table so you can enjoy the balcony. Bathroom is small, v typical in France, but fine for an overnight or few days stay.

Great place to stay. Very clean! Good location within walking distance to the train station (allowing you to see all the Castles in the region), the old town and restaurants. Our room overlooking the train tracks but had no noise disturbance. The staff were also very accommodating!

Good location for centre, large car park spaces in secure underground parking (note cars only under 1.8m tall) which was important as we were en route to Portugal with lots of items in the car, nice room with large balcony (airy, can open patio doors), personally I don’t like shower curtains & the bathroom was compact but the kitchen area did the job (microwave, hob, kettle, coffee maker, cutlery/utensils) & tea/coffee in the lobby. One night stay with kitchen area was perfect.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was great. Very close to the train station (a 6 minute walk) and to other sites in the city. Though the hotel is on the tracks, we never heard the trains, though we were on the street side. Loved our stay and would stay there again.

We were very pleasantly surprised with our stay! The reviews really don’t do this place justice. The room was a very decent size with a tv, air conditioner and desk. The bathroom was clean and kitchen had everything you’d need. Would happily stay again if going back to Tours!

Small apparthotel close to town

I only stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The rooms have pans, cooking utensils and whatnot but often are missing some essentials like a spatula. There is no oil/salt/pepper, which is not unusual. My specific room was not cleaned. There was hair on top of the counter and the water pressure in the shower was poor.

The location is very central, and double glazing very efficient so that to be sleeping on the rail track side is not an inconvenient at all. The small studio is fully adequate and fulfil traveler's basic needs. The breakfast buffet was neatly presented. The colour logo of the company is orange, so perhaps in bedrooms it can give a feeling of faded. The bathroom felt Spartan but great shower. Great Wi-Fi. The service was all smiles and helpful.

Fine if all you want is a budget stay

I stayed at the Odagio Aparthotel in Tours for six nights only to find that my room doesn't get cleaned unless I pay 50 euros per go. Cleaning is only included if you stay for less than three nights or something.

The towels don't get changed either and they are by far the worst towels I've ever been given in a paid accommodation. They were thin and rough. There is only a hand held shower in the bath and it lacks pressure.

On the plus side, there is air con in both the living area and the bedroom.

The hotel is in excellent location, just a short walk to city centre.
Our room was in good condition and has got everything we needed; good storage, great beds and bath.
The small kitchen was perfect, enabled us to be completely independent.
We had asked for a quiet room and we've got it, we loved the place!

The hotel is a ten minute walk from the station, not much along the street itself but very close to the tourist quarter (15-20 minute walk). The staff were helpful and the room was fine, good firm mattress. Basically a Travelodge equivalent.

The room is very spacious and clean. There is a kitchenette so we can buy something to cook a simple dinner. What a convenient facility! There is a supermarket just 2-3 blocks away from the hotel. We just stayed for one night and we should have stayed longer in this lovely town and lovely hotel.

Top location Good value exc staff

The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk from the Tours gare and the city centre, depending on your pace and luggage. Rooms are reaced by responsive elevator and are of reasonable size for this type of hotel although the shower is tight for space. We found having the entrance/kitchen separated by a door from the bedroom was a plus. The sound - proofing is excellent and while we faced the rail there was no discernable sound during the day and almost none in the still of night. The price is low and the value great.

Great base for Loire tour

We were impressed with the location next to the train station and the actual room was very nice. Basic but clean and looked newly decorated. Bed was comfy, everything was in working order and we had a small kitchenette which we used a few times to save cash. The old town was only a 15min stroll away. You could hear the trains but there aren't very many compared to other stations and wasn't really a problem. Only downside if anytjing was there was no wifi in the room only an ethernet cable. You could connect to wifi in the lobby whoch was fine. Overall very nice experience.

Hotel was clean and tidy, though could benefit from newer facilities (eg keycards, room wifi - not reception only wifi). It was a good distance to a major train station and good if you have a car to drive to nearby attractions. Apparently our google maps didnt pick up its exact location and took us an additional 15 mins to locate.

The hotel's amenities are basic, but the location close to the railway station is very good, although the noise from the trains right next door could annoy some guests. Needs modernising and improving, especially in relation to other Adagio properties. No overhead shower - only a hand held one. No lids for saucepans, but there is a lid for the frying pan! The bed was like sleeping on a rock.

Good for stopover

Convenient location in Tours for travelers wanting to take a day tour of the Loire Valley. Despite being close to railway lines it is very quiet. The rooms are small but neat and comfortable. The breakfast room is spotless and the buffet style breakfast is excellent. All the staff are attentive and very helpful. Staying at this hotel is good value for money.

Seul bémol lors de la réservation via le site hôtel.com pas mentionné qu'il fallait laisser une garantie de 70 e par carte or ma fille arrivait un jour avant moi...sans sa carte bancaire car lors de la réservation facture envoyée donc ne pensait pas avoir besoin de sa carte! Heureusement que personne à l'accueil a finalement accepté 70 e en espèce.

Notre appartement donnait sur le chemin de fer puisque la gare est proche. Heureusement le bruit n’a pas été gênant grâce au double vitrage.
Pas de lave vaisselle, ni de grill pain mais pour un court séjour c’est acceptable.
Le parking en sous-sol est pratique et abordable (10€/ nuit). Bon rapport qualité /prix dans l’ensemble.

Nous sommes arrivées dans l'après midi et en arrivant notre studio était propre il ne manquait de rien (savon, serviette,éponge etc...)la clime était allumé avant Notre entrée dans le Logement et nous avons à notre disposition une théière avec son matériel (tasse, sucre, sachet de thé etc...) et une télé (nous ne l'avons pas utilisé) les lits étaient confortable et la douche fonctionnait bien. Et le personnel était aimable.
En résumé l'hote' était super !

Résidence hôtelière située à 6 minutes de la gare à pied. Accueil très sympathique de Pascale, Virginie, l’équipe de jour et Domis qui assurée la permanence de nuit. La chambre était très propre, une kitchenette dans l’entrée, salle de bain et chambre séparées. Nous étions côté gare SNCF et il faut le dire c’est bruyant, il y a des trains de marchandises ou autres qui circulent régulièrement tout au long de la nuit. Chauffage type climatiseur réversible assez bruyant aussi. À revoir, les oreillers SVP.

The noise of the air condionning (even when turned off), the noise of the road, night shop and people hanging around outside. Garage door was stuck open so anyone could get in. Have been to this hotel before and was always at the back near train tracks. Was never bothered by noise before. This time was on front of hotel on the main road.

Séjour bon juste des problématiques de nuisances sonores entre la climatisation, les bruits des autres chambres et le bruit extérieur. La chambre restait pour autant très sympathique avec la possibilité de cuisiner si besoin.
